@Yoon Jeonghan (R) “If you believe in karma you should be careful of what words leave your mouth,” Hyungseok said and tilted his head. “Because whoever is high might fall deep.” He looked at Jeonghan, not saying anything in a threatening way. He was no one to get involved, not at all. “It might not be them being stepped on but you or the rest of the royalty,” he added and sighed. He then ate a little bit more. Jeonghan was arrogant and ignorant and he wasn’t sure what was worse – but aside from that he was an interesting fellow so it got Hyungseok curious enough to stay. And aside from that the food really was good.
“I am no one to judge someone’s outer appearance. It is the personality and the actions they take I judge,” Hyungseok said and shrugged a bit. Crumbs on his bears was what Jeonghan found disgusting? The young pirate wished he had the same worries as the young royal. But life had been rather hard to him, he had changed his priorities faster than he had been able to realize it.
He looked surprised at the other when he heard his words. The crown prince. Ah, he could have guessed that if he had paid some more attention.
“What will you change that will let you go through a living hell?” he sighed slightly. Surely, the people of Hesna were probably more satisfied with the leading than other kingdoms – Ferric was a kingdom that was surprisingly satisfied with its Empress but Ferric was also a place Hyungseok did not want to return too.
A soft chuckle left Hyungseok’s lips. “I can’t judge that but the food here is definitely great.” He smiled warmly and then blinked, tilting his head. “I am not from here,” he then said and tilted his head. “Actually… this it the first time that I’ve been staying here in Hesna for a few weeks.” He hummed and shrugged. “It isn’t as horrible as in other kingdoms but… there are still quite many people that are homeless and do not seem happy. I’ve seen a few orphanages that look pretty worn out.” He sighed. “Which is sad because when you are going to be a king they’ll be either dead or beggars cause no one gave them the opportunity to get tuition.” He shrugged slightly. “There are many things I think of the government. But I can’t judge too much about Hesna yet.”
@Park Hyungseok (P) Jeonghan nodded as in agreeance with what Hyungseok mentioned about people paying a high price for treating him in a horrid way. Jeonghan could get behind the “Making them pay” Bandwagon. “I believe in Karma and most people get their just deserves.” He said as he sipped his drink. Good thing he deserved the world, or at least he thought he did. His thoughts were however interrupted when the other mentioned the silver spoon, a smirk appearing on his lips. “When I need their qualities I will reflect on my words and treat them as they deserve. But while they are people on the ground, waiting to be stepped on because they are too fearful to rise above expectation, they will be nothing more than a peasant.” Those were his words before eating some other dish near his.
His chewing slowed when Hyungseok chuckled, his brow raised. “Disgusting? I guess I could understand. Have you seen the old duke of Hesna? Fat and disgusting. He always has crumbs on his beard.” He added, knowing that’s not why Hyungseok would consider them disgusting. “But as for what the peasants might think disgusting...I can also understand.” He flipped his hair. “I am very satisfied with myself and up to now they are satisfied with our leading. Of course once I turn into a king, well…..Things will be different” He then turned serious, sipping his drink once more. “.....I might enjoy myself like this, but once that crown sits atop my head, I am aware of the hell I will go through and I will walk through the scalding fire with my head held high. I will be a king among kings.” With that comment, he let the young man before him know who he truly was. Not just any regular noble but the crowned prince.
His eyes zeroed in on the young man as he ate and complimented the food. “Yes, it really is. The food here tastes much better than in the castle.” He said, leaning back as he chewed. “And I think you’re interesting enough up to now. Do eat though….Fill yourself up and take the rest.” He waited for a moment. “You know, since you can’t tell me who you are, how about you tell me what exactly you think of the government.” He raised a brow, curious.
@Yoon Jeonghan (R) “No worries, I do make them pay quite a high price to treat me like this,” Hyungseok said and nodded. But not only him, whoever he saw getting treated like that got some nice punishment – they deserved it after all. He never killed anyone, no, that wasn’t his style, but he would make them remember what they did. He wouldn’t let them forget it.
