@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ [ hey guys, as much as i want to finish frank's birthday party i probably won't be able to reply for the next couple of days ;; my apartment's internet has gone down and my hotspot is also a mess! ]
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "It's not like we're daring you to do anything." Maria chuckled, she was thankful for the passes too after Kristine's question, but she was more likely to expose herself than anyone else doing so. "Ok, who i most likely to marry a closeted gay guy?" Maria snorted at the question before looking at Kristine, Frank was attracted to both genders. "It's not because you're old, I swear." Maria defended herself as she chose Kristine.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ "With you two, I'm saving my p-passes," Frank chuckled and looked up at the two. He felt like he would need them, since he has heard the questions could get tricky at some points. Cards against humanity were a go to game for him and his mates, the dark humor and dry humor was just essential to Frank.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "It's supposed to be," Kristine chuckled, she glanced from Frank to Maria and nodded at her. "You can pick yourself for the questions too," She hoped she wasn't offending Frank in any way because of the question, it was pretty a open one at that too. "You can pass if you want, you have three passes," She explained, it wasn't a real rule but if anyone really did not want to answer the more person questions then they didn't have to.
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Shh!" Maria shushed Kristine with an exasperated smile on her face, she looked through her own cards and found herself chuckling at some of the situations. Maria's jaw hung open as she listened to the question, it was unexpected yet hilarious, she couldn't help but laugh. "Wait, can we name ourselves for some of these?" She asked, she wasn't speaking for this question but she really couldn't see Frank doing that but agreed with Kristine just to mess with him. "Agreed, this sounds just like you."
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Yeah, that was pretty cute," Kristine murmured in agreement before chuckling softly. "And you're the best friend we could wish for, Frank," Kristine was going to go get the cards but she remembered she show Maria where everything was since she's never been in the attic until today. "You're only letting me go first so you won't mess up," Kristine quipped as she gave Maria a knowing look, she carefully pushed everything to the other side of the table to make room for the cards and planted the black "who would most likely to..." in the center of them. "Who is most likely to watch as soon as they wake up?" Kristine giggled at the question, she put the card down on top of the middle one and turned to the others. "I'm sorry Frank but I have to go with you on this one,"
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Cute." Maria retorted as she cheesed at Frank, she was so touched by what he said about the two it made her blush a little. The warm feeling of gratitude slowly died down once Frank made a comment about her, stirring offense instead. "No I'm not." She said with her nose crinkled up, she stood up from the table to go get the game Kristine was talking about, they were talking about games to play in case they had nothing else to do. "Since you know the game, why don't you go first?" Maria asked Kristine as she opened the box and took out the cards and started to shuffle away before passing them out to the other two.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ "If the person makes the gift, you two sh-should have not spent a penny. You're the b-best gift I could w-which for," Frank let his cheesiness out, grimacing right after saying that, feeling like the cake had changed the flavour of his own words into sweet jargon. "I'll wear my natural m-musk, thank you," Frank grimaced at Maria's stuck out tongue. He honestly had no intentions in picking up anyone at a club. He had quite the prejudice for the party folk, he had no problems with them, but he wouldn't take one for the long run. "Maria's likely to do anything," Frank chuckled, nodding in agreement that they should indeed play the game. For what it was worth, the cake was quite good, that coming from the mind of someone who did not like sweet things that much, but he could appreciate hard work a sincerity. "Let's do it," he added.
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "You can wear your boyfriend catch cologne when we go clubbing." Maria teased cheekily as she stuck her tongue out at Frank, she turned to look at Kristine when she mentioned the name of the game, she didn't know it was a card game now. "I'm up for it." She shrugged as she put away the perfume and set the box aside as well, it seemed like everyone wanted to preserve how nice their slices of cake looked.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Who said we spent a lot of money?" Kristine thought out loud as she put her perfume bottle and the eye drops back inside the box. "It's the person who makes the gift," She smiled at Frank, she set the box aside on the table and her tongue against her teeth as she tried to think of something they all could do. "Who wants to play most likely to? It's like cards against humanity, each of us puts out a card as to who's mostly like to do what and we point to each other," Kristine explained, she had the game in her chest of other games she had, the last time she played the game was with her other friends and they had a blast.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ "It may be my b-birthday, but I don't like receiving p-presents. Therefore this is f-for my pleasure," he chuckled as he pointed generally at the gift boxes he ha given the two. "If I had known you both w-would spend so much money on me, I w-would have given you something more w-worthy," he shrugged slightly. He had the two girls on his mind more often now that he had become disconnected from his own friends back in London and it was quite a nice thought rather than being gloomy and depressed all the time. "I'd say it has b-boyfriend-catcher fragrance, but I don't reckon you need any of that," he joked of course, knowing that the girls had much more potential charm than he would ever have and he was certain that if the right time came, they both would end up happy. "What would you like to do?" He asked as he returned to the plate of cake he had served for himself, slicing off a small piece of it to eat.
