Casia Apartment Complex
Located in Lavande, a small town just a bit under an hour drive from the nearest big city. It serves as a tourist town during the summer, when lavenders bloom and decorate the entirety of the town.

Disclaimer: Lavande is a town of fiction. It will not be in Korea, America, or any particular country for the purpose of leaving things to imagination. We do not want to be restricted to a country in the case that some of us will not know how things in that place work. With that said, assume everyone speaks English. Also! This is an alternate universe roleplay so the COVID-19 pandemic ceases to exist! Lavande is not in quarantine!

We are back and better than ever! Welcome to the new and improved version of the second edition of Sandbox. The theme is simple: apartment au—with a little twist. This will be an events-driven roleplay, where each and every one of you will interact to create a big story. Want to know more? Failure to respect the rules will result in receiving warnings after two violations, and an immediate boot after three.

This is an au rp. You are not idols. Be creative with your backgrounds.
 

All celebrities of all nationalities and orientations are welcome. You are allowed a 3-year difference from your faceclaim's real age. With that said, your faceclaims have to be above 18 IC and OOC.
 

Character Rules:
Seconds after 500 points and upvote OR at least two ongoing threads and an upvote.
Thirds after at least two ongoing threads on BOTH of your current characters and blogpost / bringing someone in.

This is an events-driven roleplay. More information here (please read).
 

Rated concepts / plots (including pregnancies) must be consensual and done in the appropriate rooms. We will not have specific rated rooms, so please be mindful of where you roleplay rated concepts. For sensitive topics (such as abuse, PTSD, etc.), please include a warning at the beginning of your post. 
 

PM the admin "Sandbox Bot" (and only Sandbox Bot) if you are leaving.
 

You must earn 100 points within 3 days of being accepted. Inactivity set to 5 days. 24 hour period warning before you are booted. The second inactivity will result in an immediate kick.
 

Hiatus Rules:
Hiatus up to two weeks.
Semi-hiatus up to three weeks. Log in every once in a while.
Disclaimer: We retain the right to judge your activity when asking for a hiatus.
Post in the designated "Hiatus Request Room" for easier tracking. Do NOT comment or PM an admin. 
 

Out of character drama is not tolerated whatsoever。
This includes bad-mouthing, passive aggressive slander, and any obvious case of user taunting. You will be issued one warning if parties resolve the issue. If not, anyone with major involvement will be booted immediately.
 

Respect the rules in the rooms。
Keep OOC out of the IC rooms. Stop mixing IC with OOC. There is a designated ooc room for you. Brackets every once in a while are fine. Hint: this is one of the most important rules.
 

Do not break the fourth wall。
You are here to play a character, not a person behind a computer screen. No mentions of typing, logging on, etc.
 

Do not make people feel left out. Please try to make everyone feel welcome. Try to avoid bubble rping. This includes user and facechasing.
 

Dating ban of 10 days. No move-in couples. The concept of this roleplay is to build things from scratch (hence, sandbox). We want to see relationships blossoming.
Exception: characters from the previous rendition of sandbox.
 

Please set up your profile as soon as possible. Your application in your description box will suffice.
 

Note that you will NOT receive an apartment right away. In order to prevent an excess of empty / unused roooms, each character must earn 200 points before requesting.
 

Detailed threads are very much encouraged! One-liners are okay, but make sure that you are interacting / roleplaying! Again, we want to see you building your characters.