He smiled slightly and tilted his head. “They get what they deserve.” But not only with such s. When he met poor and hungry people he made sure they would get something to eat and maybe a few more pennies to get themselves a place to stay for a night or something. Maybe that was weird for a pirate but Hyungseok had left his crew a few months ago.
“Well, but it isn’t their fault to not be born with a silver spoon as well. Some of them have some qualities you might need one day, don’t call them names you might regret one day,” he said, shrugging slightly. He honestly didn’t mind. If Jeonghan called them peasant, called him peasant, he didn’t care, but he knew there were some people out there that easily got offended by such a mouth no matter how talented they were. Jeonghan needed to be careful around them.
A small chuckle left Hyungseok’s lips and he shook his head amused. “Probably, you seem smart enough but not everyone wants to climb the social ladder. Some find royals disgusting and sometimes I can understand them,” he admitted and tilted his head slightly. “As long as you are satisfied with yourself and your town is satisfied with its leading you don’t have anything to worry about, right?” Aside for the pirates and bandits but that was another problem for another day.
He watched the food being served and blinked at how much it already was. He then nodded and smiled slightly. “Thank you,” he said and slowly started eating. It really tasted good, he had to admit that. It had been quite a while since he had last eaten something warm. “It really is delicious,” he said and smiled slightly. “Well, we will see if I am interesting enough for you,” he chuckled amused and took a sip from his juice which caused him a warm smile on his lips. He had always loved juice.
(Nuuuu I am not <3 I promised you, no pressure or trouble x3)
@Park Hyungseok (P) Jeonghan smiled at Hyungseok and his response, he was amused and rather pleased that the other agreed with him. “Well, if they are rude and force themselves at you, I’m sure you use those skills you used earlier to make them pay. As you should.” He nodded, enjoying the smile the other had. In all honesty, the only reason Jeonghan had taken the trouble to invite the other to eat, besides the obvious, was that he was a very gorgeous young man and his mysterious past had him interested.
“People need to learn how to speak. At least to those in their station” He gave another nod before proceeding to order Hyungseok’s orange juice, as he had commented on wanting one. Such a waste, Jeonghan thought. Here he was ordering everything on the menu to Hyungseok could try it all and he settled for a simple orange juice. Commoners really were strange. “It is not my fault that they were not born with a silver spoon in their mouths. Peasants suit them just fine.”
He leaned back, smirking. “And if I had been born without the blessing of being a royal, I would have probably found a way to climb the social ladder.” He pointed to his head, tapping his temple. “I’m not just gorgeous, I’m also smart my dear Hyungseok.” He smiled at him and watched as the server began to bring them foods for the table, sampler plates littering the space of two tables. “Please help yourself to anything and everything. This apparently is what was already made.” He looked around and took a bit of the roasted duck, winking at the server before looking to the other. “I think if I’m interested enough by the end of this….I might find us a private place for the both of us to speak” He smirked and bit into the duck, his lips. “Try this.”
@Yoon Jeonghan (R) “No. It is rather the fact that people either force themselves upon me or just show me pure rudeness. It is usually either one of those,” Hyungseok said with a neutral tone while looking around, a small smile on his lips. It was a fact – and not Jeonghan’s fault at all anyways. “But you are right, not many yhave the balls to speak up their mind anymore.” He sighed and tilted his head, looking back at the pretty face Jeonghan had. He surely would look good in clothes for princes but he also looked amazing in his dress.
“I can tell you if we are at a safe place and not such a public place as this is. After all there might be someone overhearing our conversation,” Hyungseok explained. “And I really do not want to get executed at such a young age.” Even though many people died by some diseases at this age. It was a harsh time to be alive anyways.
“It is a blessing but it is rude to choose your own meal if you are treated. And even though I might not be the kindness in person I really do not want to appear rude.” He smiled slightly at Jeonghan. “Aside from this, I think I would be pretty overwhelmed with the choice of food after all.” The last thing he had eaten had been dry bread so it was no wonder. Being a pirate could be pretty harsh as well.
