he ends up sitting down on the counter, wanting to stare out the window.

it takes a while, but once he has the heaters spread around the perimeter of the room, he turns them on one by one, keeping the heat level low so as not to overly warm the space. spotting the window overlooking the property, he climbs up onto the counter in the room and peers out the small window, gaping at the storm outside and how everything had turned into an icy white wonderland.

looks around, pushing himself to his feet slowly and crossing over to where he had set down the space heaters in case it got too cold, carefully dragging the heavy pieces of equipment around the room.

In truth, if I hadn’t had that moment of clarity, I would have fully indulged in you. Kissed, touched, tasted and devoured every inch of you. My own mind is clinging to your scent, the spice entangled in your regular smell. I felt possessive, hungry and the need to dominant. That wasn’t right, that isn’t how I wanted to experience those feelings for you. I wanted our minds to be aware, our hearts to flutter and our bodies to melt together. I wanted to show love in each and every kiss I would place upon your skin. I wanted my hands to hold you protectively, but lovingly.
I linger by the door for a minute or two, not wanting to leave you just yet. Not to mention; I was coming down from your pheromones.
“What are you doing here?” A random voice asks me, I spin around to see one of the betas who was assigned to help look after others during their cycles.

“You shouldn’t be in here, there is someone in there right now.” They scold before I’m able to explain.
Yes, the person in there right now is my boyfriend. I just wanted to see him for a few moments.
“Well, you’re stinking up the place, leave so I can air this room out.” I don’t want to fight with them so I leave, pulling my phone out to text you.

It felt like our lips had just barely touched, had only slightly melded together as they always did before your pair were gone. The smooth motion to push my body inside of the room was admirably quick, and your lack of chasing after it— was honestly astounding. My head was swimming with needs, urges, wants.. cravings. I felt dazed, like a film had settled itself comfortably over my head while at the same time filling it with utter nonsense so absolutely filthy I wouldn’t ever say it aloud. My gaze finally lands on the doorknob, hand twitching around the grip full of blanket. I could just pry open the door and take what I want.. fill my needs and satisfy myself— or.. maybe you hadn’t wanted me in that way.
The voices were swirling around my hazy brain, filling up the foggy void and changing it swiftly from attraction, to rejection. A quiet whine bubbles from my throat and I softly rest my forehead against the door, my vision wavering as tears begin to sting and prickle their way past my ducts. “Hyungie?” My voice was hushed, soft and lilting.. dangerous. Biting the inside of my cheek, I grab ahold of my blanket and shuffle back to the far corner, settling down in the nest and wrapping myself up in more fuzzy, comfortable objects— trying my best to ignore how bad I felt. Deep down I knew it was for the best.

My brows furrow as I’m trying to hold onto the sanity, your nose nudging my own and your lips brushing along mine really temps me. I can feel myself falling into a possessive state of mind. Pushes myself into your lips, eyelids fluttering closed as I finally feel those petal soft brims against my own. There’s an electrifying sensation flooding my body, it’s urging me to steal more kisses. It’s tugging on me, begging me to take it further. I want to dominant you.
With that thought I use the last bit of my strength to pry myself off. Gently shoving you into the room and slamming the door closed. I keep my grip on the handle tight as I’m not sure how you’ll react after I’d pulled myself away. I inhale the left over scent until I couldn’t smell it in any longer. My god, I wanted you so badly in that moment.

for me to get the sustenance it craves, to feed myself what I need to stay healthy and happy and pain free. Deep down I knew it wasn’t a good idea. I wasn’t able to say much at this moment in time, instead left to shake my head and try to physically put my brain back where it was supposed to be to no avail. You just smell so.. divine.
“One.” I manage to agree to the limit, my head slowly lifting as I look up at you and positively tremble. “Oh.” It’s barely whispered, as if I just understood something I hadn’t before, my legs steady as I lean up and nudge my nose against yours, unable to make the first move as.. well, that was the alpha’s job. My breath faintly ghosts against your lips, blissfully unaware of how strong my scent was becoming simply due to being around you, as if I were beckoning you in.

@✶ ┆ a. seongmin. ᵈᵒʳᵐᵒᵘˢᵉ Your stuttering as my gaze flickering between your eyes and your lips, my chest rising and falling a bit faster the closer I get to you.
“I missed you too..” my tone of voice is low, the more of your scent I could smell the more it began to play with my mind and try to lure me in.
“You’re right, we should..” I hold off on trying to inhale a deep breath, knowing the more I breathed the more I’d want you. I step closer, arms wrapping around your smaller frame and pulling you into my chest briefly. Not even the blanket could hide much of your scent when our chests were flush together. Fingers curl into the thick fabric, holding it tightly.
“One kiss..” I chime, really trying to remind myself to be careful. That this could turn south if either one of us let ourselves indulge too much. “…Seong..” I call for you quietly, wanting you to look up at me as I’m afraid of what my hands may do if I let go of your blanket.

Something was churning deep within my stomach the moment I lay eyes on you, that feeling only deepening as your familiar scent trickles into my senses. I gulp, tightening the blanket around myself and almost forgetting to breathe properly once you speak, the door creaking open. “I.. I- I missed you.” My thoughts were jumbled now, slowly turning over to produce the same response to you being right in front of me, my gaze flickers downwards as I feel the urge to submit. “We.. should probably hurry.” The way my body was reacting was new, and though it wasn’t exactly unwelcome, I could feel the self-control I was oh-so-proud of slipping away by the second.

@✶ ┆ a. seongmin. ᵈᵒʳᵐᵒᵘˢᵉ My sharp spheres are locked on the handle of the door, waiting and watching for any movements. My own heart skipping a beat once I do witness the knob turning. There’s an excitement, but also a nervousness, to all of this. Dark orbs lift to meet yours once you crack the door open and look up at me. A warm smile forms upon seeing you hidden beneath blankets.
“Hey there…” I note the way your scent has increased but how it also held a hint of something different. It was nice, warm and almost addicting. I swallow thickly, my hand gently placed on the door and slowly pushing it open to reveal a bit more of you. “It’s nice to see you again..”

It would be the first time I interacted with.. well, anyone during my heat in person, and knowing it was you.. it has my heart skipping a beat. My hand cautiously moves to unlock the door, round eyes peering up at you from within the blanket as I crack open the door. The heat has my skin the slightest bit glowy, a pink flush to my features and an almost spiced hint to my normally sweet scent. “Hi hyungie..”

-I’m jogging, partly to keep myself warm and partly to get to you faster. Ten-ish minutes later and I’m standing in front of the door. Panting softly as I collect my breath, lifting a hand to knock on the door-

@✦ ┆ l. jaewook. ᵇˡᵃᶜᵏ ᵐᵃᵐᵇᵃ The mouse nervously sniffs himself while sitting in the nest he had meticulously crafted. The perk of being one of the first to arrive in the makeshift heat space was that he could choose where his nest went, stowing away in a corner far from the window that overlooked outside. He was cozy and warm, surrounded by his own scent and of course, a few of the items Jaewook had leant to him. His scent wasn’t wildly strong yet, but definitely held the sweet edge of an omega in heat, something he himself wouldn’t be able to smell as well as an alpha. Seongmin gets up from the nest, appreciative that he wasn’t too sore yet, he heads to wait by the locked door, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket.
