@† Kujo [H] The rhythm of Jaewook's heart matched that of his feet, an anxious, excited cadence to them. He could barely keep himself from breaking into anything that resembled a sprint. Could he be blamed for his excitement? He was getting married and the sooner he was reunited with his lover the sooner he'd be able to finally call Kujo Takuma his husband. The lawyer came to a stop at his assigned destination and only then did his heartbeat and anxious breath remain.

The seconds of wait stretched into eternity, no end sight for the final moments he passed as an unmarried man. When would it end? What an agony it was to live in. Finally, through his lamenting, the lawyer heard a murmur rise in the leaves around him. The wedding was small, but the forest and the creatures that lie within it would bear witness. The babbling of a creek nearby, the rustling of the leaves in the wind, the sounds of all the curious little beings nearby-- each one a soft celebratory praise for the union that was to come.

The lawyer at last raised his head to be met with the sight of his husband-to-be at his side. The change in the lawyer was beautifully dramatic, as chaotic yet elegant as the bang that had set the universe in motion-- the universe that Jaewook now occupied solely with Kujo and their growing family. His anxiety vanished and in its place he found nothing but adoration, warm, comforting, a hug on a snowy day. He smiled and brought his hand forward to squeeze Kujo's. How radiant could one man be? His voice lilted, melodic without meaning to, "Thank you, love. You look stunning... I assure you every omnipotent being in this universe is jealous over how beautiful you look." An exaggeration some may have called it, but Jaewook found the compliment sincere. His fiancé held the skills of all perfection in his hands and no one could convince Jaewook otherwise. His body drew Kujo forward until his lips met the man's forehead. He smiled, "I love you. Shall we, baby? I can't wait to be your husband."

The lawyer pulled himself away enough to gesture forward, an officiant ready to guide them through the festivities of the day.

@† Jaewook [H] Even a few months ago, Kujo wouldn't have been able to imagine this day. A wedding. A promise of eternity, to tie the knot with law as well as their over spilling love for one another. And really, there was nobody better to take that leap with. Nobody he'd rather spend the rest of his life. So many sweet daydreams had already happened in his mind - growing older together, surrounded by rescue pups of all kinds and backgrounds, all finding a family full of love and security with them. A dreamy smile upon his lips, Kujo's hand ran absently over the front of his suit, over his stomach. Maybe they wouldn't just be surrounded by dogs.

That was another way the sweet lawyer he was marrying had entirely shaken up his life. He had never pictured himself with kids - they felt like too much responsibility. He carried a type of worry surrounding them - his parents had never put in the effort for him when they had his sister, what if he ended up following them in that? He shook his head to himself. No, their parenting only motivated him to make sure both little beans felt equally loved, and always showered with the nurturing they needed to grow into confident and strong young people. "You're going to become little Kim-Takuma's today, babies. Are you proud? I am. I can't wait to be Kujo Kim-Takuma," He announced to them quietly. He helped, he found, to include them in his stray thoughts. It made them feel more involved in the outside world too, he was sure.

At last, he drew himself up, a final once-over all he needed to be at peace that he looked good enough. His sister was waiting for him just outside the door. Straightening up, he smiled, their arms hooking together in one fluid motion. With very few guests, it was somewhat comforting to just be the two of them. As expected, there was no arrival or word from his parents, so he'd simply left it at that, no effort left to give to them. He'd create his own happiness and his own little family with the people who cared. His sister was more than happy to come, of course. Shorter than him and with the fiery light in her eyes, he realised of course that she and Jaewook had never met - but introductions could come after they were married.

It didn't take long for him to be safely delivered to the lawyer's side. He could barely contain himself, an overwhelming sense of warmth welling up in his chest, so much so that he choked on any words he could've possibly gotten out. This was his husband. All his. Forever. He was blessed with spending forever with this gorgeous man in front of him. He reached out, his hand finding Jaewook's, a smile playing on his lips. "You look so beautiful, baby," He whispered.

@† Kujo [H] Winter had come and gone and spring now laid out in front of them in full flourish. The air was sweet and more than a creature or two found itself awakening from a long, cozy slumber into the flowering in the air. The flora, too, had the same idea, bits of brilliant greens, reds, yellows, and nearly every other color threatening to burst from anxious buds. There was serenity in the air, a peaceful calm, but also an electricity that roiled in barely-contained waves, ready to burst and bloom over the dormant forest. The time was of exciting renewal and new beginnings. The timing was perfect.

Much like the nature around him, so too did Jaewook feel at peace, but anxious and euphoric all at once. The two had seemingly conspired together, emotions reflected in one now too in the other. Only one emotion escaped the nature around him: disbelief. Even as Jaewook stepped into his suit, the disbelief never left him. A healthy, dubious perspective that perhaps this was all a dream. That he wasn't here, waiting, mere minutes away from marrying Kujo Takuma. Unlike the flora and fauna around him that felt certain yeah after year of winter's demise and spring's rise, Jaewook had long put aside his certainty that a partner would ever come for him, much less marriage. And yet here he was.

His eyes wandered to the man in the mirror, a reflection of himself, and yet all he could see was Kujo, standing before him, the soft smile he'd become addicted to brilliant on his face. Even if he had imagined getting married, he couldn't have imagined anyone more perfect than his fiancé; someone who made him feel as if he existed in a cozy embrace amongst the soothing sounds of warm rain during a summer afternoon or as joyous and wonderstruck as a child discovering sweets for the first time or as passionate and addicted as a hummingbird was to nectar, Kujo was, after all, the sweetest nectar in every way. He chuckled to himself, half in joviality and half in that same disbelief. Kujo really was his. They'd been each other's for so long, but after today, there would be no question, legally, emotionally, or physically. Jaewook allowed himself to smile, to feel the elation abounding and consume any nervous or anxious energy he felt.

The lawyer took a calming breath, just in time. His eyes turned to the sudden intrusion of his joyous cocoon, his father a few steps away. It was time. He released the breath he'd been holding and then came forward after a final glance. He was ready-- more than ready to face his future with Kujo, the man that he couldn't possibly love or adore more.
