@☼ Hazael Ambers "I know I know," Thorn said proudly. Arthur had shown up around the time Thorn had been abandoned by his adoptive mother. Thorn had been confused at first, not sure if the owl wanted to form a friendship with him. But he was thankful that he did; now the kitsune felt as though he had a sort of mentor looking out for him, though the owl could only commune with him in dreams. "Hmm..." the fox paused in thought. "Can go to Hazelnut's home? Itzal aniki is gone gone."

“He’s a very good friend; you’re lucky to have him around.” Hazael let Thorn hold his hand, helping the other keep the balance. “He is really smart, I wish I was as good at navigating as he was.” He kept walking, making sure to glance up every few minutes so that he didn’t lose Arthur. “Do you want me to take you home? Or would you like to go back to my house?”
@☼ Hazael Ambers Thorn smiled, relieved and assured. He nodded a tiny bit, the movement miniscule to keep his head from hurting too bad. He stood up carefully and sighed, a bit annoyed at himself for falling out of the tree in the first place. "Thank you thank you," he said with another smile, dimples showing. Reaching out, Thorn took Haze's hand gently. It was mostly for his own reassurance, helping him keep balance but also the assurance of knowing he wasn't there alone. Arthur flew above them, marking the way back out of the forest by flying from branch to branch, waiting for the two of them to catch up before going further. "Arthur is very smart, very kind nice," Thorn said warmly.

Hazael hoisted the other up to his feet, already prepared to scoop him up before Thorn insisted he could walk. He gave a small smile when Thorn uttered his question, and he nodded a few times, “Of course Thorn. If you get too dizzy, I’ll carry you. Don’t be shy about asking for help.” Haze nodded his head towards Arthur, silently asking the bird to lead them back into town. He started the walk with the other, enjoying the sounds that the forest had to offer.
@☼ Hazael Ambers "Am not seriously hurt hurt," the fox assured, shaking his head and then wincing a bit at the sharp throbbing that resulted from it. He sighed, nodding. "I understand stand. Am sorry. Thank you for helping me, Hazelnut." The kitsune managed a smile, reaching to take the taller male's hands. "No. Can walk. Am alright. Do not need to be carried..." Thorn paused. "But...if get too dizzy dizzy, Hazelnut will still carry me?" His eyes were wide, uncertain. Thorn knew he had people that cared about him, but he always felt bad when they worried about him. His mother used to call him a nuisance when he came to her with scrapes and bumps. After a while Thorn realized that coming to her with injuries was pointless, so he stopped asking for help from anyone.

“I’m not scolding you Thorn- I’m just worried for you. You mean a lot to me, and I wouldn’t ever forgive myself if you got seriously hurt and I wasn’t there to help. You are one of my best friends.” Hazael continued softly, gently but diligently cleaning out the cut before smoothing neosporin over it. “Just promise me that next time you’ll try not to fall asleep too high off the ground, okay?”
Once Hazael was done, he clicked the first aid kit closed and tucked it into his backpack. “Okay, I’m gonna carry you back to my house. Do you think you’ll be alright with that? Or should we stay here longer?”
@☼ Hazael Ambers Thorn sighed but reached for the bottle, popping the pills in his mouth and swallowing it down. He made a face as he felt the pills go down; Thorn hated taking medicine. He stayed still while Haze looked around in his hair, and Thorn lifted a hand to show Haze where it was. It was a small cut towards the back of his head. "Heard once that head injuries bleed more more," he said. "Not that bad." But he still winced when the tender are was touched.
Now he was getting scolded, and he sighed. "Was not that high high," he mumbled, his pale blue eyes fixating on his hands that rested in his lap. Arthur flew down closer to Thorn, ruffling his feathers. "Of course you're happy someone's scolding me," the fox muttered, scrunching his nose. "Once I learn to go into fox form, will be easier..."

Hazael sighed softly- clearly Arthur wasn’t too pleased either. He grabbed a bottle of water out of the side pocket of his bag, “Here, try to have a drink of water with some painkillers.” He popped open the first aid kid, setting the aforementioned ibuprofen in his hand with the water bottle. He sat up on his knees, pushing Thorn’s hair aside to try and find the cut on his head so he could clean it out.
Haze didn’t mean to lecture but... “Thorn, you need to be more careful. I know you like napping in the trees but it can be dangerous. What would’ve happened if you feel and your head hit a big rock? You’d probably be in a lot of trouble, huh?” His tone was firm, but soft at the same time.
@☼ Hazael Ambers Thorn did not remember how he fell out of the tree. He climbed them often, and took naps in them often. He decided he had probably fallen asleep and rolled off the branch he was laying on. His memory of falling out of the tree was...iffy, so he couldn't be certain. All he knew was that he was laying on the ground, and every time he had tried to move or get up he was hit with a rush of dizziness. Arthur had plucked at his hair every time he tried to sit up, so he guessed the owl didn't want him to.
The dizziness went away and was replaced by a throbbing headache. He hoped he was okay; he hated going to the doctor. At one point Arthur flew away so the kitsune guessed Haze was nearby. Thorn slowly sat up, wincing. A few moments later and Haze was beside him. Despite the headache, the fox smiled at him. "Am alright alright," he assured. "Was not on a very high branch. Head only bled a little little." Arthur hooted above him and Thorn frowned. "Really was only a little little. Dried in my hair."

Hazael sighed softly, putting a small first aid kit into his backpack. He slung it over his shoulders before grabbing his shoes- he hoped the trek through the forest to find Thorn wouldn’t be too hard or too long. He was worried about the other, hoping he was just sitting in his place like Hazael asked him to.
After about an hour and a half of walking, he saw Arthur swoop down in his line of sight, so he picked up the pace from a walk to a run. He pushed himself, running to keep up with Arthur. Slowly, he saw Thorn come into sight, seeing the other slumped against a tree stump. When he finally reached the younger, he kneeled beside him, “Hey pal... how ya feeling?” He asked, his tone just barely above a whisper.