“The peasants? What a nice way to describe commoners that do not have the blessing of being born as a royal,” Hyungseok said almost amused and shook his head with a smile on his lips.
He then listened to Jeonghan’s words. The other obviously liked to choose too much – being a royal must be nice for some and being able to choose whatever they wanted was something royals could count to advantages. He still knew there were many disadvantages still.
He then blinked and nodded. “I’d like to have some orange juice,” he said softly and bowed slightly. He did not need something fancy, he just wanted to enjoy some juice. He hadn’t had anything like this for a long while now.
(Nahhh <3 no stress and trouble x3 your replies are always good!)
@Park Hyungseok (P) Jeonghan smiled as he remembered Hyungseok agreed with him about the stutter. His eyes scanning the other as he looked down to his menu. “You are not used to people calling you as such, because of how no one has the balls to speak out their mind anymore” He said with confidence, looking through the meals, telling the server to give them a moment. He knew they already had a meal planned for him but he needed time before telling them they could make it.
He looked up to Hyungseok, raising a brow as he his lips and then turned back to his menu. “A big wanted poster.” He repeated as he wondered who exactly this man was and he was determined to find out. “You can tell me after you have finished a meal” He closed the menu and shot the young man a sharp glance. “What do you mean? Can’t you choose a meal yourself?” He asked with a raised brow. “Don’t you know, it’s a blessing to eat. It’s more of a blessing to be able to choose your own damn food.” He sighed and held out the menus for the server.
“You’re probably not used to such meals though. I forget that the peasants don’t eat meals like us” He said as he flipped his hair and gave the waitress the menus. “I don’t want the usual.” He nodded as she looked confused, wondering why he would change his mind. “Instead, I want you to bring that table over here and make one large table. I then want one of everything you can make us.” He watched as the woman opened her eyes wide with surprise. “Well? Make sure the meals are all cooked properly and tell the chef that as always I’ll make sure he’s rewarded handsomely” He smirked and gave the woman a wink. “Oh and bring me my regular drink. That I will have.” He turned to Hyungseok. “What about you? At least pick our your own drink”
@Yoon Jeonghan (R) (It is super nice so no worries x3)
Hyungseok blinked and ended up laughing when Jeonghan said he was more lovely.
"No, you didnt stutter," Hyungseok said and shook his head amused.
"But I am not used to people call me anything like this." Surely, people often tried to get in his pants but that was something else. That were no compliments, it were rude tries of flirting or people shoving him into walls to cage him. But luckily Hyungseok knew how to kick balls properly and he would never stop doing so. These s deserved it so much. The last one that had tried to touch him the wrong way had ended up unconscious in some corner - Hyungseok was usually someone that easily pitied people but not such guys. Never.
"I think so," Hyungseok then nodded and hummed, his lips. He sighed when the other stated there was probably a wanted poster for him out there.
"A big wanted poster," Hyungseok said and sighed. Surely it made the other curious but stating things in public was something he was careful about. "I shouldnt spill any more words here, the wrong people might here it," he said and blinked when Jeonghan patted the woman on her bum but she didnt really seem to mind it.
"Well, I might tell you more but not in a dangerous place like here." There could always be someone hunting for his face.
"Uh... why dont you order for me? You are paying for it so you should choose," he said and looked at the menu. He wasnt used to pick his own food. At least not when he was invited to some place that seemed to be quite expensive.
@Park Hyungseok (P) Jeonghan smirked as the other softly answered to his remark about half assing things, his gait not slowing as he continued towards the cafe. He was amused with the young man and more than anything curious as to whom he might truly be. Jeonghan paused only to look towards him, raising a brow as he mumbled a question about his statement that the young man was pretty. "Did I stutter? No, right?" He nodded and motioned for him to continued walking after him. "I do find you pretty. It's rather refreshing to find other men with the same attributes of beauty as my own. Of course, I'm much more lovely." He stated without remorse as they were reaching the cafe.
