^ Music Practice Room

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Clover nodded lightly. "Alright, I'll take a note at that." She said, putting her water bottle on the floor. The trainee didn't mind on his comments on her singing as she's is learning more and still improves day by day.

At Sunggyu's approach, she listened and sit up straighter. She was somehow surprised and taken aback with him suddenly taking her hand quite roughly but just go along with the flow. As he told her to sing the chorus again, she starts singing it like she did earlier.

"Everywhere I'm looking now,
I'm surrounded by your embrace

@[T] Clover Yang "You're not using your diaphragm correctly." Sunggyu said almost right after she had finished her next song. "Straining your throat would just make things worse." Her high notes were fairly good, though some were slightly off, perfectionist he was, he could spot things others couldn't. Maybe that's why he had locked each and every member of his in the vocal room for hours before they come out, almost on the edge of punching him sometimes.

Sunggyu approached Clover and gestured her with his index finger. "Sit up straighter." He was blocking one side of the space between the piano and the chair, he wasn't asking her to leave, just to stand. Then he took her hand, rather roughly, and placed her own palm at her diaphragm, his hand on top of hers. "Now sing the chorus again." He wanted her to feel for herself.

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Shrugging away as her senior only gave her a discreet answer, she kept singing with her fingers gliding on the piano keys.

Hitting the high notes of the song perfectly as the song ending, Clover was already glad that her singing is improving day by day. She wasn't that into singing as much as rapping and dancing but her teacher asked her to give a try in singing for there might be a chance where she could debut as a triple threat in her future group.

Who knows? It might just come true.

"Halo~~~~~~" She finished the song with a smile plastered on her face, satisfied with her improvement. Clover took her water bottle once again and took a few sips of water.

@[T] Clover Yang "Mm.." Sunggyu gave a discreet answer. She was right, he haven't been hanging around the trainees as much as he did before. Being caught up with practice and schedule had made him lost touch with the newer addition to the big family.

Sunggyu went back to doing his own business when she started to play again. His fingers swiping the screen of his twitter account, the fans left quite a lot of tweets on his page. No matter how much he tried, he was listening in to the song she was singing again. Why was he this drawn into her singing? His head was never tilted upwards, just diligently bowing at his phone.

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu After drinking a few sips of water , she took a deep breath trying to get a grip of herself . Getting sad emotions while singing is not that hard for her but it is when she tries to get over it. At his sudden question , she turn her gaze and answered with a nod.

"Clover Yang. Well I'm still new in this company so you haven't seen me around before." She stated , getting another idea on a song to sing. Her fingers are already playing on the piano and she started to sing Halo by Beyonce.

@[T] Clover Yang It wasn't hard for Sunggyu to catch her action of wiping her face even though she wasn't facing him. He wouldn't probe her anymore since she had push his concerns away, digging any further wouldn't earn him any benefit anyway. "Mm.." He merely acknowledged her response. He twisted his arm to an angle as he glance at his wrist watch, he still had lots of time left in his hands and it seem as though the girl isn't going to move out of the room any time soon either.

"Yah, what's your name?" For the longest time, this girl had not introduce herself to him. There wasn't a need for him to do it since everyone would have known him for being part of ACES.

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Clover immediately quickly wipe her going-to-fall-off tears before facing Sunggyu and nodded.

"I'm fine... just swaying my feelings along with the song earlier. It adds in more points in my perfomances." She softly chuckled before taking a sip of water from her water bottle.

@[T] Clover Yang Sunggyu was concentrating on his music that were sounding off deep in his ears. At the corner of his eyes he saw the girl playing off on the piano. Curiosity killed the cat, as he plugged out one of the ear piece and caught on to her playing. She was singing as her fingers smoothly press on each key to the song, Hurt by Christina Aguilera.

The way she had sang the song, it was exceptionally emotional. A different feeling to the original version of the song. It felt more personal for some reason. Not until she ended the song, did he make his presence known.

"Yah... You okay?" Sunggyu asked her. He was still seated at the bench, not going anywhere near to her. It was just both of them in the room anyway.

As Sunggyu got up and went to sit at the nearby bench , she silently cheered that she finally get to use the piano. Her fingers need their exercise too you know. Clover have already planned on what would she play. Her coach did ask her to find a song which she can sing and play the piano as well.

A light bulb moment came to her as she immediately played the song that have a great impact towards her love life. Christina Aguilera's Hurt. As she sang with her fingers playing the piano keys , memories of him started to show like a movie. She sometimes has this habit of singing it emotionally that always add up her perfomance skills. Tears starting to brim onto her eyes but it won't stop her from singing without any halts. As she sing the song perfectly , she finished and took a deep breath.

