@✿ h. jisung "shut up, i'm anything but," felix laughed with him, dragging the first two words out as he couldn't help throwing his head back slightly.

he could already tell that tonight would be fun, even with his earlier frustrations lingering in the back of his mind. he even caught an uber here, planning to pretty much get wasted in an attempt to magically forget his relationship problems. whatever was in store, he knew they both could be howling with laughter. "trust me, i can handle a couple drinks. if you wanna tap out early, i guess i could give you some grace," he teased, nudging his friend with his elbow, pearly whites on full display.

"and for drinks, can we start with two peach schnapps shots? when our food comes out could we also have two malibu sunsets? thank you." the bartender gave a smile and nodded, now leaving the two to continue talking. eyes returning back to the other's form, he turned again slightly in his chair, elbow resting atop the bar.

"so how have you been? what's new in han jisung's world?"

@✿ l. felix jisung waved his hands in protest, and shaking his head, he said, "no, it's fine!" slapping his thigh, he continued with a silly grin, "these bad boys needed some activity anyway." felix's next statement then had jisung raising an eyebrow. "oh? scare me away?" repeating part of what felix had said, jisung decided to poke around some more. "i'm not sure how someone as 'baby' as you could be scary," he laughed. if the felix he was meeting was the same felix he had chatted with on the app, jisung was sure that there was nothing much that could deter him from arranging another hangout after this one.

and this feeling was once again reaffirmed with felix's joke. jisung found himself laughing again. "sounds like we have an expert here! please, show me the way," he said, playing along with felix. "guess we're gonna have to drink a lot tonight! your alcohol tolerance had better be good, because i don't know about mine." jisung had never drunk too much even when he had gone to the bar the previous times, granted it was because it was a company dinner and he was with people he would have to be working with. but with felix, it felt like it would be fun to just let loose for once.

"let's go with those two then!" jisung said, quick to settle on the menu since his stomach was beginning to grumble at the mere thought of food. jisung waved over one of the staff and ordered what felix had suggested. turning to felix, he said, "the drinks will be up to you then, master!"

@✿ h. jisung "ah, that's my fault! it was honestly the closest thing i could think of, but when i pulled up, i realized there's, like, a ing seven eleven two doors down." the boy shook his head, laughing again as his hand reached to scratch at his nape.

it was such a relief that they were already feeling so comfortable with each other. well, at least, felix was with jisung. it almost seemed that he was just hyperaware of everything he was saying and doing today, worried that he would make a fool of himself. it wasn't until the other mentioned he had been wanting to hang out with him for a while that the hand he had placed at his neck now rested atop his chest, previous grin now growing wider. "i'm so glad we were finally able to hang out then! hopefully i don't scare you away after tonight, so that we can hang lots more."

his eyes followed the other's to look at the alcohol, beginning to eye some of his own favorites, gaze eventually lighting up at the sight of japanese whiskey. but hearing that the other other wasn't too familiar with alcohol types, he nodded his head in understanding and looked back to keep eye contact. "well after tonight, you'll know every brand on this wall and it's taste with your eyes closed," the younger smirked, then waved his hands with another snort. "just kidding." humming as his eyes fell back to the menu in front of them, his finger went down the list of things that they had. at this point, everything looked and sounded tasty. "i heard their wings are really good. these steamed pork buns sound great, too."

@✿ l. felix hearing felix's reassurance, jisung heaved a sigh of relief. "that's good, i hadn't expected the bar to be so far from the starbucks," he said, sinking in further into the seat as he tried to get comfortable after the walk.

jisung shook his head as felix thanked him, quickly refuting, "no, it's no problem at all! in fact, i should thank you, because i've been wanting to hang out with you for quite some time already." he then nodded in agreement, twiddling with his fingers as he heard words that sounded all to familiar. "i'm an expert homebody, but lately, i can't stand to stay home for too long either, so i totally get you!" he said as he flashed what he hoped would be a reassuring smile. jisung paused, contemplating whether to ask felix if there was anything wrong. he decided against it, and instead said, "guess everything aligned for us, then!"

at felix's question, jisung scanned the shelves of alcohol behind the bar, trying to find anything he could recognise, but the bottles all looked the same to him. "well, i don't really know my alcohol, so i usually just get the same thing as the people i drink with," he said, grinning at the other sheepishly. "and yes to the appetizer! you did say you were eyeing the food already before i came, and i only had a light snack before coming." jisung then turned around to spy on the tables behind them, looking out for the contents on each one. turning back to felix, he asked, "anything that caught your eye while you were waiting? or anything to recommend to this newbie?"

