@[T] Byun Baekhyun Eunjung stared blankly at her friend. " You're right, I've tried to get over it for the past few years but he suddenly shows up and starts acting like nothing happened. He even expects to be friends or something. I can't. Not after what happened that night." Sunggyu and her met under the multi colored lights of a club and she never saw him again after waking up in white sheets of a foreign hotel. Until now.

"Hep me forget him. Tell me I'm acting stupid, Baekhyun ah." she slammed her head into her palms countless times. "Your boyfriend is his bandmate right?" she asked, suddenly remembering.

@[T] Ham Eunjung Baekhyun smiled sadly at his best friend and reached over, petting her head softly. "Sweetie, you're not stupid, he's the one that's stupid," he said, trying to soother her. "I understand that you like him but, look, if he's going to treat you this way, just ignore him, forget about him and move on. Maybe he's not the right one for you. There are plenty of other fish in the sea."

Baekhyun was never good at advice and he was really hoping that maybe this was helping but it probably wasn't. It wasn't like Baekhyun hated Sunggyu, no, it was just that he had heard stories and such. And from what he knew about Eunjung, she was really hung up over him and she really liked him. Despite all of that, he was an idiot who didn't notice. Hence why Baekhyun didn't approve of this relationship.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun "Remember the man I told you about? The one that I met at the club? It's Kim Sunggyu and we crossed paths today at the cafeteria." The man who stole her heart and never gave it back. "He doesn't remember anything that happened that night. I'm so stupid, Bacon. Why did I even hope that the feeling was mutual? He was just...playing."

She curled into a ball on the sofa, her head on the armrest. The cool air condition calmed her a little. Why was she mad anyway? He wasn't in the wrong, neither did he know that she liked him. She never had any other man in her life after him. Baekhyun didn't count.

@[T] Ham Eunjung Baekhyun could tell something was wrong with Eunjung as soon as she walked in. She looked mad, something definitely went wrong. Despite her telling him to keep on singing, it was something he couldn't do. Baekhyun cared for Eunjung a lot. She was his best friend and he planned on helping her with whatever he could. She was one that always listened to his problems and he would do the same for her. They cared for each other as best friends normally would.

Baekhyun sat down on the sofa that was situated in the room and pulled Eunjung down next to him to talk. Of course he wasn't going to keep singing if she needed to talk about something. She seemed angry enough as it is, he didn't need to make it any worse by being a crap friend. "Hey, calm down. Tell me what happened," he said, his hand on her shoulder as a sign of support. Baekhyun smiled softly at Eunjung and nodded slightly, edging her to talk to him. "You can tell me anything," he reassured.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun "Go on singing, ignore me, Bacon." Eunjung said the first thing when she interupted her best friend's singing session. Bacon was something she called him with affectionately. It was a little joke they shared. She was Ham and he was bacon. Baekhyun was the only person around that she liked. Being gay, he wasn't y like girls and not intensely stupid like a hormone charged male.

"I met him again. Kim Sunggyu. I met him again. He seems different now." Earlier on, she met Sunggyu, a man from her past and a debuting idol in the cafeteria. Baekhyun, being her closest friend, knew about her past, albeit not completely, but enough to know that she had strong feelings for the male.

@[T] Ham Eunjung It was quiet, it was empty, it was perfect, a perfect time for him to practice. Baekhyun entered the vocal practice room and put his bag down before taking his jacket off. He stepped up the micrphone and ran his hand over it, smiling softly. It had been a little while since he had practiced alone with no one listening to him, criticising him on how he could do better. He could sing whatever he wanted, he could be himself, he would even sing like a crazy person and no one would care. Singing had always been something Baekhyun loved doing, something he enjoyed doing for fun. Baekhyun didn't really hate singing with a teacher and everything but he had no freedom with his music, not many choices. So chances like these were rare and he loved them whenever he got the chance.