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ When Kristine brought over her present Maria straightened her back and strained her neck to get a good look at the guitar case, it was beautiful and certainly better than any other guitar case she saw around town. She couldn't help but look at the leather case and the patterns on it with great fascination, she agreed with Frank it had to be quite expensive. "You do know it's your birthday, right? We shouldn't be the ones getting gifts from you." She said as she opened the box and chuckled seeing the eye drops in the box along with the bottle of perfume. "Aw, Frank, thank you so much. This is so cute." Maria said as she looked over the bottle holding it up for Kristine to see, the only perfume she wore were the small samples that came from the magazines she bought.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Kristine held her breath as Frank started unwrapping his gift, out of all the cases she saw at the guitar shop the newest ones were nice but they did not compare to the one in front of Frank. "Thank God," She breathed once she saw his reaction to her gift, nothing made her more happier than seeing how Frank looked at the case as if it was his first one. "Don't worry about the price, as long as you use it's worth it," Kristine chuckled, she actually went shopping with her father for the case but she never told him who it was for, they only paid half of the original price for the case since the owner was so eager to get it off his hands. Kristine looked at the box he gave her and opened it, the first thing her eyes went to was the small bottle of eye drops, she looked at Frank with an "are-you-serious?" expression before she pulled out the bottle of perfume. "And you talk about my gift being expensive!" She exclaimed with surprise, she was actually expecting a cute charm bracelet but this was nice too. Kristine took the top of and took a small whiff of the bottle, the perfume had a delicate floral smell, everything she liked about the other perfume bottles she had but this one was special.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ Frank immediately put the plate away, somewhere nearby. He was struck by the unexpectedly big package Kristine had pulled out and he did as he was asked to. He took the bow off, putting it on his head, sticking a part of it under the party hat so it would stay put, for sheer amusement of course and continued to unwrap the birthday gift. He was struck. With all honesty, he expected everything except that. Just seeing the top part, where the finger board and head of the guitar was supposed to be, Frank was amazed by the design. "Damn," he breathed out in marvel, pulling the case out of the rest of the packaging and looked it over. He was speechless. With an emotionally touched expression, he look at Kristine and then at Maria. "This... you guys... I..." he was hard of finding words. It was amazing nonetheless how they actually both got his style figured out. The antique, beautiful flick lighter from Maria and this absolutely gorgeous, detailed guitar case, he was sure the little surprise he got them would never top it. "This must have been expensive as hell," he said looking at Kristine with concern. Frank put the case securely against the table and stood up to give a Kristine a hug of gratitude and appreciation. "Thank you," he said as he pulled away with a smile and went over for the paper bag. "Alright," he started with a small happy sigh. "This w-will not do justice to the gifts I've r-received from you, but I wanted to give you s-something as well," he said as he reached into the bag. He pulled out two separate gift boxes and handed each one. They both contained a little inside joke, the new eye drops. And, there was a gift that was suggested to him by his older colleague, that always behaved liked a grandmother or mother to him. She assisted him with choosing the gift and helped him pick the specific ones. They were perfumes. The lady colleague presented herself as knowing what she was doing and by description Frank had given her about the girl she picked the scents. "It's not much, but friendship b-bracelets sounded cheesy," Frank smiled with less confidence, since he honestly didn't expect such gifts that he has received.
Kristine shrugged when Frank asked what else they had in mind, on the other side of the attic he came through was a sofa big enough for the three of them to fit on and a tv sitting on a stand, she wasn't sure if they wanted to play games or watch something. "Right," She said a bit more on the shy side, she stood up and went to another corner of the attic and brought out her gift, it was a guitar case wrapped with blue paper and a white bow stuck on top of it. "Open it," Kristine commanded with a anticipating smile, she wasn't sure if Frank had a guitar since she never saw one in his room, but if he ended up getting one he needed a case for it.
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Maria looked at the paper bag Frank was pointing to, she didn't notice he brought anything with him from his room. She smiled at Kristine and mouthed a "thanks" before cutting a slice of her cake into a thinner slice. "Uh, anything you want?" Maria chuckled as she looked at the two before she snapped her fingers then pointed at Kristine. "You have a gift for him, right? I gave him mine earlier, I couldn't wait." She admitted before eating a forkful of her cake.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ Frank served the pieces on the any of the plates that were nearby and went on to hand each Kristine and Maria the plate. Apart from not being ready to eat, whoch means that he had already eaten, he would not miss out on Maria´s creation. "So, what´s the plan?" Frank asked while sitting back in the chair, one leg over the other and the plate with the cake placed in his lap in a very carefree way.
