@c. hansol she smiled at his sweet gesture albeit guilt silently rid up though she was asking for it whilst furthering into her questions. she had always wondered how he was without her, spending every minute of every day thinking about how she'd explain to him her situation -- never would she imagine him accepting her back. and for that, she was grateful. "i missed you too, hansol, so much. i'm so thankful that we're giving us another chance," her steps simmer down significantly, lightly treading upon the wet sand that had been previously tainted by the water, returning his kiss with her own to his fingers. "i'm sorry about leaving, i really am."
@m. mina as he followed her towards the water, he was quite taken back by her sudden question; he hadn't thought much about what had happened since the last few days. he was just happy that she was back within his arms; almost like a dream. it was too good to be true. he raised their interlocked hands near his lips before pressing a small kiss upon the back of her hand. "to tell you the truth, it's been kind of nostalgic. every time i get to spend even a second with you, it feels as if you never left. i was feeling homesick when you left; it made me realize that i didn't really miss my family or anything. i just missed you. you were my home."
@c. hansol she gave his hand a small squeeze that spoke of out pure content that she had recognized all too well whilst in his presence, even in the past. slowly, she trudged her way down the steps that had led to the sand, not yet caring about the possibility of getting sand particles in her shoes but rather focused on her time with hansol, tugging him closer towards the water though with no intent on getting in. "tell me how you've been, my love. like, after -- the whole thing."
mark lets out a tired sigh and gives up his drink for now. he then switches his focus to chungha who announces something about a game. "a game? i think we should too. what game is there?"
chungha bopped her head along to the beat of the catchy tune, although her eyes were darting around to see if a certain somebody was going to show up to the party. "guys, we should play a game or something"
"i'm fine when i'm drinking. i have you, it's okay." he nods with a forced smile before knitting his eyebrows together in frustration. "only today! i promise!"
scrunching her nose, she waves her hand wildly in the air hoping the toxic fumes float away from her. “thanks jinyoung. i think we all needed that. if a crazy man attacks, i promise we won’t stop you from taking out your hairspray, heejin.” she nods, holding up her pinky as if to promise before wriggling away from mark. “uh uh! this bottle is nearly half empty. you know you’re a mess when you drink!”
"i think we are fine without the hairspray, heejin." he nods at jinyoung who quickly snatched the spray away. his hand returns to grabbing the beer from nahee. "babe, c'mon—just a bit."
"it's not bad, it's like—'natural' hair spray with essential oils or whatever that means. plus i'm really accurate with it." she mumbles, bending down to shove the can back into her bag, only for jinyoung to snatch it away. "thanks for the beer, but, if some crazy man tries to attack us, you're gonna want me with that hairspray." she says before taking her can of hairspray and throwing it into her tote.
he approaches heejin from behind and snatches can of hairspray away from her, ing a bottle of beer he just brought in her palm "that's enough of playing with fire for tonight"
mark tries to wave at jinyoung as greet while attempting to reach for his alcohol, but he quickly ducks his head as a reflex from heejin. "heejin, PLEASE put that away. oh my god—"
chungha tosses her empty beer bottle onto the blanket and reaches for another drink, this time a smirnoff ice before shrieking due to the sudden fire. "JESUS are you trying to kill us???" she attempts to wrangle off the cap but ultimately frowns when she cant, holding it out to soojin for her to open. "but i mean good job killing the mosquito"
“you need to stop drinking, you goof,” nahee scolds mark, her eyes narrowing as she takes the can from his hands and brings it up to her lips. before she can take a sip, heejin’s hairspray fires and nahee flinches as she takes in the toxic chemical air. “PLEASE i can literally TASTE hairspray now”
"no no, they'll always come bac—oh crap there's a mosquito right there!" heejin shrieks, spraying her hairspray fire right above mark's head. she watches as the tiny insect become a speck of ash with a satisfied smile on her face.
"y'know, killing mosquitoes, starting a bonfire. you want me to show you?" she excitedly grins, shaking the can of hairspray vigorously. with her right hand, she ignites the lighter and sprays the hairspray through the flame, creating a huge rat of fire.
"hmmm what should i play..i'll just put on a random playlist and you guys can request songs." she opened up her phone and clicked on her party playlist, playing a random migos song to start off with. "it's nice and warm out so honestly we'll be fine without fire but its kinda just dark. someone tell someone else to bring lamps"
soojin eyes the hairspray warily, though she tucks away the materials she brought because she can't help but wonder how it would work in actuality rather than on a phone screen. "put on a playlist, chungha!!"
chungha's eyes widened at the sight of hairspray, thinking back to that one vine where it suddenly became a blowtorch. "uh, i guess to help us light the fire?"she wiggled her toes in the cool sand before reaching for her phone, trying to connect to the bluetooth speaker. "we need some tunes"
mark slips his arm around nahee's frame, then chugging another amount of the alcohol with his other hand. "heejin... you brought hairspray...? what is that for?"
nahee throws her blanket over mark as well, wrapping it around both of them as she leans her head on his shoulder. “a bonfire? how fun! i haven’t had a s’more in so long,” she comments dreamily, cupping her face in her hands.
"guess what i brought!" heejin calls out, running towards the group of people as random items fly out of her tote bag. setting down her bag, she takes out a can of hairspray and a lighter.
taking note of mark's comment, she reaches over to pluck one of the cans from the casing and pops it open as she turns to chungha, leaning into her side. "it's okay, that means more fun." digging through her back, soojin pulls out a bottle of lighter fluid and a match. "i brought these, but we're gonna need wood."
"soojin!!!!" chungha wraps her arms around her roomie as she plops down next to her and nahee, feeling giddy now that more people were here. "and yes, i brought quite a few things...i might have gone overboard"
he paces towards nahee and crouches down to greet her. his frame move forward to place a kiss on nahee's jaw before falling on top of the quilt to join his girlfriend. "thanks but i'm not stopping," he takes another sip from the alcohol and looks up at soojin. "there's plenty. i think chungha brought a lot, and did anyone bring anything to sit the fire?"
at the sight of drinks she perks up, shoulders squared and eyes widened, scanning the area for spares. "do we have more drinks?" idly, she starts to open the bag of marshmallows and skewers, pushing them to the center for everyone to be able to reach.
“hey everyone!” she greets with a grin and a small wave before placing the quilt down. she proceeds to sit on it and places her bag down to take out the kimbap that’s wrapped in aluminum foil. “hopefully this lasts us the night.” glancing over at her boyfriend, she chuckles and shakes her head. “stop flattering me,” she says, opening up her blanket, “and come join me instead.”
mark takes the beer and opens it immediately. he clinks the bottle with chungha's and drinks a small amount before kicking off his flip flops to the side. "thank you, thank you. i needed this," he happily waves his bottle at chungha and focuses his attention on nahee and soojin, who both are coming in with other necessary foods (and being useful unlike mark). "nahee swiftly saves us like the angel she is."