Baekhyun cleared his throat and took a deep breath before holding onto the microphone with both hands. He opened his mouth and started to sing, softly at first, slowly building up to the and then going all out. He smiled to himself as he could hear his own voice out of tune sometimes, with no rhythm or beat. Baekhyun was just singing for the fun of it, he wasn't even trying, he just wanted to have fun with it. Baekhyun stopped abruptly when he heard the door open. He turned his head and saw someone familiar walk through the door, looking a little pissed. Well, his little singing session was over.

@[T] Park Lizzy " Do re mi fa so la si do~ ah.. Ah ah." Eunjung was doing vocal warm ups, getting ready to do her daily vocal practise. She was all alone in the studio and it was starting to feel a little creepy. Usually, there would be another trainee or teacher with her but since she was doing extra time, it was just her.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun Chanyeol was wishing the ground would swallow him up whole when Baekhyun did the least expected. He was suddenly in fits of laughter and it made Chanyeol blush even harder. How could he just laugh at Gyu's and Jun's ludicrous comments when it made Chanyeol want to dive into a black hole and disappear. But as much as Chanyeol wanted to murder both of his trolling friends, he was glad that Baekhyun was able to smile again despite their ridiculousness.

Their hands were weaved together, Chanyeol's heart skipping a beat. He was displeased with himself because he had to admit he was getting a little greedy; he couldn't get enough of Baekhyun's feathery touches.

"Maybe we should take this somewhere else," Chanyeol heard his friend suggest, "We don't want other people catching us, do we?"

It was embarrassing how Baekhyun's remark was able to make Chanyeol imagine innumerable things he could do with his friend now that he was pretty sure that his love was unrequited no more. Chanyeol shook his head frantically, his long dark fringe obstructing his sight. He was so abashed, he couldn't make an eye contact with him friend right now. Hand by hand, they walked together out of the vocal room with hearts full of love. "Lets...let's share an ice-cream before the night ends." Because Chanyeol didn't want it too. He was afraid that when he wake up the next morning, this would just turn out into a beautiful nightmare that he always had.

@Park Chanyeol Baekhyun was honestly very surprised at what just happened and didn't feel any embarrassment at all. All he could do was let out a laugh as he clutched his stomach, almost falling off the sofa he was sitting on. He had no idea why he found it so funny but he just did. It was absolutely hilarious. He did feel a little sorry for Chanyeol though, it seemed like his friend (maybe boyfriend? He only hoped) was definitely embarrassed by the very funny appearance of his two friends.

Baekhyun eventually stopped laughing and panted softly, catching his breath, wiping away his tears. "They seem like very nice friends, Chanyeol," he commented, smiling widely at the person sitting next to him. He bit his bottom lip to try to keep any other laughs from coming out, just in case he might offend his best friend in some way. Baekhyun reached out for Chanyeol's hand and weaved their fingers together. "Maybe we should take this somewhere else," he suggested. "We don't want other people catching us, do we?"

@[T] Byun Baekhyun Chanyeol felt Baekhyun's arms around his neck before finally succumbing into their kiss, his soft lips moving against Chanyeol's rigid ones. It was Chanyeol's first kiss, but Chanyeol really hoped it wasn't obvious that he hadn't been kissed, ever. He forgot to breathe, missed the tempo and his enormous nose was getting in the way. Chanyeol had a few girlfriends for the past three years, he admit; but he would have never imagined kissing anyone but Baekhyun. Chanyeol was finally with the person he loves and the fact that Baekhyun was responding to him made his heart beat deliriously.

Both of them were lost in their own world, not noticing the two intruders who had witnessed their embarrassing state. Chanyeol felt firm hands grabbing the back of his shirt, pulling him away from Baekhyun.

Jun ing Hyung.

"Yah Giant! And you Bacon or whatever your name is. Get a room!" His friend deadpanned, eyeing them sternly. Chanyeol glancing sheepishly at Baekhyun who was all flushed and pink.

Chanyeol had yet to notice Sunggyu,eyes fully stretching and jaws dropping until he absentminded commented,"Wait, so... who is going to be on top?" not even trying to hide his amusement, breaking into fits of laughter."You both look more on the feminine side though, I can't..."

