@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu "Oh.." She responded awkwardly. She didn't know how else to respond to that. "I guess it's good, or she wouldn't be happy about the scandal." She excused herself lamely. "It's late, I should be going back now, I'll see you around." She nodded at him, "thanks for everything." Eunjung couldn't trust herself to stay any longer than she had to or she would end up falling for him all over again and that was honestly what she didn't need at this point in her life.
@[iSpark] Ham Eunjung Honestly, Sunggyu had only cared about the scandal because she got tangled into it and it was all because of his playful nature. "It's okay for me. I'm just more worried about y-" Then he decided to not to finish his sentence, it would have came out odd.
A girlfriend? The last he had a real girlfriend was years ago, before he started training under LSE. He went silent for several seconds. Then he suddenly chuckled, realising that he had probably created an awkward moment. "Nope." He ended it short, kind of hoping she wouldn't probe any further.
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu "Sunbaenim... We just got into a scandal, this wouldn't be too good for your career won't it? You just debut.." She sunk into the chair. Truthfully, Eunjung didn't hate his presence, she was just afraid and did she enjoy having him around? She hated to admit but she did. She took small sips from her can of beer and scrunched from the chill of the drink and the bitter taste it gave. "But do you have..." The words just slipped as she was thinking about Sunggyu "a girlfriend?"
@[iSpark] Ham Eunjung "Maybe you can consider me next time?" Sunggyu tilted his head a little and gave a soft smile. He wanted to know her, more than just an acquaintance, at least as a friend. Something he didn't manage to the last time they met. He knew she must have hated him, so much that she didn't even dare to face him. Sunggyu sighed softly in disapproval, he's never gonna be able to get her to relax around him, much more, to break her walls. He hummed a little with a questioning tone when she spoke up. "I'm pretty sure they going to like every part of you." His eyes smiled as he took another sip from the bottle. "I know what you're feeling right now. And I can only say there is nothing to worry about."
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu "Not alone... Then who would I go with to let out some stress?" She looked at him in confusion. He wasn't thinking about making this river trip a regular thing, was he? Maybe in an alternate world where he wasn't a player that didn't take relationships seriously and she wasn't so afraid of getting hurt again, she would allow herself to fall in love with him because maybe- just maybe, she was attracted to Kim Sunggyu. But she had heard stories of how he went through girls like clothes and she didn't want to be the next one. "Sunbaenim. I have a question. After my debut, what do you think people are going to like about me?" She asked out of pure curiosity.
@[iSpark] Ham Eunjung "Aishh.. You don't have to be so formal when it's just us." Sunggyu took the seat beside her. "And thank you.." He took the bottle in his hand and gave it a twist. "...for the drink."
The store had its heater on, it was much warmer inside now. inside, he was hoping she would warm up to him as well. He took back his jacket and put it on the table. "It's alright. It's warm here."
"Maybe next time you don't have to do this alone?" He asked raising his bottle up slightly towards Eunjung before taking a mouthful of soju.
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Thanking him softly, she brought their drinks to the cashier for payment and went outside to the plastic tables and chairs that were for people who bought drinks like themselves. "Sunbaenim, have a seat."
Eunjung sat down herself and removed the jacket he lent her and handed it back. "Here, I think you need this more than I do." She really didn't need his jacket and she didn't want to see him getting cold either.
@[iSpark] Ham Eunjung "You don't have to worry about that silly..." Sunggyu gave Eunjung an eye smile as he followed behind her. "No pain, no gain right?" His eyes wondered about in the store, like a small kid, he was fixated at the shelves of snacks which he wasn't allowed to buy. He pouted to himself as they walked past the snacks and almost went beeline to the frosted fridges. Sunggyu nodded as he held the fridge door open for her.
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Eunjung entered the store, making her way to the beverage fridges. "That's one thing in afraid. Now that I'm going to debut, I'm afraid I already have more antis than fans and affect my group." She said softly while looking at the display of drinks the store had to offer, not used to airing her feelings. She opened one fridge and took out a can of beer and a bottle of fruit soju. "This brand okay?"
@[iSpark] Ham Eunjung "And you know I don't really care what the President says right?" Sunggyu said cheekily. His eyes lit up the moment he heard soju, although it's from a convenience store, but it's better than nothing. "That, I can't promise." Sunggyu answered with the exact same tone. The moon was overhead, slightly over midnight, but the bright lights of the convenience store illuminated the dark street. The streets were empty as it is as dark, there wasn't much people strolling the quiet streets. He was quite certain no paparazzi was following them as he scanned the area.