His eyes brightened up as the other did say the dresses and feminine customs suited him, a smirk on his lips as he noticed the other was embarrassed. "Of course it does. Most things suit me." He said as he began to turn to him, eyeing him a bit before nodding. "Ferric, traveler, possibly there's a wanted poster for you out there. Got it." He smirked a bit, adding the last to see if he could get a reaction out of him. "I can accept that, but I have to say it makes me....Curious." He moved into the cafe, greeting the server with a kiss and a pat on her bum, she seemed embarrassed but in a good way. They were then showed to his usual table, where he took a seat and sat as proper as possible, motioning for him to sit across from him. "And when I want something, be it information or a possession, I always get it." He smiled and motioned to the menu. "For being a brave man, I'll pay for your meal and drink. Go ahead and order whatever you'd like." He already knew what the server would bring him for food and drink, his usual, so the rest was really up to Hyungseok.
@Jeonghan (R) "I dont half things anyways," Hyungseok said softly while following the other, still not entirely sure what to think of him. He looked different than the people from town but he was also different from any royal he had met before. It made him even more curious but he was not sure how much he should ask.
"Uh? Oh." He made small sounds and nodded then. A meal. The other was inviting him for a meal. That was something he hadnt gotten as a thank you, ever. He then blinked surprised when Jeonghan called him pretty. "You find me pretty?" he mumbled, more to himself than to Jeonghan.
"Oh. It suits you," he then whispers, a bit embarrassed. He hadnt wanted to offend the other, he was just curious. It was not too often that he met a guy that liked wearing clothes that were originally made for women but seemed comfortable with his body. But somehow Hyungseok liked it. "You look good in that."
A frown appeared when Jeonghan asked the next question.
"I am from Ferric. But some things shouldn't be spoken out loud," he said softly. "For now I am just a traveler buying some nice things," he then said and smiled slightly, hoping Jeonghan would be okay with that for now.
(Awwww I am glad you do! I really like the way you write Jeonghan!)
@Park Hyungseok (P) Jeonghan seemed somewhat pleased with his answer. "Next time remember to either jump at the chance quick or not at all. Never half anything, Hyungseok" He said with a smirk as he continued walking, hearing the other mutter his name. "Yes, Jeonghan. You can call me Han in short." He continued walking, scoffing slightly as the other asked why. "Why? Well I'm thanking you, so I'll invite you to have a meal." He smirked. "You look pretty and I enjoy pretty things, places and people....So I can be seen with you" He flipped his hair as they walked, Jeonghan leading Hyungseok to his favorite cafe.
It wasn't until they were halfway there that he noticed Hyungseok's question and raised a brow. "Why? What kind of question is that?" He his heel and gave Hyungseok a look. "Why do you wear those clothes or comb your hair that way? Because you like it? Because it makes you feel comfortable?" He asked but it sounded more like a statement. "I wear a dress because it's pretty and I like it." He said in a very factual manner. He then turned and continued walking to the cafe. "Now, answer my question. Who are you and where did you learn to fight like that?" He asked, grace with every step he took.
@Jeonghan (R) Hyungseok had expected everything but not this reaction. It was rude, somehow, but aside from that it was honest and it somehow took him by surprise.
"Not long," he then blinked. "I immediately took action." He pouted a bit - how unfriendly to scold someone that had just wanted to help someone. But, well, people were like that and he could not change it.
At least they both were alive and that was most important.
From close up and with his angry voice it was easy to realize that the other was a man. A damn hot and adorable man but a man nevertheless. Considering the clothes he either had lots of money or was a noble - probably both.
"Jeonghan?" Somewhere Hyungseok thought he remembered the name but he could not quite pinpoint it after all. Maybe later he would remember it.
Surprised he blinked when Jeonghan walked passed him and blinked confused when the other asked if he was coming.
"Eh? Why?" But then he discarded this question. "I mean, surely, I am on my way!" And with this he followed Jeonghan.
