@☆ Chorong /ponders over what I should do next before reaching a playful conclusion.
I wonder if -
/sneakily swims up from behind you and taps your shoulder before swimming behind another rock.
@♆ Taehyung *jumps slightly and stares at the pebble before continuing*
This place is very wonderful... *smiles and sits on a rock*
I wonder why it's secret though...
@☆ Chorong /surfaces from underneath the water and grumbles to myself.
I need to be more careful or she'll find me out ugh.
/swims alongside you and hiding occasionally to make sure I'm not seen.
It's surprising how she's not bored of this cove yet.
/decides to toss a pebble at the wall and observes your reaction.
@♆ Taehyung *hears the splash and walks to where it splashed*
Hmm.. I swear I heard something..
*looks closely in the water before shrugging it off*
Off we go~
@☆ Chorong /sighs lightly and shakes my head in amusement.
At least she isn't suspicious about where I am.
I'd better make sure she's safe though.
/starts to follow you, but splashes a bit by accident.
Crap! /dives under water and keeps my eyes on you.
@☆ Chorong /hides behind a rock and peeks over.
Hmm. I didn't expect her to find the cove to so easily.
/tries to hide deeper inside, but keeps an eye on you.
@☆ Hayoung Taeyang was comfortably swimming around, dangerously near to the shore as he was blindly following the sea lion and didn't bother checking for any humans, as it was as silent as it was under water and as he was still covered by stones. And even if somebody saw him, he looked just like any other human out there- they couldn't see his tail, after all. Every now and then, Taeyang would look into the cove, just to check whether a certain someone was there. He'd come to like observing her. She usually sang, and she enjoyed hearing her voice. That was something he could get used to if he ever decided to go on land; music. He knew he would immediately go and learn how to play on this strange instrument of hers, which name was still unknown to him.
It took her some while, but after some time, he could see her figure grow in the distance, and yes, she was carrying the instrument. Taeyang leaned onto a rock, hiding away from her, while the animal swam even closer to the shore, and eventually even left the water to clumsily approach her. And she talked to him as if it was normal for humans to communicate with animals like this. He had seen some of them with animals on the sea they called 'dogs', and they were naming them and playing, and the dogs obeyed and listened to everything the humans said. He wondered how hard it was building up such a relationship with an animal. And then he looked at the sea lion and realized it wasn't even that hard if one let the animal decide.
He was so absorbed in his thoughts and that he missed the first sounds she made. However, the notes slowly reached his ears, and he brought his attention back to the girl. He was so fascinated by her and the way she came here always daily just to sing. He had never seen another human doing it (to be fair, he hadn't given any human that much thought, but that didn't count to him) that after some time, he had stopped being careful enough for her to see him. Usually, he would take care of the weather and the water and that the stream wouldn't pull him into her direction, but that day- the way she hit the strings, the way the soothing melody calmed him down- he completely forgot to be careful. He only noticed he was way too close to the shore when his fin touched the ground, and as he wanted to withdraw, the sea lion had already spotted him and made happy gurgling sounds and hopped into his direction. Taeyang's eyes widened remarkably as his eyes found the ones of the girl, who had spotted him- thanks to the cute animal. He froze in his tracks, not knowing how to react.
@☆ Yifan I was here not long ago
/nods to her words
I'm a little lost...
why here are so little humans?