@[T] Clover Yang Sunggyu has stubborn for his middle name, almost no one can change his mind after he had settled on one. He stood up with his phone in his hand, swiping down the playlist as he took a seat at he nearby bench instead. He stuck his earpiece into his ear again, silencing what the girl had to say. Well, two can play at the game, he didn't have schedule till later, he can practice later then.

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu "Living up to your image eh?" Clover chuckled a little. "You should try a different song then. The one you're practicing now might be too complicated for your fingers. Too much force can break them you know." She stated as her fingers glide onto the piano keys playing a tune.

Some of her new trainee mates told her about her fellow senior's side to them; the opposite of the romantic which they all would get scared and never bother him again.

@[T] Clover Yang Sunggyu crossed his arms in front of his chest, "I'm practicing to impress girls." He was hoping that she would bounce off his words. His intensive practices were obviously for impressing girls, he just didn't want to tell the trainee what he was doing. In his words, she should mind her own business. Most trainees would have seen this side of Sunggyu, cold, heartless, the less expressive side of him, and normally it would have scared them off.

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu She heard the chuckle but went on as if she didn't hear a thing. "Nope. I'm already done for the day. What were you practicing for anyway?" She asked , turning her gaze towards Sungyu.

"You should do more hand exercises before playing , that'll stop the stumbling." Clover said , stretching her fingers slowly.

@[T] Clover Yang Sunggyu kept his cool when the girl had sat beside him on the small bench. He lets out a scornful chuckle when she played the part that he had problems with all these while. He removed his hand from the keys and watched her play. Without missing a key, she finished it. He didn't even tell her what piece he was playing.

"Missy, don't you have practice to go to?" Sunggyu lets out a sigh and finally gave in to the haughty trainee girl.

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu She smirked when the prideful senior couldn't seem to hide his embarrassment. Keeping her bottle in her bag again and zipped it , not moving an inch from the bech even though he just told her off like that.

As Sungyu began to start practicing again, she sighed and slightly rolled her eyes. He ignored her question earlier. Fine , two can play at that game well. Clover bravely sat beside him and played the part where he usually got it wrong perfectly without any mistakes. She recognized the song for it's really familliar.

@[T] Clover Yang Embarrassed was written all over prideful Sunggyu's face no matter how much he tried to cover it up with his actions. Had he repeated the song more than six times? He didn't realize the soreness in his fingers, until it started creeping up now.

"Well, you shouldn't be sneaking around like this. It's rude." He told her off slightly. He was hoping that the girl had found him a little too strict to be socializing around with. But she was unique, compared to the other trainees who are shy and stuff, the first time they had met.

Sunggyu began sticking his earpiece back on. Once again, he was walling himself up away from others, like he always does.

Clover showed almost no reaction towards her senior's shouting earlier. She had observed the way he played earlier and it's almost like the same part where she used to get stuck with her fingers when she was young and then her grandpapa taught her a trick that made her hamds glide real quick on the piano keys.

At Sungyu's question , again she didn't show any reaction towards him and shrugged. "You repeated the song around 'six' times , that's how 'long' I've been here." Clover said , putposely emphasize the number of times he have been doing the same mistake. "What song are you playing anyway?" The trainee asked, taking a sip of her water bottle.

@[T] Clover Yang It was that part again that he had fingers tied up and stumbled. He grabbed the sides of his short hair and clenched up his fist. "What is wrong with me!" He shouted, almost wanting to hit the piano keys with his knuckles. Then at the corner of his eyes, he saw a figure sitting on the bench near the door. He reacted quickly by pulling his earpiece down from his ears, suffering the pain of the hard tug in silence as he rubbed on his hurting ears. "W-when did you get here?!" He stood up and exclaimed. Had she seen everything that he was doing?

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Having some free time , Clover decided to go the music practice room. She missed playing the piano and the guitar as she hasn't been playing any of the instruments for some time; being busy with her schedule and all. Who says that being a trainee is easy? As she opened the door , she quickly retreated behind the door and sneak in a glance.

"Isn't that Sungyu from Ace?" She silently thought and tip-toed inside not wanting to disturb her fellow senior. Even though she just came here , she still gotta know her seniors. Taking a seat on a nearby bench , she put her bag and listened to him practicing.

Sunggyu massaged the back of his neck as he tried to relax his tensed up spine after the long hour of sitting at the piano bench practicing. The sun, certainly not his best friend, was shining in through the binds as though they didn't exist. With his short hair scrunched up in his palm, he groaned as the deadline for the performance was drawing nearer. He tapped his feet on the wooden floor as he rewind the song in his phone, starting from the top again for the number of times that he had lost count, there was just this one part at the bridge where he couldn't get it out smoothly. With both earpiece plugged in his ear, he was unaware of his surroundings, making him a little vulnerable, but it doesn't matter.
