@christopher bang. [H] "I don't mind a little danger. I'll take as much time with you as I can." He flashed a wide smile to Chris. He opened the pantry and fetch the apron he had been gifted as a joke long ago but never worn. It was white with pink frills along the edges. He did find it to be a cute apron so he kept it around though he would never actually wear it himself. "I absolutely would want that, yes. Who wouldn't?" Hyunjin chuckled softly as he came over to Chris with the apron. He leaned in close as he carefully draped it over his neck, arms reaching around his waist to tie it behind his back. His eyes glanced up to meet Chris's gaze, pausing for a brief moment before bringing his hands back around to smooth out the apron over Chris's chest. "Why do you make this apron look so much better?" He stepped back the smiled brightly, delighted at the full sight of this strong, well built man in the frilly apron. "This is adorable. I love it." A happy smile remained on his face and he continued to tend to the chicken.
@hwang hyunjin. Chris allowed the other to take his hand, a soft chuckle escaping him as he did so. "Ah, does that mean we can't hang out as much then?" He teases lightly towards the other, feigning a small disappointed pout. "Don't wanna send you to an early grave." He continued. He turned quickly nodding his hands, before moving to the kitchen sink to wash his hands, happy that the other was willing to let him help. "Sure, I'll do that." He nodded happily, before glancing at the other, squinting his eyes a bit in another teasing manner. "I'm somehow convinced you would want that." He teased lightly again, before agreeing to use the apron. "Though, I don't mind using it."
@liu yangyang. Confusion had settled in Jisung's brain when he finally registered what was happening. If you could even call his confusion registering. He blinked, staring wildly at the other in front of him, the words he was saying were so back and forth, and did he just call him a ghost. Sure he felt like one sometimes with the way some people looked over him, but that by no means meant that he was actually dead. Still, in the wild state of confusion, Jisung patted his body down. "I'm pretty sure I'm alive." He grumbled out.
Jisung's eyes travelled down to the device in the others hand, watching as he messed with it trying to get it to work. Jisung could see the embarrassment cover Yangyang's face. Jisung felt that maybe he could feel a bit of sympathy for the other, that was until the other began to be dramatic about the fall. He rolled his eyes, before standing up, a small groan escaping him as he did, wiping off the debris that had covered his scrapes and soon to be bruises, not the best idea, but Jisung hadn't come to the court expecting to get banged up like this.
"Alright," He said before , kneeling down closer to the other. "Let me see you're arm." He asked holding his hand out. Jisung was too nice not to make sure he was alright, and despite his slight annoyance at the other, he wanted to make sure that he wasn't seriously injured. "What do you mean filming, what are you doing out here?" He asked a bit more calmly this time, trying to offer the other a friendly smile now that his brain wasn't frazzled.
@christopher bang. [H] Hyunjins heart fluttered at the wink though he let out a soft chuckle. "I'm starting to think you might be dangerous for my health." He reached out and took hold of Chris's hand, pressing it flush against his chest, allowing him to feel how fast his heart was beating. "I'd love to have such a handsome assistant in the kitchen. Would you like to start working on the pasta while I make the chicken? I have a cute lil apron you can wear so you don't risk ruining that nice shirt of yours. Would be a shame if it had to come off." He smiled to himself, amused at the image in his head of Chris being a messy cook.
@hwang hyunjin. "I do sometimes, meal prep mainly, it's easier with my lifestyle." He admits chuckling lightly following behind the other a bit but allowing him the distance to comfortably grab the things he needed to begin cooking. "Give you more eye candy to look at and help you with dinner... if you wanted?" He offered with a soft chuckle sending a playful wink the others way, watching as he moved around the kitchen
@christopher bang. [H] He was quite delighted the painting for far invoked comfortable feelings for Chris. That was his own personal direction he had wanted to go with it. It was nice someone else seen it. He took a sip of his coffee.
"Do you cook at all, Chris? I know you're a busy man, surely you don't order in all the time though, right?" He questioned as he wandered to the kitchen. He began taking out the ingredients from the fridge and pantry, fetching the proper pots and pans. "Please, get comfortable. But somewhere near me, if you don't mind. Id like to enjoy some eye candy while I cook." He teased lightly with a smile, washing his hands well before he started preparing the chicken.