Chanyeol glared at his friend who was nonchalantly teasing them, Junhyung finally decided that it was his cue to drag Sunggyu out of the room by his tee sleeve. Just when Chanyeol thought the worst was over, he heard Junhyung holler,"Go and get a room the two of you! Oh! Wear protection, if needed!"

Chanyeol couldn't help but to facepalm. This was no doubt the most embarrassing moment in his entire 21 years of living. He couldn't bring himself to meet Baekhyun's gaze, trying to shun away the awkwardness. "They...they say that to everyone. Its normal, they are actually nice when you get to know them better."

But only Chanyeol knows how much his words and intentions contradict each other because all he wants to do now is to push both Junhyung and Sunggyu of a cliff.

@Kim Sunggyu Junhyung heard Sunggyu's question and he swear that something is wrong with Sunggyu, he must be in his creeper mode. Glaring at the two of them, Junhyung drags Sunggyu out before he starts talking more gibberish. 'Go and get a room the two of you! Oh! Wear protection, if needed!' Junhyung said before leaving the room, intentionally teasing the two of them.

Sunggyu's grew wide then realizing what he had walked onto, he quickly shield Junhyung's eyes along with his own, "YAH! You two!!!" Junhyung then tore the two apart. He should have figured out, a long time ago, those photos kept in Chanyeol's drawer. Then it came upon him, "Wait, so... who is going to be on top?" Sunggyu could not resist his laughter anymore as a grin creeped onto his face. "You both look more on the feminine side though, I can't..." He started to draw weird pictures in his head, only to get dragged out by his collar by Junhyung.

@Park Chanyeol Junhyung couldn't believe his eyes at what he and Sunggyu had seen, they kiss! A gasp escapes Sunggyu's mouth as his eyes widen and Junhyung swear that it was the first time that he is able to see Sunggyu's eyes. Walking up to them, Junhyung pulls the two of them apart before looking at them sternly. 'Yah Giant! And you Bacon or whatever your name is. Get a room!'

@Park Chanyeol Baekhyun's eyes widened in shock as he felt Chanyeol's lips on his, not expecting this at all. He squeezed Chanyeol's hands and eventually closed his eyes, sighing happily and melting into the kiss. Baekhyu had never expected this to happen, he never thought Chanyeol would be so forward with someone and just kiss them. Of course, Baekhyun had imagined what his first kiss with Chanyeol would be like and this, thought a little awkward, was much better than his imagination and Baekhyun couldn't be happier.

Baekhyun pulled his hands away from Chanyeol's and wrapped his arms around the taller male's neck, kissing Chanyeol back. He moved his lips slowly and gently, tilting his head to the side slightly. Baekhyun was happy he waited for Chanyeol all these years, always believing that maybe Chanyeol would come back for him. And though Chanyeol didn't come back for him, they finally got to see each other again and Baekhyun decided that that was still better than nothing.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun Chanyeol didn't know what to do. He hated seeing precious tears falling out of Baekhyun's eyes, it made him want to cry too. He was never a good friend to Baekhyun, Chanyeol had always made Baekhyun irritated and mad at times, but this was the first time he made Baekhyun cry. His hands balled into fists, nails digging crescents into his palms, eyebrows furrowing. Chanyeol messed up again. Its been three long years and he was still messing up.

That won't do. He needed to make things right. He needs to make Baekhyun stop crying because of him. He needs to....

Chanyeol caught hold of Baekhyun's hands, interlacing their fingers while he closed the distance in between their lips. Their kiss was a little rigid and awkward, but Baekhyun's lips were as soft and sweet as Chanyeol had always thought it would be.

@Kim Sunggyu 'Agreed! He is like super tall and I feel like a freaking dwarf beside him...' Junhyung words stop there when he see two figure in the vocal room, totally lost for words as his eyes widen in shock. He heard sunggyu asking why but somehow he seem to not be able to tell him what he saw.

