@c. tzuyu "Pancakes at this hour?" Luhan chuckled to her choice of food. He stood up and head to the counter after getting her order. Shortly, he returns with a receipt in his hand, he paid for dinner. The waitress then came with their order. She picked up the plate of pancake and frappe and glanced at him both times. Each time, he gestures towards Tzuyu, motioning that the order had belonged to the other. "Creamy chicken foldover and a cappuccino." She repeated as she placed his order before him, her eyes obviously unable to tear themselves away from Luhan. "Thank you." Reluctantly, the waitress left the two alone.
"So what would you like me to teach you? You did pretty well during my class earlier." He didn't forget their main objective of why they had met outside of the school grounds.
@l. han At that, a smile whispers up the apples of Tzuyu's cheeks as her head transfixes into a nod. "I'll just have pancakes and an oreo frappe," she says, the words tumble out of her in a series of disarray since that has been on her mind ever since she has stepped afoot in the restaurant, her mind drifting to the wisps of aroma slithering through her nostrils. As she gets seated, Tzuyu's eyes fasten to Luhan's, a fluster creeping in her cheeks as the dawn of realization waves into her that she is alone out here with her esteemed professor.
@c. tzuyu "Shall we grab a bite first?" Luhan can't help but hear her stomach growling softly. "I'm famished!" He wanted to make it sound more like he was the one who was hungry. He turned towards the counter and studied the menu, "What would you like?" He asked her first. After all, he should be the one taking care of her since she was the younger one, and his student at the same time.
@l. han Upon the quiry nestled deep into Luhan's face, Tzuyu stands up, her hand ascending in a flicker of a wave as she tries to guide him where she is seated. Even under the harsh lights of the food chain, she thinks Luhan still looks handsome, his stature a figure of respect and manly obedience. The aroma of food wafts up to her nose, her stomach grumbling in defeat.
@c. tzuyu Dressed in the same outfit as he wore during the day, Luhan came unprepared for the additional tutoring session, only topping it up with a jacket. He alighted from the bus and tugged onto his half worn backpack. Both his hands were engaged, as the other was one handed typing on his phone. Finally looking up from his phone, he looked around and spotted the place that Tzuyu had suggested. He approached the door and lucky for him someone had pushed it open, he sheepishly thanked the other for holding onto the door and slide in. Greeted by the cold air, he glanced around looking for a familiar face.
@l. han The sound of the door opening chimes in as Tzuyu enters into the spacious cavern of the food chain. The place is dotted with a series of seats and tables in an organized pattern, people petering in as the hour of dinner looms nearer. Tzuyu finds herself seated at the back of the chain, waiting for Luhan in the flurry of bodies washing in through the door. Sunlight scampers in a crisscrossed pattern through the blinds, her pallor awash in its soft heat as the aircondition whirs somewhere above her. She's brought all her stuff with her as her insufficient timeframe renders her unable to visit her home. Every time the door creaks open, Tzuyu's head veers into its direction in hopes of seeing the familiar pair of eyes capable to pierce hers as her index finger plays with the mist evaporating on her table under the cold. And so she waits.
@k. chungha "yeah, i did," he answers as a waitress comes by to bring him his water. he thanks her briefly and swallows down four big gulps of the liquid before setting the glass down and taking a seat beside chungha. he eyes the space between them to make sure there was enough, body scooting closer to the edge just a smidgen to respect her privacy and taking hold of the menu as it's handed to him. "i know you said you just got here too, but i didn't miss anything important while you were here, did i?"
[ +* ] you're fine bb fnjgdfnjg meant to tag you but got preoccupied
@l. ten chungha jumped up slightly in her seat after being tapped on the shoulder, having not been paying attention. "oh hey! and nope you're good." she patted the seat beside her, smiling up at the boy that looked dazed and flustered. "don't worry, I just got here too. did you just come from work or something?" the question was obviously directed to his attire, as she passed him a menu from the stack they had in the middle of the table.
