@ᶠ⁰¹ ; lee jinsuk "Hmm... do you have picture of your real parents or their names? I can help you with it." Taeyeon smiled a bit and walked to the metal drawer where old files were stored, "Let's see... there are many Lees that have been here before and taught students but let's see..." The petite professor get all the files with the initials of L before putting it on the table. "Here, you might find something interesting."
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon She stared at at teacher for a moment debating on what to do before slowly nodding her head. “I am looking for information about my family my real family I mean,” Jinsuk finally answered in a whisper. “I only know they might have came to this school I was hoping to see if I could be reunited with them if I can find an address or if they teach here.”
@ᶠ⁰¹ ; lee jinsuk "Information for what?" She asked before looking at the woman, "I'm a teacher and one of the staffs here so I want to know what you have been up to." Taeyeon added before looking around and smiles. "No one will know, I promise." She whispered into her.
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon “I do mind, but if I have to answer I am just looking for information.” Jinsuk closed her eyes now feeling a headache coming on. She wonder if it was the right choice to have said anything at all. “If that is all may I leave now?” She asked while opening her eyes trying to keep calm.
@ᶠ⁰¹ ; lee jinsuk Taeyeon hums and rubs her chin, "Would you mind if you can tell me about this personal reason?" She asked her again and moved her leg over the other and wanting to know more about the student's reason.
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon Jinsuk listened to the teacher in front of her talked. “That sounds simple enough Ms.Kim. I will do my best to answer any and all questions.” Jinsuk sighed upon hearing the first question already expecting it to come. “With all due respect, and honestly it is a personal reason.” The student answered calmly with no hint of lies.
@ᶠ⁰¹ ; lee jinsuk "Okay, Yeoreum. I will ask you simple questions and you'll have to answer it properly and honestly." Taeyeon is still smiling while fixing her eyeglasses a bit, she sits comfortably on the couch while the student is a bit cautious as she could notice her position on the couch in front of her. "Why were you in the staff room?" she asked her.
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon Jinsuk was surprised to heard her true name on the inside; however kept a blank look on the outside. “It’s just Yeoreum Ms.Kim.” She replied back wondering now the teacher knew her real name. She made when she entered the school to always use her new name. ‘It couldn’t be she worked for my kidnappers right?’ Jinsuk thought to herself making a mental reminder to be extremely extra careful.
@ᶠ⁰¹ ; lee jinsuk One of the security staffs who saw Yeoreum going inside the staff only area was Taeyeon, she was preoccupied with food by the time the student walked inside the prohibited room. The headmaster's secretary was in charge of taking care of the wandering student but Taeyeon interfere and decided to talk to the kid instead. "Alright." The teacher sat down on the couch in front of her, "Lee Jinsuk, right? I only know your name as Yeoreum." She added. One ghost whispers on Taeyeon's ears about what happened and her corner lips curved
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon Jinsuk or as the school known her by Yeoreum sighed as she walked into teacher’s lounge. She sat down waiting to see which teacher could faced after she got caught in an stuff only area. “Darn it.” She mumbled to herself as she didn’t get any information on her family. ‘I just have to try again after finding out a way to get out of this mess. I just have to hope the teacher is not a mind reader.” Jinsuk thought to herself before thinking of all kind of things to say or do hoping it’ll work on this teacher.
@ʲ⁰³ ; myoui mina "Not all the time you should use your handkerchief, it won't last and should be replaced in a new one." She told the human doll before Mina answered her question. Jeongyeon only tilts her head as she knew Mina is a human, though her power is to be a doll. She loves dolls, since her early age she loves to play with it and even talking to it when she is alone even though her former father always destroying every dolls she bought. Her fascination of dolls is still there, no matter how old she is now.
The student was about to turn her heel before she grabbed her arm gently, "Wait." She told her, "Will you join me for a coffee after your class, Ms. Myoui?" She asked while still her face is expressionless but lifted. "I am intrigued by your ability." Then she lets go of her. Jeongyeon couldn't deny it. It makes her remember her mother's doll.
@ˢ ; yoo jeongyeon As Mina watched the adult grin at her words, she cannot help but wonder if what she has said was amusing; or was it one those “sarcastic” grins other people may call. Mina could not deem which is which so, she just settled to listen what the older woman had to say before placing her judgment. Utterly confused, Mina furrowed her eyebrows and bit on the corner of her lip, trying to decipher what the other meant, “Is it wrong to care about small things? I don’t want a new one – this is the only handkerchief I have and am not quite sure how to use it,” she stares at the piece of cloth she was holding in her hands, weighing its significance to her.
It was true – this was her only handkerchief as she deemed it not necessary to own one since she is incapable of sweating, crying, or merely catching a cold; the uses of handkerchiefs, as Mina knows it. Although as she observed, it seemed like it had other uses since people mostly just carry it around even if they were not exhibiting any of the aforementioned. That was what Mina was trying to discover: its other uses.