@hwang hyunjin. Chris eyes continued to wonder around the apartment taking it all in, shaking his head at the others question. “It’s all too good.” He mumbled lightly the words coming out as a small remark as he continued to listen to Hyunjin talk about the different types of people who buy his work, and to him it was no wonder regardless of the reason, Hyunjin was very talented in his work. He looked at the painting on the easel as instructed, the small scenery as he took it in. Allowing him to take the coffee, before grinning at the mention of a hug. Wrapping his arms around Hyunjin, he took in a deep breath , as his hands rubbed along the others back gently before squeezing him back in parting. It had been a while since he had gotten a hug like this from someone “It makes me wanna spend a day outside, with my dog actually.” He took the coffee back that was handing back to him. “Reminds me of home for some reason.” He let out a soft chuckle taking a sip of the coffee once more before turni bff back towards the other. “Also, that pasta thing sounds good, can’t wait to try it.”
@christopher bang. [H] He set his coffee down on the counter for a moment, approaching Chris with a warm smile. "Is it too much? The art I mean? I sell my paintings. It's kinda funny the different types of people that buy them. From little old ladies to the guys down at the tattoo shop. Everyone gets different feelings from what they see in the paintings. Everyone interprets them differently. Some buy them because it brings back memories, it reminds them of something they held onto fondly. Some are inspired. Some just think it's pretty." He gestured to the one sitting on the easel. "It's not finished yet, but what do you see when you look at it? What do you feel?" Carefully, he took the coffee from Chris's hand and set it aside as well, looking at him just long enough to give him a heads up. "I'm going to take advantage of your offer for physical connection." And with that, he slid his arms around Chris's mid section, practically melting against his well toned chest. He had wondered what it would feel like to hug him, to feel his arms around him. It felt better than he imagined. Hyunjin gave him a gentle squeeze before letting go, pulling back and handing Chris his coffee back, a satisfied smile on his face.
@hwang hyunjin. He laughed lightly at the other pointing out that he hadn’t properly answered the question, and nodded his head lightly, as he listened to the other. “Well, I’m the same then, if you want physical connection then you can reach out.” He grinned, his hand reaching out for Hyunjin’s arm holding onto the crook of it as they walked. “Like this.” He said with a laugh before dropping his arms back down.
Following Hyunjin in his directions to the apartment, when they finally made their way there, he looked around inside the apartment completely in awe at the others decor, impressed with the art that he had seen his eyes drawn to the easel that was being moved out of the way. “Don’t apologize… it all looks good.”
@christopher bang. [H] "No allergies, that's good. But you sir, didn't answer the last question. Do you /want/ physical contact? Personally, I love physical affection. I'm big on cuddles, hair touching, hand holding. So if you're feeling like a hug or something, please feel free to help yourself. I can guarantee I'll enjoy it." He dipped his drink happily, turning the corner then stopping at the crosswalk for a moment, waiting for it to be safe for them to cross.
"I had originally planned on making a chicken Florentine pasta, if that sounds good to you. If not I can make something else." He punched in the code to the door outside his apartment building, leading Chris up a flight of stairs then down the hall. Fishing out the key, he unlocked the door to his studio, letting the other in first. Different paintings of people, scenery, animals and abstract art lined the walls, canvases filled with colors stood on the floor, leaning up against the walls. One canvas sat on the easel, covered in shades of blues and yellows, the start of what looked to be a scenery image. Sets of paints were neatly lined up on a desk beside the easel.
"Sorry, I was painting this morning before I went out to the park..." He smiled sheepishly, moving the easel aside and out of the way. Besides the canvases, the apartment was neat and organized, everything in order and clean.
@hwang hyunjin. Chris let out a soft snort at the others excitement, following him out the door of the establishment. The excitement easily rubbing off on Chris as there was more of a pep in his step as he walked next to Hyunjin. Listening to the others question he hummed thoughtfully wanting to answer them as honestly as he could. “I don’t have any allergies, I’ll eat pretty much anything.” He took a sip of his ice americano the straw placed at the corner of his lip before nodding his head. “I’m very touchy, actually. Love hugs.” He snicked lightly before turning his full attention back to Hyunjin as they walked. “How about you?”
