jongwon turned around, face beaming with joy when he spotted taemin.

Taemin shuffles inside in his Kuromi pjs, his visage carrying exhaustion on them as sleep daunts him. But he manages to strike a smile when he sees his companion.
"Jongwon" He calls out softly while rubbing his tired eyes.

there is a bouncy to his step, a book in his hand with yellow sticky notes flapping from the edges. a long golden tassel dangling as well. jongwon enters, humming a tune.

*blinking slowly, i look over at jisung, a smile lifting the corners of my mouth when I recognize him* i'm okay - - just chilling - - or maybe i should say warming up *chuckles* i not great when there are lots of people around, so i decided resting in front of the fireplace sounded appealing

*plops down on a chair nearby, looking over to hyunwoo curiously as he seems lost in thought. Is tempted to just sit here and watch him but decides that might be weird*

*grabbing a pillow, i settle myself in front of the fireplace, stretching out on my side, staring at the changing colors of the flames. the warmth emanating from the fireplace heats my skin, and i sigh softly, allowing my thoughts to wander*

“I don’t know how, but I picked the best boyfriend.” Yugyeom coos, his face reddening at the lovely words Sangmin speaks to him. Those very words strumming the strings of his heart like a harp. How lovely this panda was, how caring and thoughtful this panda was. Yugyeom was really in love with Sangmin.

He watches with excitement present in his eyes, they flicker from the box to Sangmin. He wanted to see his expression so bad. His own smile widening when it seems that the panda did enjoy what he saw.

“Right?! I couldn’t believe how well they worked together.” He chimes, nodding to give Sangmin the permission to put one on him. “Okay, but I want to put yours on you, so don’t do it yourself.” Yugyeom states, not wanting to miss out on the opportunity to do the same with the alpha. The elder rolls up the sleeve of his hoodie, exposing his bare wrist.

“And I love this about you. That you feel everything you feel. Trust that I will be hear for every state you may show me.” Seeing the necklace now on Yugyeom Sangmin knew he went with the right choice. His ears perk up hearing that Yugyeom also brought something, excitement it clear in his eyes; mostly just because receiving a gift from his loved one was something he always wanted.
Umber orbs lower down at the present box in front of him, taking it gently and slowly opening it. The shine of the thin silver bracelets make his eyes widen slightly and his mouth becoming agape. “These look absolutely stunning. Great minds think alike as well, this pairs perfect with your necklace.” His lips are pulled into a bright smile, he takes out one of the bracelets before carefully setting the box down in his lap. “Let me put this on you.”

“I mean.. I’m never against getting to indulge in you.” Yugyeom expresses with a happy hum.
The kind caressing of his cheek makes Yugyeom smile and laugh faintly at his emotional state. “Ah, I know, I just… get this way sometimes.” He confessed, returning the tender kiss before turning himself toward the fire, helping Sangmin get a better angle. His hand immediately reaching up to touch the pendant while Sangmin clasped it together in the back. Moments later, he fixes his seated position, letting Sangmin adjust the necklace before he glances down at it again.
“I will wear it all the time! Even when I’m sleeping.” He grins, picking up the tiny box beside him and holding it out to Sangmin.
“I got you something too..” Inside this wrapped box would be a soft, crimson, pillow like fabric, two incredibly thin, sliver bracelets sat inside. One would go to Sangmin and the other to Yugyeom. They were simplistic and only the two of them would know their meaning.

“I had a feeling you would say that. If anything we can get sweaty again later.” He says with a small chuckle until he’s able to see yugyeom’s reaction to the present gift, his hands lowering when the elder begins to look at the engraved part and to his surprise the light of the fire showed him the glossy sheen from his eyes, worried at first but upon hearing his words Sangmin’s instantly relieved. With a tender smile and gaze, Sangmin raises one hand to cup at Yugyeom’s cheek and caressing at it gently. “I didn’t mean to make you emotional over this. I’m glad you like it.” Sangmin can’t help but chuckle softly, it’s a giddy laugh from the heartwarming scene in front of him watching as his boyfriend admired the necklace. “I love you too, very much.” The alpha leans in to press a soft kiss against his lips before nodding at the request. He takes the necklace and unclasps it before leaning forward so he can see behind Yugyeom as he began to re-clasp, sitting up straight once more and smiling in satisfaction. “It looks great on you.”

