Working studio downtown that is sometimes rented out by freelance artists, independent artists, and entertainment companies to produce and record music.
@‡ Taeyeob The model watched, a look of semi-amusement on his face at the brief flittering of expressions that rolled throughout the younger man's face. Excitement, horror and then back to excitement. He smiled in a friendly manner, a 'yeah really' look that bounced between his eyebrows and eyes, playful and genuine in their intent. He reached out to pat the guy's arm encouragingly. "You got this, don't worry. It's gonna be fun." He winked and retreated, giving Taeyeob plenty of room to get changed in peace. Seunghyun wandered back over to his designated spot, wasting some time on his phone before he slipped a pair of earbuds in to listen to the song that Hyuk had sent him. It was good, catchy and he was curious how it would play out in the music video, shy in the way he was going to be back on tv after taking time away.
Much like a cat sneaking up ready to pounce, Seunghyun caught the blonde approaching through his reflection in the mirror and he popped out an earbud, silencing the song. "Oh- Did I forget to introduce myself? , sorry. I'm Seunghyun or Hyun for short, whichever you're more comfortable with." He gestured to the chair beside him. "Have a seat, the stylist just went to get something." He turned in his own seat, one long leg dangling over the other as he leaned in Taeyeob's direction. "How long have you known Hyuk for?"
@† Seunghyun [H] A doll. Or a mannequin. Those were the only two ways Taeyeob could say he felt like when the man, his co-star he presumed, appeared in front of him and guided him through a whirlwind of instructions. Really, the things Seunghyun had said weren't too many, but Taeyeob was overwhelmed and already completely our of his comfort zone. His weary gaze looked from the man's face to the clothes in his hands back up to Seunghyun, the expression asking, 'Really? Here? Right now?' The makeup artist cleared his throat. He should pull himself together. He was was professional. He'd been on countless sets, sure never as the talent, but he'd be okay.
He responses with a nod and disappeared off to change into the sweatpants and the robe in some corner of the room where he couldn't be seen. He wasn't a model, he wasn't quite used to simply changing in front of others. Once he was set and had his customary breaths in and out, he returned to look around for the man that had greeted him. He was sure Hyuk had told him the man's name, but he couldn't recall it, not when his mind was racing and his heart felt too big for his chest. He finally spotted him, aways away in front of the makeup table and he decided to approach. Perhaps, he would actually be able to speak this time. "I... I'm sorry-- I don't... I don't think I caught your name..."
@‡ Taeyeob Hyuk had explained the concept of the shoot dozens of times by now but Seunghyun felt as though he couldn't recall it even if he was asked. It had been so long since he had worked on a job that his brain metaphorically jumped into an unknown abyss, the new challenge somehow more exciting. Seunghyun changed into a pair of sweat pants from the crew and sat in the middle of the room, a bathrobe pulled snug over his shirtless torso whilst a stylist finished up his hair. It had been styled in a way to look wet, his natural curls being emphasised rather than flattened. He caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror and felt shy, tilting his gaze away from it until the stylist announced they were done. Seunghyun thanked them and stood up to stretch his legs when he heard a quiet voice at the door. "Hyuk you know you can come in- oh." The model paused once he had thrown the door open because it wasn't Hyuk, it was someone else. "Oh, are you Taeyeob? Hi, come in." Hyuk had briefly mentioned Seunghyun's co-star earlier, but when the man seemed to have no intention to step further into the room Seunghyun grabbed his hand and gently tugged him inside before closing the door behind him. "So, this sounds like a joke but I'm being serious and I swear it's not a cheesy pick up line but... You need to change into these lovely things." Seunghyun lifted the extra pair of sweatpants up and wiggled the waistband. "Then take your shirt and clothes off. There's a bathrobe here. Until finally, you can pop your cute in this chair over here." He gestured around the room before he pushed the sweatpants into Taeyeob's hands.
@† Seunghyun [H] Anxiety was a heavy blanket to crawl out of and right now, the air around him felt like a boulder crushing him under its size. Why had he agreed to do this again? Right-- Because Hyuk had bribed him with backstage passes. He really had to get over his fanboy stage. Now the whole thing was getting detrimental. His body carried him through the threshold of the studio, makeup kit in hand. He'd done this a million times before, but today was different. Today he'd be in front of the camera rather than an actor behind the scenes. And that part-- That part he wasn't sure he was ready for. He sighed and looked into the studio, feet led to a well-worn oath until he heard the jingle of familiar voices and sounds, worker bees preparing for a shoot. His head came into the room first and then his body, eyes lost until they found Hyuk. He set his kit down and strode forward, "Hyuk?" The producer turned and his face broke into a smile, chuckling, "Taey-- Thank you for coming... See-- I knew giving you those tickets was a good idea. We're still waiting for set up but your co-star... Is in the dressing room if you'd like to go say hi? You can get changed as well..." Uncertain, the makeup artist nodded, slow, but gave his friend a hug nonetheless and then made cautious progress towards the dressing room. A faint knock later and a whisper and he was at the door, waiting, "Hello?"
Hello, first I am so glad this rp.is still here! Secondly I was wondering how long some one has to be inactive by on hiatus before I can ask for that character? Thanks
