@❀ shin doah ᵃᶜᵗᵒʳ Nico's eyes went a bit wide as Doah seemed to burn herself, but he kept his demeanor warm, a similarly warm smile gracing his lips when she responded to him. He shook his head a few times, understanding the chaos and the stress she may be feeling from it, or perhaps there wasn't much. Whatever the case, he didn't feel the need to judge as he fully understood it. When she read his name, her reaction caused his eyes to go a bit wide as he stood a bit straighter. "Oh- wait, I..." Upon realizing Doah was his new client, he quickly made sure his hands were empty before pulling out and opening a folder he'd previously had tucked under his arm, reading over the information inside of it. Afterwards, his eyes raised to meet hers as a more embarrassed smile seemed to form. "I apologize- I should have noticed earlier but... It's truly wonderful to meet you. Perhaps it could be a good thing for us to meet a bit before the meeting to make things less awkward?" He asked, a slight laugh leaving his lips.

"darn it all..." she mumbled, making sure no drop had been spilled anywhere, perhaps she had been to eager...and well too hungry. amidst her little chaotic beginning she spots a young lad, one that was making her way towards her, she just hoped he hadn't caught sight of her nearly spilling her drink. she swiftly stands from her seat and bows to him, eyes falling on the badge in his hand. "greetings- oh! goodness it's my first day here and already running around like a headless chicken, not a good look I suppose?" she chuckles and takes her employee badge back. "thank you, I'll definitely be needing this, thanks again mister..." she pauses for second to scan his badge as well, the name instantly ringing familiar. "xiao changyin? you're mister xiao? you have impeccable timing, I'm sure you've been busy so the name might not be familiar but I am shin doah indeed your...new client? we actually have a meeting scheduled later today! it's a pleasure to meet you!"

Nico found himself making his way to the company cafe, something he only did on especially rough days, a bit of a rush in his walking despite not truly having anywhere to be for close to three hours. He simply was eager to get back to his work, doing whatever he could to get ahead in case anything came up that could potentially put him behind schedule. He placed an order for a white chocolate mocha latte, a treat he'd only recently decided to try, and as he was picking up his drink he noticed the badge sat on the counter. With a quick glance around the area, he located the owner of the badge, picking it up carefully in his free hand before approaching the woman, offering a slight bow as he got closer. "Excuse me, are you miss.. Shin Doah? I believe you left this at the counter."

as soon as she had come in through the agency doors she was taken upstairs to take her picture for her employee ID and the badge was handed to her within the hour. she was provided with a brochure and a company map as well. given that it was early in the morning she had sacrificed her breakfast to be extra early (not that she was one to really skip meals) and so now she had found herself at the company café, deciding to reward herself with a hot pumpkin spice oatmilk latte, a pastry and a small sandwich. she had gone to sit to enjoy her little treat not realizing she had left her badge right by the counter after she had paid.
