@chris ᵃʳᶜᵗᶤᶜ ᶠᵒˣ I like chai on cold mornings as an alternative to coffee - or sometimes even with it.
Chai tea with a shot of espresso is delicious with cream and sugar.
I'm not a big fan of rosebud tea, but I will admit that I still have some stashed away for when the mood strikes me.
chuckles along with you, maintaining my gaze on your own, not bothering to look down lest I trip myself up.
I also have a large collection of herbal medicinal teas so I drink those often rather than turning to medicine.
Not in extreme cases of course, but you know, licorice tea for scratchy throats, elder and yarrow for colds, echinacea and elderberry for general immunity, like when I think I might be catching something.
That sort of thing. I'm a er for anything that helps me avoid going to a doctor for more than an annual checkup.
@minho ᵒᵗᵗᵉʳ You're welcome. I will hand the blade guards to you once I got it from the house.
shifts position, gliding forward and turning around to face you, taking both of your hands with mine as I skate backwards, dragging you along with me.
I am not really a fan of chai but I drink that sometimes too.
But my go-to aside from earl grey is definitely lemon black tea. That would be the easiest I could do.
Rosebud tea is good for its stress-relieving benefits.
chuckles soon after.
It's okay. I am actually enjoying talking about this. So just go on..
@chris ᵃʳᶜᵗᶤᶜ ᶠᵒˣ puffs my cheeks a little, head bowing sheepishly
Thank you, Chris. I really appreciate it.
bobs my head in agreement, smiling softly.
I always have a good supply of tea.
It's probably my favorite drink in general, but then you have such different experiences depending on what kind you drink and how you drink it. Citrus in the morning, early grey, or chai as well. Waste the afternoons with lemon black tea, and peppermint green tea in the evenings, or vanilla, cinnamon and ginger tea to get that warm feeling on a cold winter night...
wiggles a bit, smiling over at you.
I probably sound silly, going on about tea like this, I'm sorry--
@minho ᵒᵗᵗᵉʳ Just saying so that you won't have to spend your money.
At least you can use it for foxing your blades instead.
carefully glides into the ice with you, turning to you with a small smile.
Its citrusy scent is very relaxing, honestly.
It's why I prefer tea most of the time. You can choose whatever type you want depends on the relaxation you need.
@chris ᵃʳᶜᵗᶤᶜ ᶠᵒˣ Oh-- You don't have to do that...
mumbles sheepishly, lowering my head
I can buy a set, really. I need to go get my skates sharpened soon anyways, I noticed on the way over that they were a bit dull.
waddles alongside you, taking very small but confident steps until we get out on the ice together, carefully transitioning into smooth strides once on the frozen lake.
I like earl grey. Bergamot is a very comforting scent, and makes me want to curl up with a good book and a blanket.
@minho ᵒᵗᵗᵉʳ looks at where you are pointing, turning to you with a smile after.
I have extra pair. I will give it to you, if you want.
Good thing, you aren't getting hurt with the blades exposed every time.
takes a hold of your hand when you reach out for me, slowly guiding you towards the ice
My favorite is earl grey tea. Like.. It's the best for me.
@chris ᵃʳᶜᵗᶤᶜ ᶠᵒˣ Ooh... I should get some more of those. I lost mine a long time ago.
motions to the blade guards as I waddle along beside you, holding out a hand for you to help me - not that as much is said, but it's certainly implied.
But I'm glad to hear I hit a home run with the tea.
It's actually my favorite, aside from this odd herbal blend I can never find anymore...
@minho ᵒᵗᵗᵉʳ Peppermint green tea is one of my preferred teas.
I love it when the minty essence runs down my throat. It's relaxing.
unties my laces and takes my shoes off, replacing it with the skates. and once i am done, i place my boots beside yours, also removing the blade guards of my skates and putting it there.
I'm ready!
@chris ᵃʳᶜᵗᶤᶜ ᶠᵒˣ Oh, good. I'm glad you don't mind. It's peppermint green tea...
Good for the sinuses and good for the tumtum.
nods a bit and smiles to myself before plopping right over into the snowbank to remove my boots and wiggle into my skates, carefully lacing them up and making sure they're as tight as my lil paws can make them.
standing up after they're tied tightly, I hum and wait for you, leaving the thermos tucked into one of my boots and dusting off the bottom of my fluffy snow pants.
Ready when you are!
@minho ᵒᵗᵗᵉʳ smiles at the sight of the thermos, nodding my head slightly.
Great, great. We will be needing that later on.
I prefer having tea right now, honestly. So it's okay.
Oh I thought I have made you wait for long.
rubs my nape sheepishly before crouching down to unlace the shoes that I am currently wearing right now.
@chris ᵃʳᶜᵗᶤᶜ ᶠᵒˣ Perks up at the familiar voice, turning to face you with a bright grin, holding out the thermos childishly.
Hi!i brought tea, since I figured we were going to get cold.
I considered cocoa, but then realized I didn't pick any up on my last shopping trip.
Admits rather sheepishly, looking down with a soft smile.
Uh, but no worries, I've only been here long enough to take in the sight, not even long enough to lace up my skates.
@minho ᵒᵗᵗᵉʳ my pace is quick as i make my way towards the lake, my skates dangling over my shoulders as their laces are tied together. arriving there, i soon saw a figure, quietly hoping that it's you. Hey.. i say as soon as i approach and realize it is you. Did you wait too long?
@chris ᵃʳᶜᵗᶤᶜ ᶠᵒˣ waddles in here with a pair of skates knotted over my shoulder and a thermos in hand, bouncing a little as I look around to see if you've made it here before me.
@yoongi ˢᶰᵒʷ ˡᵉᵒᵖᵃʳᵈ a firm hold of your hand as I give a little tug to it,
guiding you to a foreign place in my eyes; glancing
around curiously with such wide dark orbs before
glancing over at you with a wide smile as if I were a
child getting a new toy on Christmas Day.
here yoongs! here!
glances at the ground and tries to keep my balance
although I’m horribly stumbling like a baby Bambi
first born.
