survival show.
The trainee survival show is a competition where trainees from both companies can showcase their talents on the stage and compete through missions. After each mission, there will be eliminations of the lowest ranking contestants until only the highest ranking are left and crowned the winners of the show.
*˚✦ choosing contestants.
Once admins post an announcement regarding a new season of the survival show, and you make sure to read the announcement details to determine if you'd like to join, you can comment on the announcement using whatever format is required to sign up. Participation is not required, but HEAVILY encouraged for trainees.
Contestants will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. The amount of contestants needed might change for each season depending on whatever the circumstances are. Please only sign up if you understand what is expected of you and can stay active. If you go inactive and/or are not participating enough during show missions, you will be automatically eliminated.
*˚✦ missions.
Missions are important tasks, usually stage performances, that every contestant must accomplish in order to progress through the show. The details and instructions of each mission will change every time. It is your job as a contestant to perform whatever is required of you based on the mission instructions.
There will be a determined amount of time given for you to prepare and practice before you are required to present yourself on stage (or whatever else was tasked in the mission). Generally we will allow 2–4 days for you to prepare, but this exact number may change depending on how long the season is planned to last.
Once preparations have ended, all contestants will be called to the stage room so you can finally perform in front of the judge team and audience for the mission. Then you will be asked to do the following;
- Roll the dice in the Dice Roll room to determine how well or bad your performance was (more details on how this works below in the rankings section).
- Make a post in the stage room with a video link to whatever song or other thing it is you are performing for that mission.
- In your post, you can describe and roleplay the details of your performance.
Failure to fulfill any of the mission requirements will be considered as your character not showing up for the mission and you will be automatically eliminated off the show.
*˚✦ rankings.
Rankings for the survival show is a list to classify where each contestant stands, which of you are doing well or doing poorly. Contestants will be ranked individually (despite having group missions sometimes) based on a variety of factors such as votes received after a mission ends and quality of your mission performance.
Your goal as a contestant is to perform well and earn the highest amount of votes so you can reach the top of the rankings and win. The voting system will consist of 1 vote from each of the judges in addition to votes from the public audience.
Before any voting can occur, we must determine the quality of all performances for the current mission. To do this you will roll the dice in the Dice Roll room before you make your IC stage post.
- Roll 1 – 2 : Bad quality (1 extra vote)
- Roll 3 – 4 : Good quality (5 extra votes)
- Roll 5 – 6 : Perfect quality (10 extra votes)
After your dice roll and making your stage post, the voting can occur! All judges will be required to vote for who they think is worthy of winning that particular mission, but everyone else in the entire roleplay including contestants themselves are encouraged to vote. To avoid spam or fraudulent votings (when you vote for the same character over and over again) and make things as fair as possible, we will create a poll. The poll link and deadlines for voting will be announced as necessary after a mission has completed. Once the voting for that mission ends, we will tally up all the votes including the judges' votes. Winners of that mission will then be announced and the rankings list will be updated accordingly.
After each mission, there will be eliminations. The worst ranking contestant(s) will be eliminated off the show and announced before the next mission occurs. You will always have other chances to participate in future seasons!
*˚✦ judges & audience.
Every season will have a team of 3–6 judges who will judge the contestants and bring their expertise to the show. The only people who can become judges are idols who have already debuted and industry professionals (such as producers, choreographers, etc). Aside from judges, the audience (aka fans and everyone else in the roleplay) are encouraged to participate in the show by voting for their favorite contestants in each mission! Your votes count and will help the contestants to get closer to winning.
