@Hwang Hyunjin The breeze was nice on his face in the summer. That church Hyunjin was referring to was within walking distance. Maybe they had art inside. Felix would have to make a stop after this meeting if he had time. "Do you know if they have art in that church or if its just regular?" It was a shame he had to be working through this day. All he needed was the approval and he was sliding over in the booth, with his phone out taking a panoramic video stopping only when he remembered the mayor saying this wasn't a photo opportunity type of event and tucking the phone away, tossing a cautious glance in Hyunjin's direction. If it wasn't a photo event Felix really didn't see any reason he should have been sent. He learned a long time ago not to ask too many questions at work, though.
The blond had to lock in and pay attention. He was listening... or he was hearing, something; eyes moving on their own visually touching on every inch of skin exposed at the removal of this jacket. What a sleeper build! Is this how they were making tech dudes nowadays? He honestly thought they were nerds. This dude was badd. There's not a time when Felix ever really ran into anybody who could compete with him in looks and didn't think it ever would happen. He was today years old when it did.
Felix's eyes flicked over the admin's lips as he bit them and remembered there was talking going on. Mentally scrambling around as the word 'darling' freed him from the stronghold of his mind. Would it be weird to tell him, that he was fine? Probably would be harassment. Felix squinted the bottom of his eyes, catching on the slight strain in the other's voice as he responded. "I'm an intern. I work as the social media manager for city hall." Felix twisted the ring on his finger, not knowing whether it was acceptable to start eating yet or not once the food arrived. "I'm in charge of most, if not all of the city sanctioned profiles online. There's also other things I do around the office but it's not in my job description really... It's fun, its kinda like side quests to my day." The blond giggled, tilting his head to on side, a smile freeing itself from behind plumped pink lips. "I'm guessing your're not from here by your accent. What part of the UK are you from? Have you been here long, in Atrani?"
@Lee Felix Chicken strips and fries. The order brought on a faint smile, curious eyes trained on the blonde. The younger looked eager to take in the view of the city, but was willing himself to stay in place. How precious. Unbeknownst to Felix, the doll's wishes were clear. It was akin to seeing a diamond in Monaco. Transparent and full of enticement. "The church looks phenomenal at this hour. Take a look." The suggestion was candidly disguised as a mere comment, hoping to allow Felix to drink in the city without hesitation. Normally, Hyunjin wouldn't have cared to make such an opening. But, he was feeling nice today. An after-effect of watching the former smile, maybe. The sun hit the doll's skin in a way that made him glow, tiny freckles all the more apparent. Felix was a nice view.
"I handle the clearance, and then my team takes the rest." The Brit explained whilst deftly shrugging off his coat to reveal a ribbed, sleeveless, crew-neck. They were no longer in the cool confines of the cafe, and Travestere had a habit of being tantalizingly warm out. Preparing to go over the system that protected the laundering, Hyunjin's movement slowed upon hearing the doll's last question. Felix didn't know. The question cemented Hyunjin's suspicions. What in the ever-loving was going on? Heechul couldn't be /this/ swamped. er must've lost the plot.
Chuckling in disbelief, the admin took his lower tier between pearly teeth to contain the rampant string of curses threatening to spill. Gods. "Not long, darling. I promise to keep it short." Not anymore. Holding the manilla envelope up, Hyunjin shielded the younger from witnessing the exasperated way his fingers carded through dark, tussled locks. He could handle the task on his own. It was true. But to have a civilian carry over the information was bloody risky. Watching the waiter return with their orders, Hyunjin momentarily discarded his thoughts and focused on Felix. The pretty thing was a sheep in a room full of starved wolves. "Pray tell, what is it that you do for the mayor?"
@Hwang Hyunjin Maybe Felix didn't understand the magnitude of what the Mayor was into. Everything was seeming like a scene from some spy movie. Maybe the Matrix. Everything Hyunjin did was fluid and smooth and subtle. Even the way he walked was like he didn't have anywhere to be. As if he just took steps and the world turned under him. His ears perked up at the word 'darling' and proceeded to follow the technician into this private balcony. Felix wasn't sure what Hyunjin was talking about but it sounded nice. Calibers. If that's what they needed to open malls then, "Yeah, I've handle tons of projects. Easy peasy." Felix sat across from, Hyunjin, eyes darting around in curiosity and confusion. Mayor did say that Hyunjin would know everything to do and that there wouldn't be much else that Felix had to do, but now he wasn't so sure that was right. Jaw dropping to the guards as they approached the table, blinking back to the man in front of him. Hyunjin's tone of voice was gentle and encouraging, a stark contrast to the flat cut of his words to the guards. Felix sat up straighter, sliding his bag into the spot beside him and tucking a lock of light hair behind his ear. He had to act like he belonged here. Easy. "I'd like chicken strip, and fries please." Well done. Professional Tech Business Talker in your presence. "So, Hyunjin, are you normally the one who handles these contracts or is there like a team?" He peeked as far as he could over the balcony without lifting from his seat, smiling at the view. Its was so pretty over here. They'd probably ruin this view with a mall. "Also," He snapped his head back to the man in front of him, "How long do these things usually take?"