@Yong Junhyung Click. The door opened from the outside. Loud chattering and laughters entered the room. Sunggyu walked into the cozy vocal room with Junhyung beside him, "Yeah, I know right. Chanyeol should be our tall representative." Sunggyu laughed loudly as he faced Junhyung. Then he realized the odd expression on his face. "Wae?" Sunggyu asked and turned to the direction that Junhyung was looking at.

@Park Chanyeol Baekhyun looked at Chanyeol with wide eyes. He blinked in confusion and surprise, pointing at himself. Did Chanyeol just say him? Was he dreaming or was this real? Did he even hear what Chanyeol said clearly? Baekhyun racked his brain for an answer. He couldn't actually believe this was happening. Chanyeol just told him that he loved him. Baekhyun had finally heard the words that he had wanted to hear out of the other's mouth for so long. Baekhyun couldn't help but start crying, tears rolling down his cheeks. He didn't even know why he was crying, probably because he was happy, relieved, overwhelmed, he didn't know. But the tears just kept coming and he turned himself away from Chanyeol, trying to wipe away his tears.

"Just ignore me for a little bit," he managed to say between sniffles as he wiped his tears with one hand and using his other to wave Chanyeol off.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun They sat there in silence, just gazing into each other's eyes.
Chanyeol watched Baekhyun his lips for the second time; a habit that he had always found adorable. He was hanging to fragments of hope that Baekhyun would at least realise how he felt when he saw a clear tears brim at the ends of his friend's eyes. Chanyeol felt a sickening wrench of his little heart as a tear escaped rolled down Baekhyun's unblemished cheek, he couldn't believe that he made his beloved Baekhyun cry. Baekhyun wiped it away with his sleeve before Chanyeol could with his fingers, as he turned away from Chanyeol. "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me," Chanyeol heard him sob, and Chanyeol wished he could read his friend's mind right then.

He shut his eyes close, and inhaled deep. "You," Chanyeol finally exhaled."I've been in love with you ever since the first time my eyes laid on you, Baekhyun."

Chanyeol waited. For rejection, for his friend to cringe away, but a part of him wished Baekhyun would just....accept him.

@Park Chanyeol Did he hear Chanyeol correctly? Did Chanyeol really just say 'best friend'? Was he even talking about Baekhyun? Of course Baekhyun was doubting the fact that Chanyeol would ever be in love with him. It just didn't make any sense. Baekhyun never considered himself to be special in any way. He didn't have any talents, except maybe singing and he still considered himself not extraordinary at that. Baekhyun wasn't attractive or smart or athletic or even that nice. He was always him which was nothing special at all. But Baekhyun decided this time to take the chance. He decided to believe that maybe this time, Chanyeol was really actually in love with him.

Baekhyun stared at Chanyeol not knowing what to say. He was frozen, looking into the other's eyes as his heart beated faster and his palms started to sweat again. He wiped his hands on his jeans and his dry lips, swallowing sharply. Baekhyun didn't even realise that his eyes started to water until one tear rolled down his face which broke him out of his trance. He used his sleeve to wipe away the tear, turning slightly away from Chanyeol. "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me," Baekhyun sniffed.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun When Baekhyun pulled his fingers away from his, Chanyeol felt cold and a little dejected. Baekhyun had just asked him who was it that he had loved, and Chanyeol couldn't bring himself to answer. He wasn't ready for rejection, he didn't want to lose his friend after finally being able to be together back with Baekhyun after all these years. They were friends and they were both male, Chanyeol wasn't sure if Baekhyun would react positively to that. But his heart was screaming at him to confess and his mind was on the contrary telling him not to.

Chanyeol was so afraid he was trembling when he finally answered,"That someone who was and still is the most precious person in this world to me. Someone I love so much, it hurts. Someone whom I shouldn't have fallen in love with---my one and only best friend." Chanyeol gazed sincerely into Baekhyun's deep charcoal ones, hoping his friend could realise that he was that someone.

@Park Chanyeol "I wanted to love someone whom I couldn't love," Chanyeol answered. Baekhyun felt a pain in his heart hearing that statement. Chanyeol loved someone, someone that probably wasn't him, and the thought of that hurt Baekhyun immensely. Baekhyun had always hoped in the past that maybe, just maybe, Chanyeol would love him back. He always told himself to never get his hopes up, but he did. He just never knew what it would feel like to hear that the person you love was in love with someone else.

