* Plot Room #2: 안녕 동생 (Hello Little Brother)

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Lu Han glanced to his side as he heard the whisper of his name, his eyes staring at the familiar person who entered the room. His brows scrunched, confused a bit before he stood up in surprise. "Sunggyu hyung..?" he murmured, his expression slowly evolving from a confused one to that of shock. "What are you doing here..?" His mind whirled, it was so unlikely that the other person would step inside his house. Not many people do that, even his father's colleagues.

Something was up, and he had to know what it is.

A few moments later, he heard footsteps, another person had entered the room. Lu Han already knew who it is before he looked. The sight of his father made his expression tense a little bit. For some reason, he is having a hunch that whatever would happen in a few moments inside the living room would be something he wouldn't forget.. in a bad way.

@[T] Lu Han "Annyeonghasaeyo.. Uhm, is Uncle Lu in?" Sunggyu said rather politely to the lady who had opened the door for him. Of course he is in, that's why he was being called upon in the first place isn't it? The lady smiled at the boy as she motioned him into the huge living hall, Sunggyu bowed profusely at her as he officially stepped into the house. This is most probably the first time he is seeing a house at least 5 times the size of his own. The living hall had already taken the size of his entire shabby apartment. His eyes widen as he looked around in the interior of the bright living hall. "Woah..." He muttered to himself.

Was this what his biological father was living off? You mean, all these could be his from the moment he was born. There was an unknown fiery that had hit him. He and his mother could be living happily under this roof, and even getting better care and treatment for her illness. For some reason, Sunggyu felt that his father was one of the reason why his mother had passed.

His eyes had finally finish exploring the house, that's when his eyes landed on a figure who is sitting on the posh looking couch. "Lu... han?" Then it all suddenly made sense. Mr Lu, Lu Han. Lu Han was his biological father's other son? His new friend was his half brother?

@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu The sound of a doorbell ringing made Luhan look up of the book that he is reading silently on the couch inside the living room. It was weird, hearing that sound. Normally it would be just their butler going inside the room and talking to his father, or to him in some ocassions, about a visitor that is needing their presence in the lobby. He scrunched his nose and stood up.

"Is this supposed to be something that I need to do?" he mumbled to himself, but just sat down once again when he saw a maid running off along to the direction of the door. He sighed softly.

Luhan wasn't supposed to be in here out of all the times, but he was forced to come home by his father, who had called him just yesterday night, ordering him to come home because of whatever reason it is. The voice coming through the phone to his ears alone was enough to make him go pack and run off back home.

"Whatever this is all about, I hope it's worth it."

Sunggyu took a deep breathe before pressing on the doorbell. He had no idea why he was called upon. He had already enough handling his mother's passing just days ago. Emotionally turmoiled, his mother's will revealed his dark past. Ever since he started schooling, he knew he was the odd one out in school. Everyone had a mom and a dad, but Sunggyu only had his mother. It wasn't ever a bad thing, he never asked about his father knowing it would hurt his mother. He grew up matured and independent, he didn't need a father in his life.

All that was said in his mother's letter to him was to go to the house where his father resided. No matter how much he didn't want it, he abided to his mother's last words. His main motive for that night, was just to let his father know, that he had a son called Kim Sunggyu. He needed nothing else from him.

His finger trembled as he reached over to the doorbell, after all, he was going to see his biological father for the first time in 25 years. Different thoughts about how his father was like ran through his mind. Would he look anything like himself? Would he be a wrinkly old man walking on a cane? Would he be a kind hearted father who already had grand children? What was he going to call him? Appa? Ahjussi? Sunsaengnim?

@[T] Kim Sunggyu Lu Han looked at Sunggyu curiously, tilting his head. He seemed to have received some really bad news with the way that he is acting. LU Han was never one to be really good at reading a person's state or behavior, it is just that the older looked really.. how can he say it.. about ready to pull his hair off and run as fast as he can somewhere. He just nodded in response, thinking of what he should do.

"E-ermm.. Yeah. And thank you." he answered, though the other was already out of the door and sprinting out into the street. Lu Han quietly, inhaled and looked at the food once again, taking one large scoop of the food and feeding himself with it. "I hope he's alright.." he whispered to himself, not being able to take his mind off of what had just happened.

Sunggyu was laughing heartily at their current conversation, when he felt a wave of vibration in his jeans pocket. He took out his phone and saw an unknown number. "Sorry about that, I better pick this up." He said lowering his head a few times as he got out of his seat. He had a worried expression on his face as he left the table. His pace fastened as he walked out of the sight of them three.

