@ˢ⁰⁴ ; kim jongin jinsoul's gaze upon the lad was dark and unwavering, but she let jongin slide her foot off of him, though she didn't let her eyes leave his figure even for a single second. it wasn't often that her visage became completely void of any emotions, but her anger toward her senior far surpassed her desire to keep up with her facade. she stepped forward, and her hand twitched — the urge to rip the device off from was becoming too strong, but if she took it off, then that would make her similar to him. she knew what power he possessed, knew the specifics of it, and it was one of the reasons why she had approached him the moment she learned that choi san was completely the power her voice held was something that not many had become a witness to, having been told to hide away her voice, as even the ones who were keeping an eye on her were scared of it.
but this man — oh god, this man was tempting her too much.
"need him? for what? for that army you so badly want to have?" she leaned forward, moving toward the other, not even the slightest intimidated by the difference in their heights and the way he seemed to be as confident as she'd heard he was. "choi san doesn't need to get involved with things like that — he must /not/ be involved with whatever war you want to fight," she said, eyes narrowing even more. "i swear to whatever gods out there—if you don't let him go, i will kill you." she paused, stopping as soon as the threat fell from her lips. "you really do not want to make an enemy out of me, mister kim."
@ʲ⁰³ ; jung jinsoul he raised his brow at her rather dramatic explanation. it sounded rather comical with her robotic voice; something a cartoon villain would say. however, jongin was not laughing as the other dug her heel into his chest, “ow ow ow,” he complained as he gripped onto her ankle. the older gritted his teeth together as he began slowly turning his body and pushing at the leg to slide out from the female’s hold. who was she so vexed with him enchanting? the answer came not a moment later as she stated the name choi san.
as he slipped out with a grunt, he rose to his feet, brushing away the dirt that begrimed his shirt. he had no intention of giving up choi san. the male was a powerful addition; not only could he degrade bodies but he could replenish them. in his research, he had discovered that san had wiped out out his entire town in a matter of minutes. if he could cause such destruction, he could heal armies too, which is exactly what jongin needed.
“i can’t release choi san. i need him,” he responded honestly before crossing his arms, “why do /you/ care?” jongin inquired with a tilt of his head; this was the first time he had been confronted for enchanting someone.
@ˢ⁰⁴ ; kim jongin [] i hope this reply is okay! if not i can change it skljslkdkls
all jinsoul could feel was anger, and perhaps this was one of the rarest moments that she had actually felt something else other than boredom. she threaded the hallways with quick, light steps, and when she reached the classroom where she'd heard the senior was it, she pushed the door open, and yelled his name — or at least, attempted to. the robotic voice of hers didn't take on the emotions that her heart had wanted to portray (not that there were many, but still), and she didn't care that the other had fallen rather messily onto the ground. as she walked toward the other, almost by his body within seconds, she had stepped raised a foot and placed it upon his chest, forcing him down to the ground as anger filled her eyes.
she still tried to smile, however, one that would have seemed much more innocent if it weren't for the emotion in her irises. "well, i've come to tell the prince that has fallen so pitifully down to the floor—" a corner of her lips twitched, "—and i assume he doesn't like being looked down by a mere peasant such as myself—" she dug the heel of her shoe onto his chest, "—to think twice before using his ability on someone," she said, her voice so monotone that she was rather tempted to rip away the voice box that she was using just so he could hear the full extent of her vexation toward the other. her smile then dropped, and she was one step away from releasing her wings. "release the student called choi san, kim jongin, and i'll leave you alone."
@ʲ⁰³ ; jung jinsoul a delicious crack as he bit into the pristine apple as he lounged back against the chair in the empty classroom. he pushed his weight back and rocked himself back and forth on the back legs.
“kim jongin!”
“oh !” startled by the menacing, robotic voice, he lost his balance and went crashing to the floor, head hitting the linoleum. a hiss slipped out past his lips as he rolled out of the chair and onto his stomach, “jinsoul—what the hell? what is it?” he patted the dust off his dress pants as he turned up to look at the female through the white spots bespeckling his vision. blinking until his vision was once again clear, he focused the young siren and once again, demanding an answer, “what!?” the irritation in his voice completely discernible. few people regarding with such disdain (except for min yoongi) so he taken aback by the vexation emanating from the underclassman he barely had any acquaintance with.
@ᶠ⁰¹ ; na jaemin “this is boring.” i mumble to myself, fading in and out of consciousness. if i have to listen to this professor talk for two more minutes, i might just fall asleep. i lean back in my chair, impatiently tapping on the desk with my pen. suddenly, a low whale-like noise emits from my stomach. crap, i’m so hungry. without another thought, i lean over to the side to reach my backpack, accidentally bumping jaemin’s shoulder in the process. “sorry—“ i whisper as my hand wanders over to the front pocket of my backpack. keeping my eyes glued to the professor, i the pocket and instantly, my hand dives in and successfully retrieves a bag of honey butter chips.
at last, i get to eat you my little yellow bagged friend! making sure that the chips stay underneath the table, i quietly laugh to myself before attempting to open the bag by just pulling it apart. it didn’t budge. with a frustrated huff, i make another attempt, but to no avail. maybe i should burn a hole into it? no no, it would smell and i’m preeetty sure everyone will see the smoke. i guess i’m gonna have to open it /that/ way. holding my breath, i close my eyes and pray that the pop will not be too loud. my hands squeeze the bag and to my horror, an extremely loud popping noise emanates throughout the room. the source? of course, my chip bag. but hey, at least it’s open!