Baekhyun squeezed tightly onto Chanyeol's hand and closed his eyes, forcing himself to hold back a few tears. He lifted his head off Chanyeol's shoulder and nodded slowly in understand, looking away from Chanyeol. He pulled his hand back from Chanyeol and placed it on his own lap, clasping both his hands together. "Who... Who was it you wanted to love?" Baekhyun managed to ask softly, looking down at the ground.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun "Why, Chanyeol?" He heard Baekhyun question, his slender digits frolicking with Chanyeol's calloused ones,"Why did you leave me?"

Chanyeol's mind stalled for a moment as he too ask himself--Why? He squeezed his eyes shut as he felt the box of painful memories that was in the back of his mind being forcefully probed open; they were things that Chanyeol had been trying so hard to forget.

His mind reeled back to the cold November night three years ago, when he was supposed to have a warm silent dinner with his family on their dining table for three...until his dad finally spoke.

"We're moving out,in two days. Pack everything, we will going as far as we can...away from here."

There was a loud clang when Chanyeol's utensils dropped onto his plate as his wide orbs met his dad's fathomless ones. "W-why? I-I can't, I need to stay...I-I need to stay because...I can't move!"

Out of a sudden, Chanyeol's face was struck with something hard; and he doubled over at the pain. The object that hit him, landed on his lap and it took half a second to realise what it was.

His diary.

It wasn't any diary--it was his diary. All he'd ever written in it was all about...Byun Baekhyun. How he met Baekhyun. How he befriended Baekhyun. How he was in love with Baekhyun.

"Because of Baekhyun?" His dad spat. His stare was cold and hard; and it scared Chanyeol. He had never seen this side of his dad, ever. His mom was still, Chanyeol had just noticed that her food was left cold and untouched; she had disappointment written all over her pale face.

Chanyeol was a teenager who had never thought even once the world was hard on him, he rarely gets mad with anyone; he was a happy person with a heart full of love. But it was right then, he thought; why? Was he not allowed to love?

They ended up moving the following day; when Chanyeol asked for his parents' permission to go to Baekhyun's house just to tell his friend that he was going to move--they locked him up.

Even after Chanyeol was districts away from his Baekhyun, his parents thought that it would be healthier for their son if only every single trace of Baekhyun was erased. So they took away Chanyeol's diary, his polaroids of Baekhyun in his wallet and every single thing that would remind him of his friend.

The only thing that remained was his memories. He remembered Baekhyun, his voice, his sarcasm, his number, his birthday, his address, his habits---everything.

Those three years were excruciating and Chanyeol didn't want Baekhyun to know how much it scarred him.

"I was selfish," he finally said, weaving their fingers together, he suddenly wondered if Baekhyun was really there beside him or he was actually hallucinating."I wanted to love someone whom I couldn't love."

@Park Chanyeol Baekhyun regretted not turning around and hugging Chanyeol back. He never wanted Chanyeol to let go, it felt so nice to be in his arms again. Chanyeol had hugged him so many times in the past but this hug felt more special to Baekhyun. He hadn't felt Chanyeol's arms around him in a long time and with just this one hug, it set Baekhyun's heart aflame all over again. It was hard to not tell Chanyeol to not let him go and leave him be.

Baekhyun smiled at Chanyeol's apology and sat down next to him. He rested his head on the tall male's shoulder like how he used to back when they were in school together. He always thought of Chanyeol's shoulder like a pillow, comfortable. "Why, Chanyeol?" Baekhyun asked, taking Chanyeol's hand in his and playing with his fingers. "Why did you leave me?"

@[T] Byun Baekhyun Chanyeol knew that he should let Baekhyun go but when he heard Baekhyun say his nickname like old times, he blinked back a few tears and buried his face deeper to blink back some sudden tears. "I missed you," he mumbled loud enough for only himself to hear, before composing himself and finally pulling away from his friend."Sorry about that," he apologised, even though not regretting anything that he just did. He plummeted on a read leather sofa near him, and motioned Baekhyun to sit beside him.