His nightmares turned real, a call from the hospital.

Sunggyu returned with a disheartened and panicky look. "It's an emergency. I have to leave." He picked up his belongings from his seat. He turned to Luhan and gave him an apologetic look, "I'm sorry, please enjoy the remaining of your meal. Take care and Happy Birthday Luhan." He told him and quickly left after giving a heavy pat on each other their broad shoulders.

Lu Han blinked at how the others reacted and he was slightly bombarded with questions. Every time he opens his mouth to say something as an answer, someone had already started talking, making him shut his mouth again with a sheepish smile on his face. Lu Han then decided that he would wait for all of them to finish talking.

When Chanyeol started talking though, he took Lu Han's answers away from his own mouth. He beamed, nodding at the agreement. "Yep! Just like that." he said, finally being able to talk, all of the others are looking at him with eyes waiting for some answers and he can't help but chuckle. "I was always being treated as the son of my father and i never had my own name or title for me. So i wanted to show them that i am capable of making a name for myself, by standing with my own two feet and starting to walk from down below the ground or in this case, walk from someone that is not that known to someone that is being recognized everywhere he goes." Lu Han smile sheepishly then. "But I know that i still have a really long way to go."

@[T] Lu Han Chanyeol had his full attention on Luhan by then, his eyes widening with slight surprise as he nodded at his friends' words. "A son of someone big..." Chanyeol tilted his head,his hands stalling;like it would help him register that small fact about Luhan,"Sunggyu hyung's right. You could have easily gotten into bigger companies,but...perhaps you wanted to achieve your goals with your own effort?"

That sounded like a logical reason,and one of the nicest reasons Chanyeol could think of.It's not like he knew much about Luhan since it was their first meeting; but something about Luhan made him nice and comfortable to be with...a little like Sunggyu. Chanyeol shunned his random thoughts away and waited for an answer from Luhan with wide eyes.

'Yah Kim Sunggyu! Put your fork down or you will hurt yourself!' Junhyung said as he glares at Sunggyu being a little childish and not being himself. 'You're the oldest here for goodness sake.... And you can buy that bag when you have the money....' He adds shaking his head before looking at Luhan.

'Yeah why are you here? Did you run away from home or something? Oh, and do we need to be careful around you when hanging out since you are the son of someone big?' Junhyung asked teasingly not knowing the true story.

Sunggyu quickly swallowed the piece of meat in his mouth and let out a laugh. "Yeah, I was practicing Insomnia and I caught him standing by the door with his branded luggage bag." He placed the fork and knife down with a soft cling before taking the serviette and wiping his mouth roughly. "I was really envy of the bag though. It had the prints all over and it would totally look good when you go to the airport and get captured holding that!" Sunggyu said really excitedly. It was perhaps the first time his friends heard that he was actually interested in expensive brandings.

Sunggyu then picked up the fork and pushed the green vegetable to the corner of the plate before poking on one of the already sliced smaller piece of meat. He turned to Luhan with his eyes widen, he used exaggerated actions to describe his following words, and the fork was still in his hand. "You mean, big like BIG?" He drew a big circle around him with both his arms. His past would explain his childish behavior when they spoke of Luhan's parents.

"But what brought you here? You could have easily got into SM Ent or some other bigger companies. Or just inherit your family's business and not suffer in the paws of evil..." He meant money. Half of the trainees here not only want to be famous, but it was also partly for money.

LuHan looked at the steak like it's something really heavenly with his eyes sparkling, grabbing the fork and the knife to eat it. His salad was long forgotten, just like an old childhood photo burned into ashes a long time ago. Using the sharp knife to cut a piece of the meat, he heard Chanyeol talking to him and he stopped momentarily to look at the other male.

He scrunched his nose and almost laughed at the sight that greeted him. Chanyeol was still stuck with his cheesecake like a long lost friend but all the others are enjoying the steak, food stuffed inside their mouths while chewing happily. The male then preceded to look around with a sheepish smile.

"I.." he started, not knowing how to explain the current situation well. He looked around the people surrounding him and he let out a soft sigh. "I'm kinda.. a son of someone.. big. Like.. owner of a large business type of big." he nodded, trying to say everything as vaguely as possible. he wouldn't want to tell them that he ran away from home after all cause he does not have any intention to come back when he was still reaching for his own dreams. "And i met Sunggyu hyung inside a music room while he was singing. I kinda.. listened to him like a stalker." he finished with a soft laugh, continuing his eating.

