@huh yunjin. She knew that her voice would be loud enough to be carried inside for her friend to hear her, not bothering to call out again. Instead, she stood there, cheeks puffed, silently counting the seconds as she waited, taking in her surroundings. Living in luxury herself, she was still always quite impressed whenever she came over to visit Yunjin, the Huh estate being one of her favorite places to hang out at. It was just so pleasant to look at, without being too overbearing.

The moment she caught sight of the tall heiress, Yuqi's lips quirked into a wide smile, already lifting one hand to wave at her friend. Grinning from ear to ear, she pulled her shoulders up into a shrug before half running up the path leading to the house, her suitcase in tow. "Didn't feel like calling you!" There was a playful hint in her voice, a mischievous spark in her eyes. Although it was true that she didn't necessarily feel like calling, it was more so that she had been so excited that she had simply forgotten that option.

Letting go of her suitcase at the last few meters, the smaller woman practically took a leap, throwing her lithe body at her taller friend, arms circling around her waist for a tight hug. Still keeping her arms around her, Yuqi tilted her head back, looking up at Yunjin.

"Every time I see you, it feels like you've grown even taller. How is that even possible?"

"they might like it from you, seeing as they barely listen to you in the first place." yunjin was more than amused watching the way jaehyun easily flopped to the ground to properly play with the cat underneath the couch, pulling her phone out to snap a quick picture before setting it down and goign back to her magazine as though it had never happened. "rum will come out whenever he's ready. he's probably taking a nap up in my bedroom, he likes the way the sunlight filters in on that side of the house anyway, and that's where he was the last time i saw him. as for snacks?" yunjin thought for a moment before shaking her head with a scrunch of her nose. "no, i'll give the two of them treats but it's usually when i'm filling their food bowls so i don't think they'd come if i shook the bag."

@song yuqi. yunjin had woken up early to make sure she had everything for the convention before yuqi came over, and after everything had been laid out carefully atop her bed, she decided to make breakfast. nothing too difficult, just some eggs to go with leftover meat she had from dinner the night before. she was excited to be going out with her friend again, ready to bring a storm to the convention with how good their outfits were.

yunjin blinked a few times at the sound of the intercom before going over to it, seeing that yuqi was already standing there. was it early? no, she had simply zoned out in thought. cursing to herself, yunjin pressed the button to open the gate, moving over to the front door to open it and watch ehr friend come into her estate.

"you should've called me!"

@huh yunjin. His fingers tapped on the ground as he playfully engaged with Red, expertly avoiding the claws now that he knew they were in play. "Is it okay to be on first name basis with them?" He asked, rather sweetly as his tone wasn't clear whether he was kidding or genuine, "They wouldn't prefer a title like 'Your Highness' or 'My Lord' or anything?" Okay, /now/ it was clear he was kidding, though his humor remained eerily calm and muted as usual. Jaehyun had completely committed to playing as he rolled his body onto the ground and faced Red, making eye contact as he engaged in full body play with the feline. Although it seemed he was focused intensely on playing, Jaehyun's thoughts had latched onto the whereabouts of Rum, wondering what Yunjin would do if she couldn't find the cat. "Do cats come to you if you offer them snacks?" He asked curiously, looking up at Yunjin as he expertly dodged the claws of Red from beneath the couch, then baiting with alternate hands with each attempted pounce.

@huh yunjin. It was still early in the morning, far from Yuqi's usual wake up time, especially since it was the weekend. Nevertheless, here she was, standing in front of the gates to her friend's house, ringing up a storm. She had been looking forward to this day for weeks, and now that it had finally come, she couldn't contain the excitement, her small body brimming with energy, to the point where she was practically bouncing on the spot, waiting for someone to open the door.

Although it wasn't their first time to visit an anime convention together, it still had been some time since they had last gone out together, mainly due to her own busy schedules. Lately, Yuqi had been spending most of her time indoors, mainly communicating with friends and family through video calls and text messages. And although the young woman didn't mind making few sacrifices for work, she really wasn't made to be alone for too long, the extrovert in her always longing to be physically close to other people. Which was why she had made sure that her schedules were cleared for the entire weekend, giving her subscribers a heads up that Raina would take a tiny little break for private reasons before she would be back to her usual streaming schedule on Monday.

Being a libra, she had meticulously planned everything out, even making a small itinerary, although she knew that they would most likely not keep to the timetable. Still, she just felt better being well prepared for everything. Which also meant that she had come with a whole suitcase, almost as big as herself, makeup and everything for her costume neatly stored in there. Glancing from the suitcase to the still locked gate, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Yah, Huh Yunjin! You better open up!"

"you get used to it." yunjin didn't even look up from where she was flipping through a fashion magazine, sure that jaehyun looked silly—a quick glance showed her that she was right, as he was practically hanging upside down from her couch to look beneath it. one of her cats was squished under there, ready to play with jaehyun as he tried to sweep his fingers to get his attention. "i don't know where rum went, but that's red under the couch. in case you couldn't tell them apart. again."

"Pspspsps," Jaehyun called out with his knuckles reached out to the meandering felines below him before flopping over Yunjin's couch and sliding his knuckles over the floor, moving from side to side like a mouse as he continued to hiss, "Pspspsps!" His head popped up from behind the couch his gaze wandered over to Yunjin as he asked, "Are they always this cal-" when he felt claws sink into his hand, and exclaimed with a soft, "Ah, ah, ah - I get it, I get it," as he removed his hand from the grasp of those little paws, then sank down to give the cat his full attention, reaching out with his other hand.
