@♆ Joy Blinking, she looked back to Joy and tilted her head slightly. "Well it's..."She mumbled, thinking to herself on how to explain it. "It's something you wear around your neck for decoration. It a piece of jewelry. You know how some people wear their pearls around their neck? that's a necklace." Hyorin nodded, smiling to herself as she was proud of her answer. "But the one I'm looking for isn't a mermaid necklace. I mean it is, but I received it from my mother who got it when a human dropped it in the water. It's a silver chain with a little midnight blue, silver streaked sea shell inside. Kind like my tail." She looked down at her tail, pouting more as the silver tips of her dark blue scales gleamed in the little light there was. However, if you open the shell, there's a sapphire blue jewel inside." The young mermaid finished her story and began to chew on her lower lip as she continued to search. She just had to find that necklace.
@♆ Joy Hyorin listened to the story and nodded, understand it was something everyone did, at least once in their life. "I see. That use to happen to me a lot." The mermaid pouted as she used her tail to flick some sand out of the way. With a huff, she blew her bangs up and shook her head, deciding she was done looking for the day. You aren't bothering me at all. Why would you think that?" Hyorin asked, looking up to the other with a small frown on her face. She was often told she could be really unfriendly, but she was really hoping that she hadn't been unfriendly to Joy. Hyorin's facial features straightened up as she heard Joy question her actions. "Me?" The mermaid huffed once again, remembering her predicament. "I came down here myself. I had come on a little adventure with once of my closest friends, but I lost a very important necklace. He wouldn't come with me though, which is why I'm alone."
@♆ Joy With a slight nod of her head, Hyorin began swimming forward, scanning the ground carefully as she did. Though she knew that the other was beside her, she ignored her for the most part as she focused on what she came here for. "Where is that thing...." The female mumble, her tail flicking in annoyance as she came to a stop. Looking at the new mermaid, Joy, her irritated face eased a bit, not wanting to scare her off. "What were you doing before you found yourself here?" Hyorin questioned. She tilted her head a bit before deciding to continue with her search, waiting for the others answer.
@♆ Joy Hyorin's head tilted slightly. She blinked at the girl, sensing no harm, and scoffed lightly. She wasn't trying to be mean, don't get her wrong. She just didn't understand how someone got lost, and ended up here of all places. "Hey, don't cry okay? The salt in your tears will attract unwanted friends." The young mermaid smiled softly as she flicked her head to the side. "You can come with me if you'd like. I'm looking for something, but I know how to get out. Unless, of course, you would like to find your own way."
How did he end up here? His eyes opened and just suddenly he wasn't in his lair.
But he recognized this place..
The smell, the chill, the echoing screams, the metal clinks..
He wanted to go home, but metal bound his arms and he could feel the magical energy in his blood fizzle but fade.
Trapped. He was trapped, without magic. No.no no no no no.
His heart raced. This couldn't happen to him.no.
@♆ Joy Continuing to look around, Hyorin stopped suddenly, hearing a small cry somewhere near by. She tilted her head slightly, attempting to find out where it was coming from. Swimming towards the sound, Hyorin stayed alert, never knowing what kind of things could be down here. As the noise got closer, the young mermaid was able to see a tail - a mermaid's tail. She let her guard down; just a tad before swimming a bit closer. "Hey...Are you okay?" She called out, not trying to startle the other.
It was silent, all that could be heard was the hum and groan that was the ocean floor. The water here was cooler, and seemed to freeze and numb the skin if one stayed too long.
Zitao was making his patrols, checking here and there for anything out of the ordinary. He caught sight of skeletons, rotting corpses, half starving criminals, and he kept his heart as closed and cold as ice.
These people were sentenced here for crimes they committed. He could neither say nor do anything to aid them.
Hyorin swam through quietly, keeping her guard up more than usual. She didn't like this place at all. It was dark and murky and really brought her mood down. She rubbed her arms as she looked around. Why was she even here? She couldn't remember the reason. All she wanted was to find what she was looking for and leave. "I have to make sure I don't get into any trouble. This place is absolutely horrible." The mermaid muttered, shivering a bit as she swam by a skeleton.
@♆ Baekhyun /pulls him by his hand and grins widely/
Oh come on. Baekhyun! You remember the pearl story - I saw them here, I really did!
/short tail flutters faster than it has ever has before as she almost drags him to the dim waters around the dungeon/
/casts him a glance and a coy smile/
You're not scared of the, dark are you?
@♆ Eunji The atmosphere in the dimly lit dungeon was quite chilling and deathly quiet, but no matter the case, it was still interesting. Baekhyun hadn't been to this part of the kingdom and needless to say, he was curious about what they'd heard from their friends about the spooky tales they would share during their gatherings. "Quit your whining, Eunji. It's not like something is going to jump out at us at any moment. You're being such a drama queen," he scoffed and playfully rolled his eyes as he continued on his way down the aisle way, a few paces behind the other. "All we need to do is go in, collect some proof that we didn't chicken out and then we can head back. How hard could that be?" he reasoned, trying to convince himself as well that it wasn't too bad down here, despite the echoing of their voices off the walls. Man, was it really getting spookier the further in they went. However, fear was not something Baekhyun usually showed, to his supposed 'enemy' no less. Though, if he honestly could, he would want to befriend the latter, but pride was such a strange thing; it prevented them from being the first to cave in and admit that they were friends at this point anyway.
Seolhyun left. I really want to be in this rp but it's too dead and most of them haven't rped in months. I will probably join back if it's active. I'm sorry. I really am.
