after barely escaping from the clingy friend and the birthday boy's antics to get her to stay even a bit longer in the lounge room, she has to climb up stairs just to get to here since she knew nobody would want to climb that much and let out a sigh of relief with a gush of cool win greeting her on the face. she then tilted her face skyward and practically had to squint her eyes to admire the clear blue sky. "what a beautiful day...", she mumbled under her breath and made a move towards the empty bench at the corner, one end being blocked by a row of potted hedges giving the privacy she needed.

as soon as she took her seat, she tucked her right leg under her and then popped the tab off, biting off the edge of the pizza slice and chewed thoughtlessly into the empty space before her. subconsciously, she brought the can of cola to her lips, chugging down thick slurps of it before setting it down. again, she ate with no notions in her head.