/talks with mistakes , trying to talk human language
@☆ Yifan /swims out of the water
/lowly stands up
/dresses white dress that she asked another mermaid to hide for her earlier
/ gets easily tired of walking
/ sits in the cave and then hears your voice and hides behind the rock
/watches you secretly
/staring at your clothes and legs
@☆ Kyungsoo Blinking lightly, Hyorin turned to look behind her where Kyungsoo had just walked. A light chuckle escaped - something she rarely did around the other - before she followed behind him, sitting once more back on the sand. "No, I wasn't lost. I'm sorry for worrying you." Hyorin brought her knees back to her chest, resting her head on them as she observed Kyungsoo for a bit. He always seemed so happy. She wasn't sure if it was for show or not, but she admired him for it. The girl wasn't sure if the other had really ever gone through anything in his life time. For some reason, just looking at him like this made her hope he hadn't. She didn't want anything to ruin him. He was perfect to her. Something she was very far from ever achieving. "I should have left a note. I'll be sure to do that next time." Hyorin spoke up after a while. She looked back to the sea, taking in a deep breath. An inkling of a smile adorned the mermaid's face as her toes wiggled in the sand. "Kyungsoo..." Hyorin began. However, she quickly shook her head, closing her eye as she listened to the water. "Never mind." A silent tear slipped out of her eye. Wiping it quickly, the girl faced away from the other. There was a reason she came to the beach today. It was a day for mourning. The anniversary of the incident she had yet to tell the other. But no matter what, she couldn't let the man she admired so much, see her cry.
As he got closer to the cove, calling out for Hyorin, a voice called back in response, her voice, causing the worry in his heart to finally wash away. Taking off in that direction, Kuungsoo took a deep breath of air as he reached the cove, the person he was searching for not too far from the entrance. Running a hand through his hair, he began to approach her. As he did, he got closer to see the expression on her face. There was no hont of worry or confusion. Rather, she looked serene- or more like, she was serene a few moments before at least- much like what he felt when he was by the ocean. "Hey, I didn't see you by the house... I was worried you got lost." he said, looking out into the ocean, his last sentence coming out in a tone just above a whisper. Clearing his throat, he looked back into her eyes. "You aren't lost, are you?" A smile adorns his face as he speaks, walking past her and taking a seat on one of the rocks and placing his shoes beside him, still breathing a bit heavy from all the running.
@☆ Kyungsoo Hyorin's eyes closed momentarily - bringing her knees to her chest and resting her head against them - as she listened to the waves crash against the shore. It was such a soothing sound. With a soft sigh escaping her lips, the young "undercover" mermaid began to drift to sleep. That is, until she heard a voice. His voice. Though only with him for a short time, she could tell when Kyungsoo was speaking. His voice was so rich and melodious that it was hard not to remember it. Sighing once more, Hyorin opened her eyes and stood up, looking to where the voice came from. "I guess I did stay out too long." A small pout set on the girls lips as she begin walking towards the place Kyungsoo's voice was coming for. "I'M HERE, KYUNGSOO!" She finally responded, nearing the entrance of the cove. She looked back over her shoulder once more, wanting nothing more than to stay for a bit longer.
@♆ Hyorin Kyungsoo took a deep breath as he reached the beach, lungs burning from running so much. It had been perhaps 30 minutes since Kyungsoo came home, Hyorin- the mysterious girl he had taken into his home recently- was no where to be found. He didn't know what it was about her, but he simply had felt this need to protect her, or at least take care of her, since he laid eyes on her. Kyungsoo looked up and just realized where his feet had taken him. As soon as he noticed Hyorin was nowhere in the house, he took off in search of her, fear that she had gotten lost settling in. Taking off his shoes, he stepped onto the sand, a momentary calm setting his heart as the familiar sensation of walking on the beach registered. Remembering his mission, Kyungsoo walked out farther towards the beach, voice resonating with each shout. "HYORIN?? ARE YOU HERE??" He walked on further till he neared the cove, hoping dearly she was nearby.
@☆ Kyungsoo Hyorin sat in the sand, looking out over the water as she thought. Thought about what all had happened in such a short amount of time. She was on land - that was new. She met a guy - not so new. She met a human guy - that was quite new. She didn't know how to feel about it yet, but she found herself with a small smile on her face. The male, Kyungsoo as he told her, was very kind. He took her into his home, no questions asked. He fed her and bought her clothes and the young girl was extremely thankful. She had been with him for only a short while, yet it was the best time she's ever really had. Sure, she gave him a hard time, but she just didn't know how to show her appreciation just yet. "I don't know what time it is...I should get back though. Kyungsoo might get worried." Hyorin mumbled to herself yet made no move to get up. She liked it here. It was nice and peaceful and reminded her of home - the good and the bad. Wrapping her arms around herself, Hyorin just made herself more comfortable as she continued looking out over the ocean. Something in the back of her head told her to stay put and just wait a bit longer.
