*˚✦ trainees.

Trainees are talented people who either successfully audition or are scouted into one of the 2 available entertainment companies (Noir or Sunrise) to start the process of becoming an idol. All trainees must live in designated company trainee dorms and participate in various activities. They will take classes from experienced trainers, practice to hone their skills, be evaluated on their progress,  and overall must maintain activity in the roleplay. We strive to debut a variety of different idol types ranging from groups, soloists, bands, etc.

Remember that all debuts are at the admin team's discretion. We will determine who gets to debut based on various factors such as your activity, if you engage in trainee-related activities or threads, your character's talents and desires for their career, etc. Your debut may be delayed if you are not relatively active overall.

*˚✦ idols.

Idols are those who have debuted as entertainers. Every idol or group will have different work schedules and different tasks depending on what suits their needs. However, there are basic activities that all are expected to follow. Failure to be active and fulfill your IC duties can potentially get you demoted back to trainee status.

Remember that all debuts and comebacks are at the admin team's discretion. We will determine who gets to debut/comeback based on various factors such as your activity, if you engage in idol-related activities or threads, your character's talents and desires for their career, etc. Your comebacks may be delayed if you are not relatively active overall.

*˚✦ producers.

Producers create music for idols to perform. They compose the beats, write lyrics, and are in charge of helping the idols use their vocal talents to make songs perfect. This type of job is always independent and will not sign any exclusive contract with an entertainment company, giving them freedom to work with multiple companies or idols.

Idols and trainees will be allowed to produce songs and write lyrics ONLY if your character has the talents for it. If you wish to claim any IC credits for songs, please refer to the Songbook room.

*˚✦ managers.

Managers are in charge of supervising a debuted idol or group. They must make sure the idol they're managing is fulfilling their duties, following schedules, participating in whatever task or event is required, and are appropriately behaving during business affairs.

Managers must NOT take advantage of or abuse their power over any idol. They cannot force an idol to be active or perform their duties. Managers can only check in, assist, and encourage idols to do their jobs. Managers also can not enforce official punishments or consequences to the idols they manage, only admins are at discretion to do so. Small punishments or consequences may be permitted for the sake of IC threads (such as giving a stern reprimanding for bad behavior, encouraging to work out or practice better habits, etc).

We will only accept managers when we have a debuted idol or group who is in need of one. If you are applying for a manager spot, you will work for the same company that the idol or group you've chosen is signed with.

*˚✦ choreographers & backup dancers.

Choreographers are skilled dancers who can create and compose dance routines for idols. Backup dancers are also very skilled dancers, but instead of creating choreographies, they simply act as supportive dancers in music videos, practices, or stage performances. It is possible to work as both as long as your character has both dance and choreography as a talent. Just remember to state which one is your main occupation when applying. This type of job is always independent and will not sign any exclusive contract with an entertainment company, giving them freedom to work with multiple companies or idols.

*˚✦ stylists & makeup artists.

Stylists are in charge of creating or designing outfits, curating stylish looks, and making idols "look the part". Makeup artists do the same, except they have a focus on makeup and beauty rather than fashion. This type of job is always independent and will not sign any exclusive contract with an entertainment company, giving them freedom to work with multiple companies or idols.

*˚✦ actors.

Actors and actresses are theatrical professionals who act in television productions, movies, stage theatre, music videos, voice acting, etc. This job must choose a company to sign with who will manage their career. Actors will be able to gain roles no matter what company they choose, but be aware that you are more likely to get easier roles working within your own company; For example, acting in a music video of an idol group under the same company.

*˚✦ influencers.

Influencers are celebrities who are not idols, but still maintain a career in the entertainment industry. Influencers can be YouTubers, livestreamers, podcast hosts, etc. This type of job can choose to sign with a company if they wish, but may also be independent. Those who sign a contract with a company will be managed by the company and given special opportunities. However, independent influencers manage themselves and are in complete control of their own careers.

*˚✦ reporters.

Reporters are in charge of reporting the news and keeping up with the latest gossip or updates from the entertainment industry. All reporters can write their own articles and post them ONLY in the Stardom News room under the social tab. This type of job is always independent and will not sign any exclusive contract with an entertainment company.

*˚✦ fans.

Fans are the regular everyday people who love and enjoy the content that gets released by their favorite figures in the entertainment industry. Fans may have any occupation you want such as a student, food service worker, lawyer, etc. They can also own their own fansite in tribute to their favorite idols if desired, but this is not mandatory. Refer to the Requests room if you want your own fansite room. This type of job is always independent and will not sign any exclusive contract with an entertainment company.

Although many events will be catered towards trainees and idols, fans will also get to participate in just as many events. They will often have an important role to play towards an idol's success as fans have a major sway over popularity, album and merch sales, comeback or concert successes, etc.

We will allow a limited number of sasaeng / anti fans. If you wish to have such a character, all IC drama or potentially triggering plots MUST be discussed and consented to by everyone involved. Please state in your application if you are applying for a saesaeng and/or anti fan character so we are aware.
