@☼ Chaerin "Wow," Onew's eyes widened at how she was trained to survive with little water. "That's impressive."
He was relieved that she trusted him - and he was far too accepting to suspect she could be untrustworthy. So, without any worry, he turned around to face away from her, not even thinking she could take advantage and hold a weapon against him.
Her breath tickled against his ear and he jumped around the face her, stumbling back. "Oh, sorry! Sorry!" He forgot that she could have been peeing and covered his eyes with his hand. Peeking through his fingers, he grinned sheepishly. "Don't do that again."
@❊ Jinki /tilts my head on the side as you grinned sheepishly
Don't worry, you didn't crossed the line..... Yet
/smiling softly at you and refuses the water
I'm good, I can resist thirst for about a day.
We're trained like that
/eye smiling as I chuckles soflty when I saw your cheeks flush
I have a huge trust on you don't worry
/giggles a bit as you turn around and covers your eyes, walking quietly towards your back, tip-toeing a bit to reach your ear
You better not to mister
/smiles a bit as I step back again
@☼ Chaerin "Ah," Onew grinned sheepishly, knowing he might have insulted her. "Yes." It was probably best he didn't get on her bad side since she apparently knew his way home - and he didn't. She could easily direct him in the opposite direction where he'd die of starvation. It was probably best to tred lightly with her.
Shrugging his shoulders, he passed his wattle bottle over to her as a peace offering. "I'm trusting you not to drink it all," he teased.
Onew grinned as the girl laughed hard at his jokes. He puffed out his chest, proud of his comedic abilities. He hadn't even known he could be that funny.
"Of course not," Onew smiled widely, though his cheeks were slightly flushed at the idea of him peeking while she peed. That wasn't exactly something he did very often - or at all. It wasn't really a gentlemanly thing to do.
Turning around, his back to her, he pressed his palms to his eyes and promised aloud, "I won't peek."
@❊ Jinki A map won't save you here, mister
/chuckles softly
Only your survival instincts can help you, that is if you have that
/sticks my tounge out then giggles
/feels a bit of muscle in your arm as I hold it for a while, as my subconscious drools inside me
'This man doesn't look like a masculine-type-of-guy but boy do he have a firm muscles' /i thought as I giggle inwardly
Of course I wanted to come! It's Seaside that we're talking about, who wouldn't want to stay there right?
/grins widely but then scoffs
Maybe except for you because based on what I'm seeing right now, you dom't want to stay there
/tilts my head for a while as you offer me water, as I was about to get it you pulled it back, glares at you
Yes, I am a camel who have a stored water in my hips and not to mention a girl camel who knows your way home.
Well I guess this camel can disappear anytime she wants right?
/chuckles softly as I hit you in the shoulders lightly
/laughs hards as you imitate me
You sir, are a lame imitator but a great entertainer
/holds my tummy as I laugh/clears my throat for a while as I take your hand
Nice to meet you Onew the Wonderer who doesn't even know where he's going. I'm Chaerin, a wall guard.
/smiling a bit
Of course I won't forget to pee, just don't peek okay?
/chuckles softly
@☼ Chaerin Onew gulped, nervous, as the girl circled him, her eyes narrowed, surveying every inch of him. For a minute, he was afraid to move, alert that she could catch the tiniest twitch and pounce like a cat. He didn't exactly want to be mauled to death. It was slightly worse than dying of dehydration out here in the desert.
His eyes widened as she mocked him, almost exactly spelling out what he had done this morning. "Hey," he added, sheepishly, lifting up the scroll in his hands. "I have a map," he said as if as a consolation. Onew looked the girl up and down, his eyebrows raised, his eyes wide. He was sure he looked intimidated. Because she was intimidating.
She was smaller than he was in height but she held herself as if she were a giant, folding her arms across her chest triumphantly, her hip cocked to the side.
And then all that dissolved at the mention of the seaside. She widened her eyes, looking almost like a little child and he couldn't help but grin, a sigh of relief escaping him. He let out a little chuckle when she joined in with giggles and he watched her as if she were a little puppy, delighting in every little thing.
She really wasn't all that intimidating. Maybe it was all a show. But the real her - the child inside of her - was kind of endearing. He felt far more relaxed with that version of her.
