@ᵃ lee minho. taerae felt metaphorical waves of thrill hit him a few times while he was getting ready for his first date with minho, or maybe second..? if you’d want to count their time at the club together. Either way, he was looking forward to how their time spent together would go. during the hiatus, taerae had time to really process their current dynamic, and truly, he wanted to see where it led. he enjoyed spending time with the older, even if it was short or long, fairly eventful in any way. he made sure he was dressed accordingly to the weather enough and waited until minho arrived, leaving his room with him once he’d shown up. happily walking alongside minho as he followed him over to the park, gazing around in awe.

taerae took a hold of his own ice skates from the small skates shop as he plopped down next to minho, copying his action, emitting a sigh of content when they seemed to fit perfectly. "woah. oh, i havenn't done this before.. have you?"

@ᵒ kim taerae. The plans had been made and Minho couldn't help the small amount of excitement that surged through him when he had finally been able to pick up Taerae, for their official date. The hiatus the both of them were forced to take regarding the recent events had allowed Minho a little more time to think and decide that this was something he wanted to pursue. Sure him and Taerae had flirted a bit before, and even made out that one night at the club, but this would allow the both of them to feel if there was something really there. So he packed a bag and prepared himself to get his date and make their way towards the park.

During the winter season, the park had a small set up that allowed others to go ice skating, and a little shop set up close by where they could rent some skates. Grabbing a set for the each of them and taking them to sit down and swapping his regular shoes for the ice skates he looked over at the other. "So are you any good at ice skating?"

Dressed for the colder temperatures at night, Yutaro strolled through the park, listening to the dead silence, but with more attention, he could hear the rustling of the trees in the wind, the distant bugs hiding in the dark, making a choir of their unique, soothing sounds.

The beta smiled to himself and stopped on the bridge that overtook a small pond where the moon was reflecting in it. Yutaro leaned his weight onto the railing and tilted his head back, big, round orbs in awe at the moon. Every night, he never grew bored of staring at the moon; every night was a new sighting of the moon; how would he ever become bored of an everchanging, glowing orb in the dark sky?

His body ached with that tingling sensation to shift into his moth form, to fly as close as he could to the moon. To fly till he would grow tired. It had been so long since he transformed, and with his medication, he had no clue if he could become a luna moth again. Had he lost his ability and instincts as a moth? Was he now....just a human wanting to fly like the birds and other winged creatures?

The wind gently brushed through his hair and kissed his cheeks; his lashes fluttered shut to remember the days as a kid when he would sneak away and fly all night. Knowing his mother would scold and worry about him the next day. His mother told him over and over again. "Yutaro...you can't shift to your form, you will get badly sick....please don't do it."

Was it worth it to become weak, unable to eat for a week to have that taste of freedom and to be in touch with his moth side? No, she would say being a plain human, stuck on land, was perfect; no, it was the only way to live. But him, Yutaro wanted to be free, to see the world become small below him, he wanted to feel the wind under his wings. It would be worth it; again and again, he would do it. Now....he had lost his ability to transform; though it made him low-spirited, he dreamed that maybe he could learn to fly again one day.

And say hello to the moon, ask how they are up in the sky, all alone, always watching everyone on the Earth live their lives.

leaning back a little to close my eyes with a exasperated sigh

the forecast was a bit of a 50/50 turn of events towards the evening and with the combination of the rain and nightfall, it was a tad bit cooler than usual
burying the tip of my nose into the neck of my coat as I casually stare off into thought-
the sniffles that were minor before were becoming more consistent

crinkles my nose and sniffles a little under the light dust of rain, taking minute steps at a time as I settle by a bench under the only source of light that seems bright enough to
see my surroundings before resting a palm over my stomach, giving it a few subtle rubs with a light sigh.
