*whimpers softly as she shakes her head in rejection, her hips already leaning away before she got captured and hoisted hight. her legs probably might have passed out and wasn't moving anymore when he makes a round before heading towards the barrier edges where she is placed promptly. with her eyes widening in both shock and surprise, she faces the new friend and frowns slightly*
I would have passed out from the sudden move you pulled. and yes, i rather be chucked in /after/ being given a heads up that it will happen.
*grumbling softly, one hand is holding onto the edge and another hand is stretched out to find her balance as she struggles to find the center of her balance*
oh here we go...
*mutters to herself as she put one feet out an inch from where it is resting and then pauses for a good bit before attempting with another feet of hers. she repeats this action over and again until she is properly skating just like how she could with roller blades. feeling the cold air hitting her face, she can't help but to smile a little*
oh okay, it isn't too bad but- HOW DO I BRAKE???????
*she comes to a realisation that she hasn't learnt the basics and is now panicking after that pang of realisation*

@❀ akanishi ayame ᵗʳᵃᶤᶰᵉᵉ rescue you? are you mad? jack didn't rescue e. that bloke just clung onto a giant piece of wood he very well could've fit on and killed himself. i think he just didn't want to cope with a highstrung upper class gal and thought, ' this bird i'd rather drown'.
(snorts in disbelief and allows ayame some space to get comfortable with the new surroundings, tapping the edge of his blades against the carpet flooring with increasing anticipation until rolling his eyes)
alright. my patience is quickly dwindling. time to grow some balls.
(groans as he suddenly places both hands over her waistline and hoists her up high with shocking ease before stepping onto the ice past the entrance door, gliding carefree as ever until circling back towards the barrier edges)
there. happy now? next time you better get it over with quick unless you want me to chuck you inside like it's a pool.

*pats the top of his head defeatedly and lets out a small raspberry as well, thinking if she will ever come out of the rink alive and not sliced*
yes, teacher! I will pay attention. hmm not to feel like my blood circulation's cut off. mhm aye aye. double knot? it's allowed? Ohhhhh
*looks on in earnest, trying to absorb and learn as much as she can before wiggling her toes inside the skates and moves it by the ankles. she looks up to his hand being extended towards her and she grabs it without a second thought. obviously she could find her center of gravity pretty easy but moving them is just another whole question*
I think i'm going to cling for dear life like rose in the movie. so you better come and rescue me like Jack did. I was wondering why it is so blunt so that's the covers...
*waddles over to the edge like a frigging pregnant penguin and cautiously bends over to take the blade covers off, putting her dominant feet out first onto the ice, feeling somewhat thrown off by the "texture" of the ice*
uhhhhhhhh. Wait.
*already clinging onto the entrance door and grimaces sadly*

(blows an exhausted raspberry with his lips as he can't help but sigh and drop his head down to rest over her lap with defeat, only gazing back up again to catch a glimpse of her precious pouty expression that makes his heart skip beats against its will)
i'll teach you, but you better pay attention yea? you want to make sure you're laced up as tight as you can take it while still being just comfortable enough not to feel like your blood circulation's cut off. you've also got to knot 'em good. i double knot just in case. like this—
(slowly demonstrates so she can memorize his advice before finishing up her laces and taking her hand within his contrastingly gentle grasp, standing up to lead her over towards the edge of the rink)
you'll want to stay close to the barriers for now. hold on if you need support, but don't cling for dear life like you're ing rose from titanic. it takes a bit to find your balance and get used to being on the ice, but it's easier than you think. oh, and make sure to slip the blade covers off before you come in.