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu "You do know the company put all of iSpark on diets right?" She said with a chuckle, shoving her palms into her jeans. "But since I'm going to debut, I'll treat you to fruit soju." She motioned to the convenience store and walked ahead of him, expecting him to follow. "I sure hope you didn't bring the paparazzi with you this time." She said with a soft whisper but in a joking tone so he knew she wasn't upset over what happened in the past.
@[iSpark] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu smiled gently as he pulled her up from the ground then almost instinctively releases her hand after she stood up. He knew better that she didn't quite like that. "Please at least eat something when we are there?" He said with a neutral tone, remember the last time he tried to make her eat, she gave a thousand reasons why she shouldn't. This time hoping she would just be a normal person with no restrictions.
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu She stared at his hand for a moment and then back at him and took his hand with the slightest smile. "Sure. Let's go." She whispered. She didn't know when and how she was so comfortable with the idol but after fighting her feelings and her stress for so long, she was tired. She didn't want to hate the man, she didn't want to question her feelings for him and neither did she want to stop anything from happening between them anymore. After all, isn't that what starting a fresh really meant?
@[T] Ham Eunjung "I'm strong enough, don't worry about me." Sunggyu hits his chest with a thump, trying to assure the worried girl that he would be alright. Then he rubs the part where he had just hit, maybe he did it a little too hard, it started to hurt after a while.
"I know there's a 7-11 somewhere down the street, it's warmer there." He told her, standing up again, dusting those little pebbles off his pants. He stretched out his hand, waiting for her to take it, "Let's go."
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu She smiled at how concerned he was. "More like you shouldn't catch a cold. You're an idol, take care of yourself first." She moved nearer towards him, hoping to share some of her body heat with him. "Shall we go to someplace warm?"
She didn't know what to do with the windbreaker. She had hers on and he was only wearing a hoodie. But he wouldn't like it if she gave it back. "Thanks."
@[T] Ham Eunjung 'Calm the down, Kim Sunggyu, you're looking like an idiot in front of the girl you want to impress.' He told himself mentally as he bend down to take the empty seat beside her again. He hate it whenever silence engulf the both of them, it just made the night even colder than it was before. The sound of his windbreak made those ruffling noise as he shifted to get to a better position. He glanced at Eunjung who was sitting still. He then took off his wind breaker and put it over her shoulders, of course he saw that she had hers on all these while. "Don't, catch a cold."
"Following me?" She snorted and sighed. "Now I wonder why. I like to be alone, I don't want to bother my friends, ans I wanted some quiet and I do this a lot so I don't feel like I'm in terrible danger. Does this answer your questions, Mr. Kim Sunggyu?" She looked at him, her face void of emotion, not wanting him to see what she felt inside.
Eunjung was feeling all sorts of things. Annoyed because he stalked her but yet she liked it. It proved that he cared for her. And confused because why was he caring for her?
"Thanks anyway. I appreciate your company. And your advice. And the drink. " she smiled. Being in the dark like that made her feel comfortable with him. It was cold but the ice was melting. She also noticed this was the only time he hadn't touched her. He wasn't so eager to get closer to her as usual.
@[T] Ham Eunjung "Ah.. those worries, this might sound un-comforting but they won't ever leave your mind." Sunggyu told her with a chuckle. "Day 1, worry about fans and anti fans. Day 100, still worrying about fans and anti fans. You see?" Wise words from someone who is living an idol live now. But these word inner thoughts that he wouldn't tell to anyone else. Everyone just thought he was living it, everyone's dreams. "I'm never good with my words either. But people say I am. I guess it just grows as time goes."
"Hey, hey.. Don't worry about age and all, look at the famous people out there. Look at Leeteuk sunbae-nim, look at Yunho sunbae-nim. They are already going in to the army and yet, they still shine as leaders in front of people despite their age. Don't feel that way..." Sunggyu felt the need to touch her, rub her back or something, but he resisted, he knew she wouldn't like his skinship. "You just have to make the best out of it, because you'll never know what tomorrow brings." His eyes fixated to the rippling water, and sometimes passing boats and their noisy engines.
Eunjung repeated her question. Unconsciously, he turned to look at her as he answered, "I-" He paused and cleared his throat. His eyes met with her, almost immediately he turned back facing the waters. "I was following you, I saw you coming out of the company, so I got worried." Then an unknown fiery came into him, he stood up abruptly. "Why were you out alone? Couldn't you bring someone alone? Or go somewhere with more people like Myeongdong or something? Don't you know how dangerous it is to be out alone at night? Or were you-" 'meeting up with someone...' His last question was stuck in his throat.