@christopher bang. [H] Hyunjin liked the idea of getting to spend the entire day with Chris. He had been sweet and genuinely kind so far, he couldn't imagine wanting to part ways. But he also didn't want to force himself on Chris if he wanted alone time at some point.
"To my place then~" he sang playfully, reaching to push the door open so they could head outside. He took another sip of his drink. "Anything important I should know about you? Are you allergic to anything? Do you not like any kind of physical contact? Do you want physical contact?" He thought these were pretty good questions, mostly searching for boundaries so he wouldn't make the other uncomfortable at any point during their evening.
@hwang hyunjin. "We will see then." Chris said, he knew that after dinner he'd probably have the energy to hold the offer, but as he was still getting to know the other on a more personal level he still wanted to gauge how the night would go. Chris was a very clingy person so it wouldn't surprise him if he still wanted to spend time with Hyunjin after their dinner, but Hyunjin might be wanting to spend the rest of the evening alone and he couldn't blame him for that.
Patting his cheeks gently, he shook his head a bit to bring him back from his previously flustered state. He took the drink from the other when it was handed to him, taking a sip of the iced drink almost immediately once it was in his hands. "I was gonna say theres no rush and we could stay here, but it be easier and more comfortable at your place.. maybe?" He asked
@christopher bang. [H] "Sounds like a plan. Though if you did drag me out after dinner, I wouldn't complain. We'll see how you're feeling later." He grinned, planning on making plenty of food to make sure Chris was full and happy. He did enjoy taking care of others and making sure they were well fed was a top priority for him.
The way Chris's blush darkened made Hyunjin laugh, it was too adorable how flustered he was becoming. It was tempting to keep teasing but he decided against it, giving the other a chance to cool down before he turned a whole new shade of red. "Anytime. I'm happy to treat when I can." He reached for their drinks when his name was called, handing the drink to Chris. "Did you wanna sit for a minute and enjoy the coffee? Or drink while we head to my place?" He was already taking a sip of his own, eyes closing briefly as he enjoyed it. His eyes fluttered open, immediately looking to Chris.
@hwang hyunjin. "I'll text you, how about that." He said lightly. "If I don't drag you there after dinner just to try it out." He playfully added, he watched as you add the bag to his shoulder, his hand resting on the strap instinctively with a nod. "I'll be extra careful with it." He said, though his tone was still playful, he was very serious about his words. He always treated others things better than his own, and that was a lot because he made sure his things were well taken care of. Once he felt the patting on his chest, he gave a bright smile to the other. "Thanks." The words came out as a soft chuckle.
His face turned a darker shade at the others words, and seeing him obviously look at it. "I-.... thanks." He said rubbing the nape of his neck awkwardly with another nervous chuckle before stepping forward when it was their turn, the hand on his back grounding him just a bit. He ordered the same as Hyunjin, an iced americano before stepping to the side with the other. "Thanks again, for the coffee." He said a small smile, appreciative of the small act though he could see the other was excited about it.
@christopher bang. [H] "Tell me the time and place and I'd be happy to come over." Hyunjin playfully eyed Chris up and down for a moment before deciding to remove the bag from around him. He carefully draped it across Chris's shoulder, adjusting the strap as it rested easily across his chest. He gave his chest a gentle pat. "Be careful with it, okay? It holds my hopes and dreams inside. I'm trusting you." He never let anyone carry his bag, not this bag. This bag had carried his sketchbook ever since he could remember. But deep down, he could feel Chris would care for the bag just as he himself did. "It looks good on you."
Stepping up in line, Hyunjin let out an amused little laugh, delighted he was able to make Chris become flustered. "Has anyone ever told you pink looks good on you?" He teased, clearly checking out the blush tinting Chris's cheeks and ears. "You're cute." Finally their turn, he instinctively placed a hand against Chris's mid back, a small encouragement to order first. When the other was finished ordering, he ordered himself his usual iced americano then paid, bouncing a little one his feet in excitement that he got to treat someone for coffee. It felt good. He pulled Chris to the side gently to wait for their order, looking to him with a smile as he reached over to fix his hair for him.
