When the full moon is high in the sky do you ever hear the sound of a wolf cry?
Step inside here and you definitely will. For this is the home of werewolves. Not the kind in all of the tales though, the ones whose bites turn you into one. No, these werewolves are those who are born as one.
When the moon is at it's most full every wolf has no choice but to transform into their canine form. That is the curse of the werewolf. But when the moon is anything else then all wolves are free to change forms at will.
All of the wolves here are strong, stronger than what you might expect. They have increased speed over land. And their senses are incredibly improved compared to those of an average human. They also heal at a much faster rate.
The wolves here are split into eight different packs.
First we have the Rocky Mountain Pack. This pack of wolves are able to control the elemental power of earth in varying degrees depending on their position within the pack. They live up on the rocky edges and ground of the mountain. They are somewhat feral but not the most feral pack here.
That is the Dense Forest Pack. They are able to control the power of fire. And just like the burning flames they are somewhat vicious and ferocious. Extremely territorial, it's best not to get on their bad side. But if you can befriend a member of this pack then you'll find yourself with one of the best allies you could have hoped for. As their name suggests they live in the dense part of the forest.
Closely linked to the fire pack is the Sandy Desert Pack. Just like their name suggests, they live in the desert, situated in between the city and the dense forest. They are a nomadic pack who have abilities over metal.
Next we have the Inner City Pack. This pack chooses to live amongst the humans in the middle of the city. Only becoming wolves when they need to and out of the city limits. They have the ability of being able to control electricity.
Then we have the Forest Clearing Pack who just like the name suggests, choose to live in the lighter parts of the forest. They can control water so are often found down by the river. They are a lot more peaceful compared to the other forest pack but don't anger them for just like their element they can cause an awful lot of damage.
Then we have the Mountain Forest Pack. They live on the other side of the mountain to the Rocky Mountain Pack amongst the sparse forest that survives up that high. They control the element of air. They are usually very calm, and it's hard to tell what they are thinking. But don't let their stoic natures fool you, they will defend their pack to the death if they have to.
The Mountain Peak Pack live up on the highest peaks of the mountain where the air is cold and the ground frozen. Not much is known about them however they are not a pack to be messed with. Especially not when it has been rumoured that they can turn anything and anyone into a block of ice.
A long standing pack is the Old Forest Pack who live up on the mountain in connection with their sibling earth pack. They are at one with nature, and are greatly affected by anything that can harm the trees with which they are connected with. They are careful, and don't easily put their trust in others.
And last but not least we have the Outer City Pack. A group of wolves who live in the shadows, invisible to the humans around them. They are cautious, rarely making their presence known... until now.
Every pack has an Alpha (male) to lead them and a Beta (also male) who acts in the Alpha's stead when he is not there. It is up to the two of them to look after the health and safety of every pack member. The matriarch is the highest ranking female, who acts as if a mother to all of the wolves. The delta is the third in command for the males and is on the same ranking as the matriarch. The pack also contains three female wolves with the powers of precognition. You will also find three healers, though these can be either male or female. There are five male guardians who protect the pack and there are also three female and three male scouts. There are two female and two male wolves who are known as the foragers. And four young male wolves in training to be guardians are the novices.
So where do you fit in?
Choose your pack wisely.
