Well, I've prepared bit of both so while you're here, why don't you be the judge of it? Whichever style wins, I'd do it as a base for the upcoming battle. And if neither doesn't work, well... i guess taking you as a dance partner wont violate the rule?

@♔ jeon minjun 「ᴀᴄᴇ」ᶜʰᵒʳᵉᵒᵍʳᵃᵖʰᵉʳ a soft pout instantly rests on her lips the more that she gets to her ace speak, because yes, they might have had a bit of an intense discussion not too long ago but deep down she knows not even that could’ve gotten in the way of how much trust she had for the fellow choreographer. ace had always just been one of those dancers lani knows she could depend on for absolutely anything, so she could only hope to be of much help as much as he has been for her. opting to shoot him a tinge of comforting praise, she reaches forth to gently pat him by the shoulder a couple of times before bestowing a gentle squeeze, her nose crinkling softly. “please.. i know you’d be able to come up with something and it’d totally be the best thing ever, from you i know i can’t ever expect anything less but the best because that is who you are. you’re the ace, our ace. but should you need a little shove in what could be the right direction, i wouldn’t mind helping out one bit!” she beams, head nodding affirmatively as a fist of determination raises upwards to signify her fighting support for the male. “is there anything you have been leaning a bit more towards out of everything you just mentioned? might be a sign for something to explore a bit more in. from there you might just be able to get a proper feel of things and essentially carry on for a finished piece? you know sometimes it does have to be about trusting the process after all, but most importantly— trusting yourself.”

The trust she had placed in Lani had been met with a compassionate and open-hearted response, solidifying their mentorship as one built on mutual respect and understanding. As Junho shared more, he felt a weight lifting off his shoulders with each passing word. Lani's insight and encouragement made him realize he didn't have to face his "challenges" alone. He felt heard, validated, and appreciated. After their conversation, Junho felt a newfound sense of happiness and relief. He was grateful for Lani's unwavering support and the safe space she provided for him to express himself. Opening up had strengthened their bond and helped him see that vulnerability could lead to positive outcomes. "So how about we start practicing, I want to learn some more intense choreo for right now, and I need to work on my krumping skills also, they are a bit lacking at this point.

Humming in respond to her question, Ace eventually shook his head. "For that, I'm not sure yet. Do I want to make a new choreo, or should I just redo my old work. Should I go with the casual dance or should I go with the hiphop one. I don't want to be half-assed even though it's just a friendly dance battle. I have reputation to uphold after all. I already let you down about work earlier, I don't want to let you down in the thing that matter the most for both of us."

@♔ jeon minjun 「ᴀᴄᴇ」ᶜʰᵒʳᵉᵒᵍʳᵃᵖʰᵉʳ after some time of wrapping things up in her office, lani is easily seeing her way to studio b as requested and essentially peeking in through the door the moment she gets near, head first with a cheeky smile at the man of the hour. “boop. there you areee.” she added with a soft chuckle, walking in with her hands idly held behind her back until she ultimately gets to stand beside ace, her gaze scintillating in visible anticipation. “so what have we got here, hm? some new choreo in the works? or..”

@❀ kang junho 「ʏᴏʀᴜ」ˣ.ᵐᵖⁱʳᵉ the astonishment never once left her visage, instead growing more evident as she listened to the younger male opening up about something he seemed fairly insistent on hiding from her at very first glance. though, lani did not blame yoru for it one bit nor did she see it as anything of the negative narrative. she appreciated the art of tattoos, had some ink of her own, and knew those almost always meant something deeper than what meets the eye. surely, for yoru it was just as important in his own way and the dancer was able to respect that, nodding approvingly with the same soft smile never leaving her rosy lips. “that is.. amazing. it really is, yoru! sure, some might not take to it too kindly around here especially in the kpop industry, but i don’t think it should be anything to worry about. so long as you stay true to yourself with these tattoos, that is all that genuinely matters.” she added, gently patting him by the shoulder through means of comfort.

