@sehun ᵇˡᵃᶜᵏ ᵖᵃᶰᵗʰᵉʳ It’s basically roasted brown rice green tea... latte! That’s a mouthful, but yes, it’s really good.
He looks up at you and chuckles awkwardly before his lower tier was pulled in by his teeth. He nods in agreement.
Twenty questions sounds good to me. It’ll help to get to know each other a little bit better. Though, I’m pretty sure I’ll come up with the lamest questions.
He lets out a soft laugh and straightens his back, carding his fingers through his hair.

Once the waiter leaves to signal the cook and barista to our orders, I turn my attention to you, leaning back in my chair as I offer polite conversation.
So...I guess this makes it a bit awkward considering we're just acquaintances. Perhaps we should play 20 questions. Oh- I'll gladly you give you a sip of my drink if you let me have one of yours!

@sehun ᵇˡᵃᶜᵏ ᵖᵃᶰᵗʰᵉʳ Well— maybe ‘every time’ is an over-exaggeration. I rotate between two different orders, but my main is always the genmaicha latte. It’s not too sweet and has the right amount of bitterness... if I have to live off one drink for the rest of my life, it’ll definitely be this.
He watches you as you placed your order, offering you a smile of his own before turning his attention to the waiter to place his order. Once done, he leans back into his seat with a wider smile, almost happy in antipication for the food.
I’ve yet to try the chai latte you’ve mentioned. If it’s that good maybe I’ll have a steal a sip from you if you’ll let me!

@jisung ʳᵃᵍᵈᵒˡˡ ᵏᶤᵗᵗᵉᶰ He follows suit, plopping down into the chair across the table from you, glancing out of the window onto the individuals in the midst of their morning routine occasionally.
The same thing every time? That's dedication if I've ever heard it...it's like my starbucks order, which I will unabashedly also order here as a drink if they have it. It's a chai latte with extra cinnamon. It packs quite the kick, but I can't resist it.
As the waiter approaches, he places his order and exchanges a glance with you for a brief moment, a glimpse of a pleased smile appearing.

It’s really homey. Not gonna lie, I do spend most of my time here during the weekdays, not only for the drinks but it’s a quiet enough environment for me to study.
Nodding his head, he walks towards the table and pulls out the chair before taking a seat. Humming to himself, he lifts up the menu that was on the table and peruses through before placing it down a few seconds later.
I don’t know why I’m looking through it, I always order the same thing. You want a chocolate chip waffle, right? How about your drink?

It's decorated really nice, don't you think? How about we sit over there?
He inquired, a lone digit gesturing towards a table next to a window that was vacant, He peered over at you briefly, a smile adorning his features, eyelids mimicking that of his lips.

nodding my head, I carefully lift my mug and blow on the hot beverage before taking a tiny sip, already feeling the warmth of it spreading through my body. though, when you offer your cookie for me to try, my lashes flutter in response and I crack a smile with a light nod

releasing a bubble of laughter, I the prop a single elbow on the table and lean my cheek upon my palm as I look at you, my face filling with confusion and worry about if I'd said something wrong after seeing your expression change so suddenly

@jisung ʳᵃᵍᵈᵒˡˡ ᵏᶤᵗᵗᵉᶰ Reading off the paper, he blinked, before saying it out loud, "last person you talked to on the phone.... That... was my mom a few hours ago. She reminded me to eat more vegetables." laughs slightly at the reminder, shaking his head slightly. "I don't think my brother's called me in a while-"

@shoma ᵍᵉʳᵐᵃᶰ ˢʰᵉᵖʰᵉʳᵈ “I’m a hopeless romantic so I believe a love like that exists. Maybe not for me, but I love seeing love floating around everyone. Might sound weird, but I’ve never really had a real relationship before. I’ve had plenty of innocent crushes, though.” He smiled softly at the thought, pulling back to take a sip of his chai latte. His eyes flickered back to the piece of paper. “Okay! You can go first on the next question.”