@Lee Felix A flicker of intrigue glinted in the Admin's eyes. The blonde was taken aback, yet pleasantly surprised. Needless to say, Hyunjin was as well. The casual attitude and eyesore of a boba cup in an establishment that primarily sold hand-pressed coffee, the taller couldn't help but chuckle. "Yes, darling. I'm me. Shall we go on?" He teases, a ghost of a grin gracing sharp features as he leads the younger to a private area, two digits tapping the nearest table to signal security. "Have you ever handled a project of this...caliber?" This wasn't a regular city plan, nor should an outsider be involved. Hence, the hushed inquiry once the two were assured in through locked doors. What was the mayor playing at?
Greeted by fluorescent, dim lights and a booth set comfortably in the nook of a balcony, Hyunjin drops the manilla envelope onto the table. "Start us off with cajun fries and infused water on my end," there wasn't an ounce of warmth in his order to a specialized personnel, eyes flitting to Felix. The sugary drink wouldn't fill him for long. The contract review was a tedious task, and the Admin was sure he'd be spending a great deal explaining what each clause meant. "Craving anything, sweets?" He beckons the blonde to sit, tone taking on a level of softness that was starkly vacant in the order prior. Hyunjin couldn't help it. Felix reminded him of his current beau.
@Hwang Hyunjin There was honestly no good reason for Felix to have to come all the way out here for a mall opening that wasn't even open yet. Just open the damn mall what was all this extra stuff. He climbed out the Uber patting himself down, making sure he had his phone, wallet, bag, keys, drink and food-- oh and that envelope mayor needed to give to the tech guy. Relieved once everything was accounted for, he bumped the door closed with his and marched into the building eyes searching the room for some awkward antisocial dweeb that looks like he would know how to build a computer from scratch. He hummed to himself, narrowing his eyes while taking a sip of his boba, everybody here was in some suits and looked like they golfed and was part of a ... country club. They were dressed like his dad's friends. Felix kept walking maybe if he looked confused enough the guy would find him. He had to be here it was already about ten... Felix checked his watch. Sheesh. 30 minutes passed when he was supposed to be here. He was late, no surprise but he thought more like fifteen minutes. Suddenly, approached, by some... British guy?
"Um, hi," This was not what Felix was expecting. No competition this was easily the coolest person in the room,"You're the tech guy?" Pointing with his boba cup, brows nudging together, softening as he checks the guy out with a tilt of his head, no shame, no subtleties, eyes finally finding their way back up to the Brit, pursing his lips in cheeky suspicion. "Hyunjin? You're Hyunjin? I was expecting someone kinda different." Reluctantly, passing the manila envelope over to Hyunjin. "Mayor said everything you need is in that envelope," But me, that's the only thing that's not, Felix thought... though he kept that to himself. "Sooo,, let's get started. What do you need me to do?"
@Lee Felix Beyond the sprinkle of empty conversations and sly attempts by onlookers to gain the lad's waning attention, Hyunjin eventually found himself surrounded by a circle of pompous elites. The city was practically infested by them. 'I heard rumors of a new mall entering the city.' Frankly, Lucy, the only rumor buzzing the streets is about your third divorce. 'Congrats on the new relationship status. I didn't know you could be affectionate.' Congrats on your new child-bride as well, Seung. Didn't know you liked them the same age as your daughter.
, he needed a drink, or maybe a team of lawyers once he ran them both over with his car. Moments like these were when the Brit remembered why he chose a secluded island over the bustling city. People pissed him off. Even one that he had yet to see; Felix Lee. A single glance at his watch, and it only re-affirmed the man's absence. The secretary had scheduled the meeting here. 2PM, sharp. Perhaps he should've offered to pick the government pawn up. It'd reduce his current suffering.
Nearing the edge of his patience, Hyunjin scanned the vicinity for an exit, though his attention was quaintly nabbed by a blonde with gold-framed glasses. Certainly, that was his target for the meeting. A petite frame with feline-like features, styled to garner the attention of all. Sighing a breath of relief, the Admin was quick to slip out the circle of incorrigible elites, ignoring the various calls of his name as he scaled the room toward the other. Degenerates, the lot of them.
"Felix, right? You're here to discuss Project 32." He notes blandly after eyeing the manilla folder in the doll's hands. The man looked young, but maybe, just maybe, he was competent.
@Jeon Jungkook Sena didn't even know why he was laughing. Someone in their group of 4 had said something funny and now they were laughing so hard their sides hurt. He was in Travestere, a gelato in hand and long pink hair pulled up into a ponytail. The four of them stood out, with their super baggy jeans, tiny tops and massive studded belts. Sena was wearing a collar with a ring attached. The younger people around them didn't spare them more than a glance, but the older people were definitely judging. Well, neither Sena nor any of his friends cared. They were having a great time strolling through the pretty streets of Travestere, taking selfies and making stupid jokes.
Their blissful moment was cut short when Sena yelped. Before he knew it the world had started to tilt. No, that was him, falling sideways. His tall platform boots had caught on a cobble stone. He saw his friends' eyes widening and then his ribs hit the side of a table. "Ah-", Sena groaned, brows furrowing in pain. His body rolled and he felt himself smacking into something else. It was a person. And they had... ice cream... all over them? ---Oh. Oh . In the background he could hear his friends laughing and he gave them a quick stink-eye before looking at the handsome ice cream guy. Sena pushed himself up to his feet and in doing so accidentally smeared his own gelato on the guy as well. "! , I'm sorry- Are you okay?", he asked hastily while his friends continued to laugh like hyenas. Sena was already reaching for the napkins and promptly started to wiping down the stranger's clothes in short, rough .