Breaking her trail of thoughts, the lady began to circle around her after asking if she was human. Mina had grown to know that if someone asks such question, she would have to say yes but also explain how she’s not entirely human per se. Though she knows how she came to be, she does not blatantly explain it to anyone in fear of being vulnerable. She had always been warned by her parents not to reveal their secret—the secret to her being.
“I’m human – just doll-like; I have the powers of a doll,” she vaguely stated, not wanting to say anything further. “Thank you for helping me with this,” she bowed slightly before turning her heel as it seemed like she was being a bother to the older woman – plus, she had a class to attend to (even though it bore her).
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon Shiah wasn’t quite sure why, but she felt some sort of warmth— some sort of comfort radiating from the teacher as the other gave a gentle, soothing rub to her back. The petite heroine to be found herself taking small steps after the teacher, finally coming to find comfort in the large ivory colored couch inside the lounge. Shiah brought another hand to her face, her nimble digits delicately dabbed away at the falling tears before accepting the handkerchief to dry her tear stained cheeks. A very hushed ‘thank you’ left her then. She sniffled, both hands now tightly scrunching the fabric at her lap. “I just…today was not a very good day. We had a training exercise and I just— I completely blew it; one of my classmates was even hurt because of /me/ because I was careless and incompetent. Am I…even fit to be a hero, miss?”
She realized she had been so rude! Not even properly introducing herself and hell, she didn’t even know this teacher’s name. Her face could’ve seem familiar to Shiah, then again perhaps it wasn’t. She encountered so many students and staff alike on the daily sometimes it became hard to jolt down all their names and faces.
“I’m sorry miss it seems I don’t e—“ Shiah was abruptly interrupted when the very room they were in seemed to…shake, or at least the couch she sat on did and a few pens and trinkets sprawled on the desk also fell, followed by what she could only guess was some sort of explosion due to the loud booming effect.
“W-what— what the heck was that?!”
Either something went wrong with an experiment in the labs, or the academy was under a villainous attack.
@ʲ⁰³ ; myoui mina Those words made her grin a bit, "But not responsible enough, I still don't know why you people took care of small things than bigger things." Jeongyeon hums and crossed her arms. Noticing it again, she really looked like a doll, her skin, her posture, the face and even her limbs. Then she began to answer again bluntly, "I know where to put my things in their place not like you and other students who don't know how to be responsible enough." She sighs and leans against the wall. "Why do you care for a small thing that can be replaced by a new one, like the handkerchief you found? You don't look... human to me." she added while looking at the student.
Curiosity got the best of her and walks around the student, 'No doubt, this girl has some doll features on her.' she thought to herself. Once the student answered her and her expectation got her too. Mina is a doll. What is weird that Jeongyeon once love playing dolls, up until now. Despite her bleak childhood where her psychotic father tried to make her a boy and when she do things as a girl, she beat her up, abusing her because of the thing she always wanted. Good thing, she still has her mother's doll, Jeongyeon kept it close to her and put her in a place where it is safe.
@ˢ ; yoo jeongyeon It was the day after Mina lost her handkerchief that after asking around 12 persons if they had seen it (most simply ignored her, and Mina was not the type to pester), she was finally redirected to a lost-and-found corner that was located on the teacher’s lounge. As soon as the period ended, Mina briskly walked towards the lost-and-found corner. There she found her blue handkerchief – she was a hundred percent sure that it was hers even though it was piled with even more handkerchiefs. After trying many times to open it—almost cracking the glass at some point—she thought that maybe she could ask for any of the teachers to come and help her. She peeked inside and saw someone – though she was not really familiar with said person, Mina showed no hesitation to approach her. Keeping it short Mina stated, “I cannot open the lost-and-found case.”
To such statement, the “teacher” (or so Mina assumed her to be) stood up without much of a word and opened the lost-and-found case for her. When the teacher had turned to her, as if on cue, Mina pointed on the blue handkerchief which was handed to her in a matter of seconds. The teacher, however, made a comment about Mina’s actions to which Mina answered with a tilt of a head; confusion rather obvious. Was it not necessary to look for something when it is lost? Mina all her life had tried her best to look for things she would lost no matter how small they are—she would often feel rather upset when she is not able to locate them and finds it hard to give up. Though she does, when she already feel “hopeless” but it was mostly her boredom hitting her: it was boring to keep on looking for the same thing every day only to not find it.
“I lost it, I should be responsible of finding it.” Mina stated as she put the handkerchief in her pocket. “How about you, miss? Do you not have the urge to find something when you lose them?” She queried as she wanted to understand whether it was okay to continue to do what she was doing or if she needed to adjust because it does not adhere to what most people would do.
@ʲ⁰³ ; myoui mina Jeongyeon had been looking for some reports about things from student that had been missing and found in the lost-and-found closet, but today was different. The demon gets a direct report from an unusual student named Myoui Mina who has been missing something "important", that girl gets inside her office as she was working for some paperworks that she needs to sign. Since the staff who holds the lost-and-found closet wasn't around, she takes responsibility of the closet that was placed in the teacher's lounge, she walks with the junior student, nonchalantly taking the key to the locked closet. She stopped in front of the closet and inserts the key on the lock before opening it, 'Why would someone be bothered to find a silly handkerchief?' Jeongyeon thought inside her mind before locking the closet again.
