@[T] Lee Chaerin Eunji entered the cafeteria after what seemed like hours of crying somewhere else and after she had washed up and changed into clean clothes. Being hungry, she could eat a whole cow and walked up, ordering the breakfast of the day which included abalone porridge with some meat, kimchi and orange juice or water. She bowed slightly as she bumped against a girl in front and took her food, carrying it over to an empty table she first saw.
@[T] Ham Eunjung "But I don't want to be your friend." For some reason, that sentence kept repeating in Sunggyu's mind. His phone vibrated and he saw a text message from his manager, asking him to be prompt for the meeting. He wanted to stay and continue talking to her. His ego wanted to know why she was acting this way. He looked at his unfinished lunch, just as he thought he would be able to finally have a full meal today. He slide the phone back into his pocket and looked over at Eunjung who was very satisfied with her lunch. "Duty calls. I guess I won't be around to bother you anymore..." He paused and then gave a crooked smile, "For now." Sunggyu stood up and took his tray away to return.
This man could read her like a book. "But I don't want to be your friend." He could forget whatever happened between them but she couldn't. Not now, not ever. Her first time would haunt her for as long as she lives which was why to her, he was a monster. And she hated herself for believing this monster and falling into his trap so readily. She admitted that she had actually thought that they were in love but how stupid was she then? He was just playing around.
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu saw her redden face. Unsure if it was from embarrassment or better bet, from anger. "You want to slap me right now, don't you?" He asked, as though reading her mind. Her words stung him, she really did not like him. He must have done something really bad to hurt her to receive such words from her. Did she give her first time to him? Did he make her pregnant? All kind of weird thoughts came into his mind. "I was just trying to make things less awkward..." He explained. "Look, I mean you no harm, just want to be your friend."
@[T] Kim Sunggyu She was itching to slap him. Of there was no one in the room, she'd probably already have done so.
"I thought you said we were starting afresh? You, Kim Sunggyu, are my worst nightmare." she snarled. "Why don't I like you? Because you're a cocky bastard."
She couldn't tell him that he would hinder her debut if she got tangled into some messy situation with him. Or that she was scared of falling for him again and hurting herself. Whatever. He was basically a life ruiner so she couldn't like him.
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu laughed, "How can you not like me?" He sat back down on the seat beside her, "I know the girl at my 6 o'clock direction like me." He turned behind and gave a little smirk at the long haired girl behind, causing her to dive her head back down into her food. "See?" He turned back his attention to Eunjung. Sunggyu had his hand on the table supporting his chin. "Why don't you like me?" He curiously asked her. He leaned towards her ear and whispered, "Was I no good that night?"
Everyone was staring in their direction. Afterall, it was not everyday and idol tries so hard to make a girl just barely like him. Without a choice, since her face and life was more important (his fangirls.) she took his hand and shook it quickly as if he was diseased.
"Ham Eunjung. And I still don't like you."
@[T] Ham Eunjung "Hey hey.. Don't leave, I barely got to know you..." Sunggyu carried his tray and followed her, settling down on another table. " Oh come on... Give me another chance?" He rubbed his palms together, "Let's start afresh, can we?" He stood up and stretch out his hand to her. "Hi, I'm Kim Sunggyu!" He said rather loudly, and people around them were giving them strange stares.
@[T] Kim Sunggyu "The past doesn't matter to me anymore. And you don't matter to me. So I don't matter to you. I juat need you to keep your distance. To me you're bad news. I'm still a trainee and I don't need more problems. Thanks."
One by one, people around them were clearing away. She abruptly stood up and brought her tray to another table. Away from him. Away from her past.
@[T] Ham Eunjung Really? She did not want anything to do with him? "Look, I know I was a bastard." He was forced to wash his past down the drain. But they just slowly came back to him, in pieces, Eunjung was one of them. "And I know apologies won't really matter anymore, but still, I'm sorry." He said with much sincerity. Sunggyu didn't understand why this girl actually mattered, he would have just ignored and walked off if it was others. He tried hard to recall what happened that faithful night.