@♣ maxwell hwang ᶠᵃᶰ *whimpers softly at his explosive cursive wordy bullets being shot one after another as she continue to run her fingers through his hair, even at one point, tucking it behind one ear while putting on the most saddest puppy look ever, her lower lip jutting out slightly and quivering it to top the cherry on the cake*
hng- you know, it's my first time being on ice and i didn't know what to expect or do. and note taken on that.
*brings her hand atop his on her knee to pat gently*

(playfully shouts just to get the last word in and shakes his head with a predictable little disgruntled grumble beneath his breath, soon thereafter focusing on the task of securing her laces properly; that is until he's met with a harsh whack atop his head and groans aloud in pain)
are you taking the piss right now?! have you any idea how important it is to keep these ing laces tight and steady, you ing barmy nutter?
(dark eyes turn icy once his piercing sharp glare peeks up at ayame, gritting his teeth to resist from completely exploding with verbal rage at the uncalled for abuse and only manages to release it once she entangles her touch through his messy midnight locks with comfort, resting a hand over her knee in a silent show of forgiveness)
ugh... listen, love. they've /got/ to be tight. you don't want your laces loosening up, making the shoe itself become unstable around your feet, and creating problems on the ice. that's how you get injured real quick.

*yells back in retaliation before slumping down on the bench and looks helplessly at the skates she just got, trying to remember how she had put her roller blades on before. with her face crunching up in concentration, she bent over to take her sneakers off before putting them on and let her hands fall to her side again*
I ain't whining and i'm just figuring out how to do it- oh never mind. thank you da- OW!
*her hand instinctively reaches out to smack the top of his head when he ties the laces a little too tight for her liking and she freezes right after, not saying a word and her eyes only widening in both shock and surprise. only then did she unfreeze a couple minutes later that she bring her other hand to his tresses in apology*
i'm so sorry for smacking your millions-dollar head, don't cuss me out!

(shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly as he glides across the ice with grace and preciseness, building up momentum until he can launch his body some feet into the air and holds his chest in tight as the world seems to spin around him. four and a half quick intervals within the air and finally gravity pulls him back down to earth, landing on a single blade with his free limbs stretching out like an elegant swan)
...ugh, for 's sake. i'll help you alright? sit down. and don't whine when it hurts.
(sighs once he rushes towards the edge of the rink and steps back onto carpet, quickly sliding the protective blade covers over his skates so he can walk over to where she's at and kneels down onto the floor to begin lacing hr up as tight as humanly possible)

@♣ maxwell hwang ᶠᵃᶰ *she rolls her eyes playfully at his reply back and scoffs out loud, pondering how she had been able to put up with him all these while. perhaps only because her personality is easy-going, his hurtful words will just fly over her head anyways. as according to the text, she heads to the back exit door instead and enters, seeing a familiar lean-sized man just waiting and seeing the premises pretty empty. not only did she just opened the door, she get blasted in a not so welcoming way*
oh boy, i just arrived and you get all grumpy-cat. calm down, i'm coming. Do i just go through-
*points to the door that is labelled STAFF ONLY before shrugging and enters to find the size for her before yanking it out and heads back to where he is*
Well if you wanna do a little of the /professional work/ to warm up, why not? I might take a while to get these skates on.

(scoffs are he sets the phone down by his bluetooth speaker before returning to the routine he's been practicing for nearly an hour already, having arrived much earlier to get himself warmed up and focused considering he hasn't had nearly as much practice during his career's off season. once he hears the door creak open and notices ayame's familiar face, he calls out with a blunt attitude)
about damn time you showed up! right then, find yourself a pair of skates and get your cheeky arse in here. unless you'd prefer to simply watch the professional at work.

@♣ maxwell hwang ᶠᵃᶰ *after making plans on doing some skating at the local ice rink and brunch afterwards, she cannot be anymore excited at the fact that she will be finally skating after probably, never. truth be told, it is her first time doing some actual skating on ice instead of the floor/ground where she is more accustomed to and here to hoping that it will go well. wondering if she has to call maxwell, she arrives at the entrance of the rink and peers up at the signage for a bit, seeing his huge poster next to it and snorts amusingly before taking a picture of that and then sending a message to him instead of a call*