She then looked at the junior student as she got what she was looking for, "Why bother someone for a petty handkerchief when you can buy a new one?" and told her in a blunt way as she placed her both hands on the side pocket. Jeongyeon could see that the junior student looks like a doll but she don't judge it, maybe it was just a silly trick on her eyes.
@ˢ⁰² ; yoo shiah Taeyeon sighs as she saw the crying student in front of her, she can't help but to rub her back as her tears are still falling. "You know, you can tell it to me. What's wrong?" The petite teacher asked her while still comforting her before leading her to the couch inside of the lounge, "Take a seat," She sat as well as the student on the couch. Then she hands her a handkerchief, before looking at her, "What seems to be the problem, student? Why are you crying?" she asked again.
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon Shiah had only meant to quickly apologize for any small disruption she may have caused and then go about her way, yet here she was standing there a little dumbfounded. A petite female approached her, albeit her youthful and small appearance she was definitely a teacher— Shiah could tell just by looking at her that she had a very strong aura unlike most students even with their talents and more often than not over powered abilities. Her hand involuntarily made its way to her face, coming into contact with the apples of her cheek and something damp. She soon came to the realization she was already shedding a tear, so she quickly wiped them away and cleared .
The last thing she wished to do was to disturb a busy teacher whom she didn’t even know with her silly, little troubles of self lamentation. Nor did she want to acquire any pity from anyone, especially a teacher.
“I-y-yes I’m alright. I’m very sorry miss.” She tried her luck with a small smile, but the corners of her lips only twitched and would not budge. She just couldn’t bring herself to do it. It didn’t feel natural; to put on an insincere smile and be dishonest with herself when it was painfully obvious she /wasn’t/ okay. “I’m…sorry…”
@ˢ⁰² ; yoo shiah It was a wonderful day for Taeyeon to have a bit of classes today as she wasn't holding much of the students. She was looking something to do but ended up sitting on her cubicle inside the teacher's lounge. She also doesn't want to go out as some students were whispering behind her back about her family background. Most notably was their father, the villain. She was checking the students' exams in her class and making honest corrections about their mistakes, she arranged her eyeglasses before she heard someone saying, "O-oh...shoot!"
Taeyeon peeks out and saw a student coming inside the lounge, she stood up and asked the female student, noticed that her tears were about to fall from her eyes before she apologized to the teacher, "Are you alright? Your eyes were teary." She asked her as she walked towards the female.
@ᵗ ; kim taeyeon Albeit the hardships that she had to overcome each and every day, just as it was the case for everyone— or well she could only guess everyone— Shiah considered herself to be somewhat of a...resilient background character in this strange and unpredictable world. Yes, she thought she was strong. She /had/ to be, or else she could've never endured the awful things she was put through during a tender and early childhood. Yet, even the mightiest were known to have fallen time after time. Even for someone like her who tried her utmost to radiate positivity into her everyday life, she too felt at a loss. There were days where she asked herself over and over, 'Is this it?' or, 'Is this all I have to give? How pathetic', until these sick thoughts filled her head and she could no longer visibly conceal the frustration that ate at feeble heart. Perhaps, she was never meant to have set sail on this path. Perhaps she should've chosen the same fate her mother had— and just end it all with her family.
Today happened to be one of /those/ days, much to the young heroine's to be dismay. After a rough training class, she was utterly crushed, exhausted and felt as if her will was slowly ceasing to burn bright and ardent. Shiah had completely screwed up today. She still lacked so much and thanks to her inexperience one of her peers was badly hurt during the training exercise. And she could only thank the heavens it was only a minor injury, God knows things could've ended up much, much worse and she didn't know if she could've been able to carry the burden of someone else's death on her shoulders.
Still clad in her gym wear, she trudged through the halls, not quite sure where her feet were taking her. Just one step, and then another. Her head still hung low, her shoulders fell, and her bangs managed to conceal eyes that were hazy with sorrow, regret? Or perhaps both. She knew she couldn't keep inviting those negative thoughts that kept feeding on her vulnerable state, but she couldn't exactly help it. Not all the time at least. Her lips began to quiver, and Shiah was quick to sink her teeth into her plump, lower tier. Her stomach was churning and her vision began to blur when the tears threatened to fall.
'No. You can't cry Shiah. You can't. I won't do it. I won't...'
"O-oh...shoot!" Caught up in her own little torments, she hadn't even realized she bumped into an open door to a classroom? No. It wasn't a classroom but a larger office. Had she accidentally wandered into the teacher's lounge? She could only hope she hadn't disturbed anyone who might've been inside. So the petite heroine awkwardly peeked inside and bowed her head in an apologetic manner. "I'm very sorry about that." It had come off as a mere whisper but she was too afraid to speak up and have her voice fail her and crack.
