you decide to watch despicable me 4. halfway through the movie, you hear a sniffling noise to your left, it's minsi, dressed up as a minion...and she's crying? during a kids movie? what a weirdo. her muffled sobbing and sniffles nearly foil your experience and you contemplate leaving early or moving your seat. afterwards, she leaves behind a journal at her seat, filled with to do lists, messy drawings, song lyrics, and embarrassing entries. you take it upon yourself to contact the number scribbled on the inside of the cover. (whether it's to return the book, hold it hostage, complain about the movie, or all of the above is up to you!)

it's minsi's junior year homecoming dance. she had just come back from school after her rotator cuff surgery and is on edge from all the emotions she had to deal with through her injury and recovery. her parents are reluctant to let her go as it would be much better to stay home and catch up on the school work she had missed. for the first time, she snapped back at them before running to your car.

the night was almost perfect, until it was time to crown the homecoming king and queen. it was minsi's job to announce the court, but a group of people from the rival school's swim team came to mess with her, oiling the stage before it was her time to come up to the stage. she slips and falls with loud thud. the crowd erupts in laughter with how comically minsi fell. it was a normal response—she was always a laidback girl, why wouldn't she laugh at herself?

but she's not laughing this time. she fell on her shoulder hard, solidifying the death of a future professional swimming career.

while at the club, minsi noticed a certain guy getting touchy with the girls. even when drunk, she knew something was off. before she knew it, she was violated by him and it made her blood boil, but it wasn't worth picking a fight with him. until he tried to your (or what he thought to be a woman's if a male takes this plot). that was the last straw. you and minsi confront him, and he makes a run for it out of the club.

while staying at the sauna, you start to crave boiled eggs. to satisfy your hunger, you go up to buy eggs and at the same time, minsi does as well. unfortunately, there is only one egg left and you and minsi fight over it, only for the egg to drop and roll under a vending machine. hangry, you declare minsi as your sworn enemy for the day and throughout your stay, you try your best to ruin her experience and she does the same for you.
time passes by and you start to get sleepy. waking up on the floor, you are greeted by minsi’s face, who also had just woken up. horrified looks are plastered on both parties' faces.

“dude what the ?”

you had been cuddling with minsi in your sleep.

╰┈➤ you and minho dated for years. you've seen each other at your worst and at your best, and it's likely that you're probably the only person who knows minho like the back of your hand. you know how to push his buttons and the right things to say to get a reaction out of him. additionally, you know his work schedule by heart. it's been over a year since you two messily broke up, yet you keep coming to his restaurant when you know he's working, complain about the food and ask to speak with whoever the owner is. it's never a surprise when he's given the description of you by his staff and he's forced to come out to speak with you, tight lipped and pretending as if the mere sight of you isn't agitating him beyond words. it could be that you enjoy seeing him frustrated, knowing that the man who's known for his calm, cool and collected demeanor can barely keep his composure with you around. or maybe there's great satisfaction in pretending that the food isn't up to par with your standards, and no matter how badly you agitate him you end up with a free meal every time.

╰┈➤ minho has always had an eye for potential, whether it be in businesses or people themselves. you have worked in minho's kitchen for a while to the point where he never had to worry about you getting things done. if there was one person that he knew helped keep his kitchen from going to , that would be you. the two of you grew close over the course of a year, minho learning that while you were good at your job, it was not something you desired to do for the rest of your life. it could be that you've never had the expenses to go to school, you'd rather stay uncomfortable where you are unhappy, or you just never had the push to seek out what you're passionate about. after weeks of consideration, minho asked for you to stay back after your shift, where he handed you your pay for the month and an additional pay for the next two months. there, he lets you go of your position and encourages you to do what you desire with your life; to try something new or to do something that you know you'll love. if you're unhappy with what you decide and if you were to return, he promised that your previous position would always be open to you. you kept in contact for a little while, but due to the both of your schedules communication eventually became sparse. now, three years later, the two of you bump into each other for the first time in a long time. minho is over the moon to hear about what you've done since he let you go.