"I tried calling..." Chanyeol confessed, eyes glued to the polished marble floor," ...But I hung up before you could answer."

@Park Chanyeol Baekhyun never expected Chanyeol to hug him. It surprised him so much, he froze, not knowing what to do. Should he turn around and hug Chanyeol back? Should he push him away? He didn't know. Baekhyun's heart beat faster, his face flushing red and feeling hot. His hands were sweating and the butterflies in his stomach were fluttering like crazy. He hadn't felt Chanyeol's arms around him in so long and he hadn't felt this nervous in quite a while.

Baekhyun his lips and slowly placed a hand over Chanyeol's arms, patting them softly. "Um, you're welcome, Yeol," he replied, calling Chanyeol by his nickname out of habit.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun Chanyeol gazed at Baekhyun's side profile while lilting his head upon Baekhyun's sweet voice. Every note, every beat and every word seemed to set fire to Chanyeol's heart. And when Baekhyun finished singing, he seemed to have said something but Chanyeol couldn't hear anything but the clamorous beating of his heart.

'That was beautiful Baek.' Was what Chanyeol wanted to say so badly but his lips won't move, his vocal chords won't work. 'I've just heard an angel sing', 'I don't want to be friends' and 'because I love you' were what Chanyeol had always wanted to say in the past, before he disappeared. And nothing had changed; this feelings were still there.

Blindly following his instincts, he wrapped his arms around Baekhyun's waist, enveloping his friend into a backhug. "Thank you,"Chanyeol murmured, finally able to a hold of his own tongue, as he buried his face in his Baekhyun's shoulder,"Thank you."

@Park Chanyeol "What Is Love," Baekhyun heard Chanyeol answer. Just hearing the name of that song set off the butterflies in his stomach. It was the song Baekhyun was singing when they met, it was specifically their song. It had been a long time since he had sung it since he only always sang it to Chanyeol. He didn't want anyone else to hear but Chanyeol because that song was theirs and theirs alone.

Baekhyun smiled and nodded. "I haven't sung it a while so I apologise for any mistakes. I'll do what I can," he said before clearing his throat and taking a deep breath. He closed his eyes and focused his mind before opening his mouth and beginning to sing, concentrating on getting every note correct and making sure he didn't mess up the lyrics. Baekhyun tried to ignore the butterflies in his stomach, the fast beating of his heart and the fact that Chanyeol was standing so close to him. He focused his mind on pretending it was like practice and he was alone, singing his heart out to the best of his abilities.

@[T] Byun Baekhyun "What do you want me to sing?" Baekhyun asked, turning to him. They were a little to close for comfort and Chanyeol breath hitched. He knew exactly what he wanted Baekhyun to sing, it was the same song Chanyeol ever heard him sing the first time they met. That time, Chanyeol was walking past their previous school's music room when he heard Baekhyun sing his heart out.

"What Is Love." Chanyeol said, almost immediately; his heart beating frenzy at the sight of Baekhyun's face inches away from him. Chanyeol smiled in anticipation, he missed Baekhyun's raspy calming voice. He was desperate to hear it now, he wanted to be reminded how beautiful his voice was. How beautiful Baekhyun was.

@Park Chanyeol Baekhyun stared down at the microphone and gulped, not sure what to do. He hadn't sung in front of Chanyeol for a long time and he didn't want to disappoint him. He didn't even know why he was worrying so much, he had sung in front of hundreds of people before. But for Baekhyun, singing in front of Chanyeol was a different story.

Baekhyun closed his eyes and shivered slightly, feeling Chanyeol's breath against his ear and hearing his deep velvet voice. He bit his bottom lip and tried to shake the images he had going in his head out of his mind. He didn't want to be thinking about that right now. Baekhyun took a deep breath and turned towards Chanyeol. "What do you want me to sing?" he questioned, tilting his head to the side.