Onew grinned sheepishly when she took his hand and pointed it in the right direction. It was incredibly embarrassing how she, a lady of the desert, new where to go to reach the seaside - and he had no clue.
"Thanks," he chuckled under his breath, noticing how surprisingly smooth the skin of her hand was despite the fact she was constantly surrounded by sand. He would of thought her hands would have been rough, hardened by the weather here. Yet she kept exceeding his expectations.
Onew blinked at her, surprised. "You actually... want to come?" It hadn't exactly been his plan; wander out into the desert, find a girl and then immediately head back home. But he had to say, it sounded a whole lot more appealing than wandering around here for another five days.
"Sure," he shrugged, trying to regain his bearings and remind himself where she'd said the direction of home was. Unhooking his water bottle from his hip, he unclasped it and gulped a whole lot of water down. "Do you want some?" He offered to the girl, before quickly pulling back. "No, you're probably like a camel. You probably store water in your hips or something." He chuckled to himself at the joke he had thought was innocent.
But before he took a step towards home, he stood thoughtfully before raising his eyebrow. "Hey," he said as if the thought had just suddenly come to him. "If you're coming to my town, that means I get to do this."
And he paced around her, peering at her, his arms crossed, mocking her. "Are you crazy?" He said, imitating her. "Because you look crazy."
He laughed at himself before sticking his hand out at her. "I'm Onew," he offered, declaring a truce. It wasn't as if he was threatened by her. He was probably too oblivious to ever notice any threats anyway. "I shall be your guide. Don't forget to pee if you need to now because the trip is a long one." And, with that, he imitated offering her to step onto his tour bus.
@❊ Jinki Looking at the guy from head too toe to see if he really looks like a crazy person, my subconscious is tapping her fingers at the table while looking at the guy also and she said "he doesn't look like an axe murderer but there's a tiny bitsy possibility that he is somehow crazy" I pursed my lips to suppress the laughter that's going to come out of my mouth. "Act like a boss, Chaerin. Act cool" I thought then clears my throat for a second. "Based on what I'm looking at, maybe you are." I replied as I look at him while I raised a brow.
Stepping forward a bit closer to the guy and walks around him, sensing that he's a bit uncomfortable at my interrogation. "Well? Don't tell me you just woke up then decided to go here for an adventure without a map or anything, because that reason doesn't work on me" I said when I was infront of him again with my arms curled.
My eyes widens when I heard the word 'seaside' then looks at where you point your finger grinning like a kid then giggles when you drop your hands when you realized you don't know where it is, grabbing your hands again and points at the other side and said "That's the way to sea side" smiling at him when he said I should come sometime, replying "I always wanted to go there when I was like 10." Nodding my head a bit then pats his shoulders "Hey, I would love to go there, Seaside is one of the beautiful places here. How can I say no?" I said, chuckling softly
@☼ Chaerin "Me?" Onew blinked, bewildered, a goofy smile spreading over his face. "Crazy?" He made a face that said 'as if' before waving his hand over his face as if to say 'do I look crazy?' He raised a single eyebrow, amused.
Honestly, he was oblivious to why on earth he could be considered a threat out here in the desert. He had lived a sheltered life back in the Seaside town. He had never really ventured beyond its walls before. He had no clue about the lives people lived out here. Why would this girl need to worry so much?
Sensing that she was a little apprehensive, Onew took a step back and stuffed his hands in his pockets. He had only just realised that he may have been invading her personal taste.
Onew's eyes darted to the side when she started her interrogation. "Err," he quirked his lips up into an awkward smile. He scratched at the back of his neck, uncomfortable. He didn't exactly want to admit he had just woken up and randomly decided he was going to venture out into the desert without any mapped out plan. He had decided he was going to be spontaneous. Turns out spontaneity didn't suit him.
His eyes perked up at the question about where he came from. Now that was one he could answer. "I hail from yonder Seaside!" He grinned, playful, pointing off into the distance behind him. He glanced where he had pointed and realised that he actually had no clue if his town was in that direction or not. Dropping his arm slowly, he announced, "You should come sometime!" Then his smile faltered, watching for her reaction... "No? Too soon. Okay..." His shoulders slumped. He wasn't very practiced in this Desert small talk...