“I wouldn’t have minded if you were all sweaty, Sangmin. I’m just happy to see you, I would feel terribly if I fell asleep without seeing to see much of you, especially today.” He chimes in a somewhat more awake tone, but there was still a tinge of sleepiness to it. While Sangmin began fishing out whatever was in his pockets, Yugyeom raised his hands to gently pat his face; hoping to wake himself up. He rests them back on his lap when spotting a black, velvet bag. Brows furrowing slightly as he tilts his head to the right. Observing quietly while Sangmin pulled out a thin, silver chain with something attached to it. Yugyeom scans his dark spheres over the rectangular piece hanging off of the chain. Eyes widening when he sees what it was.
“Sangda…” he’s trying to hold back the tears that stung his eyes. Carefully, he takes the necklace from Sangmin’s hand and looks at it more closely. Their initials and the date they got together sparkling like stars. “It’s so beautiful..” he sniffles, nodding happily. “I do remember, I love it so much. I love you so much!” He uses the back of his right hand to wipe his eyes before holding it back out to the other. “Will you put it on me?”

“You are? I’m sorry, I wanted to make sure I wasn’t covered in sweat when I came here. I’m glad I caught you in time before sleep took you then.” The sleepy state of his lover makes an endearing smile form. Pressing a kiss in return to Yugyeom’s cheeks after his and without any moment to waste Sangmin begins to dig into his pocket. Taking out a small draw string pouch, the black velvety exterior of it hiding away what was inside and when the alpha pulls the it open he takes out a thin silver chain, attached to it was an engraved rectangular piece; same color as the chain. Engraved on the shape was both their initials along with the marked date of when the two officially started dating. There’s a nervous but also excited expression on Sangmin’s face, holding the silver jewelry between the both of them. “Remember when I asked you about the kind of jewelry you liked? Well it was for this. I really hope you like it.”

Yugyeom lifts his eyes from his phone when he smells a familiar scent. A smile instantly forming when he spots Sangmin venturing further and further into the room.
“Hey, I was beginning to get sleepy.” He groggily chimes, stretching his arms and releasing a content sigh. “It’s alright, I didn’t mind the waiting.” He hoped Sangmin would feel reassured by this. The tight embrace that followed made the red panda purr with happiness. He returned the tight squeeze and pressed a kiss to Sangmin’s cheek.

Sangmin easily finds his way to the fireplace, glad to get some fresh air. Well, air that wasn’t him being stuffed in a room; though he didn’t entirely hate it since it smelled like Yugyeom the entirety of his rut. When he walks into the room he sees Yugyeom sat down at the couch already, a bright smile forming on his lips as it had been nearly an entire day since he last saw his boyfriend.
“I’m sorry to have kept you waiting, babe” Sangmin says as he wraps around the couch to be in front of the elder before plopping down next to him, bringing him in for a needed tight embrace

Yugyeom really hadn’t been far from the fireplace at all, he had been pacing back and forth down the halls. Really just getting his steps in that evening. Being cooped up for so long made him itch to get out and explore the halls he’d been through time and time again.
He enters the room and settles on a couch near the fireplace. A pillow is placed on his lap while he lazily scrolls through his phone. A small, wrapped box sitting beside him.

despite his tired state, he still had the capacity to tease his companion, though he wouldn't be able to see his reactions with closed eyes, hearing would be enough.

Oh, a sleepover sounds like a good idea. Next time we hang out, we should do that, maybe play a movie....make popcorn, only to forget about them as we play pillow fight in the bedroom~

he argued in a friendly bantering tone. he is aware of your hand running along his chest, so effortlessly unraveling the thread of his thoughts. until something inappropriate cluttered the space in his forebrain, one he wouldn't vocalise yet.

I mean that does seem nice, to be crushed underneath you but I can see that awakening things when....I should be sleeping. I meant cuddling, I just want to be in your arms for a bit....I know when I wake up, you'll be gone. So this is a perfect solution
