hanbin, still checking his phone for a message from his boyfriend or just Manly giggling at the groupchat, sat on the grass under a tree, leaning his back on the said tree and accidentally hit his head in the process. he cursed under his breath and moved his hand to the spot to soothe the pain, but he only needed one thing.

he took his phone once again and pulled the messages with hao, rapidly smashing the keys.

the incarnate of sloth, laid horizontally on the thick verdant carpet, beneath golden sunlight that lacked the scorching summer heat albeit held subtle warmth.

his visage shrouded by a baseball cap while the backpack assumed the role of the pillow, though stiff-neck inducing was enough to provide support his ephemeral visitation to dreamland.

songs from his personally curated playlist plugged into his ear drums. until he shot up that the violent interruption from his alarm.

".." his groggy and understandably hoarse voice uttered, removing the cap from his face that contorted when confronted by the bright daylight. he sat up, fingers running through his tousled hair, uncharacteristically messy from the nap. his disoriented brain trying to gather any semblance of composture to clear the dredges of his sleep.

gertrude was having the worst day of her life. 10 students came to her wanting to change programs and almost none of that had the right requirements. she wasted several hours of her life on these students with no direction, just for her to end up with a delayed lunch time. what makes it worse is that she only packed herself a sandwich today and that was definitely not satisfying enough for the anger that the students put her through. she was trying to calm her mental state by taking a walk at the quad to feel at peace and one with nature, to experience some of the fresh air, and fascinate at the buildings that were built before her time. this was the plan. however, how is it past conventional lunch time and students were still out and about at the quad? she heard the irritating voices of students talking about their courses and not liking the their programs. she heard the grating voices of students complaining about their bad grades and wanting to drop out of school or maybe changing their program would help them excel. this was the worst. "get to the class kids" was all she could think of in her head and while she could definitely engage with these students, now was simply not the time. she needs to eat her sandwich.
