about the rp
when war ensues, even the most formidable of figures seek refuge. in times of desperation, where royal blood is spilt onto mortal ground, the twelve olympians came together, amidst their battle with the titans, to construct a retreat -- a floating land blanketed away from earth within the clouds of heaven. after the completion of the shelter, triumph was secured with the titans' exile, damned into the pits of tartarus. now serving as a potent reminder of the gods' victory, the building was further established into a monumental hotel, symbolizing the days where the gods' and goddesses' once sought for a quick escapade -- a getaway.
deities, high in competence or not, travel across the sacred lands to check into the Palace of Ouranos, drawn by the delicately engraved gold embellishments that adorns the exterior. known to possess unparalleled service and exceptional hospitality, gods and goddesses book a room or two in hopes of unwinding, and to finally earn their well-deserved rest. with the able god Hermes, word travels speedily across mount olympus, reaching even to the lowest depths of Hell. demi-gods, muses, and magical creatures of all sizes approach the sacred structure to plead for even the tiniest sliver of blessing -- gaining the opportunity to apply for one of the multiple jobs in the establishment. deemed too lowly to be at par with the gods, the hotel was run by the minority who, in exchange, were granted access to reside in the plethora of rooms available.
rules & guidelines
❶ Favorite the rp.
❷ This is an au rp; you are not idols, and we encourage you to be creative with your characters. If you need an idea or example of what kind of characters you can have, check out an admin’s character bio.
❸ Marriage, pregnancy, controlled violence (like roughhousing and bar fights), drug use, and such are allowed, just be sure you a) keep it in designated zones (like and such in rated rooms), and b) have your partner's consent.
❹ We accept any celebrity of any ual orientation.
❺ Second characters are 200 points (this may be subject to change), but they will not receive inactivity warnings, so if you go inactive with them, you will get kicked.
❻ Inactivity is set to 15 days. That’s pretty much two weeks. You will receive two inactivity warnings before you are kicked.
❼ Hiatuses can last up to one month (four weeks), and semi-hiatuses a month and a half (six weeks). Extensions can be given if needed, but make sure you talk to an admin about that.
❽ Out of character drama will not be tolerated at all. Leave any drama you are in wherever it is and/or handle that in private. If you are caught disturbing multiple people or if an admin receives multiple complaints about you, you will be given a warning. Any further issues and you will be kicked.
❾ Do interact with the other members of the roleplay, especially the newcomers. No one likes feeling left out and ignored, so please make an effort to talk outside of your group of friends every now and again. Please also refrain from face-chasing.
❿ Please set up your profiles as soon as possible. Use the provided roleplaying rooms as well.
