*˚✦ how to claim credits.
If you would like to claim in–character credits for a song, please tag an admin in this room with the following format;
- Song Title.
- Original Artist.
- Language(s).
- Number of Group Members.
- Your Credits.
- Justification for claiming credits.
Here is an example of a properly filled format;
- Song Title: Say So.
- Original Artist: Doja Cat.
- Language(s): English.
- Number of Group Members: 1 Member.
- Your Credits: Lyrics and producing.
- Justification for claiming credits: My muse is a producer and has songwriting as an official talent.
Do NOT claim credits for a song unless your muse has the talent and/or occupation for it. For example, do not claim lyric credits if your muse is a reporter with no songwriting skills. Idols and even trainees can claim credits, but only if one of your official talents allows for it.
Admins have a right to reject your claim if your muse does not have the talent to justify it or if the song has already been claimed by someone else. Make sure to double check the Songbook Spreadsheet before you make a claim.
You cannot claim credits for vocals, performance, or owning any songs. If you are an idol and want to use a song for yourself as an official release, you must discuss it with admins first and receive permission/approval beforehand.
Why? We want to be fair and only let you claim vocal/performing credits for a song once you have earned your chance for a debut or comeback. If we let you claim songs to be used in the future, but you go inactive or never debut, then it would not be fair to others who have earned their chance to perform a song yet suddenly can't claim the songs they want if you're hoarding them.
