actually, you know what that sounds like something i would really like. i enjoy strawberry flavored anything, really, so a wine that isnt too dry and happens to have notes of strawberry? perfect.
/glances around to see if i can catch sight of our waiter, lifting a hand to signal we're ready to order
i personally dont drink wine too often but when i do, i know what i prefer. i usually just go for beer in all honesty haha

I might know a good one. I’m the same way about red wines so I usually just go for something like Zinfandel but that’s also cause it’s cheaper heh but uhh there’s one I’ve tried before that might be good- it’s a Brachetto so it’s not too dry and sweet like strawberries… I promise I don’t drink a lot of wine, I just remember more names now after working at the bar a while.

i think id go for a nice red, not too dry though not a fan of how bitter dry wines are. maybe something fruity...gonna splurge a bit on this one, spoiling you is my main aim. you already have made this night so perfect, it can only get better from here.

/catches the movement of your hand out of the corner of my eye and quickly slips my own into it so i can lace our fingers again, absently running the pad of my thumb along your index finger as i contemplate the menu options
seafood, pasta.....i would prefer both in one dish but either sounds genuinely delicious right now actually.

We can also get out more together. Usually, I pass on going out all that much since I’m a homebody who needs all my creature comforts close by but I’ve been trying to get out more.
*speaks softly, preoccupied with looking over the menu and immediately lays my hand out along the table, palm up to offer to you without thinking*
Ahh I’m so glad they have short menus with descriptions of the dishes or I’d be done for… All I know is that I want something with seafood maybe

we'll have plenty of chances for photos hopefully if all goes to plan. i dont get out much either, unless its out to the parlor or lectures.
we can look and sound like we dont get out much together.
