@ᴊᴇᴏɴ ᴊᴜɴɢᴋᴏᴏᴋ ᵛ ( no no don't worry about mirroring it's all good!! )

the male in front of him was, without a doubt, handsome and if jimin wasn't so angry about everything, he most likely would've dropped a flirtatious notion or two. instead, he took a moment to really study the male in front of him. despite the event happening nearly 10 years ago, jimin's memory of the two males were still vivid in his head - and jungkook didn't seem to change one bit from it. he shouldn't be surprised really because the guy is a vampire after all.

which kinda made jimin curious - how old was this guy anyways? surely, vampires can live for several several years if they hadn't been taken out by a hunter or something.

"my apologies, but i believe you've me confused with somebody else. i'm no killer, haven't killed humans in the past 500 years. so my apologies to you, sir, but it's not me that you should be looking for."

jungkook's reply only made the fire in his chest spark as he growled quietly. "don't lie to me." he leaned closer, shimmering blue orbs narrowing as he stared the vampire down. "you were /there/ that ing night - don't you dare bull me. you and some other vampire, a fledgling i suppose. he seemed more wild than you were. but you were /there/. you helped kill my parents - my /family/! i had no left after that, do you understand me? because you and your little /friend/, i had no one and no place to go until the my hunter clan found me."

for a moment, jimin paused and leaned back a little, a fleeting thought of reason crossing his mind. he fell silent for a moment and observed the calm man in front of him. the fledgling seemed more wild back then so obviously, he was most likely a newly turned vampire. jimin could tell by the blown-out, wild eyes the male had and the messy spots of blood all over his clothes. jimin remembered seeing jungkook standing beside the other vampire, holding his arm firmly as if... holding him back from launching at jimin.

he didn't have a spec of blood on him.

"unless..." jimin's voice drifted off and the sharpness of his tone began to fade as he leaned away from the bars. "unless you actually /weren't/ the one responsible for their deaths. you seemed to be in control of your instincts and back then, you weren't covered in even the tiniest of blood unlike him." he pauses briefly and his expression hardened a little bit once more. "but still. you were there. you're held accountable in my book, at least. think long and hard on it, buddy, i'm sure you'll find that memory somewhere in that head of yours." the hunter turns away from him and walks back toward his bed and sitting down on it, hissing quietly at how cold it was as he curled back up into the blanket.

"when you remember, come visit me. it's not like i'm going anywhere any time soon. your coven is still making a decision on what they think they should do with me. honestly, i don't care if they kill me. i'm not living for anything or anyone so... what's the point."

@ᴘᴀʀᴋ ᴊɪᴍɪɴ ʰ // i don't mind about the length, just don't expect me to mirror please ahahah.

, he had so much work to get done. both with his company and at the coven -- looks like he'd be working from the coven today. he wasn't a fan of doing so, there were too many distractions going on there. but sometimes, he has to do what he doesn't want to do. unfortunately, it's a part of 'life'. it wasn't that big of a deal anyway, he really didn't mind. as long as he can get his work done in a timely matter, it didn't matter to him. so when he arrives at the main study, he begins to unpack his things among the large desk -- his computer, his sketchbook, and several notebooks, everything that he needed to begin working.

jungkook has a calm playlist playing from his computer, one that kept him calm and motivated him to get his done. he's humming along to it whilst leaning back against the chair, coloring in his sketches for what he envisioned for these designs. fashion week was coming up, and there was so much to do to prepare for it. he literally had no time to focus on anything else.

"jungkook?"

the male's voice, coming out of nowhere, was enough to make the male jump. "jesus, you scared me." "sorry to bother you. we caught a hunter trespassing earlier and he's awake. but he's demanding to see you. i don't know why - all he says is that he's got a bone to pick with you and that he'll be out once everything's settled. i will warn you know, the hunter - his nickname is hawkeye. have you heard of him? well, either way, don't let him out of that cell. it's a deathwish. anyways, he's in cell number 3. head on down when you have a moment to." he blinks as the other exits the office once more, and jungkook sets his sketchbook down with his brows knitted together. was that the kid that he'd seen earlier? had to be, there weren't any other prisoners anyway. was he supposed to know of the hunter? he's never heard of him, never kept up with any of that anyway. 'deathwish' sure, jungkook had been alive for -- a while. a long time. he was named one of the strongest vampires, and he surely lived by that name (even though it didn't matter to him).

was he supposed to be afraid? he questioned himself with a of his head as he stuffed his stuff back into his bag. the male wasn't afraid of anything, not of hunters, death, pain, etc. he knew how to protect himself. but why did this dude care to see him? or how did he know of him? jungkook had no grudges with anybody, not to his knowledge.

so he makes his way to the dungeon, whistling a light tune while doing so until he's settled before the cell. the male sets his bag down on the floor and stands before the other, arms crossed against his chest. 'you bloodsuckers are all the same,' he flinches. this kid didn't know a thing about him, how could he say such a thing. when he's finally finished talking, jungkook is just standing here, blinking for a few moments. "park jimin." he repeats, one of his fingers tapping against his lower lip. he really tries to think back, to find himself coming in contact with the name nine years ago. but there was nothing.

