@♔ jung heshi 「ᴘᴇᴘᴘᴀ」ᵇᵃᶜᵏᵘᵖ ᵈᵃⁿᶜᵉʳ Oh man, this tiny little thing was loud. Hopefully not loud enough to be heard from stage. There was so much emotion in this fun-sized woman, he could hear it in her breath that this was her being calm in this situation. Ah, he felt so bad since it was his mistake. There wasn't anything he could say but that he was sorry, even if she spoke over him. He could only smile as her reaction was called for. Though, it seemed to him that going on stage for her must have been really important - the tension that was building up in her eyes disappeared as he urged her in with his hand on her head. He perked an eyebrow toward the door, telling her, "Go on, now," as she batted her eyelashes at him.
He waved at her as she bid him goodbye, shaking his head as she thanked and apologized to him - it was his bad after all, but there wasn't anything he could say as she rushed onto stage, looking back at him with a big grin. He couldn't help but smile and wave back, mouthing to her, "Good luck!" and closing the door as the stage began.
From the stage door, Haneul could hear the music loud and clear. The song was cute and bubbly, not really that good, but definitely cute enough to make up for that. He laughed to himself as he couldn't believe that that backup dancer belonged on stage. The bubbliness of the music was on par with her outfit and personality. He thought to himself that these producers really did know how to do their jobs.
As the stage came to a close, Haneul stood guard, taking in a deep breath as he wasn't sure if he would be disciplined by the manager of this stage for barring one of their backup dancers from getting on or if after a good workout, if she would come out and give him an earful herself.
@♔ jung heshi 「ᴘᴇᴘᴘᴀ」ᵇᵃᶜᵏᵘᵖ ᵈᵃⁿᶜᵉʳ She was persistent, her eyes were filled with desperation, and she was stomping her feet like a little toddler. Haneul could only sigh as he felt a tantrum coming his way and he was not equipped to handle the outcome. He glanced at the fake id badge she shoved in his face and held it between his fingers. It felt cheap. He flipped it over to the back where it was blank, which most temporary badges for backup dancers were, but he was still suspicious. He took another look at the young woman as she complimented his name, breaking character with an amused blow through the nose as her train of thought got interrupted. Either she was a very dedicated fan or she really was a backup dancer - but he couldn't let her in until he got absolute confirmation.
Haneul put his hand over her badge and lowered it out of his face, picking up his radio and calling somebody in, "Hey, this is Shin at the stage door, could somebody with a scanner come help me real quick?" and putting it to his ear to hear a reply back from somebody across the room on the other side of the crowd. Then placed his hand on top of her head in comfort.
Whether she was a crazy fan or not, she seemed distressed and he couldn't help but console her like he would any other girl. "Don't worry," He comforted her, "You won't get in trouble." Situations like these were his weakness, but at least she wasn't crying yet.
As he consoled her, he caught a glimpse of the other security guard coming through the crowd and immediately acknowledged him, trading the pat on her head for her badge in his hand. "Hey man, can you scan this badge for me?" He asked, then explained with a bit of a white lie, "She was having trouble getting it to scan earlier and I just wanted to make sure it worked just in case it puts her in jeopardy later."
Then with a boop beep bop, the scanner proved that her badge was real and that Haneul was being an for keeping her out here despite her having everything she needed to identify her for stage clearance, which included costume. Whoops!
"Thanks, man! I appreciate it," He greeted the other security guard goodbye and opened the door for the young lady to the stage.
"Sorry about that," He apologized with an awkward, thin grin, then smoothed the flyaways in her hair, "Hurry in before you miss your cue."
@♔ jung heshi 「ᴘᴇᴘᴘᴀ」ᵇᵃᶜᵏᵘᵖ ᵈᵃⁿᶜᵉʳ In terms of this industry, Haneul was a little new. He'd done security jobs for offices and high-profile companies before, but it seemed that the entertainment industry had an entirely different dynamic to it than he was used to in this sort of setting. In fact, it felt more like his job as a nightclub bouncer in terms of keeping people out where they didn't belong and remembering faces of those who were problematic. There was a lot of information to keep track of, but it was nothing that Haneul couldn't handle. Generally, he just took note of managers and the people who were under their wing, then took note of the common faces of fans, especially the ones with the big cameras, as it was emphasized in his orientation to keep these fans as far as possible from artists.
Since Haneul hadn't received a permanent assignment yet, he'd been just filling holes in security, keeping an eye out on the stage door. Pretty much everybody who needed to be on the other side of the stage door was already there, aside from a few stragglers and the occasional PA who was running in and out. Things were going smoothly until he saw the arm of a petite woman reach out from the crowd of people on standby dressed as if she were a backup dancer. He took a glance over her to see if he recognized her as he wanted to make sure he familiarized himself with as many faces as possible. As she approached closer, he could recognize her face from an event before this. She wasn't there as a backup dancer, but one of the fans in the front rows with one of those huge cameras that would obnoxiously flash with every burst. She must have been one of those crazy fans he'd heard of so often.
He stepped in front of the door, looking down upon the petite woman with an unwavering gaze. "I'm sorry, but fans aren't allowed on stage," He stated rather calmly for the situation, "If you'd like to watch the performance, please try to enter through the audience entrance." He took note of her hair and outfit and was impressed at what lengths these fans would go to to look the part. If he hadn't recognized her as a fan, he probably would have messed up and let her in if she were crafty enough to make a fake id badge. He reached his hand out to bar her from the door, doubling as a gesture toward the exit, "Just follow the signs for the exit and it'll bring you back out."