Tilts my head to the side to get a better view of the man lying on the sand, I always have this instinct to help people who are in need but this time I'm having second thoughts wether to help this man who looks like he haven't eaten for a long time. "Is this man one of the theives or not?" I thought, but then my subconscious wakes up and murmurs "do he look like a theif to you? Do you think this handsome guy infront of you is a 'theif'?" I rolled my eyes at my subconsious.
"Does he look like a theif?" I repeated the thought over and over again in my head
I jumped backward as I saw him walking towards me, my hands are curled into a fists, getting ready to punch him in the face. Chuckling inwardly as I saw his goofy like smile, releasing my curled fists and smiles a bit at what the man infront of me said "You're not crazy right? Because if you are, I can't take you to my tribe." Grinning lightly
Crossing my arms and looks at him from head to foot, thinking wether to help this man or just let him die here for good. But instead I asked "What are you doing here? Are you a theif? If not, what tribe do you came from? Why would you think I will help you?" A small smile formed my lips as I ask too many question, I'm normally acting like a serious girl but the truth is I'm just a happy go lucky girl who loves to mess around
@☼ Chaerin Onew snapped his head up, blinking, convinced he had heard a voice. He whipped his head around, trying to determine where it had come from, and his eyes were met with the hazy figure of a female staring at him, her arms shielding her eyes from the sun. Onew blinked, convinced she was a mirage, that his eyes were playing tricks on him. He ripped his fists against his eyes, his water bottle and jacket hanging from his backpack clanking as he moved. Nope, she was still there. He pressed his eyes closed once more before slowly peeling them open.
Still there.
"Hey, are you lost?" Her voice almost made him jump out of his skin, startled that she was even real let alone could speak
Convinced instantly that she was really there, a huge smile spread over his face. "Yes!" He burst out, before reevaluating, his smile faltering. That made him sound way too enthusiastic to be lost.
Completely oblivious to the fact that she could be at all a danger to him, he strode towards her, his wide smile replaced back onto his face. "You are the best thing I've seen all day," he sighed, so happy to see someone, anyone. He thought he was going to die out here, buried underneath the sand, never to be found again. What would happen to his precious lighthouse? Those marine biologists couldn't handle it for more than a day. He made a face, shivering at the thought.
Slapping his sweaty palms against her forearms, Onew debated whether to hug her. Maybe that was a bit forward. Instead he resorted to just grinning widely, keeping her at arms length distance. "Can you get me out of here?" He pleaded, giving her his best 'I'm hopelessly lost' face. "Even somewhere where I could get a wash would make my day." He made a face at the scent of his sweat coating his skin. He stunk.
@❊ Jinki Once a month Chaerin and her companions wandered the dunes, looking for thieves who's hiding somewhere in the endless dunes. Sometimes she thinks that it's hopeless to catch some thieves in this huge and isolated place, but because she chooses this job she doesn't complain that much. Growing up in the dessert isn't a joke, you have to endure everything, like the heat that comes from the sun that burns your skin and also the horrible sand storm. But eventually she got used to those kind of hardships.
Chaerin chooses to be a wall guard because of one reason, she wants to go out and get away from the normal life she have, she wanted to be free and do everything she wants. Doing that, she always sneaks away from her companions to roam around the dunes, but this time she thinks of running away instead of just roaming around.
While she's walking she saw a blur image of a man walking around in circles and seems to be lost, without second thoughts she walks toward the man and calls out
"Hey, are you lost" lifting her arms to block the sunlight from coming to her eyes
[] Sorry for not copying the same length for my reply. I totally at 3rd :(
@☼ Chaerin Okay, so Onew was lost. His forehead creased, sweat dripping over the wrinkles and he reached up to swipe them away with the back of his hand. He hissed to himself, turning a full 360 degrees but all he saw was endless sand upon endless sand. Steam hovered above it, blurring his vision. How had he come this far away from his town without noticing?
The sun was hot and unforgiving on his skin. He had started out with layers of jackets - because, well, where there was sea, there was wind. But now he'd realised how stupid of a mistake that had been. He had already stripped down to just his tank top. And he couldn't very well wander the desert . He made a face at the thought, cringing.
Onew pulled open the map he'd aquired when he'd started his 'little' adventure. He remembered the moment he'd decided to do this. He'd woken up in the morning with the sudden inspiration to actually do something with his life. He'd always put it off, being content where he lived. But every night he would gaze out into the ocean, wondering what was out there. But he didn't very well have a boat and it seemed all that much safer to travel by land. So he'd entrusted the care of the lighthouse to one of the marine biologists and had packed his backpack, preparing for a desert adventure.