I guess I’m not in love right now, but well I’ve definitely been in a type of innocent love. Childish sort of.” Shrugging slightly he tilts his head. “Yeah, I’m boring-“

@jonghyun ˢᶤˡᵛᵉʳ ᶠᵒˣ Hearing the chortle of laughter from the fox in front of him, Chan couldn’t help but smile sheepishly for a moment as his ears twitched in response; shaking his head as he raised both his hand into small curled fists as he let the other grab the cake. “Oh i don’t mind~” He quickly helped push the cake towards the other before taking the carrot cake and wriggling in his own seat with anticipation, for a moment his issues seemed to fade into nothing as he enjoyed the other’s company; it was ideal. He wasn’t alone.

Whispering a quiet thank you before he took a spoon and took a bite from his cake, leaning into his free hand as he slumped with a small hum in content from the flavors. “So yummy..” he moved back and continued to eat his cake, sighing softly as he slowed down a bit to take a sip of the drink the other had pushed forth; nodding his head in approval as this was the sweetness he had craved oh so much. With a small huff he sat back for a moment to look around the shop, almost as if his eyes were searching for someone else; his gaze locked into the front entrance of the cafe, his ears dropping when the door opened but closed as another stranger left the shop.

Shaking his head a little to snap himself from his thoughts, he turned to look at Jonghyun; smiling softly and pretending as if nothing were different. “S...So, do you come here often Jonghyun?”

@shoma ᵍᵉʳᵐᵃᶰ ˢʰᵉᵖʰᵉʳᵈ “Ah right! The twenty questions!” He took his seat again and rummaged through his bag to pull out a piece of paper that he had prepared with all the questions the buddy system had wanted them to ask each other. He slid the paper to the center of the table so that both of them could have a good look and leaned in. “I’ll ask the question first and we’ll go from there?” Hands wrapped around the warm mug of his chai latte, he quickly scanned the first question before looking up at the other. “First question: if I’m in love,” he read off the paper before leaning back into his seat. “There’s plenty of people that I love, like my family, my six brothers and sisters, and my friends. But I’ve never been /in/ love before. How about you?”

@chan ᵇᵘᶰᶰʸ He tilted his head a little as he observed the bunny's little actions, finding the other's serious expression scanning their orders on the table rather adorable that he almost didn't catch what he was saying. "Oh," His eyes followed the other's gaze down to their drinks and desserts, back and forth. "I think they got mine wrong too, I don't drink anything with sugar..." He looked up at the other at the same time, and couldn't help to release a burst of soft laughter at the current situation.

"I think so too, yeah." He shook his head in disbelief, shifting in his seat a little to get closer to the table. "Carrots are certainly not our main choice of food...especially not for cakes." Mumbling, he gently pushed the plate of carrot cake and his drink towards the bunny, all the while suppressing another laugh when he heard the rumble of the other's stomach. "Here, eat up. and I'll have the chocolate cake if you don't mind?" Slowly, he pulled the plate of cake towards him while looking at the bunny expectantly. He hoped the other wouldn't stop him-- He was starving and had been craving for the cake since yesterday. But if the bunny wanted, he would still gladly give it to him as Jonghyun could never really say no to tiny creatures like Chan.

@jisung ʳᵃᵍᵈᵒˡˡ ᵏᶤᵗᵗᵉᶰ Smiling brightly when jisung comes back, giving the other a nod of thanks. “I mean, you aren’t wrong- but like hot chocolate is so much better.”
Shoma put both his hands around the warm cup, tilting his head slightly
“Should we do twenty questions?”

@shoma ᵍᵉʳᵐᵃᶰ ˢʰᵉᵖʰᵉʳᵈ Nodding his head, he offered a warm smile at the other before taking a step to move towards the counter. "One hot chocolate coming right up!" He walked up the the cashier before ordering their drinks and within a few minutes had came back with drinks and food on a tray. "I wasn't sure what you liked having." He placed the tray on the table and handed over the drink to him. "But sandwiches are a classic right? It can't go wrong."

