@✧ reece nishiya「ʀᴇᴀᴘ.ʀ」ᵈᵒˣ Yeseo has had her time dealing with many celebrities. Each one often spurning their own images in different lights. There were those who weren't angels, but hid their horns behind an angelic smile that could fool the devil himself. Then there were those who were all business, not caring about the purpose of those they were set to work with, their end goal being their own fame and popularity. However, Mr. Nishiya--Reece, as he preferred, made Yeseo question his demeanor.
The young male, handsome with distinct features, was rather blunt. It did not seem like he cared to put on a false display to win her good words on the article she has to write about him. Feeling rather put in a sticky situation, the reporter took her seat at the chair opposite him, fumbling with her items: a pen, notebook, and voice recorder. She set up the table before them in ways that suited her style of interviews, however, her eyes cautiously glanced at the male to observe his movements. He didn't seem too interested in what she was doing, she believes, this was business after all, not a tea party.
Sitting up straightly, she cleared . "Hm... Reece," she addressed him as he's preferred, "before we get started, I do want to let you know of my intentions today as a reporter sent by your company to conduct this interview. The purpose of this meeting is to write an article about the rumors that have been plaguing online, especially those related to discord among yourself and the members of Dox. If at any time you do not wish to answer my question, you can freely pass as you wish."
Yeseo was a reporter all in all, she reports on the truth; however, she also wished to portray the truth in the most genuine light without distortions. She clicked her pen, a nervous habit. "Before we get to the main questions, let's take things easy. How are you feeling lately about your workload? As a member of a popular band, it must be difficult to make time for yourself, epecially when your free time, such as right now, is being used for this interview with me."
@✩ kwon yeseo ʳᵉᵖᵒʳᵗᵉʳ interviews surely had to be a celebrity’s worst nightmare. it was a sheer tug of war between a make or break moment for anyone with a reputable position in the entertainment industry, and reece simply hadn’t been that much different from anyone else in this case. although, as he sat in the rather suffocating confinements of the conference room, equipped with the list of questions beforehand for his reference, and better yet, preparation— there was no helping the rather aloof demeanour that had easily placed itself on a prominent display in usual reap.r fashion.
a more nonchalant than usual airing surrounding the man, allowing him to cast the papers in his hands aside as he readily awaited the arrival of the reporter, and just how well she might take to him. little did the silence in the room do to ease his thoughts from drawing up potential conclusions as to how the interview would go, knowing dox had never been the type to be received in the best ways at times, nor were they the type to care much for any publicity whatsoever, other than ensuring they stayed true to themselves, their music, and their fans. although, anything for a good story and whatever came in between, right?
his face had already worked itself into a subtle grimace at the thought. let alone the reporter’s eventual appearance after some time as she addressed him with such awkwardly painful formalities which had long been erased from his priorities. “it’s reece. let’s just stick with that, and get things over with. shall we?” he added with the click of his tongue, and the quirk of a brow, seemingly not wanting to waste a second more for either of their sakes. by then, he swears the ceo better have more in stores for the band. let alone, him, just for taking the bait and being the sacrificial lamb of the interview itself.
@✧ reece nishiya「ʀᴇᴀᴘ.ʀ」ᵈᵒˣ Once again, Yeseo finds herself walking down the familiar corridors of the building, her footsteps echoing through the hallways as she follows a staff member. Every time she comes here, she feels like she is walking through a maze. She never knows where each hallway will lead, and the unfamiliar turns often make her feel lost and confused.
As a reporter, she was often contacted to conduct interviews out of the blue. She expected today would be nothing special, but an ordinary, mundane part of her job. She has grown accustomed to meeting celebrities from various fields; actors, directors, models, idols, and so on. She is never starstruck anymore, just calm and collected during each interview.
However, when she was tasked with carrying out this interview, her first question was who she would have the honor of being in the presence of. Her answer appeared in bolded letters in the responding email: Reap.r
She thought she had seen it wrong, but when she read it again, her question was answered. It was indeed Reece Nishiya, known by his stage name in the edgy rock metal band Dox. As a drummer, he was a highly regarded musician in the industry but he was plagued by rumors about his controversial attitude.
From the research she had done beforehand, she saw various gossip blogs online about him. People accused him of being arrogant and snobbish, and she wondered if the stories were true. Her job required her to be unbiased. However, when she saw the various rumors online about him having discord with his fellow band members being the reason why he was venturing into acting, she immediately felt there must be some truth to it. In the past, Yeseo encountered similar situations where celebrities were the center of controversy. She had written articles for the company in an attempt to do damage control, spinning the story in a way that was favorable to the individuals involved. She was beginning to feel a similar situation might be occurring here.
"Reporter Kwon, this way please." The staff member stood in front of the conference room, allowing her to enter first.
Despite her hesitations, she had a job to do and had to keep her cool no matter how intimidating the situation was. She took a deep breath as she walked into the room, prepared to face whatever situation was ahead of her.
Initially, she thought the room was empty, but it turned out it was already occupied by the man of the hour. The staff member did not follow her, instead closing the door, leaving the two of them alone in the room. Yeseo was taken aback by the sudden development as she awkwardly stood in the room. She was not sure how to proceed, but she tried to hold her composure despite being intimidated by his gaze.
"Mr. Nishiya?" She spoke and held out her hand to greet him. "I'm Reporter Kwon from Stardom News. I'll interview you today."