So much for adventure. Onew stared down at the map in his hands, the yellowing paper accurate to the colour of the landscape that currently surrounded him. His backpack slung over his sweat dripped shoulders, the material of his tank top sticking to the skin of his back. Onew squinted at the map, staring at the mapped out stretching, endless desert. Where the heck was he? Every part of the desert looked the same. Onew lifted his eyes hopelessly at the landscape all around him, then closed his eyes and waved his finger above the map before dropping it. Slowly, he peeled his eyes open, glancing down at where his finger had landed on the map. Right in the centre of the desert.
He shrugged. "It's a good a guess as any," he sighed before picking a random direction to walk and headed off, adjusting his backpack on his shoulders.
@☼ Luhan |SH| She watched as it hit something, and there was a shaking of a figure. Yep, there he was. She smirked, clicking at her horse to go, and then cantering hard to him. The horse snorted for breath as it was a sprint, the other getting up and doing the same. But she was on horse. She could diffidently out run him. "Yah!" she yelled, shotting another arrow, but it hit his bag again. "Dannit" she mummbled, but soon enough she was right next to him in his sprint. She yanked the horse in front of him, forcing him to stop or if he tried to run stop and try to recover in the other direction, but she had already jumped off her horse, knocking him hard to the ground.
@☾ Minah How in the freaking hell he was spotted that easily he didn't know. All he knew was that his bag saved his - literally. Oh- One look told him what gave him away. That damned bracelet he had to have of course! It was partially sticking out of the bag and glinting out of the sunlight typical. Now sticking out of the bag as well was an arrow. Luhan knew he sure as hell wasn't about to get away that easily but he could damned well try! The male suddenly took off sprinting, struggling his way up another sand dune and holding his bag behind him once again just in case the person chasing him decided to be all happy-go-shooty all over again.
@☼ Luhan Minah clicked and kicked at her horse, cantering across the dessert sands. 'I can't belive he would take my braclet!' she was so mad, That braclet was very presious to her, and she would do anything to get it back. She slowed her horse down and looked, tracking the theif. She looked closly around, sqinting as her horse gasped for air. Something shined in the light and caught her eye. "There" she smiled and aimed, shooting an arrow hard and fast right to the person
@☾ Minah Luhan was almost home free. He could see the glow of the flames from his camp in the distance. Then he heard the pounding of hooves echoing over the sands. "!" the male hissed out in a whisper clutching the strap of his bag closer as he slid down a dune and crouched behind one of its many curling swirls as if it were a blockade in attempt to stay out of sight. He just stole from the nomads and was THIS close to getting away and DAMNIT it was such a nice and shiny freaking bracelet how the hell was he supposed to resist?
@☾ Atsushi The girl was resting on a sand dune like always, staring up at the clear sky. Usually she'd only come at night, but she had free time on her hands. Thankfully the hottest time of the day had already passed. So she simply laid out, wondering if she should have brought something to cover her skin so she wouldn't burn. That probably would have been a good idea, but alas she was already a good mile away from the clan. Her clan. Softly she began humming a song she learned while living with the nomads, it being a song almost ever nomad knew. And for a second she felt a sharp pang in her heart. Meh.
@☾ Sungyeol ”pffff” the male laughed amused. Did this guy didn`t think straight? Of course, Hamin was a thief, but not a ing liar, or well depends situation really. Ok, not going into details, Hamin was a sneaky, sly, seductive type, learning from the best, he knew every small trick to fool around with stupid brain fucntionless people like this guy, yet, this time he spoke the truth. The male moved his hand to his chest, holding the other dramatically out. ” Who can I, a filthy thief steal such a precious creation from mother earth herself, such graceful legs, good figure, and silky mane. I have all respect for their respective owners. ” he spoke with such passion, so living into his words, eccentric as he was. Switching over to a more serious face, cold glaring at the male who turned closer to him. ” Listen her slughead… For all respect, I was on my way form work to my respective tribe, then how careless could you be letting a beauty go on lose like this? Why should I have done, I tried to lead her home, and if so not, I would return her to safety, instead of letting her wander off to the danger alone in this desert. ” he spoke in a deep tone, sharpening his eyes.
