@Jase "Proof?" she asked and tilted her head curiously even though she had a slight feeling that she probably didn't want to know. Young men were interesting in that sometimes they really didn't need to be encouraged because they were cocky enough. Aurora had an inkling that when it came to his body he was certainly one of them.
Like many of the young men at the school before him he was doing his absolute best to flirt with her and she couldn't deny that she was enjoying every second of it. Aurora laughed softly at his statement, watching his face as he realized what he said made no real sense but she wasn't going to draw attention to it. Instead she moved on to the introductions, extending a pale hand to him. "Aurora Bellona. It's nice to meet you." she replied.
@Aurora He shrugged his shoulders at her reply. "I guess, didn't know you work out. But I do too, I even have proof," the male smiles. Seemingly to be proud of his body that was underneath his clothes.
"Oh," was all he can say. Judging by her curves and clothes that outlined the nice figure, he couldn't disagree with her. Not that he would have a massive nose bleeds from seeing her in a bikini, it is just, she really does have a nice figure. "Oh well, you see-- maybe if you ever see me swimming, you probably faint too. Plus, I don't need to be carried. A real man can carry himself--" ',' Jase thought. It was too late when the male spoke with a stupid remark that had made no sense. Mentally facepalming himself, he crosses his arms and rolls his eyes to hide the stupid remark. Hoping the female won't realize the illogical sentence. "I forgot, but name's Jase. Jase Rei. You are?"
@Mina "And who is your room mate?" Vetis asked, raising an eyebrow with an indulgent smile on his face, he wasn't going to let her go but he was willing to let her think he might. "I wouldn't want to cause anyone any unneeded worry, but you do know that a little fun is good for you right?" He asked, flashing her a grin before he shrugged and straightened up. "However, if you really want to say no, and you're sure you want to say no. I guess I'll have to go be lonely tonight." He said with a heavy sigh.
@Vetis This man was totally throwing her off. Never had there been a person like him aside from the weapon that she was currently paired with. "I try NOT to do that because they tend to cause more damage than anything else that they do." Smiling uncomfortably she shifted back towards the shelving.
"As for coming to your place...I have a roommate who will worry if I don't show up tonight. He's such a worrywart when it comes to that type of thing." Her mind was giving her fantasies of what would be going on but she was fighting that side of herself.
@Mina "Ahh yeah, I leave my little demons to themselves." Vetis admitted with a small shrug, it was no secret that he didn't like kids all that much. He didn't even know why he was a teacher, he wasn't the most helpful and he had a tendency to be strict with his class. But with all the annoyingly cutesy girls who took his classes just because they heard the teacher was hot, he kind of had to be. "So Mina, what are you doing later?" He asked, his grin back full force now. "If you're not busy, why don't you let me take you home? I have a hot tub, and I've been told I'm pretty good with my hands."
@Vetis "I'm Mina. Homeroom teacher to the hellions that attend DWMA." Her blush returned full force. Between his compliments and his behavior her brain had pretty much shut down. She was confused by his reaction to her. Sure most guys found her attractive but the minute they took things to far she would slap them and they would flee. Vetis just continued to press his luck and she had no type of defense for that. Mars she knew how to handle, this man, she did not. "I tend to keep holed up in my classroom so that my students know where to find me when they have problems. That could possibly be why we haven't met before."
@Mina "Well that's easy to fix." Vetis chuckled and bowed politely, straightening up with a charming smile, "I'm Vetis, I'm a teacher here." He explains with a soft chuckle. "And you?" He asks, raising one eyebrow and looking her over slowly. "I don't know how we haven't met before, I must not have been looking in the right places or something. Because you are stunning." He said, shaking his head a little bit and sighing wistfully. "All these wasted months... I'm almost ashamed of myself."
@Vetis "To be completely fair over half of the romance novels in this library wouldn't be considered as on their best days." Mina was slightly bewildered by his behavior. Most people went running from her the minute she turned her violent side on them...except for Mars of course...and this man. What were the odds that there were multiple individuals that she couldn't discourage in the same vicinity as her. Knowing Death, however, these things had been planned. Sighing she attempted to keep herself slightly more composed.
"As much as I appreciate the compliment I think that a night with you would be anything but relaxing. There is also the matter of I have no idea who you are!" He was gorgeous enough that she would have left with him but she had morals damnit and she would stick to them.
@Mina "Ow... okay I deserved that." Vetis groaned, rubbing his sore cheek and raising an eyebrow as she made the comment about why she wanted the book. "You're trying to find a ty romance novel to 'relax' to?" He asked, air quoting the word 'relax' and giving her a very pointed look. "So I restate my question , what does a gorgeous woman like you need with a romance novel? I can help you relax baby, and you'll enjoy it so much more." He promised, smirking lightly and winking at her. She really was gorgeous, he'd love to take her home and help her relax all night long if he could. However his still stinging cheek were making the odds of that look pretty damn slim. Such a shame too, but he was nothing if not determined and stubborn, he wouldn't give up just from one slap on the face.
@Vetis To say she was startled would have been an understatement. Turning to get a good look at her "assailant" she was struck for a moment by how attractive he was. His attractiveness didn't excuse the way that he was handling her so forwardly. Rearing back her arm she smacked him across the face. Her face flamed red at his previous questions. 'Of all the nerve!'
"Not that it's really any of your business but I'm trying to hunt down a good book to try and RELAX to. Also I do have a male staying with me but, ew." The thought of her actually doing anything like THAT with Mars brought bad mental pictures. Not that Mars wasn't attractive but they had known each other for too long, been through too much together for her to think of him that way. They were more like siblings...siblings that liked to get on the others nerves.