He stuck his hands in his pocket and clenched his jaw tightly, why was he being overly concern. Would he have done so if it wasn't Eunjung and was someone else?
[ woah.. i didn't notice it was this long >.<
oh btw~ reply at aces dorm? ]
Maybe it was the relaxing splash of the waters against the shore that put her in a good mood. She was more than willing to open up about her feelings that night. She was calmer than usual, despite the chill and strangely much more talkative than usual. "Because I have many thoughts. I got into a scandal with you, and not all your fans are happy about me. I'm debuting soon, and a leader too. I'm not out spoken so I don't know if I can perform that role well. I want this but at the same time I'm scared. I'm already 24. How many more years do I have left as an idol anyway." she brought her knees up to her chest and hugged her legs.
"You haven't answered my question yet," she turned to look at him, "why are you here." And once her eyes landed on his side profile, they couldn't leave. The familiar feeling was slowly coming back, especially in the dark and alone. Just the two of them. Her calm was fading slowly.
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu didn't ask, he just casually took the seat beside her. He slipped his finger onto the cap and gave it a twist. After taking a sip of the drink in his hand, he responded to her question with one of his own. "Then why are you here at such an hour?" There was a small pause after his sentence, then he added an extra word at the end, "Alone."
Surprisingly, Eunjung had not shooed him off like she normally would. He hadn't met her eyes, he just kept his eye line on the dark waters.
@[ACES] Kim Sunggyu Then she felt a figure appear from behind and she raised a threatening fist only to realise it was just Sunggyu. "You-" she looked at him, shocked that he was there. But she welcomed his company. She was getting a little creeped out by the darkness around her anyway. "Thanks." She told him softly but not yet a whisper and took the drink.
"Why are you here? It's cold." She spoke, staring out into the black water, dotted by street lamps and the lights of distant skyscrappers. His drink happened to be warm so she downed it thankfully. The wind at the river was always strong, especially at night.
[ I guess cos I'm the oldest. I actually planned Eunjung's imagenro be like Vixx's Leo. Very introverted even in front of cameras.]
@[T] Ham Eunjung Sunggyu had caught onto the familiar back view of the girl as she left the company building. Not forgetting to put on his masquerade, he adjusted the bill of the loudly designed cap and followed a metre or two behind her. Where was she going at this hour? As safe as Seoul should be, still she shouldn't be out alone at night, another thing to fear about was reporters that were always on watch.
He followed her, she had stopped by the Han river. Seemed like she was caught with too many things in her mind to notice him who was behind all the while. He was really curious what she was doing out at night. Was she meeting someone? That thought came across his mind.
Several minutes had past as he stood behind, watching her every move. She suddenly screamed out at the innocent river before her. He couldn't help but shook his head lightly in disagreement to her actions. As stalker-ish as it might sound, he knew how she must have felt. Suddenly everything pouring into her, the announced new group and the group's debut.
Sunggyu walked closer to where she was seated, by the water. He stuck his hand out in front of Eunjung, in his palm, he offered a bottle of drink. The brightly lit vending machine that they had past, was where he had gotten the drinks from. He should comfort her with something, at least.
[ btw there are changes in leadership for iSpark. and it has nothing to do with me, i swear. /raises both hands up/ ]
Kim Sungyu. Kim Sungyu. Kim Sungyu! That name rang in her head countless times. She was going to debut, she was busy. Why was there even space for her to think of him. "I'M GOING CRAZY!!" she screamed at the dark, cold river. She was someone who spoke softly, kept things to herself and was scared of people.
And then there was the upcoming debut.
She wasn't brilliant at singing, she wasn't the visual of her group, she wasn't the leader or maknae. There was nothing special about her. She was someone who barely spoke too. A background. That was all she expected to be. Being an entertainer was her childhood dream. She wanted to make others smile and she wanted to be loved and recognised for who she was. Her parents loved her a lot but she was greedy for more.
Sighing, she pulled her windbreaker closer to herself and sat down on the ground by the water. Sungyu and her debut were the two things that were bugging her and she needed to clear her thoughts.
I would like to apply for Jay Park. :3 I wanted to ask because I haven't had a chance to check this rp out and I was hiatus for over a year due to my studies. But now I'm back with full force and looking for some good roleplayers! :D