@— ♔ leilani dairoenkul 「ʟᴀɴɪ」ᶜʰᵒʳᵉᵒᵍʳᵃᵖʰᵉʳ Ace stood there, looking at his reflection on the mirror with a little sigh. He was supposed to have a week off but here he was, inside the studio again, preparing for a dance battle the Yoru kid brought up. He knew how good Yoru was so he didn't want to be half-assed in the 'battle' later. Though for some reason, he just couldn't bring himself to dance the way he wanted.

@— ♔ leilani dairoenkul 「ʟᴀɴɪ」ᶜʰᵒʳᵉᵒᵍʳᵃᵖʰᵉʳ Panicked Yoru stepped back a bit from Lani, "I have no idea-" He sighed, brushed his sweaty hair out of his eyes, and slumped down to the ground. He couldn't lie to Lani, there was no possible way he could after everything she had done for him since he got to Lotus and South Korea, nonetheless. He stood back up and smiled lightly, retelling the full story to Lani. "I was seventeen and I drew them myself in my sketchbook when I was sixteen, I went with no one and it was done in Osaka. I am not even twenty-five percent of the way done with them." Looking at her nervously now he smiled lightly, "My family and friends do not know anything about it, and I don't want the fans knowing either once I have my debut stage, I don't want the company or my manager knowing either, not even my members, I know what tattoos are viewed as over here, and its going to be a lot of work for the make-up artist for whoever has to cover me up. Or the same with stylist that has to dress me in non-revealing clothes all the time."

@❀ kang junho 「ʏᴏʀᴜ」ˣ.ᵐᵖⁱʳᵉ lani had just finished teaching a class and was well on her way home for the day until realising she had mistakenly left something behind. retracing her steps back to studio b, the young choreographer is seeing her way in until she is brought to a stop in mere minutes from seeing the tatted back of a mere stranger— no, yoru. instantly, she was stunned. “oh, i’m usually around at this hour and you know that! but what i didn’t know was that you had all that ink to yourself. that’s not fresh, is it? it’s so cool!” she beamed as her steps brought her closer to the more than familiar male she was always so happy to see, her gaze easily trained to where she last spotted the tattoos.

@— ♔ leilani dairoenkul 「ʟᴀɴɪ」ᶜʰᵒʳᵉᵒᵍʳᵃᵖʰᵉʳ Junho was excited to be back in Studio Danz, his home away from home, he always felt perfectly safe here and could be himself and he was never judged. It was like he had the whole world in his fingertips whenever he was here. He would sometimes sleep here also, even help out on occasion, and obviously learn from the best choreographer in the world Lani!

Holding his backpack he entered into the building and worked his way up to Studio B, waving at all the kids that were leaving and he laid down in the empty room and started a routine he was working on where 50% of the dance took place with floor movements and with krumping motions. He was getting a bit hot and decided to take his shirt off, since he knew that no one else was there and no one would be able to see what he was hiding. He was relaxed and dancing until he heard someone open the door and he quickly rushed to put his shirt on. "Oh uh... hi Lani, what are you doing here at this hour?"

@♔ nishikawa megumi 「ᴍᴏᴍᴏ」ᶜʰᵒʳᵉᵒᵍʳᵃᵖʰᵉʳ Mina was currently practicing in the dance practice after her class. She chose to stay behind because she is struggling to keep up the new routine she had learned from there. "Ugh..why can I get it right?!" She sighed in frustration when she kept on falling onto the ground. Even though Mina is confident, she still struggles to get everything right since she couldn't keep up the new routine due to her perfectionism. The latter decided to take a five-minute break by sitting at the corner of the room, drinking her water bottle.

@♔ heo mina ᵇᵃᶜᵏᵘᵖ ᵈᵃⁿᶜᵉʳ that's true~ but rest assured, you're not going to ruin anything because I'm not telling you anything~