"hey, hoseok." he says giving him a tiny smile with subtle dimples that pop out. he pushes the menu away from him, deciding that it wasn't too bad if he just missed out on taking a bite. "the one time everyone goes out drinking, it wasn't with me." he sighs dramatically as he felt the two rush in, looking up at both chungha and ten with the same smile he gave hoseok. "i'll just eat what y'all can't finish."
practically barreling in through the restaurants doors, he keels over to catch his breath and undoes a button on his work shirt. coming in his chef uniform wasn't really the plan, especially since he didn't wanna any customers asking him about food while he ate, but he didn't have a lot of time to get there let alone go home and change. regardless of that, when he catches his breath and talks to the cashier at the front, he spots familiar faces in the corner of his eye and joins them after asking for a glass of water. he stands behind chungha, someone else who just happened to join, and gently taps her shoulder. "did i miss anything? i ran here as fast as i could."
chungha rushed through the doors, cursing herself for being late, "god damn it-- oh hey guys!!" she quickly walked over and waved at the group of college students sitting at a table in the corner, smiling widely as she plopped down next to soojin, hugging her slightly before grabbing a menu. "honestly, i'm starving. thank god i'm not hungover but i could eat a whole feast right now."
"hosh!" hoseok springs up on his seat at the sight of his other friend's entrance, sliding a menu towards himself and with a flourish, flips it open. what to choose? he was still tired and there was just such a plethora of options that he didn't want to deal with it. he closes his eyes to leave it to fate, grabbing yuta's hand and flopping it onto the glossy sheet. the other's pinky finger pointed to a double blueberry stack. okay. "everyone okay from last night? i brought some sour plums if you wanna have them."
[ ok i hate to do this but imma go sleep just imagine yuta being quiet and grumpy and i give hobi/hoshi the power to godmoD LJSDF -- if you're all still rping this tmrw i'll be back ]
"i have been doing...things? it's spy things you wouldn't understand." he joked around as he reached for the menu, look through the selection of food that made it just too hard to decide. "i'm not sure what i want. can't just copy paste anyone's order?" he asked dropping the menu and looking back at it.
yuta picks up a menu, and pushes up the edge of his hood enough to peek at the menu with bleary eyes. "nahee, how do you have this much energy--," he snorts, turning over the tempting selections to see if there was more--and there was!
"honestly, i'll with some french toast, sausages, hash browns-- soonyoung!" he greets the other brotaku with the ceremonial offering of a fist for a fist pump. "where have you been?"
soonyoung knew that a lot had happened the night before and decided he'd check on them, most specifically on yuta. he was always at clubs drinking but surprisingly he wasn't there at whatever was going on with his closest friend. he walks into iseul and waves at everyone before taking a seat, "hey, how's everyone doing?"
“hey guys!” nahee grins, greeting each of them with a small wave as she jumps around in her seat from excitement. “the menus are right there,” she gestures to the pile in the middle of the table. “i can’t really recommend anything though since it’s my first time too.”
although he wasn't present in the whole ordeal that occurred the night before; he still made way towards the newly built restaurant. he wasn't going to turn down american breakfast. as he walked through the front door, he noticed the table right by the vast open window, where all his friends were present. he made way towards them before presenting a small wave and a grin. "hey everyone." he sat down beside yuta in the process.
yuta saunters in, a shabby shadow of the wild character he was the night before - despite shaving, he felt the slight scratch of new growth against his chin (and ONLY his chin--perhaps waxing it away was a future endeavors). the doors swing close behind him and he slides into the seat next to hoseok, leaning against him and letting out an exhale. "im ing hangry, my dudes."
in the bustle of the opening crowd hoseok breaks through to the view of the tables, his eyes soon locking onto nahee and soojin's poised figures seated. "hey ladies," he chirps, brushing his gaze over the light installations before slipping into the seat across from them with a bright grin. "what's up?"
considerably more demure and with proper etiquette as compared to last night, soojin steps into the newly furnished iseoul with appreciative eyes, eager to meet friends and bond over the happenings of yesterday. scanning over the well lit, modern yet homely decorated breakfast restaurant, she finds nahee sitting at one of the tables and feet walk with a significantly more happy step, pulling out a chair to settle in it next to her. "hi nahee!"
nahee walks into iseoul, claiming the reservation under her name before she heads over to her table. iseoul is new, opened just mere days ago, and she couldn’t help but kill two birds with one stone as she invited the others over for a hangover brunch-turned-lunch-turned-dinner-and-sleepover, getting to both make up for the catastrophic mess yesterday and also getting to taste what the new franchise has to offer. “i wonder when they’ll get here,” she mumbles, checking her watch as the waiter sets down a handful of menus.