Seriously, getting tired of this , Hamin pulled up his beloved Haladie, motioning his blade close to the throat of the male, as the other hand tugged to his shirt. ” Let me trying to say this for one last time slowly enough for your brain to process.. I.. Didn`t.. steal . it.. so stop assuming something you don`t have proof on. ” Hamin pulled the boy back, not wanting to ruin his peaceful night. Now he wanted to get home, into his tent, maybe cook some night snack with dara rambling about her day. She loved to brag about her funds during a day, quite entertaining indeed and he didn`t wanted to miss that.
”Also, one last thing cutie…. Brush your teeth next time you try to look all mighty and scary at me… Seriously it was stinking… ” he smirked turning over to the guy before just passing him, giving a small mischievous wink, holding close onto his weapon, deciding to just walk home. He didn`t have any business with this man. There was no need to spill any red tonight. Then a large growl came from down.. Completely ruining the silence. He must be hungry. Of course he hasn`t been eating since lunch today! The boy heaved a sigh, hoping dara was making something for them, if she wasn`t already asleep though, she had an tendency to snore really loudly at night… Girls… What to even do with them. While walking, he wondered though. The brunette crossed his arms over each other, it started to get pretty chilly outside. “brr…” Was it going to rain tonight? A sandstorm?
@☾ Sungyeol The boy kept on stroking its silky mane, this horse was incredibly pretty, its curious dark onyx eyes, its structure of a body shape, it must have been fed well by its owner, it seemed healthy as well. Almost mesmerizing the sensation of being so close to such perfection. ”Are you a boy or girl lovely?” he asked and giggled, and the horse snorted satisfied with the cuddles. The boy must admit, the night have gotten quite less lonesome than he expected, yet still peaceful. ”almost turning m eon haha, but keep it a secret… its kinda embarrasing. ” he whispered to himself, or he meant to tell the horse. Ugh Hamin felt some red crawl upon his cheeks, was he blushing to a horse? Strange.
He shook his head, and took onto its reins. This horse must have an owner, and it couldn`t aimlessly wander all night, it would never be safe out here alone in the desert. What if those disgusting towns people found the horse and decided to make horse meat for dinner. Strangely the horse decided to follow the strange thief, was it because of its interactions with horses before? Did Hamin smell horse?
”Hey, you!” A male? He didn`t seem quite in the most cheerful mood really. ”Get away from that horse! I don`t care if you were enough of an idiot to steal from the nomads, but be smart enough to know when the game`s up and give the horse back Then maybe I’ll let you go on your way.” the boy yelled, quite angrily. AND FOR ING NO REASON. A nomad huh? Them ing idiots, and this one seemed to be the common type specified as idiot. He may be a thief, but he had respect for animals, unlike a particular partner. He could easily steal food and money, but never an animal.
The moment the guy neared himself, he did quite itch a nerve onto hamin. Fine, he was a thief, but never accuse him for something he didn`t do! ” Hey idiot, to your information, I didn`t steal this horse! I just came to find it on my way home! Besides, how dare you call me a bastard right infront of my face! Apologize immediately and I might spare you for my rage…” hamin hissed, tightening his fist, holding back some of his rage. He hated people like these. ”Pff… Take better care of your horses scumbag…” he mumbled. He couldn´t see the male properly, but he seemed quite the older type of hamin, maybe by a few years, chocolate brown curly hair in a quite dazzling ponytail, and eyes dark as the richest chocolate from the wealthier streets. Quite the delicious comparison of a person. Maybe he was hungry, thats why he started to describe the male as chocolate. Or well he was quite the exotic type, he didn`t seem to a common nomad, tan was he too. Still, e-even if he looked quite nice he was still an idiot !
@☾ Sungyeol Sun so bright, going down, tell me, which direction is my home? A heavy sigh escaped some plump lips, sand sliddered down in between the shoes in between his toes. In a warm formula of colors shading the sunset. Declaring that the day was over. The wind was howling in the night, playing with long brown hair, wandering on his own, silently. A young male with an heavy sack over his shoulder, A black hooded cape covered his face, except the eyes as blue as the rainiest storms. A filthy thief, simply doing his duty. No questions, just finish it fast and swift. It was a long walk, however, the male knew his directions, might take the whole night, yet he loved a nights walk, and rather take free the next day, play with moon knight, bath at oasis. Yes, it was simply one of those days. The young male opened his mouth wide for a big yawn, holding over his hand so none bugs would fly aimlessly inside.