"my apologies, but i believe you've me confused with somebody else. i'm no killer, haven't killed humans in the past 500 years. so my apologies to you, sir, but it's not me that you should be looking for."

@ᴊᴇᴏɴ ᴊᴜɴɢᴋᴏᴏᴋ ᵛ ( btw if you're ever curious about jimin's actually appearance, this is the best image i could represent him! he's got blood-red hair and that's his hunter's outfit, plus a large flowing black hooded cape that'll wear, and he'll always have that black eyeliner on and stuff - the only difference is that jimin's eyes are clear sapphire blue c: )

jimin dreamed for the first time in 9 years when he was unconscious. he dreamed of his family. his mother, his father, and his older brother. he dreamt that they were still alive. he dreamt that his life wasn't the life he currently was living right now. that he was normal, /happy/, and content living in a large home and about to go to college. the dream was bittersweet. because even dream jimin knew that something was off. that this reality he was living just wasn't right.

so when jimin opened his eyes and saw the cell he was locked up in, he couldn't help but feel a tug at his heart strings. the boy could dream of a happier stable life. but that'd be it. just a dream, a wish - a fleeting hope lingering the darkness.

jimin soon discovered that he had been searched and all of his hidden daggers were gone and that someone, god knows who or /why/, had gone to the liberty of giving him a god damn pillow and a blanket. jimin's mind twisted with confusion. he trespassed on to their terrority and he was given a pillow and a blanket as he got locked up? that'd just odd - that seems like a tinge bit of mercy that was offered to him.

"so you're awake." a voice called out and jimin's blue eyes looked up to see a figure appearing at his cell doors. "hawkeye. yeah, i've heard about you. you're a skilled hunter. a good portion of me was hoping that i wouldn't run into a beast like you." way to swell jimin's ego. "but tell me... why were you trespassing here? don't you know that no humans are allowed on any coven's grounds?"

"i'm aware of that." the hunter scoffed and shifted on the bed so his back was pressed to the dirty, cold brick wall behind him. "but i'm here to... pay a /visit/ to a certain resident here." the vampire perked an eyebrow at him. "do you mind fetching someone named jeon jungkook around by chance?"

the vampire chuckled and folds his arms across his chest. "i don't think you're in any position to give an order here. you're locked up, hawkeye. and you're in a building /filled/ with vampires. so if i were you, i'd watch what i'm saying." he advised and turned to walk away but jimin spoke up before he could leave the dungeon.

"i have a bone to pick with that prick." jimin hissed angrily and leaned forward, pressing his elbows on to his knees. "just bring him here so we can talk and i'll be out of your ing hair in no time. got me?" the vampire shot him a look, eyes scanning jimin head to toe before sighing in defeat then leaving without a word. jimin smirked a little bit then leaned back once more, knowing that he had won their little petty argument and that the vampire was heading up to where jeon jungkook was to receive him. and he was right. the vampire left the dungeon and walked up several stairs before he reached the main halls of the coven building. there he kept walking and turning corners, going up a few more stairs until he reached the level he was looking for.

"jungkook?" the vampire called out as he gently knocked his knuckles against the opened office door. "sorry to bother you. we caught a hunter trespassing earlier and he's awake. but he's demanding to see you. i don't know why - all he says is that he's got a bone to pick with you and that he'll be out once everything's settled. i will warn you know, the hunter - his nickname is hawkeye. have you heard of him? well, either way, don't let him out of that cell. it's a deathwish. anyways, he's in cell number 3. head on down when you have a moment to." with that, the vampire bowed his head politely at the other male then walked away.

jimin remained sitting patiently in his cell, eyes scanning the entire room to study each detail. it was awfully cold in here and he was currently bundled up in the blanket but that didn't seem to quite do the trick. it was also quite dirty. in the other cells around him, they were all empty but had the similar few items in there just like his; a dirty make-shift bed, a bucket that served as a toilet, and a single chair with the occasional metal shackles hanging off of one of the walls. he even spotted a few bones lingering in on one of the cell floors.

