Female Dormitories

@Nyx He squeezed her reassuringly. Now was not the time to get all emotional. He had a job to do in order to keep his meister safe and one of the things he needed to do was keep her focused and talking. He had no idea if what had bitten her was poisonous or not but if it was then he couldn't let her fall asleep. "I had a lot of thinking to do. What the heck were you doing out here in the middle of the night anyway?"

@Styx Tears stung her eyes as she held her arm and she didn't even see what was going on as she was lifted into a pair of familiar arms. The salty droplets trickled down her cheeks and she curled up against him, seeking his warmth and his comfort. "Styx..." she mumbled softly. "Did you come back for me?" It was honestly all she could think of to say and if she hadn't been bleeding she would have hugged the dear life out of him.

@Nyx Hearing the distress and not really knowing who it was Styx headed towards the sound. He was surprised to find Nyx there bleeding and in pain. Without a second thought he set the cats down and sent his fuzzy minions off to find the creature that dared to harm his meister. A moment later he had scooped her up and was sprinting off to the infirmary where he prayed that Miss Aurora had returned to after she had left him. Otherwise it was going to be a long night of hunting someone down to help his meister.

@Styx At long last it seemed as if she had finally found the shoe in the dark. A triumphant grin curled on her lips as she reached down for it and tugged it up out of the bush into the light. The thing she thought was he footwear hissed and bit her soft pale forearm before she could throw it somewhere off into the distance. With a yell she fell onto her backside and whimpered, holding her arm which was bleeding just slightly from where the snake had sunk its fangs.

@Nyx The longer he stood there the more depressed he became. She was angry and apparently refusing to answer her door. Although the nurse had told him otherwise his mind was taunting him with the fact that the older weapon could be in there right now with his meister and they could be doing things that he didn't even want to think about. Fighting back tears he clung to the cats as he turned and walked away from the door. If she wanted him to leave her alone he would. Exiting the girls dorm he began to make his way back to his own room.

@Styx The first shoe was easy enough to find. It was pretty much directly below the window she had tackled him out of and as she held it in her hand she smiled at the memory. Although it was just a few hours ago it seemed like a lifetime and she wondered just what had happened to make their journey such a rollercoaster.

The matching shoe was not so easy to find. At first she looked where his friends had hidden in the bushes because that was where she threw it but looking into a shadow in the dark was difficult at best. From her place crouched on the ground she couldn't hear anything but crickets let alone the soft knock on her door.

@Nyx Upon reaching the girl's room he began to have second thoughts. His pep talk with the nurse had helped but she was no longer there to support him. He fidgeted, all that stood between him and her was the door and he wasn't sure that he wanted to change that. The cat on his shoulder gave a soft mew as if telling him that it supported him. Taking a deep breath he exhaled and knocked softly on her door.

It was hard to say how long the walk from the park back to the dorms was for Nyx. It felt like an eternity and she wasn't sure if it was simply because she was alone or because she was still clinging to the hope that maybe Styx was there waiting for her. Of course upon entering her own room and seeing it empty she realized just how foolish it was. "So stupid." she mumbled to herself as she climbed out of her window and went looking for her shoes in the dark.

@Mars Mina followed behind the pair making sure that the young meister wasn't harmed. Heaven forbid she have to deal with a psycho weapon in the morning because something happen to the woman. Closing her door she made sure that it was locked before now leading the way out of the dorms. Hopefully by the time they returned her former weapon would have taken care of things and the young man would be back where he belonged.

@Mina "Park sounds wonderful." he responded for both him and the girl he was carrying. Without another word he took the shoe that the younger weapon had left behind and placed it on Nyx's feet before taking her towards the door. He opened it and brought her through carefully, making sure that his precious cargo received neither bump nor bruise from his carelessness.

@Mina There was no denying the shock she felt as she was lifted into the air a rested on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Things were quickly getting out of her control, as if they ever had been, and she found herself sort of like a passenger in her own life. "Park?" she asked, knowing full well that she didn't have a say in it either way.

@Mars Mina paid no mind to her students statement. Yes they did have class tomorrow and should probably be calling it a night, yes there were things that both she and Mars needed to do, but she was in no way going to let the girl go back to her room feeling the way she was. Mina smiled at her partner. They might not have been able to help the young weapon but Mars had always been good at making women feel better when they were blue. He had a way with women that she didn't understand but if it helped the meister she was okay with it. "I was thinking the park. Beautiful trees, lots of grass and wide open space, and the fountain is always lit up at night and just looks beautiful."

