Hello Charøites ♡ This is probably my first time greeting you through this space but I really wanted to share this amazing experience I had in the Philippines last week for the Asia Artist Awards~ It's my 3rd year running as one of the main MCs for the event, but a very special 1st time for me as a Pandora member ::fireworks:: Thank you so much too, for letting me get an individual award - the AAA Asia Celebrity Award; it makes me happy to see that my hard work is recognised, and it only serves to drive me forward to work even harder. It was a whole 7 hours of great performances and fun, and I can't wait to be back together with the Pandora unnies to go up on stage together. Sorry to all you fans that have been waiting for me to go up on stage once again as an idol, but it's in the works and I'm sure you'll be surprised once it's finally announced; will have to keep you all on your toes and in anticipation first :p just wait for a little bit longer! Also, it's winter now and it's really harsh, so remember to keep warm, wear many many layers and drink hot drinks to keep yourself healthy ♡ we'll be back soon, I promise :3 I have a question to ask all of you though, which dress looks better on me, the red or the blue? ( I'll post more photos on Instagram, don't worry ;) )

to our dearest generals, thank you for loving me and cha eunwoo as a person. i've been thinking about this for quite a while now, and have seeked out the thoughts from my members and the company management as well.

the name "cha eunwoo" has been a name that i've stuck through for a long time, ever since my debut as an actor years back, through various problems that arose and even till now after making my debut in x.mpire. however, there are still a lot of things that i'm unable to do with that name, with it being tied up to a lot of impressions and connotations. i believe that to improve as a person and to push past my limits and boundaries, a change had to be done.

moving forward, i, ryu joonghyuk, will be going with the stage name "ryuk", as of today. it being a shortened form of my birthname means that i can embody myself fully in whatever i do from now on, not hiding behind any persona or picture that is displayed onto me by media and the public. thank you all for loving cha eunwoo, and please continue to love me, ryu joonghyuk and ryuk, in the future as well.

I am doing well and currently recovering after having a knee surgery. Doctor said I have to take it easy for awhile but do not worry! I will try to recover fully as soon as possible! I trully am sorry for making you guys worried over me. I got a lot of encouraging messages and that give me strength to go through it all. I promise you, I will return to you once more after completing my therapy and all. Sun loves you♡