@hwang hyunjin. "Come over someday and I'll let you try it out." The words came out of his mouth before he had time to even think about them, though he probably would have offered regardless. The other telling him that he didn't have to look, Chris just shook his head but decided not to argue, he wouldn't want to keep the other worried, though Chris really didn't mind helping the other look for something that might be more useful and comfortable to him. "I'll keep an eye out regardless." He smiled. "Let yourself be a little more tempted, I don't mind you probably carry it around all the time, I wouldn't mind being bothered with it for a bit." He chuckles lightly.
Chris blinks lightly at Hyunjin confused as to why he was staring at him like that for a small moment, before he could feel his face heat up at the others words, not expecting the compliment from him. He's heard people joke about it before but never had he had such words directed especially towards him. He sputtered lightly, the others dramatic actions only flustered him a bit more. "Y-yeah, you can't say stuff like that either." He nudged him lightly with his hand in a lighthearted manner, trying to cover up his flustered state.
@christopher bang. [H] Hyunjin laughed softly at Chris's words. "At least you have it for those days you don't wanna go out. It must be nice though..." His voice trailed off for a moment, a faint smile on his face as he considered how nice it must be to buy things you didn't always need. He definitely wasn't rich enough to buy such things, to make purchases like that. He lived comfortably enough in his little studio apartment that was not in the best shape, but it was enough to keep him content. He certainly wouldn't complain. He snapped out of his thoughts at Chris's offer. "Oh no, I couldn't ask you to spend any of your time looking for a bag. If you do happen across one though, I'd be happy to know. But please don't waste your time purposely looking. I'm sure you have better things to do. Thank you though, you're so sweet." He'd feel awful if Chris spent any time looking for just a bag. He greatly appreciated the offer and the thought. It made him smile knowing he cared enough to look. "You're quite the gentleman huh? I won't burden you with carrying my bag, it's tempting though. " The thought of seeing Chris carry his bag for him made his heart flutter a little. It was such a sweet notion, even just something as simple as carrying his bag. He couldn't help but smile at Chris, just happy to have someone so kind around him.
As they stood in line, he looked over at Chris again, staring for a moment, a bit in disbelief at his kind words. "You gotta be careful saying such things, ya know. Saying things like that could make someone's heart race. Especially when you're built like a god." He clutched his chest dramatically then flashed a cheeky smile.
@hwang hyunjin. Chris couldn't help the chuckle that escaped his lips at Hyunjin's words, and the irony behind them towards his own situation. "You see, I have one myself, and I still barely use it." He says, explaining lightly. "Though, it is nice on the days that I genuinely don't feel like going out." He nods lightly listening to you about the bag, examining it for a small moment. "I can look around for one like it, if you'd like?" He offers lightly. "If it gets too much, let me hold it for you a bit." He offers without thinking too much of it.
Stepping inside the coffee shop, he whispers a small 'thank you' towards Hyunjin when he holds the door open for him, a small shrug of his shoulders. "I really don't mind it, honestly." He nods lightly leading the two of them towards the line. "It's either this or go out with some guys from the team and I'm always with them, much rather spend it with you." He agreed.
@christopher bang. [H] "sometimes I consider getting a cappuccino maker for home but I feel like I'd still mess it up. It's so much better when someone else makes it anyways." He glanced over to Chris again when he asked about the bag, lips pursing slightly. "Ah yeah...this old bag gets uncomfortable sometimes. The strap does this weird twisting thing that's a pain to get right again. I really need a new one but it's hard to find this kind. I love this one and would want to replace it with the same. "
Hyunjin smiled happily when Chris agreed to join him. "If this is too much, please feel free to say no. I realize I'm bombarding you with questions...I guess it's just exciting to be social outside of the bar. It's not often I hang out with others like this." Approaching the coffee shop, he grabbed hold of the door handle and opened it, stepping aside to let Chris in first.
@hwang hyunjin. "If I'm getting it from a shop then I enjoy iced americano!" Chris agrees quickly, with a nod, following along theothers pace. "I drink all kinds though, cappuccino's are a good favorite of mine too." He adds, looking at the other when he nudged his shoulder against him. "You alright with that?" He asked lightly gesturing towards the messenger bag as he had noticed the other messing around with it for a bit, before finally deciding to ask.