@[T] Lu Han Chanyeol could see death flashing before him as he coughed and sputtered, cheesecakes could be dangerous at times. Despite that, Chanyeol was sure his cheesecake would still be there. Chanyeol felt his glass got pushed back to him by Luhan and he was grateful, because he really needed a drink to clear his throat now. Chugging his drink down like his life depended on it because it really did, he heard Luhan say,"I think it really is not legal." And Chanyeol couldn't agree any less.

More dishes got served but Chanyeol faithfully stuck with his plate of cheesecake, Luhan and Sunggyu abandoning their bowl of salad for the steak as soon as it came.

"So," Chanyeol said with his mouth still full, turning to Luhan,"What do you do for a living? And how did you meet Sunggyu hyung?"

He was just plain curious; sure Sunggyu had his ring of friends, but to introduce Luhan to him and Junhyung had meant that Luhan was either really nice or special or both. Chanyeol could see that already, Luhan seemed like someone who people could get along well because he had the bright look in his eyes every time he smiled.

@[T] Kim Sunggyu Salad was served first and looking at Sunggyu, Junhyung knows that he had no choice but to just eat it. Once the other dishes are served, he notices that Sunggyu and Luhan had put aside their salad before drooling over the meat in front of them. Maybe Luhan also dislikes salad as much as Sunggyu does, Junhyung shrugs at the matter when he thought that the two of them might have similar actions.

A small smirk is form when Junhyung hears Sunggyu’s statement before he looks over at the other two – Chanyeol was eating as though he hadn’t eat for ages while Luhan seems to be enjoying his dish. ‘Eat slowly and you guys need to finish all of these dishes,’ Junhyhung said as he looks at the table almost full with food.

@[T] Lu Han Just moments later, their appetizers were served. Sunggyu poked around his salad, not one of his favorite dishes but he tore small pieces of them and put into his mouth before giving it a hard swallow and an odd face. Inside, he was hoping no one would notice him being picky about his food, again.

The other dishes got served. He poked the meat in front of him. Satisfied. The sharper edge of the knife went through the meat easily as Sunggyu cut up the piece of meat into smaller pieces before putting them into his mouth.

"I love you guys for ordering this..." Sunggyu said with his mouth still full. His eyes disappeared when the corner of his lips rose.

@[T] Park Chanyeol LuHan blinked as he looked at Chanyeol that was choking, his hand stopping midway in the cheer to give some time to look at the other. Laughing softly, he placed the glass back down and placed a hand on his mouth, pushing Chanyeol's drink back to him so he could drink. "I think it really is not legal." he stated with a sheepish smile.

@[T] Lu Han "When you're with Park Chanyeol,it's legal,"Chanyeol chuckled,winking towards Luhan.It wasn't a lie,but Chanyeol was in love with desserts so it wasn't like it mattered anyway.

Chanyeol flinched at the pain on his thigh,wondering why Sunggyu liked venting on his poor thigh so much."OUCH!"

Chanyeol's frown dissipated as soon as his eyes laid on a slice of ice-cream cheesecake that he specially ordered for himself. his lower lip,Chanyeol grinned as he stabbed it with his spoon and placed it in his mouth.Perfect.

But the others were suddenly wishing Luhan Happy Birthday,and Chanyeol panicked,trying to raise his glass up in time too but ended up choking on his cheesecake.

Junhyung chuckled when he sees Sunggyu venting his anger on Chanyeol and as the two are distracted, he called the waiter ordering for a proper and pleasant feast. 'Yeah, Happy Birthday!' Junhyung cheered raising his glass to Luhan while Chanyeol had start eating his desserts.

"No it's not legal!" Sunggyu gave a hard squeeze on Chanyeol's thigh, away from the sight of anyone. He looked at Luhan with a forced smile. "But let's dig in anyway? Happy Birthday!" Sunggyu had a clearer mind to not let the younger starve while waiting for the rest of the food to be served.

@Kim Sunggyu Luhan blinked at the three, watching them talk to each other as he stayed on his chair, smiling and chuckling softly here and there. The three were amusing at the least and they make him forget his problems at the moment.

