hero name: ibi (latin word for - there)
power: role creation
it seems like one day this person just comes waltzing into your life, like they were always there. you probably won't think much of it, considering their power. all this character has to do is touch someone - pat them on the back, hold their hand, etc. - and think of what they want to be to that someone. voila, they are whatever they want to be to that person. (as this is hard to explain, here's an example: say the user of this ability walked up to someone and put a hand on their shoulder, and said "hey! long time no see, old friend." because they wanted to play the role of that someone's friend. due to the user's ability, that someone would really think the user is an old friend of theirs, and perhaps greet them warmly with the line "oh my gosh, hey, yeah! it's been ages, how are you?" not realizing that they've never met the user in their life). beyond friends this character could use their ability to take on the role of someone's child, lover, boss, etc. the only way to break free from this user's belief is to have an outside force try to bring you to your senses, or hope that one day you end up realizing one startling fact - you have no memories associated with this person. (does any of this make sense ?? fkjdshfksds i hope it does)

you were born from a circus, where all happiness and fun is around. you are born with a unique ability to control and manipulate anything you see, especially wooden mannequins or puppets. the ring master used your ability for entertainment and eventually for evil intentions, you are a child back then when your only sibling told you not to follow him anymore as he has corrupted his mind to money and power and using you as his medium of his evil. you and your sibling packed up and left the circus for good, you decided to live in a city rather than a village and decide to enroll in Sora Academy where gifted superheroes were studying to become the future heroes.

"You see, this is why nobody likes you." Mina tells herself and patiently, she waits for a pang in her chest or for tears to come dropping—until she got tired of waiting. She exclaimed, "I felt tired!" Getting out of her seat, skipping around her room. She practiced her laughter: its tone, how long it should last, how loud it should be. Was she doing it right? She has no idea, so she repeats to herself in front of the mirror, now with a different tone, "You see, this is why nobody likes you." Mina smiles.

"You see, this is why nobody likes you." It echoes as if Minghao was in a cave and his thoughts were screeching bats: it was almost unending and never fading. Clenching his fists, he angrily continues his sketch—the lines were getting bolder and out of place. The bats were now bearing their fangs, closing in on him. They were coming for his blood, him dry. For the blood running through his veins were never meant to be his in the first place.

power: love inducement
much like a wizard's love potion or a witch's love spell, this character has the ability to either make people fall in love with them, or with other people. as such, they've taken it upon themselves to act as the school's "cupid" and get people to love each other. the only thing is...it's never really r e a l love, just a shift in the chemicals in the brain. they can use this ability in battle to confuse enemies into becoming infatuated, making them easier to defeat. however, they have to be close enough to their target for it to work. the closer they are, the longer the effect lasts, and once it's broken it's harder to get them to fall in love again.

power: fear embodiment
all things considered this can be quite the useful power. all the user has to do is put their finger to someone's forehead, and they're able to transform into whatever scares that person the most. even if they don't get powers with it (say they turned into a scary teacher from the victim's primary days) usually the fear is enough to get an enemy to shake in their boots, and even run away. the user can also turn into less human fears, such as fire or fictional characters like vampires (if that's a person's number one fear). however, the longer they stay in this "fear form" the more tired and depleted of energy they are. as such, they can only embody a fear for so long before they have to recharge.

it's quite sad, really, to have such a power. first this character grows up without their biological parents - although they never really minded, considering they had a loving, adoptive single father - and, by extension, not knowing they had a superpower. that is, until one day as a child they'd ended up scaring themselves so bad they were huddled in the corner of the room. when their dad came to check up on them, the moment he laid a hand on the user's shoulder i t happened. their dad was flung back, and died on impact with the wall. turns out the user's ability - now known as fear boost - creates a force field around them when they feel fear, and the strong that fear the stronger the force field (with enough force to projectile people away from them, such as the case with their father). this character, after being found by social surfaces, was deemed not guilty as both a minor and not knowing they had a superpower, and were sent to live with a foster family until they were eventually enrolled into the academy.

power: electronic melding
a person with the ability basically jump into any electronic object as well as control the object they're inhabiting. for example, if this person "jumped" into your phone, they would have access to everything on the device. if you were to call someone while they were inside your phone, they would be able to travel the signal from your phone to the phone of the person you were calling. the only thing is that the user of this ability must beware being stuck in an electronic that's shutting down, because they'll become trapped in it until the device is turned back on. they can only use things and move around in electronics when they're actually powered.

power: miming
although it may look like this person is just making various facial expressions and aborted movements, their miming is different from street performers. if they were to pretend they were trapped in a glass box, they really would be! except that the glass box is invisible. the great thing about this power is that if they trapped themselves in that invisible glass box, they'd be able to mime cutting themselves out, or giving the box a door. the possibilities are practically endless. this ability is useful in battle if they pretend to throw a bomb, shoot a gun, use a big fan to blow enemies away, etc. however, the one stipulation for their power is this. they cannot talk at all while using it, or else the invisible objects they've created are instantly gone, therefore, not useful.

what a strange ability, isn't it? the power to bring to life any fictional character or object? this character probably grew up lonely, without the attention of their parents and no friends to speak of. maybe they even used their newfound ability to bring to life the character from their favorite book or tv show, and that was their friend. as long as they have a clear image in their head of the thing they want to make real (from another source, ie. - books, television, music, etc. it cannot be from their own head) then it will become real. for example, a super cool, futuristic gone from a science fiction movie, or a superhero from a comic book. however, these objects can only exist for 24 hours at a time. the more the user summons at once, the more lethargic and tired they get.

power: devotion sense
their ability is both strange and somewhat scary, the power to make people devoted to them. imagine it's like a love spell, only it makes everyone else adore them, to the point that they'd do things they normally wouldn't just for the user, their "goddess." the user has to look someone in the eyes while using her ability for it to work, and it only continues working if the user and the affected are in the same proximity. the more people under the user's power, the more it saps the user's energy. if powerful enough they could make whole armies devoted to them, but if it's a student they obviously aren't anywhere near that level yet. perhaps they'll start with the student body.

power: wish granting
they have the ability grant wishes as long as someone tells them a full sentence starting with "i wish..." the bigger the wish, the more energy it saps from the user. in battle they have to partner up with another superhero, who acts as a wisher. for example, if their superhero partner needs a weapon they'll tell the wish granting user "i wish for a pistol with never-ending bullets" or something like that, and the wish granting user then as the ability to, well, grant that wish. the more skilled the user is, the more wishes they can grant. if they're less skilled, sometimes wishes go wrong. based off the example above, if they were less-skilled, they may accidentally grant the pistol wish in a way where the pistol never stops firing, even when no one's pressed the trigger.

power: dream projection
this person has the ability to make their dreams become a reality - but only when they're sleeping, and they don't have any control over w h a t they dream about. they basically dream like the rest of us, but the only difference is all these dreams come to life (before disappearing once the user wakes up). this user is best paired with two others heroes. one who can use dream manipulation in order to make the dreamer purposely dream of something. say they're in a battle, the dream manipulator can make the dream projector dream about a giant mecha robot fighting on the hero's side, and voila! suddenly there exists a giant superhero mecha robot. the other hero they should be paired with is a sleep inducer, or someone who can make people sleep on command. that way, if in battle, they aren't waiting for the dream projector to finally fall asleep. someone also needs to protect the dream projector while they're sleeping so they aren't attacked by a villain.