Hyunjin seemed eager to spend more time with Chris and though Chris wasn't used to someone asking so much of him all at once, he couldn't say that it minded. Hyunjin was a nice person and Chris did enjoy his company, plus his day hadn't been planned out so he didn't mind spending the day with the other if that's what he wished. "I don't have too many plans. I can join you." He said after a moment of thought.
@christopher bang. [H] Hyunjin couldn't help but smile brightly when Chris said he felt the same. It made him happy knowing someone wanted to spend time with him like this, especially someone as nice as Chris. He absolutely took notice when his voice faltered a little but he paid it no mind. He knew Chris was the sincere type.
"We're gonna get along wonderfully then." He chuckled softly. "Do you have a favorite coffee drink? I usually go for an iced americano." He fumbled with his messenger bag a little, unable to get it into a comfortable position until finally he gave up and let the strap hang across his chest. As they headed for the coffee shop, he stole a few glances at Chris, simply admiring his features. He playfully bumped his shoulder against the others, wanting to make eye contact.
"Hey, do you have plans later? Tonight I mean? Or maybe tomorrow? I was planning on making a home cooked meal and it'd be nice if someone joined me. I'd love it if it were you." He suddenly questioned himself, wondering if this was too fast for the other male, a little scared he might make the other pull away already.
@hwang hyunjin. Chris had kept his hand there for a small moment, before dropping it back in his lap. He couldn't help but find the other adorable in his mannerisms as he spoke to Chris. Slowly seeing the other be more at ease definitely helped him feel much better as well. Regardless of the others intentions, he was one for making sure to let others know that there was no need to be nervous around him. He couldn't help the grin that grew when he seen Hyunjin's sweet smile. "Of course, if I'm being honest.. I feel the same." Despite wanting to sound sure of himself, he never really admitted to wanting to hang out with the other, so when his voice faltered, he hoped Hyunjin wouldn't pay no mind to it. "I actually love coffee." He said with a quick nod to his head.
@christopher bang. [H] The hand gently squeezing his shoulder made every worry vanish like it'd never been there before. Instinctively, he reached up and gently wrapped a hand around Chris's wrist, but not to make him let go. He enjoyed physical touch though he wouldn't always admit to it. Just that simple and friendly touch from Chris was enough to make him feel safe and calm. His eyes locked with Chris's and he smiled sweetly at him, appreciative of his calming tone. His own hand gave the others forearm a gentle caress as he spoke up. "Thank you. I'd hate to lose your company so quickly. The longer I can extend this, the better." He chuckled softly though he was a bit shy to admit such a thing. Letting go of Chris, he gathered his things into his messenger bag and stood up. He stood with a bright smile in front of Chris, reaching a hand out to offer him assistance up. "Are you a big coffee drinker?"
@hwang hyunjin. "That's very reassuring of you, thanks though, who knows I might be messier than you." He let out with a breathy chuckle before shaking his head at his own joke. Chris observed the others change in expression, noticing the small change to shyness in the other and the sputtering of his words and the male couldn't help the fond smile that grew on his lips. Placing his hand on the others shoulder squeezing it gently, in hopes to help the other calm his nerves before shaking his head, quickly followed by a brief nod. "No, I wasn't headed anywhere." He explained himself before allowing the other to think he didn't want to grab some coffee. "I was just on a walk, I'd love to grab some coffee." His voice was still and calm hopefully assuring the other.
@christopher bang. [H] "I promise I won't laugh. Art is art no matter how well you think you are at it. Even child like work can be beautiful and meaningful. I will absolutely laugh if you're as messy as I am though." Hyunjin smiled widely at the thought of Chris with paint all over his face and arms. He had always been messy with painting himself, but Chris seemed so well put together. The idea of him being messy was amusing to him.
Their gazes met briefly before he caught the smile on Chris's face, a fluttering sensation hitting his chest. He did his best to ignore it but the shyness got the better of him as he now sputtered out in a stutter. "Are y-you busy later? I mean w-were you headed somewhere just now? We could grab some coffee or something if you want?"
@hwang hyunjin. Chris nodded lightly and smiled as he continued to admire the work, even with it just being a quick sketch that was done in a short amount of time, it was easy to tell that the others words held truth behind them. It was easy to see even in the way that he's speaks, though not much is said. "I can tell." Was all he said in a quiet tone.