It was just as how he liked it, no one else than him and the nature. Only nature. Desert saved him yet almost killed him, that was how nature ruled, with both a caring mind but an iron fist. You never knew whether it wanted you to suffocate in the sand or walk smoothly as a huge sandcastle where children could play. The best weather of the year was simply rain, how rain could drip down from above, cry those refreshing tears and soak you in it. It was almost as a blessing. “snort…” The boy blinked a little, glancing up to see a dark figure alone. Eh? The boy left a small chuckle out, he must been hallucinating again. Good trick mother earth, playing with my mind again? “snort , snort “ it said again, the brunette were driven closer to it, stretching out a hand and felt it breathing, a little startled at first. It was real? A horse alone in the desert? Unusual. He thought, before smiling warmly to it, carefully and steady reaching his hand for his mane. “ Hey beauty, have you gotten lost? “ he asked softly to it, only to hear it snort. “ I`m Hamin, nice to meet you too. “
{{Just passing the time. Open for anyone to join! Would be fun to run into a Nomad ;) }}
The sand dunes were a liquid, inky blue deep at night. They reflected the endless, swirling colours of space; of navy, of purple and grey. They shifted and changed like ocean waves, the wind scooping up sand, twirling it in the air before scattering it down again.
The desert was cool at night. The breeze bare arms, running its fingers through her hair.
She slid silently across the dunes, her bare feet sinking into the sand.
She couldn't sleep. Again.
She shouldn't have been surprised. How many nights had it been like this? Five? Ten? Fifteen? She'd lost count.
The taste of the air kept her awake. It was refreshing and, at the same time, a curse. It was oddly peaceful.
The desert was an entirely different being at night. It moved in different ways, rumbling along, shadows scattering and scurrying across the sands.
It was the only thing that had witnessed her at times like these. These were the moments where she was most vulnerable; small, powerless, insignificant. The desert stretched on for miles, swallowing her whole.
Sandara sunk to the sand.man amused, shivering sigh escaped her lips. Hamin didn't even know about this. He didn't know that she couldn't sleep; that she hadn't really slept in a long time.
Sandara stared out into the distance. She could see the flickering candle lights of her camp, and the walls of the town beyond. She'd wandered a lot farther than she'd anticipated. But at least those lights were there to guide her back. She'd always know the direction of home.
Sandara slid onto her back, the sand rippling underneath her. Was it out of fear that she couldn't sleep? She supposed it was. Darkness was a monster, ready to devour. Sleep was an altogether more unavoidable darkness. It lay in wait. She hated the secrets it held, the threats it stored, the nightmares it fired,
She supposed that was why she'd wanted to share a tent with Hamin. It would mean she wouldn't be alone, that someone would be right beside her when she faced that fear.
Sandara stared up at the sky, the endless stars, the twisting galaxies. The word looked entirely different from upside down. It was disorientating.
She let out another sigh. "Give me five more minutes," she whispered into the air, letting the breeze carry it away.
@☾ Jaejoong She relaxed, hoping that things would be better now. "I-I'm sorry about the kiss." She said shyly. Sura didn't lift her face to look at him, a firm blush gracing her cheeks. The younger girl was suddenly smiling happily, hugging him once again. She nodded in agreement, sighing happily. Good thing she had eaten before she left. "Tell me about what's happened since I've left."
@☼ Sura Jaejoong truly thought that that was the end of their conversation so as he almost finished wrapping the cloth around his face, but he was wrong. Suddenly he saw Sura walk closer to him and felt her pull the cloth away from his mouth causing him to try and speak. " Miss Sura I h-" but those words never came to be when he felt her cup his face and press her lips to him. Standing there with his eyes widened slightly he looked at her in shock before he felt her face press to his chest. To be honest Jaejoong had no clue what he should do or even say he was still rather shocked that she had kissed him. So gently he placed his hand on her head and d her hair gently. He would at least grant her that final request, why harm could come from it anyway? "Fine... We can stay here tonight, but before sunrise you return back to your people and I to mine..." he mumbled and looked up at the starry night sky as he exhaled another soft breath of air.
