The Brewery

@lee jihoon Juyeon felt as though he’d did his job today, making rounds to speak to familiar enough faces to appease his boss who thankfully was the same person he knew better than anyone in the room, as he grew up being raised by him. His father was conveniently oversees, suggesting Juyeon assume this responsibility as a sort of networking practical. He’d done plenty of practical work for his father by now to run the company blindfolded and by the time he reached the bottom of his glass, he managed to get another scan of the room to make sure he hadn’t left out any important characters. When his gaze lingered on a face that was familiar for completely different reasons, his brows knit but he made no move to get up and greet them just yet, trying to scope the scene discretely just in case the person sandwiching the shorter male into a corner was with him.

@lee juyeon Jihoon would rather be anywhere else but here right now. There were too many people cramped together in a relatively small area. The music has now become so loud that he could hear it reverberate in his skull. The alcohol tasted less interesting five minutes ago and he /really/ just wants to go home and watch more anime. But no... no, he has a responsility to attend to tonight. Jihoon couldn't leave this party until it was over, as per his father's command -- it was a relative important party and his presence was very much needed in order to establish a better connection between the two companies. Doesn't make Jihoon any less thrilled about being someone's pawn. He was currently huddled in a corner as some drunken stranger pressed uncomfortably close, yelling in his ear loud enough to be heard over the music by anyone nearby.

@lee jihoon Adjusting the tinkling ears atop his neatly styled hair, Juyeon joined the toast being led by a figure he’d never actually met but assumed was the host of tonight’s event and downed the shot of soju with a hiss. The merriment continued with loud conversations and boisterous banter that he politely excused himself from to have a seat at the bar where he could hear himself think. Settling in an empty seat next to a guy maybe a head shorter than him, he raised a hand to call for the bartender and ordered a whiskey sour before sighing and relaxing into the seat.