His eyes watched Hyunjin's hand move towards his shoulder and until he saw the ladybug in the others hand a soft chuckle escaping him, mumbling out a soft 'cute'. Before turning his attention back towards the other, a wide grin now growing across his face. "Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun actually." He nods in agreement, looking forward to the potential idea of them meeting up again after this. It was different idea to hang out with the other rather than just seeing him behind the bar, though it was something that Chris was looking forward to it. "Though, I'm a horrible painter so don't laugh at my child like work." He added light heartedly.
@sun zhenni. His eyebrows mimic hers as she answers his question, and he doesn't take too much time to put two and two together. Although it's been too long since he went to college and he never really experienced such heartbreak given his schedule, he knows a thing or two about it from peers; and, let's just say, he's been a one call away for those certain people. Bohyun remembers taking home wasted friends due to undeserving s, and having an inkling that she's the same case with them, it (unfortunately) makes him eager to help.
"Hm-m, it's not okay but it is what it is," he muses without bothering to sugarcoat his words, a shrug lightly coming off his shoulders. As he watches her following actions, his arms readily splayed in front him just in case she fell before placing his hand back to his sides again. With that sight, yet another sigh spills from his lips and that steels his resolve to accompany her until at least she gets a ride home. "I'm Bohyun, and please, I'm no savior. I just happened to pass by," he waves off the compliment with a shake of his head.
"Say, do you have someone else we can contact to take you home? Friends, maybe? Or a sibling?" he reiterates while holding a hand up in front them, silently encouraging her to give him her phone if she won't contact them by herself.
@jang kiyong. Sputtering at being referred to as her oppa, he tried to hold his laugh of amusement, failing miserably in the face of such an adorable scene unraveling in front of him. He crouched then, becoming eye level with the excited toddler to give her the goofiest lopsided grin as her father gently reminded her on how to behave from now on, agreeing with short, serious nods. He wondered then how he really would react in this situation if it were himself in Kiyong's shoes and shuddered, shaking the thought from his mind. Luckily, that wasn't even something he was considering for his near future.
When he stood to his full height again to answer, his eyes were wide, looking between the pair in pleasant surprise as she tugged his hand. "Is that right? Your daddy must be an amazing chef if he's famous. Ah- I can't let you treat me though, that's too much." he genuinely didn't feel the need to be treated for his assistance, becoming even more awkward as he fumbled over his words a bit.
"Sorry- I'm Mark. I play in this park pretty often right over there..." he gestured to where they came from originally, his setup still intact and unbothered, before rubbing his nape with a sheepish smile. "I'd love to swing by and try out your restaurant sometime though, I'm always down for tryin new things." he brightened as he spoken, taking the moment to dig out his phone from his pocket to unlock.
"Here, we can exchange numbers so you can send me the address. I wanna be able to find a gift to bring my new superhero friend here since she was so brave today." when he handed over his cell, he held out his hand to Saera for a high five.
@mark lee. kiyong takes a deep breath in relief at the man's kindness and nods when he asks about his daughter's name. "oh yeah, her name is saera." saera looks up at the man and can't help but giggle at the praise. "but this oppa is a real superhero, appa! he took me around to look for you!" she exclaims in excitement, causing kiyong to widen his eyes slightly and steal a quick glance at the man. 'for sure he is ahjussi to her. why does she call him oppa?'
kiyong crouches down to saera's eye level and smiles. "you both are superheroes, darling. both of you did great in finding me. but after this, if you want to go somewhere else without appa, please tell me first, okay? or else, appa will be worried sick." saera frowns with her small pouty lips. "appa will get sick?" kiyong nods. "yes, so don't do that again, and if anything, let me know first, okay? promise?" he asks while lifting his pinky finger towards saera, which she quickly interlinks with her small pinky.
he ruffles saera's hair and begins to stand up, smiling at the man. "i didn't catch your name. are you free tomorrow? i would like to invite you to my restaurant. perhaps we can have dinner or lunch, whichever you prefer. don't worry, it's my treat."
saera grins as he tugged the stranger's hand. "oppa, my appa is a famous chef !! he made a lot of delicious food and cakes !!"