@☾ Jaejoong She sniffled, leaning into his hands. She looked at him, watching him as he kissed her hand. "I don't know if I might return, but I know we will see each other again." She watched him dress, and for a fleeting moment she didn't want him to leave. Stepping closer she uncovered his face, cupped his cheeks, and stood on the tip of her toes to press a kiss to his lips. When she pulled away she hugged the other, burying her face into his chest. "Can't we just stay here for the night, like we used to?" She asked, remembering the times they would stay up all night. "Please..I don't want to go back yet." Sura knew she could never go back to the nomad clan. It was too merciless for her. She wanted kindness, not just protection.
@☼ Sura Jaejoong couldn't even say anything, she made no sense to him. How could he leave his family behind? How could he just get up and leave them without a word? He couldn't wouldn't leave them, they were his family after all. Shaking his head and sighing, jaejoong found himself sinking back to his normal calm self to deal with how frustrated he was and relaxed as he looked down at the girl who was now sniffling as she spoke to him. " Your right, maybe I'm the child out of the two of us, maybe I am the closed minded one, but I refuse to abandon my family... hard times and good times they have always for me and I refuse to throw it all in their face and leave them... I may be quick to judge and I may be a cruel man, but I also know where my loyalties lie and that is with them... I refuse to disrespect them and run off to another tribe... I was born a nomad... and I will die one... I won't follow you can to your tribe with your new family... because there is not a home of mine... " He whispered and gently wiped her tears away, " What you do with your life, is your choice, our decisions define who we are and who we will become Miss Sura..." Gently taking her hand he gave it a soft kiss before looking at her, "but if you ever do choose to return, I will glad welcome with open arms because I don't believe this is farewell for us." he spoke soothingly as he let her hand go, " Goodnight Miss Sura, enjoy your celebration..." he mumbled softly and wrapped the cloth around his head once more to only leaving his eyes uncovered as he put his cloak back on
@☾ Jaejoong Sura hated how he twisted her words and actions like that. It made her angrier more than anything. "I told you that I was leaving! I asked you to come with me but you said no! Imagine how I must have felt Jaejoong, you abandoned me the moment I needed you most. If you love me as much as you claim you do you would have come with me!" She shouted, feeling anger pulsing in every vein of hers. "You don't even know how it is over here yet you're so quick to judge. No matter what I say about it you'll make it seem bad. If I say it's good you'll just say it's la la land and that I'm living a fantasy. If I say it's difficult then you'll use that as an excuse to say that they're not caring for me properly. And I'm acting like a child? You're the one who's throwing a temper tantrum just because I decided that clan wasn't the clan for me. I love you. You treated me kindly and were almost always there for me. But if this is how you're going to act then maybe I shouldn't have saved myself. I haven't been with anyone, haven't even had my first kiss, all because I was convinced it needed to be with you." She paused, walking right back up to him. She looked up at him, sniffling softly. "I'm sorry. Goodbye Jaejoong. You should find someone better if that's what you truly think of me."