The other did not seem much older than him but he really was handsome. A bit rude, maybe, but handsome nevertheless. Then he realized something. "But why are you wearing a dress?" He tilted his head. Was it to hide his real identity? Then, who was he?
@Park Hyungseok (P) Jeonghan had held his arms up to defend himself, but he never really felt a hit or the battle as a flash of steel caught his attention and a young man stepped out of the shadows to fight the two brutes. His eyes widened as he saw how fast the young man moved, like lightning he thought. “Hey, kid! Watch out!” he called out as he stood and stepped out of the way, taking a moment to see the one that had fallen onto the ground and pretty much kick him in the ribs. er wouldn’t get up after that. Once he looked up from him, he noticed that the young man had finished the other and was currently preoccupied with making sure Jeonghan was alright.
The young prince took a moment to fix his hair and dress, dusting it off. “Am I ok?” He asked incredulous as he walked past him and towards the other brute. “You see this dress? It’s imported from Pyrope! How dare you!” He kicked him as well, hissing slightly to get his anger out. He then turned towards the young man, glaring. “And you! How long did you watch before you jumped into help? You should have either done it beforehand so my dress wouldn’t get ruined…” He said before stepping up to the young man and squaring off a bit. “Or you should have let me handle it. I’m tougher than I look. But not just let me fall for nothing.” He flipped his hair and stared at him a bit longer in silence before simply turning scoffing lightly. “Hyungseok.” He said quietly, thinking about it before nodding. “My name is Yoon Jeonghan.” He said simply and began to walk past him. “I guess even if you were a twerp, I should thank you.” He was quiet as he said this before looking back. “Well, are you coming?” He asked before continuing to walk, wanting to buy him a meal.
@Jeonghan (R) Hyungseok was too far away to understand what the people were saying. He could see how these s of men got closer to the smaller framed person and it made Hyungseok angry. Often had he seen people doing this but never had he let such idiots get away unpunished. He couldn’t understand why people did this – surely, the pay people got from work often wasn’t enough but robbing defenseless people? That was disgusting. He was about to rush forward when he saw the smaller frame break one of the idiot’s arm – that was a nice move. But then he or she got attacked by this s and Hyungseok had to rush forward.
Of course the pirate was at least more than one head smaller than the attackers but he was fast and he knew how to knock them out. He used a box to jump from it and hit one of the guys with the back of his dagger, knocking him out right away. He might be an idiot when it came to fighting with fists but he definitely knew how to knock people out. He had been a pirate for years but never had he ever killed, instead he had knocked the people out. He couldn’t just kill people even though this world was reckless and others would surely not hesitate and sell his life to get what they wanted but never had Hyungseok been like this and even know he wouldn’t.
“Look out,” he called to the other person – it looked like a young, beautiful woman but there was something Hyungseok had seen somewhere before but he couldn’t quite pinpoint it. He then reached out to the still conscious man. He was an idiot with fists but no one had said legs weren’t allowed to use so while the huge guy tried to reach for them he just kicked him right in the crotch. Whining like a little baby he stumbled backwards and Hyungseok used the situation to get between him and the attacked one.
“You better get your friend and get your out of here,” he hissed, his dagger shining brightly in the sun. “If I see you again I am going to cut your and feed it to you!” That obviously only made the guy angrier as he was rushing towards them, head red and eyes filled with anger.
“You are going to pay for that kick, kiddo,” the man hissed and in blind anger he rushed towards them. It was way too easy. Taking a step aside made the male run into the wall and knocking his knees away only made him hit the wall even harder. With a last move Hyungseok knocked the male out who sank to the ground defenseless. It was not very heroic but he couldn’t spill blood, especially not here.
“Are you okay?” he then asked the other, looking up at most likely “her”. “Did they hurt you?” He worried and tilted his head, hoping that the other was okay. He really didn’t want such s to hurt an innocent and pure person as the other seemed to be. “I am Hyungseok,” he then said and bowed slightly. At least he had some manners left.