@♆ Choa It was awesome playing with the girl named Choa. She was also a really good swimmer and Emma admired her skills. Maybe she could ask the girl to teach her or give her swimming lessons if she was kind enough. They were having a tickle fight when all of a sudden, Emma heard her mother call her. She wanted to introduce her new friend to her mom but once she turned around, Choa was already swimming away quickly."Choaaaa! Choaaa! Come back!" Emma screamed and hoped the girl could hear her but the wind only carried away her callings. She pouted sadly as her mother peeked at the rocks and called her to get out of the water. The last thing emma saw was the glittery tail costume diving in to the sea.
Memories like that were fun to recall during times like this. Emma walked along the big boulders where she used to play with the girl. She skipped the boulders happily and sat on the lowest boulder she found. Looking out into the horizon, emma suddenly heard a swishing sound and checked on the side of the rock, there she found an unconscious female and she hurriedly went up to her side and lightly patted her cheek. "Miss, miss, are you okay?"
@♆ Choa As soon as the girl got free from the rocks, Emma was taken aback when she suddenly jumped at her. She smiled and lightly patted her back before the latter pulled away. Emma stood up and was about to go back to search for her locket that she pretended to be her treasure. She was about to walk when the other girl suddenly dragged her wrist. Looking down at her, she grinned and nodded "Hmm okay then, you dont mind if I swim while wearing this? I didn't bring any swimsuits today." She smiled and dipped into the water completely clothed.
"thanks, what about you? what's your name?" Emma asked as she tilted her head while keeping afloat. The way the girl spoke made Emma think that she was from a foreign non english speaking country but she didn't mind. Her broken english was a cute touch to her personality and asian looks.
"I wanna be one too!" She assumed the girl was talking about pirates because who wanted to be like plain old boring emma?
"you know pirates love mermaids and when they sing, mermaids get attracted to their places!" Emma piped up and sang softly while looking out at the sea. The other girl said something but emma didn't hear it, however when she was about to ask her what it was, the girl suddenly tickled her making Emma burst into fits of laughter. She swam away and playfully splashed her with the water "heeyy, I'm ticklish" Emma said while giggling at the girl.
@♆ Choa The amused look of the girl's face made her smile as well. She didn't know what the latter was thinking but judging by the wide eyes and jawdrop, something was running in that girl's mind. Emma was an awkward person , so she decided to leave the costume party earlier. The kids that being a pirate is for boys only. She scrunched her face at the other kids earlier, defending that she was a pirate in hopes that she would see mermaid. They didn't listen to her and didn't bother inviting her to play. Emma didn't care though, some kids were obnoxious and her mother just forced her to attend the birthday party. But emma isn't antisocial or whatnot, she just prefers to hang out with more sensible people or those who don't judge easily. It was the last straw when they told her that mermaids were dumb and nonexistent.
She ran out of the party and made her way to the cove. Much better, emma
thought. Luckily, she met someone. As she tried to pull unsuccessfully on the girl's hand, she noticed that the girl was stuck.
"Hmm wait there" Emma said as she moved down the rocks, not minding that her costume will get drenched. She widened her eyes when she realized that the cause of the girl being stuck because her tail was caught in the rocks.
"So you left the party too huh?" Emma said as she sat on the rock and slowly wiggled the tail of the girl out of the nooks of the rocks. feeling the scaly and a slippery material, she grinned at the girl "wow it feels realistic, you must have payed a lot for this." Emma wiped her hands on her pants once the girl was free.
She offered a handshake and said "My name is emma by the way, and I'm a pirate that's looking for treasure!" She stood up.proudly imitating a pirate from the movies.
"Do you wanna play with me?"
Seolhyun left. I really want to be in this rp but it's too dead and most of them haven't rped in months. I will probably join back if it's active. I'm sorry. I really am.