@✿ h. jisung his nerves were growing stronger and stronger the more he sat and waited. though this would be their first time meeting, he already knew that they would get along great. they bounced off of each other in the chatroom, of course it was only natural that it would be the same in person. his phone pinged the second time to signal that his friend returned the text again and he smiled, his anxiety easing away knowing that the other was truly coming. god, it was like he never had friends before this. before he could begin to spiral again, the sound of jisung's voice and warm presence sliding into the stool beside him had him grinning wider.

"yo, hanji! no worries, i haven't been waiting long at all and i haven't started on anything yet. honestly, i was eyeing some of the food they had," he laughed, turning his body slightly so that he, too, could see jisung and communicate with him better.

"thank you again for agreeing to hang out with me today. i don't really let myself do anything outside of work and if i stayed inside the house one more day, i might've went insane." admittedly, it had been a tough few weeks. he hadn't been eating properly let alone have the willpower to even get out of bed. it was true that they both hung out on a whim, and he truly meant it when he said that he needed today. "what you feel like drinking? or should we order like an appetizer or some ?"

@✿ l. felix arranging this meeting with felix was the most spontaneous that jisung had ever been. not even eight hours of preparation, at a bar to drink (which he had only ever done twice) and with someone whose face he had only ever seen on a screen! jisung was a 'p' personality type so it wasn't too out of character for him to do things on a whim, but even he himself was surprised at how readily he accepted felix's invitation.

but felix had sounded like he really needed this night at the bar, and jisung was more than willing to lend a hand to a friend in need.

jisung's phone pinged and he pulled his phone out of his pocket. he smiled as he read the text from felix, a mix of excitement and nerves bubbling in his stomach. he typed out a quick reply letting the other know that he was reaching in fice minutes, glancing up every now and then to ensure he wasn't walking into anyone on that busy street.

entering the bar, jisung sent another text to felix and scanned the room for the familiar face, his eyes squinting in the dim light. eventually, his line of sight landed on the side profile of a sitting at the bar in a black leather jacket whom he believed to be felix. weaving through the tables and people in the bar, jisung stopped right beside the man. a quick peek from the front gave jisung the added confidence that he had identified the right guy. he then patted felix on the back, letting him know of his presence, and called out, "felix, my brother!" he then slipped into the seat beside felix, angling himself so that he could take a better look at felix. "sorry to keep you waiting! have you ordered anything yet?"

@✿ h. jisung it felt good for felix to finally get out of the house and roam the city. lately he had been so stuck in a routine of going to work, coming home, forcing himself to stay up long enough so that he would actually be able to get some sleep, pass out and then restart the cycle. it was mentally straining and although he has always been one for routines, he was sure his recent predicament was to blame for his sudden decrease in quality of life. god, he couldn't remember the last time he dealt with something so nerve wracking, anxiety making a home in the pit of his stomach every single time he thought about it again. so, to take his mind off things, he reached out to his newfound friend to hang out, han jisung. they hadn't known each other very well, but he was hoping that through this, they could become closer. the boy was always one for making new friends. typically, his work schedule just made it a million times harder to actually find others with similar humor and personality. there was nothing to worry about, but he still couldn't help but feel nervous.

sending a quick text to alert the other of his arrival, felix sunk into one of the stools at the bar, pulling off his black leather jacket to rest behind him. he settled on a simple pair of jeans and a long sleeved black sweater, which he had a feeling he would regret once the two of them began drinking.
