Desert Tribe
"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are."
The founder of the Desert Tribe used to live in the town and once served in the castle. Tired of the ty treatment and tyranny the slave ran away and managed to get out with a few of his friends. They looked up to him for guidance in town and pretty much followed him the rest of the way when he lead a few other folk that merely wanted to be free away from the stone walls holding them in. He started a camp out by the oasis and among the rolling dunes and was loved by his people from then on. He let pretty much anyone in so long as freedom truly was what they desired and the male was wise enough to be able to tell.
At a young age, Sandara discovered her love for the desert, mystified by the ever shifting sands. To her, the desert was a living being. She had never felt part of the nearby Grassland Town even though she had grown up there. As soon as she had heard the rumours of a new tribe emerging out of the desert, she had quickly escaped the confining walls of the Town and had become a part of the desert itself.
When the original leader announced that he wanted to uncover more of the world and ventured off on his own, asking Sandara take his position as protector of the tribe. Her passion for the desert and her people ensured that she could not refuse.
Although she may never show it, Sandara has a great passion for her people. Do not underestimate her just because she is a pretty face. She regularly slips into the town to dance at the Tavern and, unbeknownst to them, steal from her customers. Her skills in stealth and thievery are incomparable. She will not settle for her people being ill treated and will undoubtedly seek revenge.
The original leader often liked to make sure the people are kept happy and throw celebrations rather often, gathering them to socialize, dance, and just celebrate being free. In memory of him, Sandara carries on this position.
He had also started a tradition to celebrate the coming of adulthood amongst his tribe, wanting to give yet another reason to be joyous. males wear a thin golden string around their manhood (of course not tight enough to cut off circulation) and females wear theirs around their upper thighs. So, when they officially embrace manhood/womanhood they take off their strings. However the owner has the freedom of choice to make their "string" any object they please (for example, Baekhyun wore a thin gold chain around his hips and Sura wears a golden garter on her thigh).
(Sandara doesn't like to recognise herself as a leader thus why I've got him organized with the thieves- she was originally only a thief before she took the role of leader.)