@[T] Kim Sunggyu She cringed at the name he called her by. She hated things like this. Especially since he used the exact same name to address her that night while the deed was done. "Which is why we should stay away from each other. You disgust me. I don't want anything to do with you okay? Please, don't appear in front of me again and I'll do the same. Even if we cross paths lets be strangers." she said those words with the desire to protect her career and her mental state. Being with him drove her mad. Her voice low amd she didn't know why the emotions that came into those words bothered her so much. Now the more she couldn't face him or else he would see her reddened, yet tearless eyes.
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu saw her turning her back towards him. He leaned towards her ear and whispered, "No one would believe you anyway... Jungie." He couldn't have the slightest memory of that night, but he was pretty sure he called her that. He had a habit of putting that -ie behind girl's names. It makes them squirm and he liked it.
@[T] Kim Sunggyu She dunked her half eaten drumlet back into the soup and slammed her chopsticks down. "Yah! What is there to blackmail me for?" Seeing that he wasn't going to put tye device down, she continued. "Then shall I tell a paparazzi anonymously about what an you are?" she frowned at him and back faced the idol to continue eating. Just to play safe.
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu leaned backwards when he got attacked by her chopsticks. She was a little more violent that he remembered, she was definitely not like that that night. She raised a fist at him before getting back to her savaging her food. Sunggyu thought of something to get back at her. Watching her eat like a beggar, a smirk came onto his face. "It would be interesting if I had a camera with me now.. wait I do!" Sunggyu whipped out his phone. "This works just as well as a black mail, won't it?"
@[T] Kim Sunggyu She shoved her chopsticks right under his nose. Being the slightly, just slightly violent person she was. "In any case I'm not going to believe anything that comes out of your mouth." she raised a threatening fist at him before going back to her food. She wanted him off her back so she showcased savage eating habbits, grabbing the end of her drumlet with a hand and tearing the meat off with her teeth agressively, even taking his food every now and then. 'Go away, go away!' she was mentally shouting at the male next to her.
@[T] Ham Eunjung "Nope." He said with pride. In fact he wasn't lying, he couldn't have known her from the trainee roster, far too many names to take note of. "I didn't." He picked up his chopstick and tore a part of the chicken drumstick in the soup and put it into his mouth.
@[T] Kim Sunggyu She narrowed her eyes at him, not believing that he actually did remember her name. "You saw it!"
In no way was he able to remember when she had just told him once in a noisy club.
"You saw my name in the trainee roster didn't you?!"
She stuffed a kimchi laden chicken into .
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu's eyesmile dropped when he heard her so-called hint. "Are you serious, that's not even a hint!" He growled under his breath. He wreaked his brain hard, opening his memory boxes. It was like recovering deleted files in a computer, rather impossible. His eyes then trailed down to her trainee card which was hung in front of her chest. It had her name imprinted on. One of his hand slowly pushed his metal spoon off the table and it hit the floor. "Oops!" A chance to sneak a peek at her name when he bend down to pick up his spoon. He looked up, there it was, hanging freely. Ham... Eunjung. He sat back up, "I remember it now, Eunjung!" He yelled out in victory.
Hint? She would play along of course. "Okay, I'll give you a hint. It has three syllabuses." she said with a saddistic grin. Eunjung finished up the last of her potato and started piling kimchi leaves on her sausages, conveniently helping herself with his.
"Name..." Sunggyu knew he was doomed, he couldn't have remembered her name, or any of the other girls' names to be correct. He don't have the habit of remembering names, he never found the reason to. Girl names had always revolved around the same few syllabus, Mi, Yeon, Ji, Hyo, Hye, Min, Eun. Was hers any of the above? "Um... is there a hint for this one?" He gave her a toothy grin.
@[T] Kim Sunggyu [is there a difference? >< I <3 you]
She nodded. "I did. At least you remember how I looked like." she was appeased slightly. Eunjung sighed, taking in the fact that to him, she didn't leave any impression on him. She was a prideful girl and it bothered her.
"Then do you remember my name?" she asked hopefully, although well aware that he probably couldn't recall it. Afterall, she only mentioned it once when he asked how to address her.
@[T] Ham Eunjung [ LOL which one.. i bet it woohyun right.. *pouts* ]
"Okay, I'll be honest. I... can't really remember which one you were." Sunggyu started off, "But! But!" He quickly added when he saw her slightly glaring at him. "But I recognize you! You had long hair previously right?" From his unclear memory, she resembled that girl from a few years ago. Long hair, sweet innocent looking, someone who didn't look clingy. She did become prettier from the last time they met.