he knows it's a dungeon but would it kill them to at least dust the damn place?

jimin's cell had a bit of a luxury-touch to it. he had a /window/. the only cell that had one, at least.

the hunter was so caught up in studying his surrounding, memorizing every little detail and mapping everything into his head, that he didn't even know someone was coming down the stairs into the dungeon until he heard the sound of heels clacking against the rough floor. jimin's eyes lifted from its intense stare-off with a barely flickering with life lightbulb hanging in the cell across from him when the outline of a figure came into view. it was him. the face he spent a minute memorizing so that he could recognize him right away.

"jeon jungkook." jimin purred softly, the slight smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as he shifted forward. the blanket falling off of his shoulders. the male stood up and slowly approached the bars, the light from the torches lining the walls around them making his own features more prominent to the vampire. he stepped closer to the bars until he raised one of his arms, leaning it against the rusted metal above his head and propped himself there with a quiet hum.

"my, my. you really didn't change a /single/ bit since i last you." his eyes raked him up and down slowly, an unimpressed tilt to his tone. "given, it wasn't that long - it's only been 9 years but i doubt you even recognize me or even care enough to remember what had happened. you bloodsuckers are all the same." his eyes swiftly lifted up to look into jungkook's eyes. it was an interesting contrast; bold red versus clear sapphire. "park jimin. you and some other vampire killed my family 9 years ago. does /that/ ring a bell?"

@ᴘᴀʀᴋ ᴊɪᴍɪɴ ʰ pro bono -- jungkook's coven, where he'd be surrounded by people just like him. it was... it was kind of like a place that he was able to call home. however, it wasn't a place that fell under the definition of home for him. he wasn't always there, it wasn't where his heart lay.. so where was his home? good question. it was a question that - perhaps - he would've been able to answer when he was little. but even then, how could he be so sure?

there was a lot that came with being in a coven: swearing to secrecy, keeping identities private, swearing to the good and fighting away the evil (in this coven, that is). the male couldn't help but wonder where things went wrong in the past, why there had to be a constant war between their type. why couldn't vampires live peacefully among vampires? then again, even humans couldn't live peacefully with each other. the world seemed to be falling apart day by day, but it wasn't anything surprising to the male. he's been alive for over one thousand and seventy years, and surely, he's observed the ups and downs of the state of this planet that people called earth.

and while jungkook hated what he was, he believed he'd accepted his fate with whom he was.

"he did what? dropped the sketches off where?" he had to watch his tone as he stepped through the empty halls, expensive shoes clacking upon the marble floors. with his past, he believed that he would make a good leader to this coven and well, with the elections coming up, jungkook was careful of the words he used, how he acted around others -- he wanted to win. he wanted this. nothing had seemed to go right in this life, but maybe this could begin to change that. maybe there was some hope for the good in life.

"yeah, okay. i'll - just, bring him to my office. i'll be on the wa --- hey, i'll call you back."

jungkook's brows knit together and he halts after making the few steps out the large front doors. who's horse was this? "hi," he murmurs quietly, reaching out for the loose reigns before his free hand extends to gently the horses muzzle in attempt to calm it down. "shh, where's your owner? did you run from them?" perhaps he was crazy for talking to a horse when he knew it wouldn't be able to answer him, but this... never happened. he takes his time to observe his surroundings, only then hearing a few muffled laughs from afar. with his grip still around the reigns, the male leads the horse a few minutes away where there was a water and hay stand, soon tying the horse to it so that it could eat and drink.

he begins to follow the voices that soon become clear with each step closer: it was the security. while this coven stood for the good, the security could be.... quite harsh. jungkook follows quietly behind them: of course, they were vampires. all senses are 20943823409 times sharper than a humans, but jungkook was old, he knew how to be incredibly quiet, so even the best couldn't hear his movement. he's pressed against a side of the large mansion to hide away from them, hears a thud, some curses, and he's holding his breath as the guards make their way outside once more.

jungkook waits until they're visibly gone before slipping in and stepping to the cell, where he raises a brow at the sight. a hunter? clearly passed out. human -- yep, he could smell it. perhaps this was the horses owner? huh. no wonder he was brought here. he then realizes that this kid could wake up anytime and try to kill him and well -- yeah, he wasn't dying a thousand years ago, he isn't gonna die now. so he steps out and finds the guards, ordering for them to ice his head if needed, and to bring a pillow and a blanket to... make his stay more comfortable. if that was even possible. he's also sure to find somebody to look over the horse, because having such a big animal upon the land of bloodthirsty vampires that mainly feed off of --- animals.. wasn't the smartest idea.

then he's off to his office.