@marie a。ʷʳᵃᵗʰ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Kristine quirked her brows upwards obviously confused by the exchange the two were having, it seemed to be a conversation they had without her but she shrugged it off. "It's your cake, you can keep it on a cake stand for the rest of your life if you want," Kristine snorted, it did look nice and especially the inside once Frank cut into the inside of it, it must have taken Maria hours to get that right, good thing Kristine was not the one baking the cake. "I said it when you showed me earlier today but the cake looks really nice, Maria," Kristine complimented as she took her seat on the stool on Frank's right side.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ Frank took a step back from the girls, his smile never ceasing surprisingly. "I don't need to r-ruin the mood with my d-depression, do I?" Frank retorted to Maria, rolling his eyes at her with a smile. He fixed the pointy hat he was given on the other side of the portal after Maria ruffled his hair. His eyebrows raised as he was offered the pie server and he slightly screw his face up. "Are you sure I w-won't ruin it?" He asked wiggling his finger at the cake. "And I b-brought something for you two," he said nodding towards the paper bag he had brought with himself. It was just fair after all they had done for him. Frank awkwardly tried to align the server sideways using it as a knife to cut the cake, calculating how he should do it to keep the aesthetic at the same time. He appreciated everything that was going on and his biggest concern was to not ruin anything. If he could, he would keep the attic room intact as it is and take it home, just as preserving the cake and just keep them as memory. "There's no going back," he chuckled and sunk the side of the pie server into the cake once, creating then three triangular shapes for the three of them, one visibly thinner than the other two.
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Kristine's singing turned into a joyous laughter when the candles were blown and she put down the popper to give Frank a hug. "We're your friends, it only makes sense that we are amazing," Kristine said, she patted his back and turned back to the table and handed Frank the handle of the pie server. "Are you up for some cake?"
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Maria stopped singing once the candles were out and clapped her hands together as if she was proud mom "Awww, so are you." She cooed as she gave Frank a sideways hug, before she let go of him she reached her hand up behind his head and ruffled his hair affectionately. "And you said you were going to be miserable today, I don't see a frown in sight."
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ Frank popped the confetti, half certain he would breathe in a few pieces. He laughed as Maria started to sing and waited if Kristine would join in. He leaned in to blow out the candles with glee, yet he only showed a simple, happy smile. "Bottoms up for my one year c-closer to thirty," he chuckled and turned to the girls. "You guys are amazing," Frank said and slightly threw himself at the two, hugging them both.
@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ "Do we have to sing?" Maria whined but a wide grin was on her face as she voiced her protests, all she did was get flashbacks from the time Frank made her sing in the music studio. "I told you I was baking you a cake, and it doesn't have any lizards inside-" She stopped mid-sentence to flinch at the loud noise coming from the popper but she ended up turning the bottom end of her own shooter, she couldn't be bothered by the noise when there was confetti floating all around her. Maria started singing as well when her attention was back and started clapping to their terrible off- key singing.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@frank d。ᵒᵘᵗᵒᶠˢᵖᵃᶜᵉ Kristine excitedly clapped her hands together once she had the confirmation to sing and she went over to the table along with Frank and Maria. "Here," She said to the both of them as she grabbed confetti poppers and handed one to each of them while making sure the cake was out of harm's way. She made sure they had a minute before she started a countdown. "One, two, and three!" With a loud "POP" coming from the stick Kristine had in her hand she started singing to her heart's content, ignoring the small voice at the back of her head about having to clean everything up.
@maria r。ᵐᵃʳᶦ@kristine f。ᶠʳᵒᶻᵉⁿ Frank couldn't believe what he was seeing. The most difficult thing to wrap his mind around was the fact that under such a short amount of time, he had made such good friends that they cared enough to make a whole party for him and even bake a cake themselves. He wasn't the most emotional person on the exterior, but he was touched. "Go ahead," Frank said with a chuckle, referring to Kristine suggestion to sing him a happy birthday song. He made his way over to the table and looked at the cake. A smile crept on his face as he imagined if being made out of lizards, since it seemed like Maria was the one who had bake it. "I can't believe this," he chuckled and internally admitted that this birthday may not be as bad as he previously thought.
She nodded her head in agreement with Kristine "This is one of the many things we should be doing." Maria corrected Frank as she gently placed the candles on the cake, making sure there was not too much space or too little space in between each one. She waved her hand at Frank and Kristine for them to come over when she had the lighter in her hand as she started to light each candle, she couldn't wait to have a slice of cake. Once the candles were lit Maria put the lighter down and stood the side so Frank could take his place at the head of the table.
"They would be all about you that's for sure," Kristine said more assured than joking, they would probably be about the same things her parents talked about for the most part. There was never a day Kristine could get away from her parents questioning one of their students. "Hm," Kristine gave a short hum as her answer, it was neither a yes or no, she wasn't too sure herself but Frank would be the guinea pig. She closed the door behind her once everyone was in the attic and shook her head at the other. "You mean we should have, you gave me a gift when I least expected it and you're my friend, you deserve a small birthday party if anything," She was happy Frank enjoyed the surprise and even happier to know he was not expecting anything. "Do you want us to sing happy birthday or is that too embarrassing for you?"
So uh hey guys. Would it be possible after I'm accepted at the new one to be reaccepted here long enough to transfer over my profile and stuff? If not, it's totally fine.