@Mina Vetis couldn't say he was doing anything productive, but then again he rarely ever was. He wasn't over motivated, and he really didn't care much about his job. He taught the class, steered the over eager girls away from his office hours, and looked for ways to fill his boring hours. He was lucky though, the school was filled with exactly his kind of entertainment. As he walked into the library he couldn't help but grin to himself as he saw a very beautiful woman scanning the book shelves. She was gorgeous and the dress she was wearing hugged her in just the right places, she was absolutely stunning and Vetis didn't waste time in walking up to her, taking a moment to make note of what section she was looking at. "Now why would a stunning woman like you need a romance novel? Isn't your man taking care of you properly?" He purred, one arm moving to wrap around her waist while the other moved her hair aside so he could press a soft kiss to her neck.
@Vetis Mina had stopped off at the library in search of reading material to help cure her insomnia. The start of the new year always brought with it a new work load which meant too much thinking and not enough relaxing. Her favorite way to unwind was with a good romance novel and a nice relaxing bubble bath. Sadly her students tended to keep her on her toes so it was hard to find quiet moments to just stop and enjoy the finer things in life.
Browsing the shelves she was slightly dismayed to see that her normal section of classical romance had been slimmed down considerably since the prior year. Making a face at the shelf she skimmed it to see if there was anything left that she hadn't read before continuing her search. Her fingers danced on the spines of books as she walked the expanse from one shelf to the next hoping to find something that had been misfiled or looked interesting enough to catch her eye.
@Jase It was a compliment and she couldn't help but to laugh softly at it, inwardly admiring the youth's gumption. He certainly had a feisty confidence which she was used to from the males around his age, each of them trying to do stupid things to get her attention. At least he was forward and she liked that, even if it was a little foolish. "Well if I am too active then the soft spots start to fade. It's a delicate balance really." she replied with a soft smile.
Aurora's delicate eyebrow arched ever so slightly as she caught him in a lie, mentally noting that him biting his lower lip was his tell. His question caught her off guard and she laughed outright at him, tilting her head as if she couldn't believe the words coming from his mouth. "You'd probably sprout a nosebleed like old faithful and then faint if that ever happened." she teased and placed her hand on her hip as she took her turn looking him over. Young, handsome, and bold. Just her kryptonite but she would have to resist. "Don't make me carry you to the infirmary. I can but I just had my nails done and I don't want to chip them for some y student just yet."
@Aurora "What kind of lazy woman with that figure?" he was complimenting her at the same time, but for a person at his age, shouldn't be speaking to a nurse like that. None of the less, it was true, the woman on the other side of the shelf had a really nice figure. One in which he thought, was better than the one shown in the picture of the model.
"I was interested--" he quickly lied, trying to hide the fact that there is a picture within the book. Biting down on his lower lip when he got caught was a habit of his. One that he doesn't like having, but couldn't help to. "Sure is free, but I'm not the type to be watching those," the male shook his head quickly. "Plus, I think seeing you in a bikini would be a lot better?" He glanced her figure up and down.
@Jase Distraction found her as she was reaching for a book through the shelf only to have it disappear, taking by a young male student. "Hey now, even I can get lazy. What would be the point of walking all the way to the other side if I could look at it and decide whether I wanted it without taking a step?" she asked as she picked up the volume she mentioned, making a face as she read the title. "I've met Death so I don't need to read any books, even allegorical about the subject." The book was a disappointment but with any luck the boy wouldn't be, at least not when it came to being entertaining.
"What are you doing here then? And reading this crap nonetheless..." she asked as she slid the book onto the shelf. It must have been at just the right angle to catch the loose page inside. A picture of a well-endowed woman in a fire red bikini slipped out and everything started to make sense. Aurora laughed softly and shook her head at him as she regarded the image, comparing her own impressive measurements with those of the model. "You know, you could always just get on the internet. Pretty sure the is still free."
@Aurora Jase, the new student arriving at DWMA, has no clue where to stay, looking for "fun" As usual, the delinquent strolled around the area, and weirdly enough, ended up in the library. Without any thoughts, the male stuck his hands into his pockets, observing the library out of boredom.
Surprisingly enough a book caught his eye, "When Life meets Death." "Woww," the male tilt the head of the book down to take it off the shelf. However, his attention was diverted with someone who met his eyes on the other side of the shelf. Seeing the grown attractive woman who happen to look at the same book he was, her hand reaching out towards it. "Isn't it weird for you to reach a book that's the other side of the shelf?" Jase stated bluntly, handing the book to her as he placed back onto the shelf. What was his reason for getting the book for a guy who looks like he doesn't read? Well.. he could simply swear he saw a picture of model in bikini, sticking out in the corner of the page.
@Jase Rows upon rows of books lined the shelves on the walls of the library, everything in perfect order as per usual as Aurora scanned them for her next read. It was the beginning of the year at the DWMA and things were going a little slow for the nurse. This crop of students seemed unusually careful and less accident prone which made her job a little boring. Then with them picking up all of her missions to keep humanity safe it left just about nothing for the death scythe to do.
Aurora wasn't really the type to chase tail in her boredom or cause trouble and she was all caught up on her television series so that only left reading. Unfortunately nothing was catching her attention either and she sighed. It was as if life was conspiring to make her do something crazy and she had no choice but to follow its direction. Still she prayed for a distraction, anything other than a book.
mianhee bit Dimsum will leave, I'm with a few OOC issues ans honestly most of the time my character is inactive and for that i will be leaving
Mianhee ~
I hate to do this because I really have a soft spot for my two characters but I would like to let them go... I don't feel like it's fair for me too take up two such popular face claims. Thank you for having me and maybe I can come back in the future when I'm less busy.
