"Hurry up, slowpoke!" Rui urged, grabbing onto her brother's wrist and pulling him along when he was walking too slow. At this time of night, the park was relatively quiet - the only sounds being crickets and other creatures of the night. Her bag slipped down her arm, breaking the contact like a kid in a game of Red Rover and she cursed lowly while crouching to pick it up. Laughing, Haru beat her to the punch and scooped up the bag before grabbing her wrist so she wouldn't walk so fast.
"Yah, calm down. The tree'll still be there even if we go slow," he said while shouldering the brightly colored Hime-chan no Ribbon bag. "Why are we even rushing like this?"
A pout settled on Rui's face as she was forced to walk at a normal pace toward their destination. "Because I have to show you something." And she just left it at that. They two of them continued walking in radio silence until they reached their favored tree. Rui didn't even have to ask for a boost as Haru's hands were already interlocked, waiting for her foot.
"Eyy, such a good brother," she grinned and scratched under his chin like a puppy before stepping up and grabbing onto the lowest branch. She hoisted herself up into the tree and scooted over toward the trunk so Haru had enough space to get up as well. Once they were both settled, Rui held a hand out for her bag. He handed it over, only letting go when it was securely in her hands so he wouldn't have to get back down and retrieve it if it dropped.
"Okay, we're here. What do you have to show me, butthead?" he asked with an uninterested voice, eyes on the moon that reflected in the nearby pond. In reality, he was always eager to hear whatever his little sister was excited about, but if he outwardly showed that emotion, she'd never let him live it down. He only glanced over at her when she was too quiet and found her rummaging through her bag. When she finally found what she was looking for, she grinned and whipped them out of the bag, holding them up for the male to see.
"Ta-da~ It's friendship bracelets!" She dangled the pieces of woven fabric in her hand before gesturing for her brother to hand over his wrist. "Or sibling bracelets," she added while tying one around his wrist, making sure it wasn't too tight. "We're both so busy lately, but you're not allowed to forget your favorite person, got it? We're all each other's got."
Haru chuckled at the childish gesture and shook his head increadulously. "Got it," he responded, holding up his hand to admire the handiwork. "Did you make these yourself?"
"Yep," Rui responded, holding her braclet out in a silent request to have it put on her. "I stayed up an extra hour every night this week" she said, leaving out the fact that the particularly rough week he'd had before was what spurred her on. "All for my puppy, Haru. We have to be here for each other, y'know?"
Haru smmiled and nodded, making sure her bracelet was secure before reaching up to ruffle her hair. "I know."
@4ℒ Oliver Kwon I’m sorry Olly...I really am. Maybe...maybe if I hadn’t met Sunghoon and had Taek this would’ve been different
*smiles softly*
You’re a great guy. Wonderful even. I’m lucky to have a friend like you...and any girl that gets lucky enough to call you hers will surely be the luckiest girl of all.
@4ℒ Song Jieun {Sky} I know you still love him, but I just want to get this off my chest to tell how I feel because the guilty was eating for keeping this a secret
/smiles a little as I rub the back of my neck
I understand if you cannot love me back, but I'll always be there for you when you need me as your friend
@4ℒ Oliver Kwon Oh...
*blinks and looks down at Taekhoon before sighing, looking back up at you*
Oliver I-I’m sorry...I uh...I don’t think I can be with anyone...it wouldn’t be fair to them
*picks up Taekhoon and holds him*
I mean I have a son, it’s not about me anymore. He comes first and I can’t just bring anyone into his life as a father figure. Especially when he has a father who is very much involved in his life.
*sighs*
Besides it wouldn’t be fair to you...dating you I mean...not when I’m still in love with Taek’s father...
@4ℒ Song Jieun {Sky} /takes a deep breath and gives you a soft smile on my face
The truth is...I know you have been going through a lot, but just to let you know I'm in love you.
Shifting my camera in my hand I take a photo of a duck, leading a few other babies across the lake. Adjusting the brightness I take a few more enjoying the simple beauty of nature instead of having to deal with troublesome idols who sometimes didn't know what to do. Even models did that sometimes
Mumbling out loud
I don't wanna do photography of humans
@☀ Wong Kahei {Vivi} *hears my order being called and takes it, thanking the cook*
We can head over to the bench over there.
*bobs my head to an empty bench*