@☼ Sura Of course seeing her cry hurt him, making her shed those tears hurt, but at the same time he was hurt, and hearing her defend them hurt more. seeing her walk off jaejoong shook his head and got up, walking after her were he grabbed her wrist and held on to it, not tight but enough to were she couldn't pull away. "I always bring you down? I do? I though I always worried about you, always looked out for you. " He said and turned her around to look at him. " Do you betray the ones you clam to trust and love? do you leave them because they choose their family over strangers?" He asked and frowned while his once emotionless expression turned into frustration as he looked at her. " I trusted you. I saw you leave that night, I watched leave that night, because i trusted that you would see how it was over there and come back. " He mumbled, " You talk about how you're almost an adult yet you act like a child, like life is all about fun and games and that's it. That you can just leave me behind and run away to la la land where everything is perfect, where everyone is nice and no one is mean to you and they just pretend like nothing bad happens... " He shook his head and let go of her wrist. " But according to you they treat you so much better, I guess I must of treated you terribly for you to just say to hell with you Jaejoong I don't need you anymore even though always check up on me." Sighing and shaking his head Jaejoong turned around and grabbed his cloth that was laying on the sand and dusted it off. " I guess I see where your loyalties lie... since according to you I was just never there for you and all I ever did was treat you badly...." he mumbled and sighed
@☾ Jaejoong ((Its okay that's what I had it as originally~))
Suras happiness faded away when she heard those words. She didn't reply, just simply went silent. Silence was her ultimate defense. She stood, tears forming in her eyes. Now she remembered why she left without telling him. This is how he acted back then, and it seems he hasn't changed. But she needed to speak, to defend her clan. To defend her leader. "I'm wearing this because I choose to, because I'd rather be half then die of a heat . They're actually kind to me Jaejoong. I don't have to fear getting left behind or getting captured because I've been stealing. I- I can't do this. I've been getting better. I'm happier, more talkative, braver. And you! You always have to bring me down and put me in my place because you think you know what's best for me!" Tears streamed down her face, and she paused to sob and try to wipe away her tears. "And to think that I had begun to love you. To think that I actually trusted you." She said, before she turned away and heading for the edge of the hill. "And for your information, I haven't met one person who even dared to attack me in this tribe. But I guess you wouldn't care about that, would you? Since everything is seemingly so much greener on this side. Maybe I am a fool. A fool for missing you and thinking about you at least once a day." She said, before she finally began to carefully go down the hill. She was ready to go back to her tent, or to Luhans. Or maybe she'd watch a few of the performances to make herself feel better.
@☼ Sura [ QAQ sorry bby I thought she left the nomads when she was 15 OTL ]
Seeing her pout once he explained to her that he would not be running off and leaving his only family to go play around and run wild and whatthey called over there 'free' Jaejoong of course only saw the nomads as the best way life, because of course that was the only life he knew, but he enjoyed structure and rules. He of course had freedom, he could wander about the desert and pretty much do as he please in moderation of course. "Seems like a delightful way of life, a group of people that are suppose to be taking care of you that can't even provide proper clothing for you seems lovely why didn't I leave the nomads with you? Leave clothing and my family behind seems like paradise Miss Sura." Of course Jaejoong was being sarcastic, he was still bitter about be betrayed by the women he was sitting with, she left the tribe she left his family to be with someone else's family. It hurt but he of course acted like it didn't bother the best he could. " Oh so they don't have ed men in paradise that don't try and attack half dressed women? Wow that's surely is a surprise isn't it..." He mumbled and shook his head. "Why are you pleading with me to go with you to the people pick over me and my family?" he asked as a hint of pain filled voice. " Why would I want to meet the people that you choose over the life you had that truly wasn't bad at all? Do they hold celebrations every time they find someone foolish enough to leave the people that truly cared about them? When they find someone who can be fooled by what they choose to show you. Oh look what we have look what we do that your |family| doesn't. Look how much better we are compared to where you are now. Let's run wild and frolic threw the desert together singing and dancing about how you betrayed the people that protected you and then just for the hell of it try getting someone else to come with you and then if they tell you not to go and try and get you to stay where you are, just leave them and come over to our side where the grass is always greener..." he mumbled looked at her with a face filled with complete and utter betrayal before looking away from her and shaking his head.
@☾ Jaejoong ((Sorry to correct you but it's only been about a year or two))
She pulled away, frowning slightly at the cold expression. Immediately she looked down, expecting to be scolded. Gently she leaned into his hand, pouting ever so slightly when he said he would not be coming to live in her clan. Then what was he doing so close? She blushed and laughed softly at that, pulling her shirt more firmly around herself. "It's too hot in the desert to wear much more. And I'm not a little girl any more, soon I will be an adult." She said proudly, happy with herself. "I was wearing a skirt earlier but it got dirty, I have to wait until we get more clothes in my size or until it is cleaned." She explained, saying that she didn't wear just this. Climbing off of him she sat next to him on her knees, brushing hair out of his face and gently touching his cheek. "Don't worry though. I still have my purity." She said, as if it was a normal thing to converse about. She even lifted her shirt slightly to show the band around her thigh as proof. Suddenly a thought came to her. "Even if you are not here to stay you must see one of our celebrations. They're amazing!" She said, spinning around once. "You get to watch people dance, sing, listen to stories, and much more! And the feast! Oh, the feast!" She was practically swooning at the thought. "Please come Jaejoong. Please?" She said, getting on her knees besides him once more and clasping her hands together with a pleading expression.