@ᴊᴇᴏɴ ᴊᴜɴɢᴋᴏᴏᴋ ᵛ [ plot: which side will you choose? / taken by jungkook ]

when jimin was 9 years old, he heard rumors about 'the ones with red eyes and sharp teeth' in his school. at the time, he was too young to understand what that really meant or implied; his mind too preoccupied with the thought of dinosaurs once roaming the earth and how many teeth a t-rex had. when he heard the rumors, he scoffed. he scoffed at their stupidity, their naive-ness to such a myth. he scoffed at just how easy they were.

vampires only existed in legend, after all.

when jimin was 10 years old, he lost his parents. he came home from his first day at school in a brisk but bright September afternoon; bookbag bouncing on his back as he ran down the driveway. various colored leaves dancing and skidding around his Sketchers as he skipped along the pavement towards the front door. right away, jimin had sensed something was wrong. his parents were /always/ waiting at the top of the driveway for him to return home from school. but they weren't there. so he ran to his house and flew open the door, shouting for his mother and father. he searched the livingroom. nothing. he searched the kitchen. stopped dead in his tracks. oh, his mother and father were there alright.

but they were dead.

two figures stood over the corpses of his parents. one whose eyes were so blown and black as they stared the young boy down, with blood dripping down his chin and covering his mouth. the other male didn't have a spec of blood on him and he seemed vaguely troubled by the young boy standing there in terror. he knew right away that they had killed his parents - the bite marks on his parents' necks proved it. and when he got taken in by his hunter clan a few weeks later, jimin made it a personal goal of his to hunt those two vampires down.

his hatred towards the blood-thirsty creatures started the day he began his training. from taekwondo, to kung fu, to brazilian jiu-jitsu, he mastered every level of some of the most powerful forms of combat before he worked on his mastery on the bow and arrow. when it came to that weapon, at a point of time when one joins the hunter clan, they sort of have a little... ritual, if you would call it. it would like a 'coming of age' party except a table of various styles and types of weapons would be laid out for you to choose. the weapon you would choose if the weapon you'd train your hardest to master, until your fingers and feed would bleed. when he chose the bow arrow, his leaders seemed surprised - apparently, that choice of weapon wasn't a very popular choice.

guess the others preferred the viking style over the stealth style.

since then, jimin spent months training with the bow and arrow. he learned to hit moving targets while he's moving himself. he learned to his targets while being blindfolded. he was a prodigy in the way of bow and arrow, so talented and powerful that he earned the nickname 'hawkeye' due to his pristine keenness and accuracy.

now, 9 years later after his parent's death, he /finally/ got a lead. it was a bit of a long story (jimin may or may not have broken some hunter rules but we'll keep that under the low for now) but long story short; he got a name. a name of one of the figures that were in the house that night, a name of one of those pricks that killed his parents. jeon jungkook. apparently, a big ceo of a company and blah blah blah - jimin never paid attention to those types of details, finding it boring for him to tune into. jimin was more focused on memorizing his face, imprinting the name and the coven's whereabouts into the back of his head. after a week of intensive training, he started his mission one late September night when everyone was asleep. he slipped into his gear, grabbed his daggers. his bow and arrows and headed out. climbing on to one of the horses stationed at the stables, he rode off into the night and made it to the coven within hours.

"tonight, that er will die." jimin muttered quietly as he climbed down, maintaining a good distance from the coven grounds to station his horse in a small clearing in the woods. "tonight, that er will pay." jimin fixed his long cloak and pulled the hood over his head before making his way towards the coven, making sure to stay in the darkness and crouched down as the building got into view. crouching into some bushes, he peered at the sheer size of it.

"gotta give it to 'em." he mumbled, a bit impressed. "they sure know how to build a god ing palace." the night was so silent but jimin kept his ears open for any sort of sound or movement as his sapphire eyes studied the building; looking for a way in. the footsteps behind him were so silent and he didn't even notice the figure standing over him until he was picked up and slammed to a nearby tree. winded, jimin's guard was thrown out the window and the vampires around him merely chuckled.

"silly human. you think you could trespass and not get caught?" one said and jimin vaguely remembered seeing the wide smirk and the pointed fangs before passing out; the impact of his head bouncing off the tree causing him to lose consciousness.