@Mina The way that the younger meister just seemed to shut herself down was almost heartbreaking for him to watch and he wasn't going to let that happen. "Nope. I don't think so lil miss." he replied as he walked over and picked the girl up, placing her over his shoulder. "So. What super awesome place did you wanna go Mina?"

@Mina By the time Mina made her suggestion Nyx had finished her hot chocolate and set the mug on the table. There wasn't much that she could say or do and she felt really bad for ruining their night. It seemed like the two of them were having fun before she got there and brought the whole mood down with her problems. "Oh no. It's okay. I should go to my room and get ready for classes tomorrow anyway." she said and forced a small smile before she bowed politely to both of the teachers. "Thank you for the hot chocolate and everything."

@Mars "Well," Mina felt just as lost as Mars must have but decided that they needed to do something in order to cheer the younger meister up as they waited for Aurora to work her magic. "it won't really do us any good to sit here and feel sorry for ourselves. I know that I have a lot of work that needs to get done before class tomorrow but I feel like we could all use a bit of fresh air and a change of scenery." Moping about wasn't going to fix the problems that they were struggling with and sitting in the room filled with awkwardness really wasn't going to help the situation.

@Mina For once Mars was a little relaxed knowing that Aurora was on the case. That girl might not have seemed like much of a death scythe but it was exactly those characteristics that made her such a wonderful friend. She was bubbly, sweet, and downright adorable pretty much 24/7. In fact, he wasn't sure he had ever seen her angry or sad about anything.

"Alright so what do we do now?" He asked and glanced between the meisters. Mars didn't have any idea what to do or anything of the sort but he was hoping one of them would be able to direct him.

@Mina Sounds from somewhere nearby slowly pulled her out of herself and she realized that Mina was talking about Styx to someone on the phone. Her ears practically perked up when she realized that but she became sad again when Mina mentioned how depressed he was. At least park of that was her fault and she felt bad but there was nothing she could do now.

Instead she just sipped the hot chocolate quietly, intending to finish the drink and go back to her room. Maybe Styx would be there waiting for her and they could talk about whatever weird things happened between them. That was her hope anyway.

@Mina It had been another long day at the infirmary for Aurora, first days usually were and this was no different. There were plenty of minor injuries from unsupervised duels and meisters trying to use weapons that were not compatible to them, the usual. She was glad to be off of her shift and heading towards her room when she heard her phone ring.

"Hola babycakes!" she answered cheerfully but bit her lip as the situation was described to her. "Male weapon without a meister currently depressed. I can find him in no time. Don't worry about a thing." Aurora blew a kiss into the phone before hanging up and used her vision to try and locate the pained soul. After a few moments of scanning she honed in and headed towards the male dorm.

@Mars Mina had no idea what had just happened and feared for what the weapon would do now that he was separated from his meister. They caused enough trouble together. Setting the shoe on the table Mina went to a table over by her television. Picking up the phone receiver she dialed the number of her favorite death scythe and prayed that she answered. At the third ring she smiled at Aurora's voice.

"Hey sweetness we have a bit of a situation. None of us here really know how to handle it but we figure that it would be right up your alley. There's a weapon that just left here looking...rather depressed and I'm a little worried about him. Do you think there would be anyway that you could find him and make sure that he's alright?"

@Mina At the exit of the weapon and then the sudden mood drop from the lovely girl Mars realized that he too was out of his depth of knowledge. Something was going on between the two that was deeper than just some weird incident and he was severely lacking in information on all counts. Mars could offer nothing other than a very confused look to his partner and scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah. That would probably be for the best."

@Styx Watching Styx just leave like that was something that she couldn't explain. He seemed just so broken that she didn't quite know what to do. None of it made any sense to her at all but she decided just to let happen. If he wanted space then she would give it to him. He was probably just going to leave her when their time was up anyway so she figured it was best to distance herself from him.

The girl's face fell slightly and she dropped her gaze to her hot chocolate which somehow seemed less important than it had been. Not even the presence of Mars could get her from thinking about the boy who had just left. She wasn't sure if it was her pride that was hurting or something else altogether. The stupid hot chocolate didn't have any answers.