@Park Hyungseok (P) Today had been one of those days that Jeonghan had felt the need to.../escape/ his surroundings at the castle. To not be tied with a follower or guard. He simply wanted time to think and unwind from all the politics and worry in the castle, so he did as he usually would and after a nice bath, he dried off and took to his disguise. He dressed in a lovely gown he had received from overseas. It was beautiful and complimented his complexion and hair. With expert movements he also applied soft makeup and pinned up his hair and he contemplated himself in the mirror. He had to admit, he looked just like his mother.
Not long passed before he simply made his way out through secret passageways and soon enough he was out on the street, heading towards the market. He liked to hear his heels clicking on the cobblestone streets, it was y in his mind be it from him or another woman. “I wonder if they brought new merchandise for me to purchase.” He wondered as he walked through the market and looked through the wares. He payed little to no mind to the occasional whistles or even the offers some of the merchants made to him, all fooled by his disguise.
He didn’t get far into the market though, as he noticed some men following him and with a small muttered curse, he headed towards an alley, not wanting to knock them out in front of everyone and being discovered. Once he was far into the alley, he turned to them and crossed his arms over his chest, speaking and not hiding his normal tone as his voice was often soft enough to be considered a woman’s and only became deep when he was filled with emotion. “Who the /hell/ do you two brutes think you are? Following me around! Do you want me to stab your eye out with my heel, because I can do it before you can recite the first sentence of Hesna’s hymn.” He hissed, angry as one of them began to speak to him in a harsh tone, telling “Her” to calm down and simply give them all his jewelry and his purse. Oh hell no. OH HELL NO! This was his and they were not robbing him. He would sooner see their heads on pikes before he would allow them to have ANY of his . Yes, he was a greedy prince.
He began to make shooing motions to them, as if they were vermin. “Shoo shoo, go away. I don’t have time for either of you” He said as one of them got closer and grabbed his arm. God, he could smell the stink on his breath and gagged before grabbing his hand and twisting it, making sure bone broke. He could see the surprise on the mans face mixed with pain as he went to try and do it again, when the other man caught him by surprise and grabbed him by the hair and threw him against a wall, causing him to lose his breath. “S-!” He yelped as he glared at the two gross smelly brutes. He looked around to try and see just how he could defeat both of them, but he had been too far the streets for anyone to notice. , this was going to be bloody. He tried to stand but noticed his heel had broken and his nostril flared as he glared at them. “You’re going to pay for thi--ACK!” His hands shot up to try and defend himself as they both lunged at him.
@Jeonghan (R) The market was full and the air pretty dry. Hyungseok had just bought whatever he had needed: some food, some seasoning, a few new clothes and a book he had been craving to buy for a while and now that he had saved up enough money he had been able to.
With a bright smile he was making his way through the town, trying his best to avoid all the big crowds – which was pretty hard as Hesna was in the center of Silvatica so the big markets had quite some popularity and therefore many people came to visit. A soft sigh escaped Hyungseok’s pretty lips as someone bumped into him for the nth time, the young pirate had stopped counting it. Instead he made sure that he kept his wallet and his newly bought clothes with him. Even though Hesna had many soldiers they were mostly concentrated and trained to find bandits and not pirates – but as having been a pirate himself for quite a few years Hyungseok could recognize a handful of faces. And while the soldiers were busy with catching some bandits those would snatch away all the precious money.
Hyungseok had decided to go through the alleys when he heard someone speaking. It was a loud voice – a disgusting one, it was easy for the young boy to notice that whoever was speaking had no good intentions. He frowned and slowly walked towards the opening of the alley. He was able to see two huge men that were standing in front of someone else – he wasn’t able to recognize the face or the person but he could easily see that it was a really beautiful person. He bit his lip, fingers tightly around his daggers. He was a failure when it came to fist fights but he was awesome in archery and even better in kicking butts with his daggers. If this turned out to be some harassment or even worse he wouldn’t hesitate to cut those s . When it came to such things Hyungseok had no pity at all.
