@altair song Hitomi nearly jumped out of her skin when the line was picked up and a voice came through. She'd been so lost in thought. She was ready though. Having practiced what to say. She's horrible when it comes to phone calls. "Oh-Hello! I was wondering if you had any openings for a piercing today..." She hummed. "Specifically piercings... I've been meaning to do this for a while now. I just haven't had the time." Her cat, Momo, had jumped up onto the couch next to her. She scratched Momo's ears with a soft smile. She was actually excited now that she was making the phone call. She wouldn't back out this time. She would be getting these piercings done. The woman's heart skipped a beat though out of pure excitement.

@hitomi sakurai with the surprisingly warm light of late winter shining through the large windows of his studio, the energy thrumming through altair's was not surprising. he bobbed his head along to the sound of one of his playlists or another, the shouts of joe talbot coming from the speakers pushing him around the studio, from his favored station to the little corner in the back where he keeps all his larger equipment.

his fingers dance across the display of the autoclave he just loaded when the shrill sound of his work phone cuts through the music. for a moment, altair just stares towards the offending device - the thought of having to hire a receptionist sooner than later crossing his mind - before he presses the 'start' button on his sterilizer with one hand and grabs the remote to lower the music with another. the phone rings two more times before he grabs it off of the charging station and presses it to his ear, not before clearing his throat. "celestial canvas ink, hey," he speaks into the mic, throwing himself into the rolling chair behind the receptionist counter, his free hand already reaching for a pen. "this is altair speakin'. how can we help ya'?"

She'd finally gathered the courage to go and get a specific piercing done. One she'd been wanting for a while but hadn't gotten around to yet. She'd always back out before she even dialed the number for the tattoo studio. This time she wasn't going to. She was getting these piercings done. She dialed the number and waited patiently for an answer. She rehearsed her words a few times before stopping in case the phone was answered sooner than expected.