@jisung ʳᵃᵍᵈᵒˡˡ ᵏᶤᵗᵗᵉᶰ Now, shoma was good at reading a mood. And at assuming the mood and atmosphere. Humming appreciatively he pondered momentarily. “How bout a hot chocoate please?”

@shoma ᵍᵉʳᵐᵃᶰ ˢʰᵉᵖʰᵉʳᵈ There was a shy, awkward atmosphere between the both of them as Jisung offered him a shy smile of his own. Gesturing at the seat in front of him, he stood up from his. “Take a seat! I’ll go get something for us to drink. Do you have anything you want?”

@jisung ʳᵃᵍᵈᵒˡˡ ᵏᶤᵗᵗᵉᶰ The young pups mouth stretched into a shy smile- the one he usually gave strangers upon first meeting. “ yeah, then we’re partners! I’m shoma! But you know that already don’t you....” he trails off looking a little lost.

@jonghyun ˢᶤˡᵛᵉʳ ᶠᵒˣ Taking a few moments to adjust to the presence of someone else, Chan simply hummed in response to the others small greeting; bringing his hands to gently tug and pet his own droopy ears as the other joined him, shaking his head to the question and a quiet amused giggle like sound being voiced as the other sat down before he could offer a answer. “Of course~”

Shifting his body a little to be a bit more perked up, he pursed his lips as he glanced down at his order; a brow raised as he definitely did not want this bitter drink nor the dessert. “I’m pretty sure they got this wrong, it’s not.. sweet-“ He looked up and glanced over at the others drink and cake, squinting his eyes a bit before his ears perked up instantly; the familiar scent of carrots making his nose twitch. “Um... is that?” he leaned over the table and gasped softly. “Jonghyun, I think that’s mine?” He pointed to the cake and looked up at the other with am innocently bewildered expression.

“Or do foxes eat carrot cake??” Bringing his hands to hug himself as his stomach growled, the bunny whispered softly as he realized just how hungry he was; sighing softly in annoyance with himself.

@chan ᵇᵘᶰᶰʸ "Hey," Jonghyun fully stood up, the small smile the bunny was offering brought one to his lips too almost immediately. At least the little one was still smiling, Jonghyun thought to himself, despites the gloomy aura around him that he could feel as he approached him, his drink and cake then already in his hands. "May I sit with you...?" He asked, although he was already setting his plate and cup down on the table- he didn't want to disturb, but he knew the other wouldn't refuse anyway. Besides...it looked like he needed the company.

Pulling the empty chair across of the bunny and seating himself down, he watched as the solemn expression softened, as if trying to hide, although still very much visible, especially to someone as tactful as Jonghyun. It was all too natural for him to notice, really. Being in the field of psychotheraphy and perhaps also because of his sharp senses as a fox, have enabled him to read people just through quick observations. The little bunny, he sensed, had been through more than just a simple bad day.

"Why aren't you touching your drink and cake?" His eyes shifted towards the cup of coffee and cake idly sitting in front of the other, barely touched, just like his own. It...kind of looked like the cake that he ordered earlier, but perhaps it was just mere coincidence. Which reminded him, he should probably call the waiter soon to return the wrong orders they gave him.

is so tempted to reach over and grabs your face and squish your cheeks, but instead I just stare at you in thought until the waiter comes back with our order and breaks me out of my small trance. looks down at my cookie and my lips lightly before picking it up. was about to take a bite but I offer it to you first, a soft smile on my lips

Depends on whether you’re shoma.” Though, a hunch told him that the german shepherd before him was probably the guy he was looking for. Standing up from his seat, he awkwardly extends a hand out. “I’m jisung. I hope I’m your partner if not this is going to be kind of embarrassing.”

@jisung ʳᵃᵍᵈᵒˡˡ ᵏᶤᵗᵗᵉᶰ He walks in albeit confused slightly, noticing the kitty at a table. Scratching his head, he heads over and sits down, opening his mouth to ask the question if the kitty was his partner or not. " Hey, uh, are you my partner?" He asks, somewhat shy, somewhat curious.