@Styx Mina was completely floored by the turn of events. One minute the weapon was radiating enough blood lust to put her on the defensive and the next he had shut down and left. She stared at the shoe in her hand. Something told Mina that the weapon shouldn't be acting that way. She was prone to violence whenever she got mad or something happened that was beyond her control and on a certain level she felt that the young man that had just left her room was the same way. Turning to the other occupants in the room she looked questioningly at them before stating, "I think I need to call Aurora."

@Nyx Things had just gone from bad to worse. The older male knew exactly what he was doing which set the young weapon even more on edge. He had just gone through hell to find his meister so that they could work things out and he could apologize for whatever it was that he had done at the cafe and this happens. Seriously?! Could his day possibly get any worse? Deciding that it was time to run up the white flag Styx handed his partners shoe to the teacher that was preventing him from throwing it anyway.

"If she plans on going anywhere would you make sure that she isn't walking barefoot anymore today. I don't want her to hurt herself. I'll be...going." With that being said the weapon, head held high despite his appearance, stepped back out of the door and closed it behind him.

@Mina Something passed over the face of the young girl as he handed her the drink and it was hard not to know what it was. He had been a teacher at the school for a few years and had seen many guys and girl looking at him with that same expression. She had a crush on him and for once he wasn't that bothered by it. Instead he just returned the smile and put his hands in his pockets.

Like everyone else his attention went once again back to the young weapon and he arched an eyebrow curiously. Whatever it was he was planning Mina was putting a stop to it so he decided to let it pass. She was more than capable of dealing with the unruly boy. "The last thing we need is some sort of scandal." he mumbled.

@Mina As Mars handed her the cup of hot chocolate their hands touched briefly and she brought the mug in close to her chest as if it were a valuable and fragile treasure. "Thank you." she said softly and smiled shyly up at the male, hiding it as best as she could by taking blowing over the top of her beverage. Receiving such a treat from him was more than she had ever really dreamed of and she sorta almost completely forgot about her weapon until Mina spoke.

Almost like waking from a dream she turned her attention back to Styx and furrowed her brow. Something weird was going on with him and she just didn't know how to handle him. Instead of responding to him she just sat back down on the couch with her drink and decided to let the more experienced meister deal with his shenanigans.

@Styx Mina chuckled slightly at Nyx denying that she had done severe damage to the weapon. Not that she could fault the woman if she had, god only knows that she would have. She watched the emotions playing across the young weapon's face and was slightly relieved that he appeared to still be in one piece. When Mars handed the girl the hot chocolate she saw the wheels in the weapon's head turning. Thoughts were running through her own head as pieces of the puzzle that were these two were slowly coming together. When she saw the shoe raised she quickly grabbed his arm. "Now now. There will be none of that here. Lord only knows you've caused enough trouble for one day. Get inside before people start to talk."

@Nyx Seeing her safe did him more good then he was willing to admit. Hearing her concern for him just took that feeling to another level. "I'm fine. I just tripped." The male weapon handing her a cup of something had Styx frowning. The man offering him some made him slightly less angry but him calling Nyx dear was the straw that broke the camel's back. His first instinct was to lunge at the man and beat him to a bloody pulp. Although he probably wouldn't actually win he was still willing to try. As he went to take a step the weight of the shoe in his hand made him pause. He had a better idea! Lifting the shoe he planned to chuck it at the weapon's head.

@Mina The weapon hadn't even heard anything that was going on out there between the two females, happily in his own world making hot chocolate for the girl. When he came out again he was greeted by the sight of the male weapon standing in the door, looking as if he had just been through a wood chipper. "Maybe I should make you some too." he said as he walked over to Nyx and handed her the mug. "Careful dear, it's hot."

@Mina The knock on the door had been so quiet that she hadn't even heard it so when Mina got up her brows furrowed together in slight confusion. When she opened the door and spoke Nyx turned to see her partner standing on the other side, looking like hell. "I didn't do that." she said as she stood and fought the urge to rush over and make sure he was okay. If she helped him there was no guarantee that he wouldn't do something just as creepy in the future so she stood her ground. "Are you okay?"

@Styx Having successfully calmed the girl a bit Mina wondered what it would be like to have a partner as derpy as the young weapon seemed to be. The knock was so quiet she almost didn't hear it. Rising out of her crouch Mina moved a piece of hair from the girl's face giving her a reassuring smile before walking to the door. To say Mina was startled was an understatement. A small chuckle bubbled up in and she did her best to choke it back down. The boy boy looked like he had been mauled by a bear. "Should I even ask...?"