She scoffed. "One of them? I guess I can be called 'one of them'." She took a huge spoonful of potato and shoved it into . Only when she has swallowed the food in then she spoke again. "You're not even that special, why would I specially join the industry just to look for some guy?" He...really had a lot of ego didn't he.
For her debut, she should stay away from him as much as possible since once their pasts were revealed, it would be game over for both of them.
Sunggyu swore he almost choke on his own words after hearing what she said. He looked around, cautious of whether other people heard what she had said. "Yah, how did you know?!" He toned down his voice ten-fold before continuing, "Were you one of them..." He had too many one night stands to remember from. "You didn't come here specially looking for me did you?"
@[T] Kim Sunggyu [more like how many cute guys flirted with me! >< I only had one cute guy one my mind the whole time~ ;D]
"Ugh!" she facepalmed. "I mean for the first time. Before you even became a trainee." she gave him a look of disbelief. "I'll give you a hint. At a club. Another hint. You were wearing really loud and colourful underwear." That should be enough to trigger his memory, she guessed.
Eunjung went back to eating, at a moderate pace this time, trying to ignore her past relationship with the idol and maybe start treating him like a collegue.
@[T] Ham Eunjung [ are you kidding me?! you went there without me?! D< how many cute guys did you flirt with huh? ]
"Recognize...?" Sunggyu asked as he squint his eyes while looking at her. He scanned her up and down. He had to say, she did look kind of familiar. Have they met? He tilted his head slightly and bit on to his lower lips. He put down his utensils and turned his entire body to face her directly. With his hands on his laps, he leaned slightly closer. Then his eye brightened and he wriggled his fingers at her, "I know! I saw you this morning when you walk into Love Sky! With that big Rilakkuma soft toy and luggage bag!" He said with a sense of achievement.
@[T] Kim Sunggyu "... Do you recognise me?" she asked hesitantly. After all, whatever happened between them that one faithful night was pretty unforgettable. At least to her it was.
She looked at him carefully. Nothing much had changed except that he had darker eyebags and wore makeup. He was handsome, a neccessity for an idol. It was no wonder she gave im that day, being a er for good looks- something not easily found in the average Korean male population.
[I lied. I went to Korea for just a week and So. Many. Cute. Guys.]
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu smiled widely as he took the seat next to girl. "Thanks..." He said in relieve. He broke the wooden chopsticks and started digging in to the bowl of rice that was given to him apart from the soup. Topping up his scoop of rice with a piece of kimchi, he ate it blissfully. Then he sensed the girl beside slowly down from the speed she was eating when he saw her. He looked over and saw discomfort in the girl's expression. "Is... something wrong?" He thought he must have annoyed her with his unglamorous eating habits.
@[T] Kim Sunggyu A voice seeme to be speaking to her so she looked up to find her famous labelmate, The Romantic Kim Sunggyu. Staring back at him blankly, she looked around and realised that there was really no other place for him to sit in the cafeteria.
"Okay, I guess."
His pressence brought a wave of discomfort. She jad memories linked with him somewhere along the lines of a hot and stuffy club filled with school going, mindless people, all drunk and sweaty. He had caused her to take a fall into his mesmerising embrace and thrown away when dawn broke.
@[T] Ham Eunjung Dress in casual jeans and a T-shirt, and dawn on a pair of red headphones, Sunggyu skipped down the steps joyfully. Lunch was one of the things that would make him happy, although he was on a strict diet. s hadn't joined him for lunch, they all had their own dates and schedule.
He was greeted with bright smiles by the regular cashier girl who gave him his regular meals, he wasn't allowed the buffet selection that was in the open in the cafeteria. Herbal chicken soup today. He gave a look at his tray before giving an awkward forced smile to the cashier girl.
Sunggyu walked away with the tray, looking for a seat in the crowded cafeteria. He found a girl sitting alone on a table for 4. He approached the girl, "Could I... perhaps share the table with you?" He asked.
I would like to apply for Jay Park. :3 I wanted to ask because I haven't had a chance to check this rp out and I was hiatus for over a year due to my studies. But now I'm back with full force and looking for some good roleplayers! :D