Looking at the tray filled with food, he blinked, only seeing different kinds of desserts and laughed, hearing Sunggyu's exclamation at almost that exact time. He looked at Chanyeol and shook his head slowly. "are we supposed to eat the menu backwards? Like desserts first, up to the appetizers?" he asked then looked at Sunggyu. "Is that even legal?"

@Park Chanyeol "Really Yeol? Luhan meant beautiful?" Sunggyu eyes widen, he was made to believe that for several seconds, "Wait. This is one of your... theories again right..." Sunggyu had caught on to Chanyeol's huge grin.

Sunggyu and Junhyung gave Chanyeol the 'signal' to bring out the surprise feast that they had planned with just a few text messages. Then he saw the tray of desserts and drinks coming out along with the birthday cake. The tray of hearty desserts were placed in around the birthday cake. Sunggyu blinked hard, Wait, desserts? Then he looked at Chanyeol who was smiling like a Cheshire Cat, "YEOL! WHO EATS DESSERTS FIRST?!" Sunggyu had almost screamed at him in the posh restaurant.

@Kim Sunggyu "I wasn't!" Chanyeol pouted, eyeing Sunggyu,"If you translate 'Luhan', you'll get beautiful so I was just stating a fact."

Chanyeol saw Junhyung and Sunggyu signalling him, that it was his cue. He called the waiter, asking him to bring the food in. The waiter nodded before disappearing and appearing again with help with his fellow colleagues, hands occupied with trays of assorted desserts, drinks, and a huge birthday cake.

@Kim Sunggyu Junhyung smiled at the other guy introduction, chuckling at Chanyeol getting hit by Sunggyu. 'Nice to meet you too Luhan. No biggie, we would love to be here also.'

Taking their places, Junhyung heard Sunggyu whispered and he just nod in respond giving him an 'OK' sign.

@Lu Han Sunggyu sauntered towards the other two, greeting the other two with their customary way of salutation. Then heard Junhyung and Chanyeol's deep voices, greeting Luhan.

"Stop scaring him, Yeol!" Sunggyu slapped him lightly at the back of his head as he guffawed. "Now, now..." Sunggyu started off as the four of them took their seats. "Have you ordered?" Sunggyu whispered into Junhyung's ear.

Luhan blinked as he looked at the two people that have greeted him and smiled, taking Chanyeol's hand with a smile as he shook it. "What? That's not my name." he laughed softly, putting a palm on his mouth. "I'm Lu Han. And that's my real name." he said then, looking at the two and bowed slightly. "nice to meet you. and thank you for coming here. I appreciate it."

@Kim Sunggyu "Gyu hyung!" Chanyeol waved excitedly to the two men advancing towards him and Junhyung. Sunggyu was with a friend; he was tall and lean, with bright twinkling eyes and a shy smile. Chanyeol turned towards Sunggyu's friend, holding his hand out for a handshake. "I'm Park Chanyeol, Sunggyu's friend. Don't need to tell me your name, I know exactly who you are,"Chanyeol smiled, trying to look convincing before breaking out into a wide grin,"You're beautiful!"

@Kim Sunggyu Junhyung was waiting for Sunggyu with Chanyeol at the restaurant. The two of them had hurried down to the restaurant as soon as he receive the text from Sunggyu. Waving at Sunggyu, Junhyung stands up from his seat as the two of them walks towards them.
'Yong Junhyung.' Junhyung introduces himself to other guy who he assumes to be Sunggyu's newly-made friend.

@Kim Sunggyu Luhan laughed at that as well, shaking his head slightly. "Alright alright. I want the movie guaranteed to be really scary okay?' he said with a grin as they entered the restaurant. When Sunggyu seemed to have found his friends, Luhan smiled sheepishly and walked to them, pulling Sunggyu in front of him.

@Lu Han Sunggyu laughed at Luhan, "We shall see then. I'm booking you for the next horror movie release." They two of them made their way to the restaurants. Sunggyu peered over the waiter who was asking them if they had reservations and stuff. He spotted the two other familiar figures who were already seated in the restaurant, "There!" Sunggyu pointed across the room and pushed Luhan in after bowing to the waiter.

@Kim Sunggyu "I never scream while watching horror movies." Luhan stated while he crossed his arms, sporting a pout. He was about to say more when Sunggyu stated that his friends were there and he nodded slowly, getting excited all over again.

"Why not?" Sunggyu thought about Luhan's sentence, "Why? Do you scream like a little girl?" He teased the boy beside him. Sunggyu took a quick glance at his phone. "They are there. Let's go?"
